The combatants have finally stepped out into the training grounds for some exercise. Rafe seemed to be fired up. Getting to face one of Gundalia's elite was always a treat, and there's the Redeemer's brother who is sure to make this a lot of fun for them both. This almost makes up for the fact that he wants to shove his fist down the Emperor's throat for throwing him - an esteemed Castle Knight - in prison for no reason.
"Hm...how are we going to do this...?" Rafe wondered. "Arenas are typically made for just two combatants...not three..." It took everyone a while to figure that one out...
"Ah well. Space management is just another part of battling. We'll all fit right in, I suppose. Well then, Miss Kianna, my partner and I are ready when you are." Rafe rolled his Bakugan onto the battlefield without any announcement. It was a Wolfurio, a knight Bakugan. In unison with Rafe, Wolfurio bowed to his opponents to give them their respect.
Kianna was the nice one and let the boys have their place on the opposite ends of the field. She was in the center, but obviously on the outskirts.
"Well, I hate to be mean since you're being such a gentleman, but... I kinda don't care about you being in the battle right now. I'd much rather have fun than to get in a staring contest because of your Lanzato," Kianna bluntly stated. "A certain someone here knows who I'm really interested in. Contestir, if you would?"
"Yes, ma'am," a gentlemanly Bakugan responded. A Haos orb popped out of Kianna's pocket and rolled over to the battle arena to stand. When he did, he showed himself as being of the knight-type as well.
However, he was not anything like Wolfurio.
This Bakugan's knight armor was actually a ruse which would make opponents assume that he was one of them, but he was actually a magic user. The armor itself is the item that is used for magical output. He was Zona Contestir, the 2nd strongest Gundalian Bakugan.
"No disrespect, Wolfurio, but...we fought before," Contestir apologized. He eyed Kendrick with great curiosity to see who he was up against.

"Right... It's us..." Kendrick sighed. He shrugged and just went on about his usual routine before a battle...as if he ever had one in the first place. "Siege, are you ready?"
"No." Siege answered.
"Come on, dude..." Krakix sighed.
"Alright, alright. I'm just messing around. Sheesh. I'll get myself out there." Siege rolled on over to the battlefield like everyone else did. When he arrived and stood, he revealed his new appearance. His armor was colored in a sky-blue coloration, which was definitely a lighter color than most Aquos Bakugan show up in. This was to denote the fact that he was a clear Siege in the Aquos Dynasty in the Siege line. He was known as Cavalier Siege now.
"Okay, so...I just need to activate this here..." Kendrick was muttering while powering up his BrawlX. "Cool. I'm ready now. Do your worst...actually, please don't do that..."
"A Clear Siege...? That's amazing!" Rafe exclaimed in his thoughts upon laying eyes on Siege for the first time. "I bet everyone back home would love to see it... The conditions for achieving that kind of evolution is so rare that only five have been sighted in all of history... He must have incredible powers then..."
Seemingly knowing about the Siege line and what they're capable of, Rafe decided that it would be best to test his capacities more than focusing on training against the lovely, but blunt lady across the way. Fortunately, it sounded like she had the same idea, so he didn't expect Wolfurio to be targeted...at least for now. Actually...that was why he was going to target Kianna anyway...
"Ability activate! Terra Seal!" Rafe played. With this, Wolfurio pointed his double-sided lance directly at Contestir. The lance itself produced a tarry cloud of light energy that flowed towards the Gundalian warrior. Anything that comes into contact with the substance is immediately sealed. The sealing process is rather basic and bars the usage of something or all things related to whatever touches it, but it does entirely depend on the user's ingenuity and method of dispersal.
"Awww. You really shouldn't have," Kianna sarcastically responded to seeing that attack. She knew exactly what Rafe was going for by executing that sealing maneuver the way that he did.
Without having to activate any abilities, Contestir steadily absorbed the energy from Terra Seal. It was a passive trait for Contestir in that energy-based attacks against him was mostly useless. He is practitioner of magic that deals in the creation of anti-energy, which is the energy that directly opposes all forms of energy. Under most circumstances, the only reliable way to deal damage to Contestir would be to use physical-based attacks.
