The Legendary Soldiers were very aware of what the Hurranians were pulling on Vestal and on Earth. It has come to Vince's attention that there was another stunt being pulled that was even more dangerous than the current operations. On Apollonir's back, Vince was rushing to a preset destination to put a screeching halt to an action that will only spur Dasia and Kyuki into further action.

While Apollonir was zipping through the sky, Vince was in tow, trying to get a grasp on what was going on. He hoped he'll get lucky for Apollonir to fully explain this to him on the way since Vince was not aware of what the Legendary Soldiers knew.
"Is it really okay that we're not present at either organization's headquarters while they're at war?" Vince wondered.
"Eden will pull through with Lars Lion and Clayf in the mix. As for the Silver Knights...there are some problematic weapons being used against Frosch and Excedra to divert their attention. One of them is something called Traqdrach. I'm not entirely sure what this thing is, but it along with its forces are giving the two slight difficulty, especially when there aren't any Bakugan near them who can provide the necessary help."
"So you're confident that they can handle it by themselves?"
"Although the circumstances have been changed through the introduction of the Hurranians, they should be able to destroy it, provided that the Admiral holds up her end of the bargain. I believe she will though. Her Ares is getting close to Frosch's strength."
"Good to know, but...I'm sure there's a reason why you haven't gone there to destroy them yourself."
"Indeed. Oberus' reconnaissance has identified something far worse than what's going on at these headquarters. If what's about to happen is allowed, then forget about putting up a fight. We're all going to die, including us."

"I'm all ears," Vince signaled, ready to hear what this plan actually was.
"It goes back to what you told me, the details surrounding Kyuki's acquisition of something called the God's Tear."
"Is it real, you know...those fairy tales Maria went on about?"
"...Yeah..."
"You're kidding."
"There are some inconsistencies with what the current generation knows about the item, but...that's not important. What is important is what the God's Tear is composed of. With each key, there is a lock. This lock I'm speaking of is meant for...Fury."
"So you and the other Soldiers aren't the only locks for him then?"
"We're reinforcing that lock, but we didn't create it. The one who did create that key is Drago and I's ancestor: the original Dragonoid. That key has remnants of his power. It is along the same lines as our Switch Code; it can open the door..."
"So you're saying that someone who has this key can get into the chamber that houses the BT System...and they can use it?"
"Precisely. And guess who has recently stolen the artifact from that cult while he was in a three-way deadlock with them and Kyuki?"
"The mask?"
"The mask."

The masked person was running throughout the hallways of this underground facility the CIA should have abandoned months ago when Nero was running rampant through here. He/she had a key in his/her right hand, the God's Tear. He/she was just about to reach Nero's old laboratory before his/her progress was interrupted by the appearance of this annoying woman: Montai.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing!?" she yelled.
The masked person came to a skidding halt. "I am right in front of you. You only need to speak so loud for me to hear you."
"Nevermind that. The Hurranians are here."
"Oh, so that's what they were? I never noticed."
"Stop playing around and get over there! I've allowed you to stay here out of kindness. It's the least you can do to repay us!"
"Right, because you didn't previously tell me to pretend like I was never present. Now you suddenly want my help?"
"But you know so much...you know how to beat them..."
"Of course I do, and that's what I'm about to do," the masked person agreed as he/she revealed the God's Tear in his/her hand.
"What is that...?"
"Oh, it's nothing too important. What is important is what it will open for me at the end of this corridor. We're running out of time, so if you will kindly step aside..."

"She better not," a voice behind the masked person replied. Vince had arrived in this hidden base to confront the masked person. He/she had no idea what kind of consequence unlocking that door would bring to them all.
"V-vince!?" Montai shrieked in shock.
"I figured our tag-team action back on Vestal would have made you reconsider this option. I'm not entirely surprised you're back here trying to gain access to that chamber, but this is far as anyone needs to go. You will make our present condition worse if you open that door. Cease what you're planning now."
"I'm not about to let you write my fate on the ground," Apollonir stated towards the masked person. "Surrender the key at once!"

