Episode 52: The Battle Heard Around the World

"Don't take it as failing. Shit happens," Markus responded, not wanting anyone to feel discouraged for the Resistors and Spartans stepping in to fight. "We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the help we ALL received, not just the Silver Knights. I'm glad that we benefited from each other in the end."

"It'll feel weird going back to fighting arena shitstains again, but it's whatever," Gargulion cockily asserted. "Not that I want to do what you guys are doing or anything like that... Definitely didn't say that."

"Hopefully, we can rest easy now that the struggle is over. You've dealt with a lot of mess. You need as much of a break as all of us honestly."

"...Don't worry...there's room for all of us..." Noland assured Maria who was probably feeling a certain way about the Resistors having to get involved. "It never mattered what we did or failed to do... What's done is done...and we are still alive to do what we all want to do now..."

The Resistors began to walk away, but not without giving Maria and the Silver Knights one last image of their character as a whole. "If you think about it, you could say that the first Resistors were the Silver Knights all along... " Noland insinuated. "I don't know if we'll ever fight side-by-side again, but if you ever need me...I'm here... Until we meet again..."

The Resistors walked away from the Silver Knights, all of them side-by-side. While all of them didn't depict a tight-knit team, they can say with certainty that what they did exposed them to experiences that - while frightening in every sense of the imagination - has made them stronger across all aspects of their character. Neither one of them would forget this moment, and hopefully the Silver Knights were smitten by the harsh reality of opponents being out there that not even they could handle with their own resources. Will the Silver Knights and Eden be more amicable? Can the government and the Silver Knights work together? Can the world work together?

All of those questions couldn't be answered in one day, so here's to the future. The Resistors finally close another chapter and can essentially disband on good terms. Now as Legendary Soldiers, they can decide the fate of this universe, but for now, it's up to them to decide what direction they want their lives to go.
