Episode 42: Scorched Earth Policy

"...ugh..." Lydia mutters.

She attempts to stand up again, but pain takes over and puts her back on her knee. She breathes heavily and with each breath droplets of blood smear over her lips and drip down her chin. Her arms do not move at all- covered in that amount of bruises and cuts it is not surprising in the slightest. Virus probably cut some of her nerves and strategic muscle parts leaving her unable to use her arms at all. Her legs do not have as many cuts as arms, but are bruised as hell making it hard to keep her balance.

As if that was not horrible enough that large cut on her chest is like a freaking canyon or a geyser spewing blood out of it. Using self-recovery she was able to patch it up temporarily to cease the bleeding, but if she moves much it will burst open again. All that is making it very hard to breathe or talk- and concentrating on the fight is impossible. Seems that Virus is highly concerned about taking Lydia out first, giving her so many wounds. It might have something to do with the fact that she is not very good at fighting anyone.

Upon hearing familiar yelling she takes a slight turn. "Miss... Zeno...via..." Weak voice comes out of her mouth.

She cannot even talk properly with all that done to her. Tears begin to roll down her eyes now that she sees an actual Admiral being there- only person that might be able to stop this madness with Virus. But even Maria's condition does not look promising- she moves a bit slow and her appearance reminds of a piece of meat after a long meat-grinder session. "Miss... he is... back... Kyuki... awakened him..." Lydia can barely bring herself to say anything anymore. She  then takes a quick breath. "What... happened? Come... heal..." Lydia offers and Devilin quickly backs away from the fight letting Dante take over. Devilin switches to Angelight who forms a small orb of light that begins to shower sparkles over three brawlers and their Bakugans.

Maria comes closer and looks at Lydia.

Little girl went through a massacre. Such kind and caring soul forced to fight her own brother to death by an insane maniac. As soon as Maria sees her tears coming that quick she quickly gulps and turns her head aside a bit, trying not to keep eye-contact or she would probably start crying as well and she does not want to do that now- it is not time or place for expressing such emotions. "Poor girl... you're such mess and you still take care of others before yourself... I'm so sorry..." Maria thinks to herself as she struggles not to tear up on seeing what has become of kind little Lydia. She could not protect Lydia in any way... that is what makes her sad- if she was only a little faster.

"I had minor setbacks with Hurranians. Pay it no heed- I am fine now." Maria replies not wanting to worry Lydia right now- she worries too much as it is.

Hydra stands close to Maria. Her expression becomes grim and she roars angrily, filled with pure rage. "I'll make you pay..." She growls angrily at 'Daniel', who is responsible for this torturing madness.  Knowing what she should do Maria unbuttons and takes off her uniform, only now left in her shirt, and covers weakened Lydia with it. Considering the amount of her clothes being torn off during the fight Lydia would probably not feel comfortable about anyone seeing her half-naked and stabbed like a turkey on thanksgiving. She then turns towards 'Daniel' and takes a card out of her pocket ready to put him to his place.

Maria's intention is broken by series of loud sounds coming from the other room. Before she could even take a look at what is going on something flies out of the next room, flies across the battlefield and crashes into a pillar. Once it is still everyone can see it is a Silver Knight... his motionless corpse just falls over without any resistance. By the looks of it this Knight's arms, legs, neck, legs and fingers were broken. Like it was done to every part specifically. After that diabolic show sound of steps takes everyone's attention. Man with long white hair and a lab coat walks in dragging one person across the floor in each hand respectively. He then tosses them upwards and quickly grabs them by their necks. Loud cracking sounds come from that act before he tosses both bodies aside... both were Silver Knights.

"I'll pick that up later. I'm running out of fresh lab meat anyway." Kyuki says about the bodies he just present to everyone in his 'unique fashion'.

He then turns towards Maria and makes a devilish smile. "Ah, Zenovia. Apologies for the mess- I was planning to do this one outside, but Generals are making it very hard to move. Thank God you people are so generous to have all these 'doors' so I can just come in." Kyuki says referring to the countless holes and cracks left by the battle.

"I will not be bothering you too much today. I'm here to pick up the Deathcrown wielder and I'll be on my way." He announces as if he is expecting everyone to just handle over Daniel or as if Virus would just stand around and let Kyuki do this.
