Hello, ladies and gentlemen of WC. It has been a while since the last one. I was waiting until the perfect scenario came to me since I like to apply these to actual brawling situations you might get involved in. If you hadn't guessed, I do not make these up. Every scenario I present to you is based on an event that occurred on this website. On occasion, I scroll through my past to dig up some nostalgia, and I came across some...weird situations... I want to share several with you. As always, here are the rules. > I will briefly present a specific point in a brawl, and then I'll ask a question at the end of the post. Your job will be to post in this thread with your answer. > You have unlimited submissions. > Submissions will be allowed until I confirm a winner, so even if one person posts before you, you can still respond. > I can and will respond at any time. Once I acknowledge that there is a winner, I will close the thread. The person with the answer I'm looking for will receive a Legendary Soldier, Sentinel Dragonoid, Dante, or Gamblignant Helios before they are officially released. I will also throw in $4000 into the mix as well. Let's begin. Note: PAY ATTENTION. The difficulty will be on par with Module 2, so keep your eyes peeled for key details. --- Tracy walks into Montai's office to tell her about what's going on in WC. Montai asked what it was about. Tracy answered that she was concerned about what the higher-ups thought about the Resistors and Spartans misbehaving on the website, or doing things that could be taken in a negative light. Speaking of which, Montai had an entire list of what has been going on, and was just getting ready to address these issues. The situations included: Deon made a poll that is holding votes for Damian's removal from the Spartans. When not on the website, he tells people that he thought it was funny when Yita suggested they get together to kill Damian and then make him into a soup to serve to Dasia. Tank is an admin. He was tired of Markus - a moderator - being on multiple accounts, because he was not posting in the plot when he should be. Due to this, Tank disabled several of Markus' accounts. Markus then gets on his main account and reactivates all of the disabled accounts, then sends Tank a pm that says, "Go fuck yourself. I can do what I want." Jamal gets on Twitter to send Lydia a link to an image that contains...a "disco stick," a "bishop", a "kielbasa." Lydia then goes on WC and pms Jamal here. He gets a link to a website. He gets spyware on his computer after clicking the link. Seiki saw two people in the chatbox that were talking about how jealous they were that Noland and Allen were two of the strongest mortals currently alive. They discussed ways in which they could get the two Resistors killed. Seiki goes on about her business. A couple of days later, Allen is shot. With these situations on her mind, Montai tells Tracy that she is going to handle them all at once. Clearly, she was far from pleased to hear about these events. --- Your objective: Montai will be issuing bans. List all of the people who will receive automatic bans. Explain why for each choice. I see it now. We've been looking at the wrong person as the bigger problem. Lydia: Endangered another user with spyware on a PMed website Seiki: Didn't report a potentially dangerous situation that was brewing in the Chatbox Two unknowns: Discussing how to kill two people they were hating on in the chatbox. Markus doesn't get the boot. I thought about it earlier, but went against my instinct. Tank, despite being a higher ranking staff than Markus, didn't have grounds to suspend his accounts. The first thing he should've done was talk to Markus and ask him to do what he was supposed to do. Markus's response was not to the general people. While he should get a strong warning for his response to Tank, it was not put into a public space and, as such, does not break one of the general rules. Question answered! Thread Locked

Right. Lets have a go. I have been a staff member on multiple sites and have dealt with a number of things. So I will be saying this from what I would do. So let's go through them in order.
First off is my boy Deon: The poll for the vote is fine, that is fair. As for the other part, yes it is rude but I don't think it is enough for a automatic ban.
As for Yita in this we have not got a lot of detail on what they said, we do not know if it was serious or a joke. Therefore I wouldn't do an auto ban without knowing that.
Then we have Tank: Tank with this while I do not agree with the disabling accounts as that seems a bit much that wouldn't be enough for a ban by me because Tank has a right to do it as he is telling Marcus off basically.
Then we got Marcus' reaction: Markus was in the wrong here for he was not only rude to an admin but reactivated his accounts despite anything Tank would have told him. As such I would probably ban him. For I wouldn't want staff like that.
Then Jamal: For this it is off site and not on anything to do with the site like an official chat so I wouldn't ban him for that.
However, for Lydia: This I would ban for because that puts members at risk and I would never allow members to be at risk.
Then Seiki: This I am iffy on, while yes it could have been avoided if someone was told but at the same time I don't think that is ban worthy.
So overall the people that I think would receive automatic bans are:
1) Lydia for putting members at risk
2) Marcus for being rude to staff and avoiding the punishment.

