Guess ill have to use it this way then. Ability activate, Dragon sword special technique: gate meld. I gain control of the gate and double any effects used after it for this round.now gate card open, switch element. Your now a darkus bakugan. Because your ability is now invalid, its negated. Plus i get 200g again ( played before gate meld, so no doubling.)

You are unable to do that as you are currently a darkus bakugan

Wait, just went through the battle again. Since my Attribute was changed I couldn't of activated my special Ability yet anyway so I'll modify that move then we can go through the last 2 turns again

Sorry, but you cant do that unfortunately. As we already moved passed it, we would usually just call it a missplay and move on

Sorry, but you cant do that unfortunately. As we already moved passed it, we would usually just call it a missplay and move on Moving on isn't so simple now. That misplay changed the entire outcome of this scenario. First, I want to say that Akihiro's fusion activation was legal. I'm going to tell you why. In order for Akihiro's fusion to be a misplay, his protection would have to be activated on earlier turns than where he used it. Imagine if Akihiro played that protection earlier, then played a negation against Allen's negation. When Allen plays his protection, he protects the negation he used to bring down Akihiro's protection, so Akihiro would not have been able to use his fusion in this situation. However, we were not that lucky here. What Allen chose to do was protect directly after Akihiro protected himself. This meant that both brawlers had their stuff guarded from one another. Akihiro's Bakugan was unaffected by Allen's stuff, so the activation of the fusion was permissible. **Pro tip: Pay close attention to the chronological order stuff is played in. As I explained here, the order in which these cards were played creates two different scenarios.
With that aside, let's move on to the pressing issue here. Since no one caught the misplay before we moved to this point, you have three options. 1. Considering the special and fusion were both illegal, the brawl ends with Allen as the winner based on his previous move since Akihiro can do nothing about it (the most fair option imo, since he should know better at that rank). 2. Akihiro has two strikes, and the brawl will be reset back to where the special would have been played. He would have to choose a different move. 3. I declare the brawl a no contest. Allen, what's your pleasure?

If its my choice, id say option 2. I dont want to win on a techincality, and i want to give him another chance
