"You have the power and you have no mercy," started Dark Atom. "However, you do not yet possess the knowledge needed to defeat those we oppose." Mythical Leonidas glowed, defeated by the barrage. "But, I must admit, you pulling that ability was a surprise. The Yggdrasil Abilities are actually a creation of one of our enemies." He held his hand out, and a black pod formed in it. He tossed it to Maddamm. "This has a Negative Gene in it. Crush it, and it's yours. A few warnings before then, however. One, you will face off against beings of light. As such, they have abilities that can and will counter yours. Two, if you gain light in your soul, you will be destroyed by the Negative Gene. And three, you will be asked of many things. Those things will likely be dangerous to both you and General Piscu. Assuming all those conditions are acceptable, you may take your Negative Gene. As for me, I'm heading back to continue on with my duties of learning our opponents every action." Dark Atom vanished, leaving Maddamm with the warnings and a decision.

Marian crushes it and gains her negative gene. "Oh it tingles." 

Picsu reverts and goes to Marian. "Shall we inform him." 

"Yes, and lets look for others like we were asked to." The two leave the reality. But later.

So a quick thing. I fucked up. First some context. I love me-self some mythology. So Tanks mentioning Eris Apple from the Iliad was awesome. Buuuuuuuuuuut. I fuck up here. See according to Norse myth in Ragnarok it's Frenrir that eats the sun and moon. No the world serpent. (It still does get killed by thor and thor does die in the the next nine steps.)