Okay, time to break this down. Deon and Yita: This one is more challenging. Deon is the one making the poll, and saying what he thinks. But the latter is happening outside of BWC. As for Yita, it is unknown where she is saying what she is saying. The way I understand it, Deon wouldn't get banned because he's not braking any of the rules (as far as I know). The worst he's doing is holding a poll, which in on itself isn't bad. The content might be questionable, but he won't get the autoban. Yita would probably also fall under this ruling. As it was never stated where she's saying what she's saying about Damian, we can't confirm nor deny her banning. Tank and Markus: This one is easiest. Tank is an admin, Markus is a moderator. Admin supersedes Moderator, so Tank's ruling would stay in effect (Rule 14). Add that to Markus's disregard for Rule 5 in the general rules, paraphrased below, and he's getting the boot. Jamal and Lydia: This is another 'easy' one. While Jamal should not've sent Lydia what he sent, he did NOT send it on this site. Lydia, however, advertised a site to him, through PMing, which is against General Rule 9. It will again be put below. The icing on the cake is the spyware. Seiki: Out of all of them, this one is probably the most difficult. Yes, it was the two people who are unknown who were complaining about Noland and Allen's strength, and they were breaking another general rule, namely Rule 8. But, when Seiki saw it, she could've reported it. But, the two who were discussing it were the initial perpetrators, so they would get the ban. It does not mean the Seiki wouldn't face some sort of punishment for not reporting it, though. Rules Referenced: 5: No inappropriate language, we will not allow it in this website, this will get you banned. 8: We ask that you do not be a hater. 9: Do not advertise your website through private message. If anybody gets a private message about advertising to a site please report it to a staff member. 14: Staff may ban you, and/or delete your post/account if they feel it necessary, no warning has to be given. Alright I will give it a try,
First of all, in the first situation Deon should not be banned cause he has just created a poll holding votes for Damian's removal from the spartans, so instead he should only be given a warning. Now in the same paragraph it has been told that when Deon is not on website he tells people that he thinks its funny when yita suggests that they should get together and kill Damian, now as this is listed in the list which is with Montai they already know all this so Yita should also be given warning as it is an offense against other member.
Now, in the second situation Markus is the one who should be banned cause not only he disrespected Tank's decision but also said 'fuck yourself. I can do whatever I want' and according to the general rule use of inappropriate language and disrespecting admin's decisions should be a ban.
In the third situation, Lydia should be the one to get banned cause sending link through pm's is not allowed also after clicking the link he gets spyware on his computer so Lydia should get banned.
In the fourth situation, the two people in the chat box should be banned for discussing how they were going to kill the two resistors and couple of days later allen got shot so all the things were pointing at them. As for Seiki she should be given a warning for not informing any of this to the staff, if seiki did told the staff/admin about this allen would have never been shot.

Alright. What I'm seeing from all of you can be summed up quite easily. It's clear that all three of you are not happy with how a certain person acted and believes he/she should be banned for it. The bad news is that you are making what happened a bigger deal than it should be for a ban to be handed out without warning.
At the same time, there is a certain person who you are either indecisive about or have not really considered the repurcussions of what he/she would be guilty of.
So far, I like what I'm seeing, but let's review the situations again and see what we're missing.

Aright try two. So me Atom and Kuro all said the same thing basically. And we have from Damian that one that we all said someone should be banned but we are making a bigger deal out of it.
That bit has to be either Marcus or Lydia. Marcus looks to be the bigger offender so he has to be the one getting the boot in my opinion, Lydia gets a warning.
Then for the indecisive or have not really considered. That has to be about Seiki so for this one, Seiki failed to tell a member of staff what was said but no rule of General rules were really broken. The ones that did breaks rules were the two people they saw talking. Even people may say that by not telling anyone you are supporting it and to be honest they should have told staff ASAP.
So for this try, I will say.
1)Marcus for cursing and being rude.
2)Seiki for failing to tell staff ASAP.

Waiiit, One step forward, one step back. I made two changes. Removed Lydia, then added Seiki. So one step forward is Lydia, one step back has to be Seiki. From the fact you didn't say about the two two unknowns I will count them out for now.
So the banned people are:
Marcus for cursing and being rude.

I just need for you to consider two things. 1. You'll see I underlined a statement from what you just said. Keep that in mind. Go back to what you said in response to me telling you all that you were making a bigger deal out of someone's actions than usual. 2. If you can figure out what I'm trying to tell you from above, then you'll realize what I meant by saying you took one step forward and one step back.

Ok ok ok. So fro that and what you put in Chatbox. Lets go back to both my posts.
You said in chatbox more than two people. You also said: You just need to have all of the banned people in one post.
So. That means...
Marcus, Lydia and Seiki?
Marcus for Cursing and being Rude.
Seiki for failing to tell staff.
And Lydia for posting links in DM.

Maybe this will help you. Do you remember L. Dusk? If so, did I or Keto ban him?
