Episode 4: Love Triangle

Skystar looked to the side to check on Hydranoid, but as she feared, Hydranoid was not able to break free from his constraints. Skystar was tempted to cast a healing ability on him to get rid of it, but she decided against it after seeing how many times the cat cheated death, even turning many of her own abilities against the duo. It would definitely spell bad news if Yita were to somehow become acquainted with the ability Skystar has that can progress the rate at which Hydranoid can break free. Due to this, she was forced to consider the hydra a liability and continue the brawl by herself.

"I know what you're implying, Hydranoid, and I don't like it," Tracy said in response to Hydranoid's statement. "Noland doesn't need anyone to fight his battles, so don't you dare pin this on him. You're not in any position to talk about anyone like that, so do us a favor and keep your mouth shut." Skystar let the shoulder discs return and connect back to her body before she offered her input on what Hydranoid said to offend Tracy that much. "He has done some....questionable things in the past," Skystar said in reference to the assault incident. "I'm not saying I agree with Hydranoid about that assumption, but...you never know what he's capable of. He does whatever he wants after all...So does Drago."

Ignoring every accusation against Noland for this girl's appearance, Tracy fixed her eyes on Yita and Neri, fully intent on knocking them out. "We're just going to drop that before it gets even more heated over here," Tracy settled. She swiped one card on her BrawlX. "Ability activate! Trio Synchro!" The attribute symbols on Skystar's belt lit up upon activation. Each attribute became a Skystar aligned with that attribute, making three total Skystar's on Tracy's side. This tripled the threat level she represented on the field. "The only thing you need to know about my supportive role is that I'm a cleric, the single unit on the battlefield that picks others up when they're down instead of ensuring they don't get back up, unlike you of course," Skystar said to indirectly bash Yita's motives.

"Frost Fire plus Combustion Striker!" The Pyrus and Aquos variants deployed their discs to float above them. They used the two announced abilities on fully automatic mode. In simpler terms, they were able to continuously shoot beams of ice and fire without having to stop.

A small giggle escapes from the lips of the girl before she spoke, "It's what you've done that makes you an obstacle in my way, thus earning my hatred as well, Alana. You are going to be one of the harder ones to remove from the picture." Yita says as she draws out two cards, seeing Skystar's incoming attack. "Better take care of that before continuing my little speech. Neri, Digital Daggers with Teku Reflector."

The said bakugan does a small twirl, summoning daggers that looked like they were made out of a bunch of 1's and 0's before they were covered up with data that made it look like actual daggers. "You have a different method of brawling Skystar," Neri says as she steadies the blades floating in the air, charging them up with her energy. "That's why our method seems harsh, because it's different... I suppose." The feline raises her head slightly, signaling the energy charged blades to shoot towards the incoming beams, piercing through them and heading straight towards the different attributed Skystars. "Besides, some of your other resistor friends use this method as well." Neri finishes, watching the blades run though the beams and halting their progression to her.

"Now where was I?" Yita asks out loud as she rests her hand on her mouth, thinking for a few seconds before perking right back up, "Oh yeah, why I hate you two so much. All in the name of love, blah blah blah." She coughs slightly to regain her posture. "To sum it all up, I'm doing this all just for... You guys should know him quiet well... The person you fought at the tournament a few months ago when you were all crazed by the darkness Alana, the one you walked in to have your heart broken on Christmas Tracy. The leader of your little group of resistors." She says, closing her eyes as she recites everything from memory before she reopens her eyes. "You should know who I'm talking about now."

Hydranoid perched his heads up high when he heard of this. His first reaction was to have all eyes on Tracy after she had doubted what he was saying this entire time. "Don't worry about admitting I was right. Nothing else needs to be said to confirm that again," Hydranoid started, "The apology that you're about to craft for me must be three minutes long, and it has to outline every instance in where you were wrong and I was right, pretty much EVERY TIME. You must also pledge that you will never EVER cling to Noland and Drago whenever something happens.

Alana's will to fight was erased completely once Yita's implication reached her. She froze in place for a moment, not knowing how to react to Noland wishing this upon her. "This...is what you left me for...?" Heartbroken from the continuous battering on her emotions, Alana fell down on her knees and hung her head down to where no one could see her face as she was tearing up. Not even Hydranoid's condition mattered to her anymore.

"Okay...that shouldn't have happened," Tracy said to herself concerning Yita's proclaimed relation to Noland, ignoring Hydranoid's banter completely. "That doesn't explain why she hates me though. I didn't do anything..." Skystar disregarded those concepts, not wanting to distract her focus from executing a quick attack that Neri would not be able to anticipate, which was a key benefit from having her discs act on her behalf. "Don't try to justify your actions by citing them as different. That's ridiculous." All three Skystar's shifted their staffs into bows by creating an electric arc on each end, applied three arrows onto each one, and then shot them into the heart of the beast. "Judgment Arrow!" she declared, scoring direct hits with each arrow.