So, as it stands, Contestir is now creating the energy that is needed to directly cancel out Wolfurio's without having to put much effort into the fight himself. Wolfurio being hit by anything like that could be disastrous; however, none of that power would be meant for the Neathian, because...
"Ability activate! Zona Ray!" Kianna activated. Contestir's shoulder cannons produced a light that scanned Terra Seal. Now, using the anti-energy Contestir made, he can produce a move with the same characteristics, but can use it in a different way.
Contestir pointed his cannons towards Siege and began bombarding him with rays of sunlight that had the same detrimental effects as Terra Seal should one be struck by it. Assuming this hits Siege, he won't be able to get a single ability out before the battle even begins.

"...Oh shite..." Siege sighed. It was unknown why he added the 'e' to the end of shit, but it was clear that even he knew he was fucked right from the beginning.
He quickly summoned his 'Black Box' and put it out in front of him. It expanded into a wall to protect him from being affected by the sealing attributes of the attack. Pieces of the wall broke off and went around Siege. Each piece formed into boxes themselves, and they were the same size as the original. This was due to the fact that the sealing attributes froze the formation in the state it was in, so Siege could no longer manipulate it.
"Aw man... Why did the first battle have to be a gank boss...? Dark Souls 2 made me sick of those already..." Kendrick sighed. He figured something fishy was going on the moment he saw Wolfurio initiate that attack. Based on their speech, it was clear they both knew each other, so it wouldn't have made sense for Wolfurio to shoot that at Contestir unless they were planning something...
"You need help, buddy?" Krakix offered since he didn't feel like it was fair for Siege to get ganked like this.
"The way I see it, if I can get one of them down, I'll be satisfied. I got this one," Siege confidently responded. "Ken, let's get 'em!"
"Right with you," Kendrick assured him. "Ability activate! Armory Style: Expanse!" This gives Siege the ability to enlarge matter to grand proportions. The application was very simple.
First, Siege controlled two 'black boxes' to hover over his head. They formed into the Ventus variants of the spears the Siege species uses. They grew to become giant-sized versions of the weapons. They both swiped in the direction of Wolfurio's attack to completely blow it away, nullifying it without any trouble. They then stuck themselves onto both sides of the arena, creating a powerful wind that repulsed everyone.
The weapon on Wolfurio's side encased him and his brawler in a chamber to keep them occupied. As for Contestir's side, the weapon merged with the ground underneath him and Siege. Siege then grasped an Aquos version of his spear and began to approach the Gundalian.
"Hopefully, that chamber will hold that guy... It probably won't..." Kendrick conceded in his head. "Better finish this fast..."
"Siege, go as fast as you can. We probably don't have too much time," Kendrick warned him.
"Yep," Siege listened. He then moved in to attack.
"Oh? That's an interesting way to fight... I like it," Kianna commented on Siege's Matter Manipulation prowess. "However, there's something you should know about how I fight. This armor that Contestir wears is nowhere close to the quality that is on Wolfurio. We simply enchanted it to be on the same level. With that said, guess what kind of magic we practice?"
It was obvious Kianna was a practitioner of enchantment. This form of magic was very dangerous, because anything that Contestir can get his hands on can become a weapon of mass destruction. The ground they were standing on now as a result of Siege's recent act...
"Ability activate! Bleach Out!" Contestir generated two orbs of crackling electricity in his hands. The individual orbs zapped each other until they generated an explosion that rocked the entire arena. All of Siege's 'black boxes' dropped dead to the ground. Their connection to Siege had been removed by Contestir's enchantment spell, which will only make things easier for himself and Wolfurio.
"The look on your face tells me you needed that," Contestir finally spoke up. "Sorry about that."
"Ability activate! Evil Copy!" Kianna cheerfully played. Contestir beamed Siege with an ironic, but powerful devilish light beam. The attack itself had proportionate power to the affected target's base level, and that was because their base power level was being used to create a monstrous evil doppelganger that will spawn next to them to screw them over.
