That pretty much ruined the moment for Jamal. Hearing that Dasia was bending over from a threat with all that they have worried him to the core. The fact that she's hiding the exact threat is even more worrisome.
"I've been meaning to pay a certain member of the Resistors a visit for a while," Jamal reminded himself,
"Which isn't very important," Tec added.
"I'm just confused that you're withholding the risks involved. So what if I don't feel like fighting any of them? I think you can let me know about the risks involved just this once. I have treated you like a princess unlike certain people; it's the least you can do for me if our lives are on the line."

Dasia shook her head at the thought that any of the Spartans would reject what she's telling them to do, whether it's for not having a problem with the Resistors or not allowing themselves to be told what to do by a villain.
"Jamal, the last thing you and everyone else would want to do is deny me my wish this time. This isn't an ordinary situation. I don't tell you the risks because they shouldn't even be in our minds as we fight. I don't want these terrible things to be a distraction to you, because they will. The particular threats that were made are horrifying, and it's made even more horrifying that there's credible evidence that states he can do these things. He knows more about us than he should know, and that's because the Hurranians told him...everything."
"But since you want to know so bad, I'm going to tell you every SINGLE detail. All of you will have to fight the Resistors in a competitive match, and if you make the mistake of losing or not showing up, whatever he threatened you with will get done, and it applies to every single one of you. Roxy told me to keep this a secret from everyone, but she was a victim of sexual assault when she was younger. Kyuki cannot wait to revive the specific individuals who did it so they could repeatedly do it until she dies, and he'll force the person who watched to look at it to repeat history. He promised to laugh at each second of it."
"Yita and Niko only experienced a quarter of what Damian had to go through, but Kyuki doesn't care. He knows that Neri is an artificial Bakugan engineered by Yita herself, so he'll try to possess her and add her knowledge to his to improve on his experimentation of different beings. Niko's is not only just as dangerous, but even sadder. Without Donovan being there for her, she'll never be able to go to sleep since she has the unfortunate curse of having her terrible memories etched into her brain. Not only will he steal her powers to have her destroy herself from the inside-out, but he'll take that ability for the Hurranians to use that can serve as another debilitating effect from infection; it'll be incurable at that point."
"Deon had ties to numerous organizations here and on Earth. Say what you want about him for only being strong when stepping on others, but he took down prominent figures across both planets. I may not even be here right now if it weren't for him. Regardless, Kyuki is aware of those relationships and plans to use them to bolster his forces, but not before confronting his siblings to remind Deon why he shouldn't have left."
"You...you'd better hope for your sake that you win. You're already aware of the situation at Charlie Town with the Hurranians constantly bugging them. That rough attitude needed for survival...those poor children....do I really need to say it?"
"And Damian...I just...Jamal, I'm scared..."

Jamal's attentiveness was due to the fact that Dasia sounded very disturbed by what was going to happen to each of the Spartans should they incur Kyuki's wrath. How couldn't he, especially after hearing how nasty Roxy's punishment would be? If everything else except for that one were taken away, you could truly determine Kyuki's character without listening to a single word he says. It truly makes a sane person wonder how a human could fall that low and think it's funny.
Jamal placed his hand on top of Dasia's to try to get her to calm down, provided she doesn't hit him for making a very obvious move. He didn't want to be stuck on that since he knew when to take things seriously, so he kept it that way.
"We're appointed to you so you don't have to be afraid. Let us bear the weight of all of this. It's okay."

The only reason why Dasia was allowing Jamal to do that was because he looked like he genuinely wanted to comfort her and she'd be a jerk to tell him not to do that. Still, the thought of him getting any ideas from that was quite disturbing.
"Consider yourselves lucky that Damian already killed his own parents. He eliminated the one thing that would have given him the incentive not to fight. Kyuki has an even better plan for his case..."
"That girl you're both friends with, this "Ebony" girl I've heard you two talking about, the one with the terminal illness... The Huranians are a famine by themselves, but learning how to simulate a rare disease like that... You know what will happen if she's..."