Neri zoomed into the wall after impalement. The ability's effect began to take hold on her, zapping her continuously to deprive her of the ability to raising her power level completely regardless of the means to do so. "You think being in love with someone gives you free reign to treat someone like this? Do you have any morals, the ability to think for yourself on what the right thing to do is?" Angered past her limits, Tracy unleashed a triple node ability card and swiped it on her gauntlet. "You're only using Noland as a scapegoat to how disgusting of a being you truly are, and I will not allow you to cause pain any more! Fusion ability activate! Elemental Vanquisher!"

The attribute symbols on the Skystars' belts shined to form the triple node. The discs revved up very loudly while charging the powerful blasts that they've concocted from the combination. Once they were completed, they unleashed hell upon Neri, showing zero signs of remorse or sorrow for what they were trying to do.

"Now you've just gotten me angry." Yita huffs as she crosses her arms. "I truly love Noland and will do just about anything to protect him." She hums as she takes three cards out. "Like removing you filthy people, for you guys have tainted him." The girl growls, the cards beginning to glow as her glare hardens on Tracy. "Triple Ability Activate."

Neri struggles to get back up from the judgement arrows, fidgeting every few seconds. Her blue eyes stay focused on the triple nod ability, watching Skystar's Elemental Vanquisher attack come towards her with no hesitation any what-so-ever. "Light Strike Roar, Love Blessing," Yita says as the two corresponding cards start to set into play. Neri does another roar, but this time it was louder and infused with her haos power which was different to any other haos bakugan, sending the attack right back at Skystar at double force. The roar-blast then changed into a pink hue as Neri summons a heart-shaped knife and throws it into the attack with a whack of her tail to the best of her abilities, making her attack deathly if touched by any being in the way. "Now aim for the Hydranoid, Holy Curse," Yita orders, pointing at the said bakugan.

The haos feline launches herself at the hydra once again, latching herself onto him and sinking her claw into his flesh, injecting a poison into him, a virus that was to lower his energy levels bit by bit with every passing second. Once she had injected the curse, she detaches herself and jumps back and takes a deep breath. She would have to conserve her energy if Yita wanted her to continue, the Judgement Arrow still in play, effecting the feline.

"Oh my goodness..." Skystar rushed her clones to deploy their discs in front of them so they can unify their powers for the shield they needed to make before they were obliterated by their own attack. "You don't even know him like we do..." Tracy assured while swiping her ability card. "Ability activate! Orbital Shield!" The discs projected a blue shield in front of her to clash directly with the reflected blast. There were definitely signs of a struggle due to the ability being redirected at double the power. It was more noticeable in the last-ditch effort she used to push it back. "I'm...not...going...to...let...you...win...like...this. Shooting...Star...Drive..." she gasped.

They conjoined their staffs and pointed it towards their barrier. This made a transparent wall of energy that was being used to push forward. Her intentions were to push it all the way to Neri to severely cripple her, which would knock her out on contact; however, this stunt over-exerted her body. As a result, this tactic was impossible; however, her body started to undergo a transformation while she was pushing herself beyond her limitations. Her paladin armor turned gold and had a few azure gems lying all over. The staff became more like a scepter in appearance, fully sporting the Haos emblem at its hilt. Her belt became outfitted with all six attribute symbols.

Even with this evolution, the best she could do was forcefully push the shield all the way up to the center of the field where she was able to disperse the attack altogether, but it had costed her the remains of her reserves. The clones disappeared back into her body as she tried her best not to tip over after stumbling. "So close...yet so far..." She gripped her scepter with both hands to keep her footing, heavily relying on it to keep her balance. There was nothing keeping Tracy's life gauge afloat though.

"Alana...Hydranoid...I'm sorry..." Tracy knelt beside the broken Alana to help her recover, disregarding any comments from Yita entirely.

[Alana Cortese]

"Oh no..." Hydranoid was shocked to see Skystar run out of gas after staging such a comeback. It was more than he had done for sure since Neri purposely took him out of the battle early. He then looked back at Alana who was suffering depression to the extreme, which was something he was not pleased to see. Despite having zero problems with the battle in terms of his health, he knew he was going to burn out thanks to the power-sapping poison Neri injected into his system. Knowing that he had got put in checkmate, he stopped caring about the brawl entirely; although, he was visibly mad that people would know about how a Bakugan as mighty as he was gets beaten by that cat even though he had numbers on his side. "I will have my vengeance," Hydranoid roared before returning to ball form.

Alana's Life Gauge: 0%

Hydranoid rolled over to the downed Alana to where she could see him. The defeat was hardly what she was worried about at that point. She was very prepared to kill someone in particular. That helped her accept Tracy's support for what it was while Yita offered them some hateful words before laughing her way out of their presence. "Fuck her...I'm done dealing with this. It ends today..." she mumbled, knowing that the Alana that lost the battle was far from the brawler she was supposed to be, and there was only one person to blame for that amount of pain.

