Vince got more serious than ever with what he had to say next. The mentioning of his and Nero's situation was enough to want to ensure Noland doesn't go through the same situation.
"What happened with Andrew can happen with anyone, including you," he warned. "A lot can happen when someone's heart is broken. From my point of view, heartbroken people are worse than the sick and twisted masterminds you and I have beaten day in and day out. These are the kind who know what they're doing is the wrong thing to do, but they convince themselves that there is no other opportunity to get things right and they do it anyway. They'll try to get others to see the so-called righteousness of their actions and will destroy anyone who doesn't think so, like you've seen with Andrew, the Dharaknoid, and...Alana."
"I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but the only reason why we have hate is because we love too much. That makes the mistake of messing up by them even greater than becoming attached to them in the first place." He approached his son and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Alana can break you...you know that, and I know it. I know you're going to do what you think is the appropriate thing to do, but as your father, I will tell you when something shouldn't be the way it is because I've been there. And what I saw from Alana...just isn't right."
