Gorem had the perfect set up for a finishing blow. All he had to do was get within punching range of the now downed Vulcan. There was just one issue with that plan. The moment Gorem went to advance towards his opponent, his entire body seized up. Gore was now paralyzed by his own abilities drawback.
Allen stood there, unable to believe what was happening. Neither of the bakugan were turning back to ball form, but they couldn't make a move to end the battle. After all that, it could only be called a draw.
" do you know what they say about a fight Jamal?" Allen asked a all important question. It wouldn't change the brawl, but it would explain his change of heart regarding his opponent." When two real fighters lock up in battle, they aren't just battling physically. They battle their souls as well. The strongest body and will take the victory. And well, neither of us lost, so that must mean one is as strong as the other. Jamal, make sure you do one thing though..."
Allen then pointed at Jamal, indicating that what he was about to say was important. He had all the respect in the world for his opponent now. All he had to do to convey that was say two words."... don't lose."

"Really...? So that's how you look at it...?" Jamal had to soak this one in. This feeling that Allen was conveying to him must have been why brawlers fight each other for sport. This was why they participated in competitions. The connection that this type of activity brought was very different from what it felt like to be brawling because it was his job to be strong.
"Allen..." Jamal nodded in acceptance of Allen's word and gave him a smile. "You surprise me. I doubt we'd have to tell each other not to lose. You have extraordinary determination, even better than mine. I know you're not going to lose. Perhaps this forced gathering was what we needed just to show us that the opposing side isn't all bad."
Even though he had those kind words to say, this was still a "competition," one which carries hefty fines for those who do manage to lose. "The Resistors are lucky to have someone of your skill set, Allen. I'm sorry that this is the way things have to be carried out, but someone apparently made the mistake of issuing this bastard a 'medical' license."

Kyuki has been walking through the dark corridors for some time now. He has been thinking about the recent events that happened inside Chrono Elite and that nearly caused uproar that might have ended badly for Kyuki's use of this terrorist organization. Cult of the Triad has been causing problems for his work for some time, but now they have crossed one line they should have never crossed. Except for dealing with Silver Knights and Eden, Kyuki now has to set offensive and defensive against Cult of The Triad. That business is quite hard and demanding considering they are a branch of Chrono Elite and attacking them would mean attacking the entire organization. Kyuki plans to lead them to their own destruction so he would not be targeted by Chrono Elite, but no efficient method comes to mind yet.
"Now then..." He mumbles and takes his tablet out of the pocket to view what is going on in the Arena. For about 4-5 minutes he has been watching this fight between two Subterra brawlers; Allen and Jamal. Their fight indeed has been intense, but Kyuki did not care that much for it.
He left Fina down there in the public to disguise herself, so Keto and Daniel would not recognize her. She has been analyzing the battles from there. Data from those battles are supposedly going to be used to create something new... aside from new artificial Bakugans, something 'really new' has been planned by Kyuki. And these new things are not going to be used against Resistor and Spartans but Silver Knights and Cult of the Triad; they are the enemy number 1.
Allen's and Jamal's main trait when it comes to battles are their Bakugan's defensive power and defensive abilities. Data from that would definitely be useful in creation of defensive bio-Bakugans and mechanical Bakugans and also for defensive trait of the new system Kyuki is creating for battle against Silver Knights.
"I am glad at how pathetic this is..." He looks at two Subterra brawlers who are unable to do anything anymore. Their Bakugans have reached their limits and cannot move an inch anymore. By Kyuki's standards, those abilities and play styles should not exhaust a Bakugan so quickly. "Seems like soil-lovers would need a bit more training... too bad they won't have time." He says while looking at his tablet. As always, he never has anything 'positive' to say about them... well, it is not a surprise. For any brawler out there, those fights were impressive, but Kyuki does not particularly care about fighting anyway. Resistors and Spartans fell right into his trap the moment they stepped in the Arena; data of their Bakugans would be used by Fina to create even worse things than infamous Traqdrach.
And punishments he prepared for the losers... are not for his personal amusement. Those are merely distractions from something that is going on right now. When everyone is concentrated on fighting Hurranians that 'something' will emerge.
As for Allen and Jamal, their fight was a draw. Being a merciless man, it would be assumed he is going to punish them both, but it might be interesting if the next fight decides who will and who will not get punished. Battle between two Pyrus brawlers.