"I understand," Jamal acknowledged to cut her off. He knew the direction that threat was going. He didn't need to hear more of it; he didn't want to.
"Let's be honest with each other here. Some, if not all, of the things you told me just now is going to happen. It has nothing to do with whether we win or lose. There's too many positives in what Kyuki would gain by acting on these things, so to trust a man like that would be no different than trusting a masked person that they're doing things for our own good. You have mechanical Bakugan that can serve as a buffer. I suggest you and Prince Xavier have them readily accessible just in case. Deon's an expert in take-downs; if we spot him, we'll get him. Someone has to do it sooner or later. Why not now?"
"Oh, and before I forget, did he say anything about the Resistors receiving identical threats since we're being forced into a duel with them?"

"I was hoping you weren't going to say that, but...it would be a good idea to use them," Dasia accepted. She wasn't quite sure how she was going to handle that just yet, but it was something worth thinking about.
"As for the Resistors, I have no idea, but one of you should get in contact with them to see what kind of threats are being made. I'd be careful with sharing information on what's going to happen to us unless they're willing to give up some information too. Remember that Kyuki is among the same race of beings who allowed that masked man refuge. We have to be extra careful about what we say and do from this point forward. If you tell them what we know and don't report anything from their side, I'm going to hurt you. I'm counting on you to do the right thing."

Returning back to the conversation with the Resistors, Jamal relayed every portion of what he remembered hearing from Dasia minus the specific threats made to them per Dasia's instruction.
"So that's what happened," Jamal finished.
"Hey, Jamal. Do you mind telling everyone how that 'date' ended?" Tec teased.
"I mind very much," Jamal responded. Getting back to the matter at hand, "Now, Resistors. With the present information at hand, our losses are going to cause some gruesome activity. You could put us into a grave situation as could we to you. I know it's not very smart to know what we're about to inflict upon each other since I'm sure it's not in our best interests as a majority to inflict this kind of harm, but we would like to know what's headed your way in exchange for what's going to happen to us. You help us help you is essentially what I'm getting at."

Tracy was about as skeptical of Jamal's trustworthiness as everyone else was. They were hoping one of them would be dumb enough to tell them outright so they didn't have to be at a standoff with who does what first and if that side can trust the other to follow suit. The Spartans did many things that were not very trustworthy. That had to be taken into consideration.
"I'm sure it wasn't in your best interest to come to our planet and mess with us," Tracy sarcastically insulted, showing her disbelief in Jamal's words. "I know someone here is going to say that this shouldn't matter since these threats are too serious to let all of our differences affect what's going on now, but you're asking us to trust you with sensitive information like the ones we're thinking about now. Your past actions as a whole broke that trust, so if you really want to help us, then I think you should show your sincerity by giving us the scoop first."

"I know, right? We sure didn't come here to do just that."
Damian snickered at the thought that Tracy thought that the information exchange would come as a sign of wanting to help the Resistors. It didn't make much logical sense when it's actually thought about.
"I can tell by the look on your face that you've waited a while to show that you were actually smart and useful, whatever your name is," Damian noticed. He forgot her name, not that he actually wanted to remember it in the first place.
"If you're smart enough to know that these threats are at such a high level, then what's the use of acting difficult? If you're so butthurt about getting your ass kicked, then we can end this discussion altogether. Entertaining you for this long should've already counted for something. We don't need someone like you going in and ruining everything."

Markus' eyes turned their sight towards Damian in an instant once he heard him talk that way to Tracy. Little did they know, that outburst was the reason why Tracy even said anything to begin with.
"Someone like her? Dang..." Gargulion gasped. "So much disrespect. You're going to take that from this guy?"
Markus definitely wasn't having any of that kind of talk going down in front of him.
"See? That's what she was talking about. You didn't have to be that nasty about it," Markus criticized. "Yeah, you do have a point that we should've put our differences aside. Unfortunately for a disrespectful son of a bitch like yourself, I happen to prefer collaborating with people that actually care for and respect each others' existences and feelings. Tracy has a name and she's not insignificant as you made her sound like. Show her some respect."

