Description: Ran is the Darkus representative of Six Lost Generals and a member of Shark Fin team that contains Megalodon, as leader, and Kabe 'Kyoka' as well. Among Silver Knights and even Six Lost Generals he is considered as super-Bakugan, but is also called 'null-Bakugan'- reason behind this will be named down below.
Species
Ran is a creature that is classified as null-Bakugan; creature that might or might not be related to Bakugans as a whole, but it does not have any similarities in DNA and aura to what Bakugans have meaning that he might not be one to begin with. So far it was not possible to narrow down possible conclusions to this and what the situation is. Other members of the group consider him as a friend/ally. However, neither they have much idea to what Ran's situation is. He was, not only once, asked of his identity, race and circumstances, but all his replies could be summed up to this: "Don't know of the whole race and 'null thing'- guess I just... exist." It appears to be quite a puzzling answer without giving it much clue on what he truly is. Some think he is an 'Emissary' much like Iota Epsilon Ares, null-Bakugan who is partner with Admiral Asuka Izumo. Reason for this is because Ares exists under same circumstances, but he revealed his origins. Many think that Ran and Ares could be related somehow, but there is no clear confirmation.
Background
Ran has been wandering deserted regions of Vestroia without intent to involve himself in the chaotic outcome of countless factions destroying the world so they could prove their domination over one another. His intention was to scavenge whatever was possible and use anything he could to survive in harsh reality of that cursed dimension. Constant battles between Bakugans caused him disturbance because he would be attacked just by merely existing and walking through an area- he did not lack the power though. He had plenty of that and those who carelessly attacked him regretted it as their bodies and minds were consumed by Ran's amazing, but horrifying power known as Soul Leash. Whoever was killed by him or around him their soul would be attached to Ran for eternity and he could use their powers on his own scale, summon their souls to fight for him or transform them into weapons he could use against other enemies. This power was something new, even in Vestroia, because it seemed limitless since every new death gave Ran new powers he could use on his own scale of powers and his scale was nothing to joke about. Back in his day, even without Six Lost Generals, he would not be a living legend... if he was not considered a threat already wherever he went as he had no faction, no allies, no friends and no interest in gaining any of this. This world, Vestroia, was empty for him- a living shell full of meaningless conflict where only death ruled and even in victory there was no real winner- land of beasts.
At some point in time he encountered infamous raid known as Hydranoid Incursion- thousands of Hydranoids of all kinds led by one representing Necro Hydranoid types. Those monsters were raiding wherever they could and destroying everything and everyone in their path. Ran even witnessed two 'Emissaries' being destroyed in many attempts to stop the raid and save the innocent. Even though he was considered as a monster for his power he thought of Hydranoids as ruthless beasts only capable of destruction and showing their stupidity- at that time many were truly beasts. Most of them could not even talk properly and they were all going out for blood. Some of them stumbled upon Ran and tried to kill him, but they quickly changed their minds before their bodies were devoured by Ran's merciless intent. He had an intent to kill them all, but someone came before him... Lady dressed in bright clothes with four pairs of snow-white wings. Hydranoids mercilessly attacked her, but instantly regretted as no attack seemed to be able to touch that lady- all attacks bounced off and annihilated the Hydranoids. Mindless beasts as they are they continued trying to prove their 'superiority' and their boiling blood got the best of them- they all died with the lady not even moving from her spot.
Ran was curious about who the lady was as she looked so pure and innocent in this world of chaos and plus, she was extremely powerful. Ran followed her trail that seemed like blissful scent to his nose. By following it, he found not only the lady but, what seemed, like her allies as well- a giant dragon, Exa-Z Draco, a giant shark, Megalodon, and a spirit wearing armor crafted and used by gods, Senpu 'Shinigami'. There were many other Bakugans with them, but those only seemed like injured and those who were looking for shelter. They did not notice Ran observing them and listening them talk about their journeys and plans... Weird, so far Ran thought all Bakugans were power-seeking trash, but there appeared to be one fighting for justice which really interested him. During his stay alarm was sounded as another raid of Hydranoids approached. Tired of those rabid and selfish monsters Ran interrupted that strong team of four in their preparations to defend. He did not want them to bother with such lowly worms as Hydranoids. With one snap of a finger he summoned his godly weapon, Gunslinger- a powerful highly-destructive gun that could shapeshift into any other type of weapon Ran could think of. With one blast of his Dark Neutron Blaster ended almost entire raid with one shot leaving only small fries who could be killed without any need of excessive strength.
After witnessing this amazing display of power group of four could not bring themselves not to inquire Ran about his power, weapon and origins and if he would like to join them in their battle for justice. However, Ran said he would give answers to all that under one condition- that he could get a chance to fight the lady in white- Arch Priestess Kuzuha. Despite that odd and specific request Kuzuha accepted without further inquiry. In their battle Ran used quite a bit of power that could bring fear to even those in ranks beyond his, but Kuzuha did not even break a sweat. Ran was scared of her power- he could not even sense her heartbeat accelerating under the pressure of the fight and eventually all his attacks proved ineffective against her. Even though he could have used stronger attacks Kuzuha swiftly finished him off and, as a result, he gave answers. Some of them...
He accepted to become part of their group. He revealed his weapon's name- Gunslinger. He claims it is a weapon he 'stole' from someone who was already dead and had no use of it. As for his power he was revealed to be an omni-type just like Ares. He is able to use any type of power in existence as long as he observes it for long enough , or obtains soul of its user. This way he became the strongest member of the group and stayed that way- strongest when it comes to power, utility and wide arsenal. However, still unable to defeat magical defender- Kuzuha.
