Oberus was quick to chase the split mechanical after being hit by such a bizarre-feeling attack. The masked's person's intervention wasn't necessary, but it wasn't unwelcome. The blow Hades inflicted was more than detrimental.
"H-hey! I didn't need any help! I was just about to reflect that blast!" Oberus screeched. Realistically, if Oberus did that, Slipstream would have been destroyed. The "better safe than sorry" approach may cause them all some problems later.
Oberus chased the Aluze unit as she saw that one possessed the higher threat level. This was a deceptive trick that she pulled on Altair since she knew that thing was acting as a bodyguard.
"Split Echo!" Oberus began moving so fast that she left afterimages of herself. Many flew past both Aluze and Altair so they could not see where Oberus would be coming from. Both mechs were suddenly slammed towards the surface by a violent shockwave.

Aluze and Altair were horribly disfigured from the impact. It was time to finish them off.
"Awww. You're too kind. You delivered these cowards without me having to ask you for them. I truly appreciate it. I'll take it from here." The masked person taking the reigns from a Legendary Soldier was ballsy, but there was a redeeming factor. With him/her, Altair and Aluze were going to be erased in an instant.
"Hades, you know what to do," the masked person signaled. Hades lifted itself off of the ground and levitated there using its thrusters. It rotated in place to produce an attractive force. Both Altair and Aluze were pulled inward where they were crushed by this overwhelming power. The sudden repulsiveness of the force when they reached their destination obliterated what was left of them.
"Ah, there we go. Farewell to the most dangerous Bakugan the Hurranians had." He/she looked at the descending Oberus with a curious eye. "That was Jimmy John's faster than fast. You were great up there."

Oberus glared at this masked person for the obvious attempt at making fun of her for taking so long with this evasive planetary defense system. It wasn't like Hades would have done any better. All it did was snipe it while it was trying to shoot up Oberus.
"Oh, shut up!" Oberus yelled. "That was way faster than the idea you came up with the last time you were here! I didn't even have to run away!"
Oberus heard the sound of incoming Hurranians. They probably wanted to rebuild their robot masters. It could be heard coming from all directions of that ruined section of the city, all thanks to the masked person's reckless path of destruction he/she likes to leave behind.
"Multi Form!" Oberus pointed her wings down towards the ground where a green portal opened up. Another Oberus emerged from it and clung to Hades. The actual Oberus got in the masked person's face afterwards to tell him/her about her intentions.
"Destroy that, and your Hades is gone," Oberus threatened with a confident smile. She chuckled before zipping off towards Daniel's location to provide her assistance.

"Hmph...just by saying that, I already know that you want Hades to remain active for extra firepower," the masked person commented on Oberus' threat.
Haded deployed it's S.H.R.E.D.D.E.R. units to scan the Oberus that was latched on its shoulders. There were no signs of explosives contained within the copy, but there was something awfully peculiar about it. It was probably best not to tamper with it in case it was anything supernaturally dangerous. The Legendary Soldiers didn't seem to joke around when they were serious.
"It's a shame they still believe I mean any harm. I'm just a guy in a mask trying to save the world. Oh well." There was a loud explosion that erupted to the northwest direction of where Hades and the masked person were standing. The Hurranians started closing in on his position to, forming multiple Bakugan for him/her to go against.
"Hm...I should probably go check that out."

Markus was still cruising on Gargulion as they neared MAC Spider's location. The only issue here was the EMP Slipstream had fired earlier. Had it not been for Gargulion's intervention, Markus' BrawlX would not have been safe.
"That EMP just knocked out all of the power in this area..." Markus observed. All of the lights were off. This may get worse with time as the sun was starting to set. Markus shouldn't be complaining about that too much since that should be his natural setting, with Darkus being his attribute of choice. One would then have to factor in everyone else who was not as accustomed to this environment as he was.
Markus could then feel a vibration on his BrawlX. The bluetooth capabilities of the device was linked to his phone, allowing him to easily answer this call without looking away from the road.
"Hello?" Markus answered with curiosity. Who could be calling him on this planet?

