Karen was stunned by Alana's sudden apologetic nature. She approached Alana and gave her a warm hug. She wanted to release that burden off of her if she could. It was something Alana shouldn't have to feel guilty for anymore.
"You don't have to apologize to me. I betrayed you all for doing what I did anyway, so I was asking for one of you to end my life before I looked at you with the same deadly stare," Karen admitted. "I don't want to make excuses for it by saying I did it to spare everyone else the torture of following Fury. Maybe it was because of how afraid I already was and that I saw nowhere else to go. Regardless, you and I are no longer his puppet anymore, so we're free to wander wherever we'd like to for our own interests."
Amir put his arm around Karen's shoulder as he agreed with the proceedings. "Like watching them from afar maybe?" He was pushed away by Karen, leading to him looking at the duo with an embarrassed, but playful look on his face. "I deserve that for what happened while we were alive."
"You're lucky you can't be killed again," she sternly said. She quickly changed that to a smile and assured Alana that they'd meet again someday. "I'll always be watching, Alana. I promise. Give Tracy my regards too. Oh, and one last thing. It'd be a good idea to cheer Noland on in his battle with the leader of the Legendary Soldiers. He's going to need all the help he can get. Okay? See ya later." Both Karen and Amir disappeared in a bright blue and green light respectively. They were free to move on now and watch over Alana and Markus like they wanted to.

The head scientist walked back in the throne room with one of the completed Bakugan that Dasia ordered him to construct. It was a spider, having the same appearance of a Hurranian.
"Ma'am, here it is," he announced. "One Bakugan with Gargulion and Donovan's battle data, at your service."
"Wh-what!? You let that thing walk through the palace!?" Dasia asked, alarmed that he would do such a thing.
"You never said I couldn't take it for a walk, ma'am."
"You're very funny. So what are you calling it?"
"MAC Spider, but why did you give it this frame if it only has six legs as opposed to the usual eight?"
"Okay, smart one. Let's just forget about that detail and move onto what I need you to do with it." Dasia inspected the MAC Spider a bit closer. She saw the optical sensor on its head that gave it extended vision. She also saw that each leg was barbed, each armed with poison-tipped needles that were designed to puncture the sturdiest surfaces. "Okay. Come here."
The head scientist approached Dasia. Once he was close enough to her, she grabbed him by the hand and began speaking to him through the same telepathic manner she used the previous time.
"I want this Bakugan placed in the Gamma City ruins in isolation. It will do everything it's supposed to do down there. I want that to be done immediately when we're done talking. Understood?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"Once that's done, continue monitoring Boriates and Dryoid just to make sure there aren't any problems with the construction process."
"Oh, about that. I forgot to mention to you that Boriates had also used Siege's battle data from when Alana was posing as Karen. Noland's data with Krakix is also available. Would you like him to be included in the mix with Drago and Helios?"
"I'd love that. Make it happen and I might just let you take me out."
"I will definitely see to it that it gets done."
Dasia was finished briefing him after that was said, but one more thing came to mind before she let him go. "Does X suspect anything?"
"No, ma'am. I don't think he knows what's really going on here. Neither do I."
"Let's keep it that way." Dasia then dismissed him and MAC Spider from the room, praying that she doesn't see the Bakugan again in the palace.