Roxy became a little more peeved at Markus' defense of Tracy than she normally would have. Her sight was deadlocked on him at that moment. She struggled so hard not to jump across the field and show him the full weight of her anger.
"Oh, wow. Markus is actually defending someone who is right next to him?" Roxy was obviously getting flashbacks she didn't want, the one where he had the choice to do an identical favor for her and ran like a crybaby.
"I'm jealous," she expressed in a very cold tone. Her will to not let Markus live that one down was more than the Hurranians could keep down, even if they threatened to repeat what she went through.
Aquarius was beginning to sense where this confrontation was going. This was about to blow up into something huge, one thing she definitely wanted no part of.
"Um...everyone...can't we all be friends?" Aquarius wondered, looking around to see who was going to get angry next.

Knowing how much that incident between Markus and Roxy affected the former from the test with Excedra, Alana was deeply sorry for how Markus was still getting hammered with guilt only to have her continuously aggravate it.
"Oh, boo-hoo. You were touched by someone other than him. How disappointing," Alana blurted out, making many implications there. "Look, lady. He was DEPRESSED over being unable to help you. It's not because he didn't want to. What else do you want him to do? It's already done and over with! Let the man live!"
Hydranoid was cackling to himself as all of this was going down. He anticipated a brawl, and he was more than eager to get that under way. "No. One. Ruin. This," Hydranoid instructed. "This is starting to get good."

YITA AILEEN NYX Hao "Spartan" "Hm... Sounds a lot like someone I know," Yita hums in a teasing manner, her comment directed to the person who had just spoken. As careless as she seemed to be, she knew that she was treading on thin ice. Neri sat off towards the side, away from the attention. Knowing her partner, she was going to spark up a scene, and the feline just didn't feel like being in the middle of it at the moment.
She saunters up beside Alana and slinks her arm around her shoulder. "You were depressed too over an incident similar to his." She then proceeds to lean in towards her ear to whisper, "You killed Karen after all." Yita allows her arm to linger around Alana's neck for a moment before she walks off to where Neri was at.
"Honestly, you should make use of your own suggestions. It's already done and over with, she's dead. There really isn't anything you can do." "I'l continue to watch over my darling." ► kaigra ◄

Post by Seiki Maki on Nov 13, 2016 9:10:49 GMT -5
A pair of amber eyes narrow. Seiki had been watching quietly off to the side until now with Ahio as a small bird, perched on her shoulder. This conversation was beginning to get out of hand. Stepping out for her secluded spot off to the side. "So you're the one who has been harassing Noland personally, and the reason why Alana and Tracy were rather upset the other day," She mumbles, walking towards the haos spartan. Rather than her usual dull eyes, there was a spark seen within them.
She walks up to Yita and stares her down. "Seriously, how come a thirsty whore like you continues to poke your nose where it doesn't belong?" She leans in a little closer, the fire in her eyes growing. "This kind of thing obviously doesn't involve you, Noland being "your dearest" is no good excuse."
Seiki then steps back and shifts her hard gaze onto the rest of the Spartans, "Why did you guys even bother appearing in this mess the first place?" ulla

Post by Deon Irvine on Nov 19, 2016 4:07:03 GMT -5
Resistors and Spartan continued to go at it. They had many bad things on their mind and they wanted to shout it at one another. Even Deon had such thoughts and wanted to join the argument, but unlike the rest, he was at least thinking about something else as well. "Considering you are a special little snowflake who always must be saved by Master Blaze and be given pats on the back so you wouldn't kill yourself I doubt you have any right to call a Spartan a thirsty whore." Deon thought, but he did not really want to say it to Seiki because that would just mean they would be trapped in a circle and nothing would be worked out there. He was really annoyed that everyone just dropped the important event that is soon about to unfold and they are all arguing over something not even comparable to what is going to happen.
"Will you SHUT UP!?" Deon shouted at everyone over there unable to see the point of this whole argument. "Is this your idea of working things out?!" He angrily commented on their behavior. "There is a maniac out there. A MANIAC! A maniac who intends to kill every one of us. And what are you doing!!!? Holding a stand-up comedy over here."
"This is much bigger than all of our personal problems and thoughts. There is NO TIME for this. No time at all. So stop wasting time and just do what we're supposed to do here and now, you idiots." Deon angrily says hoping they would finally stop with this and continue with their original business over here.
