There was good news, bad news, and grave news. The Alternative was successfully taken out of commission by the people on the inside, and the doomsday aftermath was averted thanks to the leader of the Spartans, Damian Knight. Unfortunately, the news gets even worse from there. In a surprising turn of events, the Legendary Soldiers were incapacitated by Diablo 3 after taking direct hits from its Bakugan Termination System ability to save the others. Even worse, the actual Bakugan Termination System was digitized onto Earth for all to see, and the countdown has begun. The infection was quickly spreading throughout the Eastern Hemisphere following Italy's infection. Humanity was on the verge of being assimilated. There stood Diablo 3, equipped with a repaired Assail System. Helios, having entered the Fourth Layer, confronted this monster for what is likely to be the last time. Despite not caring for Earth at all, Damian hated Dasia more than anything for what she did to him and the entirety of Vestal, and for that - even if he dies from activating this Fourth Layer - she is going to pay. As depicted in the last episode, the scenery had changed. The Sahara Desert, the Earth's largest hot desert, was now on fire in a literal sense. The planet itself was set ablaze. The atmosphere became an exact replica of how the Pyrus Dimension looks in Vestroia.
Diablo 3 scanned the surroundings, and developed a hypothesis on what the Fourth Layer was actually doing. "So..this Fourth Layer of yours... Your flames are now of a primordial nature, correct?" Diablo guessed. "Well then...it would seem like I got the best of both worlds by having yours and a Dragonoid's battle data within my memory. Unlike you, I'm built to contain that energy."
Assail Diablo pointed its massive barrels at Helios as it was getting ready to shoot. "Meteor Driver!" Powerful rounds were shot out of the barrels as if it was a railgun. The recoil from the shots made the Assail System tremble slightly, but not as much as the ground it stood on.

Helios calmly stood there in the wake of the Assail System's power. For a moment, he was really pondering whether or not he could do this. He hasn't had to enter the Fourth Layer before, but he always had this deep feeling that this power was beyond anything he could comprehend. Rather than dodge the incoming rounds, he simply looked himself over.
His appearance did not change drastically from the Third Layer. The only major difference was that his scales practically covered his entire body now. Even his face was armored up. Coronas were constantly emitted from his body and swirled in and out of his body. Lava streaks were also seen in straight lines throughout his body.
Damian himself was the oddball, because he went through a change too. His hair stood straight up and began waving back and forth like a flame. His BakuScanner was constantly issuing warnings to him, like:
"Warning! Condition red! Abort immediately!" a mechanical-sounding voice ordered him.
"Too late..." Damian grinned. Helios casually swatted the railgun shots away from him with his backhand, causing the blasts to make their mark on the desert region. His advanced G-Shield allowed him to do this. In the Third Layer, it was used as a defense for lesser attacks. Now, Helios' overflowing power can be poured into it, allowing him to adapt to anything on the battlefield.
"Weak!" Helios roared. He sprung forward to charge the Assail System on Damian's mark.
"Ability activate! World Breaker!" This technique allows Helios to simply punch a planet, and the force from it would start events that will lead to a world's destruction either instantly or within seconds or minutes. In this case, since his job was to save the Earth, the punch would be used to knock the red out of Assail Diablo.
Helios dashed in front of Diablo and delivered the world-shattering punch to its hull. The force from the blow traveled through the mechanical, making its mark on the Earth. Fault lines appeared several countries down.

Despite its upgrades, the Assail System was taken aback by the sudden showing of force. That was probably an understatement since it was flung back several miles from the blow; however, the punch did nothing more than make a large crack in the Assail System's design. Whether or not that was a bad thing was up to Diablo's determination. Judging by the sudden rebounding, it probably wasn't...yet.
"Oh...that was a good one," Diablo commented, then brushed aside. "Nothing like feeling the sting of a life gone to waste by a self-centered prick. FARBAS Replicator!"
Using Drago's powers, the Assail System was able to analyze the damage it had just incurred. Unlike the previous abilities in the FARBAS line, this was not an ability meant to regenerate from the damage. All the system had to do was take the analysis from this damage and attune the entire frame to it. This did two things. One, damage on that scale or lower can be resisted. Two, normal attacks from the Assail System was now proportionate to that damage. Diablo figured that a planet busting move like this would be good to have as a reserve to use as collateral in case anyone else decided to get antsy.
"Excuse me for a second," Diablo says as it's about to stomp on the ground with its right foot.