"H-Hello!? Marku-" Roxy's voice became distorted. The service was Verizon-level bad in this location due to MAC Spider's presence interfering with the connection.
"Hey, you! Yeah, you, with the shaggy hair!" some mechanical-sounding creature had said, more than likely MAC Spider. It had to be. The connection became sparkly clean when it started talking. "I'm going to be making this hoe my bitch all year! She will be too busy screaming in agony over her being so freaking tight, so she will not be able to talk right now. Please leave a message after the beep."
"Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-"

Markus was VERY close to loosing his composure after hearing that. Judging by the way whoever made those statements said it and the never-ending beep, it thought this was funny. Anyone could easily tell when Markus was seething in rage. The red coloring appearing across his face and the heavier breathing said it all.
"Markus!" Gargulion abruptly called out.
"My attitude doesn't matter. What matters now is Kyuki," Markus somewhat mumbled. "I'll kill him and everyone who is connected to him...every last one of them..."
This was a battle Gargulion was not going to win with Markus. If he was angry, he shall be angry. They could only hope sane decisions are made later on when it comes down to the wire.
The duo promptly arrived at the sight of Apollonir's flare. It had to be one of the tallest buildings on the planet; it would probably be best to classify it as a tower. The exterior was nice and clean. The pristine windows that flowed throughout the 1,368 feet tower were glittering with the brilliance of Vestal architecture. The only blemish that completely ruined the look of the building was MAC Spider mooning Markus with its abdomen about halfway to the top. It then broke through a window and went inside the building, scaring the remaining workers who were just about to get off their shift.
"That spider is really pissing me off!" Markus declared. He pointed towards the point of entry. "Gargulion, let's go!"

"Hold up! Wait a minute!" Apollonir hollered from behind Gargulion. He landed right in front of the building. Vince dislodged himself from Apollonir with a backflip to land right beside Gargulion.
"It's good to see that the two of you are okay. I wasn't too sure what to think after someone discharged an EMP blast." Vince was referencing the loss of contact with Markus after the blast, for those who had forgotten.
"This structure is like an expansive pool of Hurranians. They're just swimming through here," Apollonir noted after scanning the building with his energy. "I suppose they've done so to keep me out of there. Blasted parasites!"
"Markus, it would seem like you are the only one here who can enter that building safely and avoid infection. The best the rest of us could do is level it, but that would kill Roxy too." This was such a smart plan made by the Hurranians. "You need to remain cloaked as long as you can. Do not go in there from the physical world."
"And make it quick. I detect explosives being set around the building."
"What!?" Vince didn't have time to think about a solution to that one. If someone was about to blow this place up, then what good would Markus do going in there as a shadow if he can't even touch his opponent? "This might be-"

"Shut the fuck up!" The masked person with the Hades descended down on the area right when Apollonir made that announcement. The suggestion of telling Markus to back out was more than enough to set him/her off.
"If you don't have the balls to go in there, then step aside. Let this man be a hero. Do not try to make Markus your next victim," he/she stated.
Looking at Markus with a focused look, the masked person began equipping Gargulion with the tools necessary to survive in this poisonous environment. Hades deployed its S.H.R.E.D.D.E.R. pods. The intention was to give Gargulion its energy so that he may have a personal barrier that deters any Hurranian from grabbing him, lest they want an eternal battle with radiation that kills them before contact. They attached themselves to Oberus' clone and Apollonir, siphoning their power levels. They then attached to Gargulion's body, giving him a serious amount of power.

"My next victim, huh? Interesting." Vince was very nonchalant about this allegation. He knew perfectly well what this masked person was referring to. The question was...why would this person even be aware of a so-called "victim" in this type of situation where the woman they love is trapped in a building ready to come down in flames?
"Hmph...your battle preparation is rash...but effective," Apollonir commented on the masked person's approach to this situation. It was almost as lethal as Vince's calm approach.
"What will you do then, Markus?"

This power increase would spare Gargulion from having to resort to the DNA Stimulus to remain relatively safe in there. The masked person did them all a favor, even if he/she didn't do so in the friendliest of manners. Markus was surprised that Apollonir even allowed his power to be taken, much less Oberus with her aggressive personality. Why was she clamped on Hades anyway?
"Hey...masked guy..." Markus turned around to formally address him. It would seem like he considered him/her an ally in this instance, as hard as that it is to believe. "Can you equip me with a pair of those pods as well? I'm going in there with Gargulion."
"And give us a boost while you're at it, please?"

The masked person was pleased with Markus' conviction. He knew the dangers involved, and he wasn't forsaking his belief that Roxy was someone that needed to be saved. He was ready to embark on this dangerous mission.
"As you wish," he/she accepted. Hades opened its canister and attached a couple of units across Markus' body, giving him the same form of protection that Gargulion would enjoy.
"This is how shit gets done when lives are on the line. There's no more chances for consideration. You Legendary Soldiers have had your chance. Now, it's our turn to do things our way." Hades grabbed Gargulion with all four arms. It was about to throw Gargulion like a quarterback would throw a football.
"Give that spider our regards, and don't leave any pieces behind," the masked person dictated. Hades precisely threw Gargulion towards the point of entry MAC Spider had used.