"I'm sorry about that too," Contestir apologized.
"Rafe, you have anything to add? I'd rather not do ALL of the work, you know," Kianna sorta begged.
"Well, sure, if you don't want to tell him about my arsenal too?" Rafe responded. "Alright... I guess I don't want to seem like a bully, so I'm not gonna do too much. If that disappoints you, oh well. Wolfurio?"
"Sure, because our opponents needs something else done to them," he blankly accepted.
"Ability activate! Striking Thunder!" Wolfurio pointed his lance up into the sky and shot a trail of lightning. A storm started to brew up above, and the lightning came faster than anyone could predict. Lightning struck Contestir directly. Unfortunately, it would not get absorbed, countered, or any of that mumbo jumbo that is within Contestir's arsenal, because the attack wasn't energy based. For some odd reason, the attack was actually physical. Upon closer inspection, there was a pointy lance pointed directly at Contestir's upper chest at the exact point the lightning struck him.
"Whoops," Wolfurio faked.
"I totally didn't mean to do that. It's not like the Caste Knights are honorable or anything like that, not that you'd know that," Rafe supported.

Siege was laid out on the ground. He was apparently rocked by Contestir's attack, and then he had to look to his right to see his own likeness staring at him with killing intent.
"Oh...hey, handsome," Siege greeted.
"Sup," the copy greeted back.
"Yeah, so... Am I dead?"
"I'm still surprised that happened... She's really amazing...." Kendrick commended. "Anyway, it seems like we were right to target Contestir first. He's a huge problem..."
While Kendrick was brainstorming, Siege was running around in a circle as he was being chased by his doppelganger. "Can you think faster, please!? He's trying to kill me!"
"Hm...Siege...touch his thing, will ya?"
Apparently, the statement sounded so wrong that it froze both Siege's in their tracks. When this happened, Kendrick smirked, because he figured out a weakness. Despite the copy being berserk in a way, they were still made from the same entity, so they still have the same thought processes.
"Hurry up and touch one of his weapons!" Krakix yelled out.
"Alright... Good grief." Siege did as he was instructed, and it turned out that he was able to manipulate it the same way he could his own weapons. This meant that Siege still retained the knowledge to manipulate matter, but he could not do so with what he had out already. Now, that's about to change.
"Um...so...about earlier... I'm dead?"
"Nope." Siege covered his copy in a black mass using the stolen 'black box' and absorbed it back into his body. With that being done, Siege's power was restored to normal, and he had full control of his weapons once again. "Alright. Now, where were we?"
"Ability activate! Tsunami Wave!" This iconic Aquos ability was improved in a lot of ways. First, Siege had one of his 'black boxes' merge with the ground. A great water burst forth from underneath, sweeping all of Siege's opponents off of their feet. Then, the mighty collapse was upon them all.
"Good grief man..." Rafe commented in awe of the power Kendrick and Siege were putting out, and...their countermeasure against the Evil Copy. That was brilliant. No question about that.
"I'm actually fine with this," Wolfurio said despite being flipped over by the sudden rush of water. He placed his shield underneath his feet so he could land safely and surf along the wave before he was hit by the crashing wave. "As long as I'm not included in this, that is."
Wolfurio cut himself a path through the wave itself, but the sheer volume of water made this nearly impossible. He had to squeak his way through the tiny hole he made in the wave to escape the crash. While he did avoid any damage, he had to account for the substantial increase in the water level, which left Wolfurio without a shield since he was standing on it. This was because his swimming skills were...painfully average, if not borderline laughable.
"I'm starting to regret not attacking them while they were down. Hehehe," Rafe laughed off. "That was a devastating move, if we all don't know that already. Gave him quite the field advantage too."
Contestir had definitely gotten beat up by the combined efforts of his two opponents. It took a couple of seconds for Contestir's body to surface. When he was finally able to be seen, it was clear that he was not smiling about the sudden gank.