"Hmph. Really?" Damian didn't have to entertain that tactic with an ability. Helios can consciously manipulate Earth's core in ways that the Hurranians' "science" cannot possibly comprehend. It was very simple. All Helios had to do was manipulate the magma flowing underground to generate a violent quake. This knocked the Assail System on its rear end. Diablo should consider itself lucky it got to bathe in hot sand for a bit, because that exact spot was about to get kicked.
"Ability activate! Blazing Devastation!" Helios got on top of the downed Assail System to ensure this attack didn't miss or get reflected to allies. He conjured a fireball in his mouth that had coronas swirling around it.
"Choke on this!" Helios let it loose on Diablo, and then jumped out of the air. The Assail System was now smothered in a flame designed for one singular purpose: absolute burning, the one kind that does not give a damn about regenerative capabilities.
"Don't worry. If we're lucky, I might finish the job later on down the line once you and the blue bitch are gone," Damian sort-of promised.

"Hm..." As Diablo was getting burned by an ultimate burning attack, it had to really ponder over what to do next. This Fourth Layer really was no joke. "Uh...can I get out of this thing now...? I hate fighting in this thing..."
"Relax..." Dasia's voice said through Diablo. "You're doing fine. Stick with the plan."
"This 'plan' is involving this bucket of bolts getting its ass kicked by this sorry excuse of a Helios. It has only been two turns, and...it's down."
"Better the Assail System than you or me, right?"
"Alright. I see where this is going." The Assail System stood up. Despite its ailment, it was still functioning. "Infernus Gear!" A giant blade was digitized right beside the Assail System. When it was brought into existence, it was taken and then tapped against the Assail System so that the flames would be transferred. Rather than attack, Diablo stood there, seemingly waiting for whatever comes next.

Vince was shaking his head at this display. Deep down, he knew what was going on. Diablo 3 was the one they wanted, not the Assail System. The Hurranians will use that Ultimate Formation as a shield to prolong Diablo's function for as long as possible. With the countdown on the BT System having been started, this COULD NOT stand.
"Xavier...come in...this is urgent," Vince called. "I need you to communicate with your Spartans that they have to tell Damian and Helios to strike Apollonir with a fire-based attack. This needs to be done IMMEDIATELY."
Apollonir was unconscious with the rest of the Legendary Soldiers, having taken an attack that was supposed to end with his assimilation. In fact, if it wasn't for him, the other Soldiers would've been assimilated, and then they'd have betrayed the entire alliance.
"Helios' power is frightening, but they can't be afraid to help him. NOW is the time to come together."

Xavier was still monitoring the situation from within the Silver Knights' Mirage Tower. The only thing that changed now was that Kendrick and his grandmother were standing guard with him. This was due to what Dasia pulled with Diablo 3 a moment ago. With Italy being assimilated, it was only a matter of time before it becomes more problematic in the United States.
"Consider it done," Xavier complied. He pulled his tablet out and brought up communications with the Spartans. "Spartans, listen up. Given what just happened overseas, I may get attacked soon, so I'm telling you everything you need to know right now."
"First, stay out of Helios' line of fire," Xavier started, saying the opposite of what Vince told him to do. "Second, help Damian any way you can. That Assail System MUST be destroyed as quickly and as safely as possible." Now he got to it. "Third, one of you tell Helios to top Apollonir off RIGHT NOW. That's all."

Kendrick was irritated. While his facial expression was plain and didn't tell the whole story, his thoughts revealed everything. He remembered the conversation Vince had with him in vivid detail. Vince told him that Kendrick wasn't going to the front lines like everyone else.
"I always feel like everyone keeps leaving me out of the loop," Kendrick thought to himself. "I know I'm too young to legally brawl, but I'm just as capable as everyone else... I can help them take Dasia down. Can't he see what Krakix can do now?"
He then looked at Sandra right beside him, and he quickly came to the realization. "I guess looking after her is important too...and then there's this important guy here who's piloting the mission control. Maybe it's an honor that we're here protecting him?"
"Um, excuse me, but did I just hear that we're going to be attacked?" Sandra suddenly questioned.