Markus and Gargulion entered the building in their shadowy form per Vince's instruction. The floor was littered with broken glass, burn marks, and holes that were presumably formed by a stabbing. It would seem like a battle was taking place, but the people here would never know that. The corpses all around them became the new additions to the Hurranians' toybox. They rose to their feet like zombies and were intent on stopping Markus, despite the fact that they were not even good enough to be considered fodder.
"Let's follow the trail, Gargulion. There's nothing more we can do for these people. They're gone..." Markus was intent on making sure Roxy didn't end up the same way.
"Got it." Along the path that had a lot of twists and turns, hinting at an irregular travel pattern, Gargulion stuck his head through walls to check the surrounding area beforehand. He decapitated a lot of his opponents by slicing their heads clean off of their bodies using Void Ripper, the technique that forms energy blades along his arms and hands.
He had even tricked several Hurranians into attacking him by voluntarily exiting the shadows, and then reentering the form when they attacked, causing them to unintentionally attack each other.
Then they arrived at a wide-open space, a large briefing room of some sort. Markus was instantly jaw-dropped. He was horrified at what he saw: a barrier, the annoying MAC Spider, and terrorists, Amir being one of them.
"He's really going through with this..." Seeing the punishment in motion was much different than hearing about it beforehand. Anyone with parents would know that. Gargulion attempted to go through the barrier, but the static field rejected him, even in the shadowy form.
"Dammit! It's another one of those abilities that can bypass it!" Gargulion cursed. The ability was deactivated from that contact. In doing so, they were made vulnerable to the Hurranians, but Hades' units were not allowing anything like that. Some directed their focused lasers towards varying locations on the floor. Electric pulses were seen popping up, indicating that Hades was targeting Hurranians scattered over the building. Once they felt like an adequate job was being done, all fire was directed towards the barrier in an attempt to bring it down.

MAC Spider knew Markus was there. It had wanted him to come all along. Now he shall bare witness to his greatest failure.
"Ha! You're too late. She's all mine now!" the spider bragged. It threw the webbed Roxy to the wall. Amir and his gang of underlings were already revived per the agreement. All that remained was for them to perform their magic.
"Roll call. Amir the Vampire, terrorist leader, check. Useless underlings, check. Boy in love, check. Annoying talking spider? Check. Okay. We're all here."
Amir summoned his Ventus Harpus while the underlings called on three Ravenoid - a Ventus, Pyrus, and Haos in that formation - to the field.
"Alright. Whip 'em out."

Kyuki was too close to getting his way here. It was almost like it was back then. Roxy was about to be taken advantage of in a sexually deadly way, and Markus was restricted to watching it happen due to this unusual barrier. Whatever was powering this barrier was undoubtedly strong. It seemed to be shaved off like a shell, and it was resistant to Gargulion's attempt to pass right through it
...Markus then realized that this spider may be a combination of Gargulion and Donovan...Go figure.
"Roxy! Hang on! I'm coming!" Markus punched the barrier out of frustration. A sparking sound caused him to immediately turn around.
"What's that?" Two Bakugan rose from the floor and took on a physical form. One was an Anchorsaur and one was a Hammersaur. Both Bakugan were dual attributed, utilizing both the Haos and Darkus attribute.
"Dark Angels...Daniel''s third in command from the past..." Two women appeared alongside those Bakugan. They looked like savages. Their skin was almost as pale as a Gundalian's. Markus remembers their voices to be extremely annoying, like witches stalking you with their broom just waiting to put you in their cauldron. Their Bakugan were exactly the same way. Imagine Noland and Allen fighting as a tag-team. That's how these terrorists fight, Anchorsaur being used for defense while Hammersaur is used for offense.
"Frame Split!" Gargulion willingly detached a good portion of his body until he was at his previous evolution's size. What this resulted in was another Gargulion of the same size being created. The newly-spawned Gargulion was in the Haos frame, a glowing, jewel-ridden bat body. The penalty in doing this was splitting Gargulion's power, but this situation called for it.
"Take that frame and fight them. I'll hold the line here!" Gargulion commanded.
Markus turned to face these terrorists head on with the Haos frame. He was hoping that Gargulion's strategy worked. There was a small window of opportunity now. "Okay. Go to work, Gargulion!" The Haos Gargulion got in a defensive stance as the Saur duo charged at him.
