Slaid's body turned with each successive hit he took, and after each one, he sighed, both sounding equally as disappointed as Slaid was with Lumagrowl's power.

Additionally, the fortress can take on any Support Weapon characteristic; we'll say that it's a Battle Gear and will be drawing effects from my Death and Taxes, should I need to use it.

Darkus energy leaked from Slaid's body to form a giant-sized version of himself. The familiar grabbed Lumagrowl's neck with its fingertips, and held it up into the air. It tauntingly shook the mutt, as if it was attempting to convey to it that it shouldn't have come here, and that there was only so many warnings that can be given before someone gets killed.

*Lumagrowl eyes began to glow a slight yellow color and he slashed at the creatures face.*

*Lumagrowl began to charge Yellow haos energy and let out a loud grunt as he released his attack.*

Lumagrowl: "Hahahahahaha weakling!" He said as the creature disappeared.

Hm...guess I'll give this a bit more effort then.

Special ability activate! Battle Instinct (Green)! This will allow me to copy/reuse any effects, then I CAN switch my power level with any previous power level recorded. I will omit that effect.

I'll reuse Goliath Fortress and copy Plasma Claws. Let's resolve Goliath Fortress first. One spawns with 1.5 times Slaid's base level. I will also give it the characteristic of Battle Gear.

Then we'll take on Plasma Claws where I will gain 200G and have my overall strength doubled.

I will use Goliath Fortress' effect to use part of my Battle Gear's - Death and Taxes - effect. I will give it any strategy effect. I'll use it to pick both Slaid and Lumagrowl. For two turns, they are not considered to be in battle. When those two turns end, two things will happen:

1. Slaid will retain all of what he had prior to "exiting the battle."

2. Lumagrowl will not; instead, he will come back as if he was thrown in for the very first time, except that what you used will still count towards the limits and whatnot.

That's a shame. The same Goliath Fortress your Lumagrowl said was weak is going to be the same thing that does you in. It's active now since your Fusion Ability's effects are irrelevant after it came back to the fight. Didn't you notice with my high power level?

Since you were so kind, I'll make use of the 1st Goliath Fortress by activating its effect. It can have any strategy effect. I'm going to make it a copy/reuse effect, so I'll reuse Goliath Fortress - the original card - and the 2nd Goliath Fortress - the actual entity - to give me some breathing room.

I will spawn ANOTHER Goliath Fortress. You know how strong it is. Once again, I will make it have Battle Gear-like characteristics. More on that later.

In reusing what I did with the 2nd Goliath Fortress, it can have any strategy effect. I can count anything you used towards any card count. By targeting your Fusion Ability, I can make that count towards your Special Ability count instead.

Then, in using the 3rd Goliath Fortress, I can make it have any strategy effect as well. I will have it change your Bakugan's attribute to Aquos, so no, you don't have the advantage.

Anyway as it stands I only have two Normal counts left.

You still have all your counters.. I see this battle is finished I skip no point in wasting time. I skip. Good game I see what you mean now that whole situation could have been avoided had I paid attention.

In-brawl talk aside, I feel like you're going to go places. You're good, you really are. I think that if you just slow down a bit, you'll be where you should be. By slow down, I mean take more time to thoroughly read through the battle to understand the situation. Like you said, what I did was avoidable.

From what I heard, I'm not going to close the battle myself, but I will mention that we both get increased rewards for brawling at 1000 point life gauges.