The masked person did not bother turning around to address Vince and the leader of the Legendary Soldiers. There was no need to. Montai was pressuring enough. No one needed Vince there to add to it.
"Of course you'd show up to stop me..." the masked person lamented.
"Vince, what is going on? What's down here?" Montai questioned.
"None of your business."
"Excuse you?"
The masked person glowed in a purple color. The key was instantly deposited into his/her pocket. He/she then lunged at Montai and grabbed her by her neck. She was lifted off of the floor. As a deterrent, the masked person positioned her behind him/her so that she would act as an obstruction.
"Finder's keepers, Apollonir," the masked person clearly defied. "Likewise, I've waited long enough for you to see the necessity behind this weapon. There's no more arguing here. If you won't do it, then I will. That's all that will be said. If you wish to follow me, then death will need to be a topic of discussion."

"How did you know?" Vince falsely gasped. "Who told you that I wouldn't go through Montai to get to you? You found out my weakness! You got me!"
Montai glared at Vince for making that comment. She knew exactly what he was talking about. He basically just told her that she would die long before he'd ever consider letting her be an obstacle towards stopping this masked man.
"Is that the best you can do?" Apollonir asked in reference to the masked person's assumption that having Montai behind him was going to make a difference. "You're climbing the wrong tree if you think that'll deter me. I don't care about you or the girl. I'll kill you both without any second thoughts."
Vince tossed Apollonir out in front of him so he could do just that. There was no time to waste. That key needed to be retrieved, and it should have been done a long time ago.

Montai's Horridian released itself from her care and stood behind the masked person to box him/her in. He went in for a grab just to be sure, but the masked person had other plans.
"Kill her then," the masked person challenged. Using his/her dark power, he/she tossed Montai slightly upwards. He/she then jumped backwards, using Montai's back to push back. She screamed since this threw out her back, and she was now in danger of being crushed by both Apollonir and Horridian. The masked person was safe, going in between Horridian's legs and sprinting towards the cave.
"Damn you!" Horridian cursed. He was not in a favorable position. A godly-fast Dragonoid was about to hit Montai and Horridian couldn't move out of the way. His only recourse was stepping in front of Montai and taking the blow.

Apollonir did not deem it necessary to bring harm to Montai now. What he chose to do rather than truck Horridian was jump over him. He put his right palm on Horridian's central head so he could leap over his head. Apollonir then ran after the masked person who had superhuman speed.
Vince ran over to the injured Montai to see how she was doing. He laid her out on her stomach, amassed Dextra energy on his palm, and then pressed it on her back. The injury faded away instantly.
"How's that?" Vince checked.
Montai was able to rise to her feet. She immediately slapped Vince across the face. "If you ever say that about me again..."
Vince's cheek didn't turn much from the slap. From the look on his face, he didn't seem fazed by it at all. It's like he was never affected by it. "Good. You're okay. We'll catch up when I'm done with this guy."
"Huh? What? You're just going to run away? I haven't seen you in years!"
"Watch my back. I don't have time for this." Vince cut her short and sprinted in Apollonir's direction to confront this masked person. Montai pouted as she watched him leave her...again.
"He makes me sick sometimes."
Cutting over into the cave, Vince came into the room with the hieroglyphics depicting a scene with a Dragonoid and a Dharaknoid. This was the door leading to the chamber. Of course, it wasn't opened yet, because Apollonir was not allowing the masked person to get anywhere near that door alive.
"You're pretty fast for someone who can't breathe as well while running," Vince noticed. "I don't suppose you've changed your mind, have you? Not that this will change what I'm about to do to you for what you did back there, but I just want to be sure of our standing here."

Hades was quickly deployed when Apollonir came within range. It's intimidating stature did nothing to dissuade Apollonir from getting too close, but it's exoskeleton served as a nice defense against his powerful blows. That could be the only explanation for why Apollonir was not charging anymore.
"Do you even realize how soon the Hurranians could have been destroyed if you were compliant earlier? We could have opened the door, taken the BT System to Vestal, and then bam! All Hurranian presence on that planet would have been completely erased, then we could have curbed the outbreak on this planet. The Silver Knights and Eden would not have had to get attacked like this and certain people could have lived. I guess that was too much for two individuals who prefer to do things in the most difficult way there is."
"So let me do the both of you a favor and just eliminate you right here and now, so your bothersome presence doesn't cost anyone here anymore grief." The masked person tossed the God's Tear towards Hades. It caught it with one of it's tails. Energy began siphoning from the key all the way to Hades' internal systems.

