Description: Beatrice is a genetically engineered Bakugan created by Fina Kyuki while she used to be a part of Eden research team. Her history is quite eventful; the fact is- she used to be a human for most of her life. 

Originally, Beatrice's name was Bernadette; she was a part of Eden's Beta Exploration team- team's purpose was exploration of various areas across the world affected by different phenomenons related to Bakugans. For instance, Angel Orchids that could heal one's wounds if they ate the orchid. During one of the explorations team came across an old factory-like structure they entered and, accidentally, activated some sort of defense mechanism. Defense bots were released and recognized the team as hostile attacking them instantly. In the process of defending themselves team did collateral damage to a reactor inside the factory causing it to explode and release a wave of energy that wiped out the bots. Since team was already running away and outside the factory they were not too close for instant death, but were burned severely. That included Bernadette who had least severe wounds considering she escaped first. Team was instantly brought back to Eden's advanced hospital, but only Bernadette survived with her wounds. Healer Bakugans failed to help her as any healed wound would appear not long after being healed.

Desperate, her parents, and important officers in Eden resorted to help of a famous doctor, Fina, who also worked for Eden. She equipped Bernadette with Healer Essence Clone. Healer Essences are living souls of healer Bakugans, but since extracting one means killing a Bakugan Fina learned how to invent artificial ones and for that she became really famous. Healer essence clone kept restoring Bernadette's health and serving as a painkiller. 

With months the essence clone became less useful- it could not keep up with damage that was repeating due to the reactor's radiation and painkiller function could not keep up with the pain. Bernadette's parents were desperate and they asked Fina for advice. There was one option left and its name was known as Abraham's Eyes- it was a forbidden technique learned from the ancient books of forbidden abilities. It was Fina's invention, but Eden forbade its usage painting it as illegal. However, on one side Fina could not ignore girl's pain and on the other side she was offered a lot of money to do it. She attached a device that would perform the technique on the equipped Healer Essence Clone. Bernadette's life force was expanded way beyond human body could comprehend and it, apparently, exploded. Result was one Bakugan sphere sitting calmly on the ground. Bernadette's voice coming from it confirmed procedure had been successful. Once sphere was active Bernadette was released, perfectly healthy. In order to make sure she was alright Fina ran some tests and confirmed that, even though the girl was healthy, she was not going to have it easy. Tests showed she had superhuman strength, speed and endurance along with abilities to heal herself, others and even cause different boosts- just like a Bakugan would. Abraham's Eyes- technique that can turn a creature that is not a Bakugan into one.

Bernadette could change form into a Bakugan one- instead of having her normal human form she could gain in size to be more Bakugan-like. Her opinion was that, since she gained Bakugan powers, she could not just sit and do nothing, but use those powers for something 'bigger'. Fina constructed a 'Seraph', 'Guardian' and 'Holy'; pair of mechanic wings, high-tech battle suit and a high-tech staff. This equipment would amplify all Bernadette's stats as a Bakugan and each piece is considered as a Support Weapon. However, it is a revolutionary type of support weapon invented by Eden where support weapon becomes part of the Bakugan and it is not separately considered a support weapon any more. With these upgrades Bernadette actually became a Bakugan and since her appearance in full Bakugan form differs drastically than one in human form Eden and other organizations would not suspect any forbidden technique was used. Bernadette even started using a new name that would serve her in Bakugan life- Beatrice. 

Her sister, Shabelle, became her partner. (Not literally a sister- Shabelle was adopted). Two get along really well and their love for the living makes them a perfect healer duo.
