“We appear to be so.” Agreed Chronogian. “You know which card to play, right?”
“Absolutely.” I grabbed a card, and it glowed faintly. “Gate Card, Set!” I grabbed Chronogian. “Bakugan, Brawl! Bakugan, Stand! Rise Chronogian!” Chronogian rose, revealing himself again.

"You and me both won the last round. Sooooooo. Time for a Havoc Drop! Life point damage is doubled on both sides, and I gain 100gs per card played this round."

Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rise and Destroy Darkus Serpieros!

"The Grandfather Clock wants to play how nice. Be careful now. You wouldn't want to fall over and break a hip." Hisses out Serperios. He is also laughing a little at his comment.

"Your move Atom"

"I don't even have a hip. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a serpentine dragon. I don't have a lower body, unlike other dragons." Argued Chronogian. "And also, do you really need to go down that low? Calling me a clock, when it's clear I'm not?"
"Later, Chronogian. Focus on it later." I said. "This is Grimm we're talking about here. He's going to try and get under your skin as much as possible." Chronogian shook his head.
"Indeed. He will always attempt to get the better of this opponent. I shall ignore it."
"In that case, we'll skip. Let's see what you can do, Grimm."

"Okay let the dragon nerd have his fun. First I will start of with my bakugan. Despite being a serpent himself Serperios is technically a 4 headed Hydra. He in classification. Snake Hydra. Now for Chronogian. While yes you are draconic in nature, and you don't have feather so you can't be a quetzalcoatl. Therefore you are wyrm. To be more specific. You a a Time Wyrm. One of the few species of dragons that can control time." [PS Audience don't bother asking I'm a dragon fanboy. So I know a lot about them. Also despite wyrms being considered a type of dragon. They are in fact not dragons.]

"Also Know who you are talking about old geezer and his brawler. It wasn't Grimm who insulted you. He may be clever, but he isn't one to pick on the old." Hiss out Serperios.

"Ability Activate! Shadow! Lose 200gs, and can't gain more power. Havoc Drop is in affect too."

"Haven't you learned by now that you two are of the same being?" I asked. "You know what, never mind. I'll explain it another day. Anyways, haven't you learned by now that G power doesn't specifically constitute a win?"
"Atom, stop rambling. He's not going to listen."
"True, true. Anyways, Ability Activate! Glowing Light! You remember what this does, right? Also, you know what? Since you were so kind to play Shadow, let's bring out a good one." A Bakugan began to glow bright yellow, with swirls of pure white. "Now, Leo is slightly different here than he was in the origin Bakugan Reality. You see, his genetics are in a state of high flux, due to the evolution limitations. This allows him to slip between forms when needed." The Bakugan flew onto the field, and rose quickly, revealing Leonidas.
"As you can see, I'm not in my Infusion evolution now." Said Leo. "This'll make things easier for all of us, because my evolved forms are too powerful for both of you."

"Oh sorry again. Dragons are just cool. But anyways. Double Ability Activate! Darkus Booster and Fusion Ability Activate: Phantasmal Destroyer. First Darkus Booster transfer 300gs from each of my opponent's bakugan. Since you have 2 that makes 600gs. Next my fusion ability reverse your ability card. Allowing me to send Leonidas back to your bakupack. I know you said power isn't everything but don't forget to include Havoc Drop next time m'kay."

Me: 1500g (this math includes Havoc Drop for 4 ability cards have been played.)
You: 0g (or 200 if Leonidas's power remains. Also shadow is still in place.)

"Yes I know having High G-Power doesn't mean much at the momment, but when you have this much of a difference. Ther is room for concern. On top of that you have to be just as careful when playing your abilities. I finally figured out a strategy for Serperios and oh boy. Is it cruel."

"You've used 3 Abilities to my 1. Who has the advantage here?"
"Indeed, Grimm. You're focusing too much on getting ahead quickly. You misunderstand the true meaning of brawling."
"I'll make it short, okay? Gate Card, Open! Switch Element! This Gate card will change your attribute, indirectly negating your Shadow and Darkus Booster, and by extension, your Phantasmal Destroyer. I'll choose to make you Ventus." Serperios's color quickly changed.
"Atom, don't forget the second part." Said Leo as he returned.
"Right, nearly forgot that. Ability Activate! Lightning Tornado! This'll transfer 300 Gs."

(Post simplification: I changed Grimm's Attribute with Switch Element, then activated Lightning Tornado to transfer 300 Gs.)

Okay before we can continue I have a few things to say. Shadow is at this point to late to counter. Unless it is then, you still can't gain power. Next switch my attribute wont immediately negate my previously activate cards. Unless Zeno say so. Finally if anything you could have stopped me from playing other cards for they require the darkus attribute. So finally. My counter before your card takes affect.

"Special Ability Activate: Serpent's Panthyon. I gain 200gs and do to the massive amount of snakes your gate card is well canceled. (aka: It also negates your gate card)"

"So, it's a counter war you want? It's a counter war you'll get. Ability Activate, Ability Breaker! That Serpent's Panthyon is gone, now."

"Grimm. You are now just making fun of him." Hisses out Serperios.

"Atom, use another of my abilities, and quickly!" Said Chronogian.
"Okay, that's an easy one. Ability Activate! Uncertainty Principle! This'll add 200 Gs to everything on Chronogian's side and negate your last ability, in that order."

You: 400

Now either way I knew I wasn't going to win this one in this situation. Now I can either dig myself out. Use switch elements don't negate already activated affects, and make a bigger wall for you to climb. Or use Ability Breaker. I don't know if serpent's panthyon counted towards the limit. But if it does. I lose. Either way. At least I wasn't last place.
