Episode 32: Winds of Change

Deon did not enjoy his win.
Seriously, what is there to enjoy?
It is just a job forced on him by Dasia and Kyuki.
And that win means nothing; if Kyuki decides to do what he said he would if Deon lost he could do it regardless of this win or not. What is stopping him? He is a terrorist; he can't be trusted to fulfill his promises.

Having heard Seiki talk he shrugs. "Sure, kid, whatever you say."
He can't come to understand reasons behind what she said.
She is approving his superiority? That behavior is not known to Deon; he is used to opponents who no matter they lost they will continue denying victor's superiority.
He had never witnessed Damian lose, but he imagines that if Damian lost he would act like a sore loser.
Seiki not being a sore loser is actually a refreshment.

As he turns back and walks away from the Arena...
"Are you happy now, pacifists!? There you go! Now you can enjoy psychopath's promise that none of your let's-call-them-kids will get killed." He yells at his 'parents'. The way they acted during the brawl disgusted him. They so foolishly believe Kyuki will not do anything just because Deon have won. Believing the psychopath... truly idiotic.

Kyuki watched the entire battle.
He did not enjoy it, but did not hate it either.
Seeing a Resistor get squashed was a nice change.
Not that he hoped Deon would win either.
First fight and Resistor lost, but he was not surprised; if someone had to lose among them it had to be Seiki. As far as Kyuki was concerned, she was the weakest link and soon she will experience the punishment behind this.

Hearing Deon's shouts Kyuki smiles a bit. "Heh... smart cookie, but that depends on you. If I decide to punish the victor it will be their fault..." Kyuki knows that on this battlefield there are going to be misunderstandings and a lot of bad luck; both for victors and losers.

"It was expected she would lose... *sigh* Not that there was much hope for her to begin with." Kyuki whispers to himself knowing that Seiki is getting the privilege of being punished first among the losers. Truly enjoyable.

As he watches preparations for the second brawl two people approach him silently from the back. One is wearing a dark-purple ritual robe of some sort and his face is covered with a mask resembling face of Frosch's humanoid form.
Other person is a woman with striking white hair and tidy white lab coat. Woman from the raid in Miami; Fina, Kyuki's deceased and revived wife. She can be more dangerous than Kyuki because of her imagination. Kyuki turns to her and speaks: "You have arrived. Has Belial been successfully deployed?" Woman stares at him and a slight smirk appears on her face. "Yes. Admiral will be with us, soon." She replies and joins Kyuki to watch the brawl along with the masked individual.