"Ouch," Contestir groaned. Being struck directly by Wolfurio's Lanzato and taking the full force of the Tsunami Wave ability was nothing to scoff at. That was surely a lot of damage dealt in a short amount of time; however, Contestir didn't look bruised at all. His armor held up just fine.
"Wow... Even I have to admit I was impressed with that one. No one has ever gotten around that spell like that before. You're good," Kianna admitted. "Just as I thought you'd be. Ability activate!"
"Hold up..." Contestir halted. "We have guests..."

Indeed, they did. Drago was underwater as they spoke, looking up at all of them. Siege was close to Contestir, which shows that he was getting ready to attack him in some way. He stopped when he realized who was there. It was Drago who was was empowered by his imperfect Switch Code form, which allowed him to breathe underwater.
"Drago! You're here!?"
"Nope," he lied.
"Oh, well, when you do get here, I was having a little bit of practice with these fine folk over here. Just thought you should know. Nothing dangerous or anything. Just sparring."
"Yeah, sure. Are you finished?"
"Um, well...I don't know?"
"I mean, if you're still fighting, I'm not gonna just ruin your moment or anything. You do look pretty good right now."
"You really mean that? Aw shucks! I knew that I was-" Before Siege finished his sentence, all of the water evaporated due to the high temperature coming from Drago's body. "Of course you'd do that. I never get to do anything..."
With the flood receding, Noland rose from a green portal to join Kendrick. He looked around to see who he was dealing with. He didn't want to make it seem like he was there to invade or anything. He didn't have time for that anyhow.
"Sorry to interrupt your battling, but I'd like to know if there's a problem with taking my brother back to Earth," Noland said to cut straight to the point.
"...Oh my..." Rafe said in astonishment of the power level he was feeling. "What an amazingly strong power level..."
"I don't think that is fit to describe how high it is... It's massive..." Wolfurio commented in awe of it as well.
"And you said he is your brother? Then...that means..."
"The 'Redeemer'...!?" Both Rafe and Wolfurio turned to the Resistor and bowed to him out of respect for his power and his deeds from the past. "It is a true honor to meet you, Dragonoid. Unlike any other."
"I would certainly hope there are no issues, but... The lady over there is the Emperor's right hand... I think her words matter more than mine in this instance."
Kianna was awestruck when she realized who was standing in front of them. This was THE GUY. If she wasn't in a position of great importance, she'd be fan-girling like no one has ever seen her do before. If it wasn't for this guy, they probably wouldn't be standing where they are now. It was all too much to take in.
"Oh...uh...right... I'm sorry. I'm just...very happy to finally see you is all. You're very popular on Neathia and Gundalia for getting rid of Barodius for us," Kianna said with a nervous smile on her face. "Kendrick's capture was from procedure as was the rest of our guests. People from foreign places began popping up all over the planet all at once. We were just making sure there weren't any bad guys is all. We found one very bad guy who should be getting the 'treatment' in a couple of minutes. We're very sorry for the misunderstanding."
"You're free to go whenever you like if you have the power to transport yourselves back to your home. But...before you go...can we get a picture first...? Please...?"
Post by Noland Hardy on Dec 30, 2018 6:44:30 GMT -5
"Um...okay...?" Noland agreed?
"Who would've guessed that you'd have fans here too?" Drago remarked. "Makes me scared to ask how high in demand I am since I'm the one who killed them..."
"Yeah, so, two things. One, could I speak to the Emperor, please? Two, is there a Neathian around? I'm now having to search all over the universe for my missing friends, so if there's one here, that'd be great." Noland seemed to want to cut this whole engagement short simply due to the fact that he was getting concerned. The Gundalians didn't really hurt Kendrick, so that was good. What about everyone else though? Nero was about to get eaten...
"We're sorry if it sounds like we're in a rush. That's because we are," Drago clarified.

Atom: Yeah, no. The value of the materials within that device were worth less than $100. The specifics of it are more difficult, but the overall material cost isn't any more than that.

Atom: Anti-magic Adamantine is quite plentiful in other Realities. Too bad you can't go to them. As for the Quantum Flux Anchor, never heard of something like that before.