"Yes, you did," Xavier answered, turning around in his chair to address Sandra directly. "That's the least of our worries since these towers are hidden from any form of surveillance. Those bastards excel in everything except basic skills such as talking and paying attention. We'll be fine for a while."
Xavier brought up a digital screen that showed a countdown taking place. This was how much time was left before the BT System would activate, ending civilization on Earth as they knew it. He had it displayed on every alliance member's brawling device.
"Still, we need to make sure we have those basic skills handy in case anyone in here ended up like Maria. Those Alternative ships are still in the sky, so we can't go outside. I've had guards before, so I know how boring it is, but if they get me, that's it for Earth and the universe. You two are doing the Lord's work by being here, so for that, thank you, thank you very much."
As he said that, people could be heard screaming outside of the room. One of them could be heard yelling "They're here!!!!!" before death cries were made. "Right on time too."

Tec was idly hanging back, and so were the other Spartans. Even after Xavier gave the order, they were hesitant to move, and it was for one good reason. Even before the Fourth Layer came into play, a lot of Damian's moves don't discriminate. The only one that Damian ever tagged with was Jamal, and that was because Tec could either handle Helios' power or get himself out of the way. No other Spartan can do that as well as he can. Due to this:
"I'll go," Jamal volunteered. "Deon and Niko, I need your help. Yita, make sure we live."
Tec then looked back down towards Helios. He aimed his left fist in his direction. "We'll get the Soldiers up first, then we pulverize her. Deal?"
"Deal."

Diablo jabbed the ground with the blade to produce a shockwave, one powerful enough to truck nearly every combatant in the vicinity. A sea of flames spread outward from it, the same absolute burning flames that Helios had gifted to it before. It loomed over everyone's heads in hopes of dragging all of them to hell.
"Garland Turret! Remember this!?" This ability was absolutely dangerous, one that acts in accordance to the number of foes present. It was sure to be explosive.
A swarm of lasers exited the Assail System. They all conjoined into a ball, and then dispersed to spread out to unforeseen locations. The Spartans knew how this worked. Soon, these lasers will strike and will produce nuclear-grade explosions, and turrets will be left in its wake to finish off any resilient opponents who were unlucky enough to survive.

Damian looked at this oncoming sea of flames and the threat of nuclear-warheads raining down on them. The thought of everyone else being consumed didn't concern him, and that was for a reason everyone will soon find out.
"Ability activate! Pyrus Soul!" A signature ability from the Helios line, Pyrus Soul personifies what it means to be born from an attribute core, and allows that user to achieve godly strength through one technique. This will automatically max out the user's favored stat. Being that Helios is an offensive powerhouse, it was obvious what got cranked up.
A large flame engulfed Helios when it was used. It flared as his power was increased accordingly. Vein-like lines were seen showing up across Helios' body too. He then started sprinting towards the Assail System.
As he ran, he saw Tec's fist come right beside him. THIS was the reason why neither Damian or Helios cared about Diablo's current offensive. "Hit it," Helios called out.

Tec's fist gave Helios a thumbs up before balling up and preparing to execute the ability Jamal was playing. "Ability activate. G-Factor."
Jamal had a smile on his face as he said this, because Damian is finally the "brother" he always believed was there. Damian was well within his power to stop that entire offensive, but he prioritized his own offense, because his allies had him covered.
The fist had purple energy gather around it as it flew. A part of the flames being used from Pyrus Soul was brought to it, just so that it can be used later. Helios made sure he was in front of the fist before its sudden punch towards the ground. Gravitational force was produced that repelled everything that was coming to kill the alliance. Even Helios was bumped forward towards the Assail System so he could take care of business.
Tec used his remaining hand to put a figurative umbrella over the alliance's head, ensuring that no one would come into contact with the devastation Diablo created. "We got your back," Jamal assured Damian, even though he wouldn't hear it. "Just do what you gotta do."

Damian grinned when he saw the expected gravity slam from Tec. "There you are. I was beginning to think you all were going to stand there and watch," Damian remarked. "And I don't hear any lectures about teamwork and all that junk. Unusual..."
Damian went ahead and played the next ability, unknowingly acting on Jamal's wishes. "Ability activate! Crisis Boost!" This is another buffing technique, but it is also an offensive attack. What it does is feed off of the present situation if there's danger or a life-threatening situation. Given that the Fourth Layer on its own is life-threatening, Helios didn't have to worry about putting any power into this ability.
Helios was engulfed in flames to the point of looking like a cosmic entity. He radiated like the sun, expelling harmful rays that damaged anything within its surroundings. Having been launched by Tec, Helios smashed straight through the Assail System, burning it completely.
"Hey," Helios eerily spoke to the entity that he was now tackling since it was knocked clean out of the Assail System, Diablo 3 itself. "No more bullshit. It's just you and I!"