[Noland Hardy]

"Spartans..." That was the only word that went through Noland's head when he became aware of his new stalker. The antagonism involved was identical to the ones heard from both Damian and Jamal when he and Allen fought them. It wasn't difficult to connect the dots and realize that the Resistors were being targeted by a group who knew how to push their buttons. "So here's what I gather from all of that. You both got your asses kicked by an unknown person who happens to be obsessed with me. Instead of being angry with yourselves for allowing one person to beat both of you, you suddenly want to make it my fault when she starts talking about the unmentionable regardless of the fact that I don't even know who this person is, which you never asked me about before you started bitching. Did I get all of that right?"

Drago hopped on his shoulder and knew that Noland was about to speak his mind. "Noland...please...that's enough. There's no need to waste your breath on them. They are an incurable ignorance," Drago suggested to him without caring about what anyone else thought about his choice of words. "I've had enough of every single one of you," he announced before showing the same level of anger Alana and Tracy approached him with as if he was ready to fight. "Don't try to cry for Allen's help this time, sweetheart. You want me? Come get me."

[Yita Aileen Nyx]

Neri licks her paws, cleaning herself for the 3rd time already after the battle as she listens to the conversation, much like Yita was doing as she holds in her hand a plush doll that resembled someone. She swipes the paw over her ear as she began to speak, “So what now?” The cat asks as she then stops cleaning herself and looks up.

The love-crazed girl gets up from leaning against the pinball machine, “Well, looks like that’s our cue.” Yita hums in response to her feline partner, stroking the red-haired plush doll before putting the plush doll into her pocket as she starts to walk towards the small group of resistors, Neri hopping off the pinball machine with ease and following her blue partner being not too far behind. “Now now Alana, I admire what you did there in the doom dimension, I really do.” She says in a sickly sweet tone as she gets closer to the group with every step she took, “But to be all honest, you should have stayed there.”

Once she was close enough to the group, or rather a red-haired male, she grabs him by the collar of his shirt and pulls Noland toward her, giving him a full blown kiss on the lips. After a few seconds of that she pulls back and looks over at Alana and Tracy with a smirk, “Because he’s mine.” Yita lets go of Noland's shirt and looks over at Neri, "I suppose now we should take our leave." Neri gives a nod as she shofts to her monster form in a soft glow of blue light that lasted for a second. Yita skips to Neri's side before hopping onto the feline's back and turns back to look at the group of resistors. Her left hand holding onto her bakugan's fur as she holds up her right hand to wave at the small group of resistors.

"Till next time, ta-ta!~"

And with that she taps Neri's side and the feline went running off, leaping into some blue portal that was made out of pixels that appeared before them with a wave of Yita's arm, closing as they went through.

[Noland Hardy]

Noland's face was completely still. The shock of being violated out of nowhere was clearly displayed on his face even after Yita left. The mind-boggling factor cycling through his thoughts wasn't about being kissed by her. He was more concerned about how long he was being watched, and how she can suddenly claim him the first time they saw each other face-to-face. The kiss was creepy, but the stalking was creepier. His response to the situation was to just say nothing considering the looks on Alana and Tracy's faces didn't depict them as being pleased about what was just done to him in front of them.

Drago shared this same feeling at first, but he started thinking the situation was funny when he saw how angry the girls looked. He had to try really hard to not burst into uncontrollable laughter, which was more difficult to do when they had probably heard him snicker after making eye contact. He floated off of Noland to get close to their faces. He looked at them close-up for a few seconds before finally speaking up. "I sense an extreme amount of butthurt coming from you two. You got completely destroyed by that girl...twice," Drago instigated, "I wonder whose fault that is..."

[Alana Cortese]

"So war IS what you desire then," Hydranoid sighed in response. Alana was too emotionally crushed to look Noland in the face at that point. Hearing Drago talk to her like that made her want to swat him out of the air, which she did try to do when her frustration reached its peak, but was narrowly dodged by the dragonoid. "She's...she's right...about everything..." she depressingly muttered. "Why did you go through that much trouble to save me when you brought my worst nightmares back here...?" She stormed past Noland to walk out of the complex, and she didn't look back.

Tracy's feelings were in Alana's corner in this situation. The original Resistors were essentially disbanded thanks to this debacle, and the arrival of the Spartans only aggravated this disturbance. She tried to calm herself down enough to speak to Noland from a spectator's perspective, but the image of Yita kissing Noland repeatedly tortured her conscience despite seemingly having a rivalry with Alana (and possibly Seiki) in terms of acquiring his affection. "You've changed...a lot..." Tracy realized. As she looked at Noland, a silhouette of Tank and Gladion in their egotistical personas prior to their meeting with the Master Blaze appeared next to them, almost like Tracy was now comparing the two champions side by side.

[Noland Hardy]