"Impressive strategy..." Apollonir commented on what the masked person just made Hades do. "So you're infusing my ancestor's energy into that contraption's power source..."
"Sacrificing the many for the few is your philosophy, huh?" Vince gathered. "Alright. That's a fair stance, even if I disagree with it. I suppose Japan could find solace in being the lesser of two victims from that idea, if that's how you really feel."
Vince activated his BrawlX when it became clear that their feelings of getting rid of the other were mutual. He made sure his guard was up at all times. There was no question about the masked person's style. He/she would use dirty tactics. If the muscles weren't primed to move, then there was no point in even trying.
"There's pros and cons to what we stand for. Let's rough it out a bit and see which one gets to make the decision safely."

There was a quiet laugh from the masked person when Vince shared the mutual feelings for battle. Vince was intent on keeping his beliefs despite the situation they are all in. The masked person thought this was foolish, but one could at least give Vince credit for backing his own opinion with a firm grip, even if it was the wrong one. "There's always someone who insists on interrupting me whenever I do something," the masked person sighed. A Dextra-colored line extended all the way through Hades' frame in a vertical line. The eyes glowed in this same color as well, showing that the assimilation of the original Dragonoid's energy was completed. Hades was dangerous before, but now it's on an entirely different plane of existence. Even Apollonir couldn't hope to find his way out of this one with anything less than high difficulty. "Let's make this quick. I don't intend to get infected because of your stupidity. The less of my time you waste will be better for the entire universe."( Boss Theme 1)

Vince scoffed at these ridiculous accusations. If it weren't for the BT System being within the vicinity, he would have laughed at it. Even someone as carefree as him wouldn't find anything funny about what's going on right now.
"Apollonir, what do you think about what he has done with this mechanical Bakugan?" Vince wondered about the power boost. "Is it a significant change?"
"Under normal circumstances, no, but this one has the power of the Hydranoid that Excedra tested. It is possible that my ancestor's energy could amplify all of its internal systems, making its power consumption more efficient and its usage more streamlined," Apollonir explained. "Imagine our sons' power boost with the imperfect Switch Code. This is what we're dealing with, but on a higher level."
"Oh. That sounds fun," Vince commented. He looked at Hades' frame. This might actually be a battle. He smiled about this. It was a deadly battle, but it was about to be a challenge. He wouldn't prefer it any other way.
"I don't know what kind of magic trick you want me to pull just to save you some 'valuable' time, but if you want to make this as quick as possible, withdraw Hades' alternate power source," he suggested to the masked man.
Apollonir eased his way towards Hades in an attempt to close the gap between them. He was being careful, because Hades was now a threat to him. He wanted to give himself some breathing room to move out of the way if he gets something he can't handle.

"Man up and take the L. Don't tell me what not to use," the masked person responded. He/she took a card to play, but paused for a bit. They were glowing now. The original Dragonoid's energy had transformed the appearance of Hades' abilities.
"Beautiful," he/she commented before activating the ability. "Ability activate! Phaser Trident!"
Hades opened up all three of its mouths. The central head was responsible for firing a laser that covered a wide range, longer than if Hades had used all three heads to do so without the original Dragonoid's energy. The left and right head had supplemental purposes. Spiky-looking lasers were shot from them that had a tractor-beam like effect. Other than causing severe internal damage if it strikes the target, it draws victims towards the blast.
"Who would want to give that up?" the masked person asked in reference to Hades' power. "It's too good to put aside, especially when up against a Dragonoid who may just be as overrated as your legendary status."

"Ability activate! Scarlet Dragonia!" Vince was quick to the trigger to counter this blast. There's no better way to do that than with an ability stated to be able to win any power struggle.
Apollonir jumped backwards very quickly. He flapped his wings to release a powerful gust of wind. He paired that with a searing stream of fire he released from his mouth. It clashed with Hades' beam of destruction. Now they will make clear which side had the stronger power.
"I'm overrated, huh? That's a first. I don't go around flaunting that label, so you can think what you want. I wouldn't put Apollonir down though. He's no joke. Check it." Vince was right about this. The clash ended with a victory on Apollonir's side. Hades' blast was dispersed. The flames struck Hades dead center in the chest. They spread across it to continuously damage it even further.
"You'd better hope that wasn't the best you can do with all that talk," Apollonir warned the masked man in advance.
