Andrew continue writing things down. He had a surprised look on his face. He didn't expect for Deon to give him all of this information. It was like a dream come true for this investigation, assuming everything was accurate.
"I don't want to take too much of your time, so I'll ask one more question," Andrew relayed. "How dangerous are these people overall? Not just in terms of power level, but everything that would make them pose a threat."

"Power levels are the least important thing, but these powers allow us to compete with Bakugan and Achron beings by ourselves," Deon confirmed. "Their most dangerous trait is their ability to go unnoticed. You say that you're suspicious of a Tribunal member existing in the ranks of Eden or the Silver Knights. What about the local, state, and federal governments? What about foreign countries? Mega corporations? Video game publishers who lick and suck micro and macro transactions? You're talking about trillions of dollars they could have access to. They could be funding research, arms development, education, and so on and so forth. The way you live your life, the way you get paid, the way you die...could all be the products of the people you're looking to bring down."
"And you know what's worse than all of that? Knowing that there's barely a thing you can do about it. They've been around for as long as we've existed. The way we've began our current systems can't hold a candle to what they've been through. I know you guys must be thinking of stopping them, but...even for you all, I don't see how it's going to be done. You'd have to face their Fathers and Mothers. These have been the most powerful people in all of history. Can legends such as yourselves stop that? I really don't know..."

The conversation ended right there, because Deon got a notification on his BakuMeter that there was an unwanted visitor arriving outside: Tabitha, the newly-appointed Aquos Spartan who was secretly a member of the Tribunal.
She walked inside of the building with a cheerful disposition. She looked excited to learn all about the new subspecies that have been found. The one that caught her interest was the Tentaclear.
"So...the regular Tentaclear are only found in Haos, but these...are Darkus? Interesting..." Tabitha observed through her thoughts. "Father Tinsley would love to hear about this..."
She noticed the presence of Deon, the Resistors, and...that man that Vestal hates. She didn't turn toward them immediately since she was so invested into admiring the Tentaclear in all of their glory. It wasn't until she looked around and saw their reflection off of the glass that she decided to turn around and talk. They were all standing there watching...
"Oh..." she gasped. "Um, I'm sorry. Am I intruding?"

"..." Noland was looking very hard at Tabitha. No, it wasn't because he was attracted to her. Some people will easily get that idea. It was this energy that he was feeling... It was disgusting...
"...Those are some lousy countermeasures... Do you really think I'm not going to feel that?" Noland questioned Tabitha. He materialized Apollo's Hand into his right hand and held it at his side. When he did, a bunch of security in the building brandished special firearms to let him know that being the Master Blaze didn't mean he gets to threaten anyone he wants to.
"So you guys ruined my relationship with Petra. Big deal, but now you're going after the Spartans too?" Noland said in disbelief. "I don't care if I end up wasting this planet. You're not getting them. I won't let it happen."

Tabitha was a little startled at Noland blowing up like that. Of course, this was all for show. Every armed person in the building was looking at Noland like he was crazy, so that was good. That was very good.
"Okay then..." Tabitha reacted with a hint of shock. "I don't know what it is that I'm guilty of, but whatever this is about, I would be happy to talk this over and avoid any of us using force... I haven't been a Spartan that long, and I haven't been anywhere without supervision until now. I'm sure that whatever you're putting on me is a misunderstanding..."

Deon was surprised at this sudden reaction from Noland too, but his was genuine. He almost forgot that he is supposed to call this in, but...he found a way to defuse this situation... Hopefully, it works. He knew how powerful Noland was. Even with the improved law enforcement and whatnot, those guys are no match for him.
"Then again, it couldn't be," Deon shrugged. "But, that's why we have a number for people to call in case there's a Spartan or Royal Guard officer misbehaving or whatever we can be sued for on Earth. That way, a proper investigation can be conducted. This right here is how barbarians settle their score. You aren't a barbarian, Noland. You're a hero to this planet and yours. You don't need to get yourself caught up in trouble here, because if you make a move to attack her, that'd be a serious crime. I can't let you do that to yourself. You've done too much."

Markus placed a hand on Noland's shoulder, and then moved closer to whisper something in his ear.
"I don't doubt your credibility on this, but these people have no idea what you can do. To them, we look like a bunch of crazies," Markus advised him. "Put it away, and let's go. We'll take note of this. If we try doing something about it now, we're not only pissing off these officers. The Spartans and even Xavier himself could be looking to get us, and you know what they made with Lace. He probably has something worse..."

"..." Noland was adamant on finishing Tabitha off here. That would give him some much needed relief, because this would be an impending disaster he could prevent. He wasn't so lucky with the Angels. At least he could help the Spartans...or he thought he could...
"I never cared about committing crimes. I only care about doing what is necessary, and what's necessary is making sure this Tribunal shithead doesn't even get the chance to hurt anyone like her cohorts did to those Angels," Noland informed Deon.
"Let's get out of here, Noland..." Drago spoke up. "...Time to go."
"..."
"Heed their words..." a voice in Noland's head urged him to do. It sounded close to Noland's own a little bit... Demaryius...?
Noland reluctantly put the weapon away, but not without making sure his statement was made. "I'm sorry, but anyone who associates with that woman or any Tribunal member can kiss my ass. That includes you, the Spartans, and even Xavier and Dasia, Deon," Noland laid out to Deon. "If I come back here and she's alive, I'm going to make sure she's not. Charge me with threatening her. I don't give a fuck. There's no way in hell I'm allowing them to destroy something else I care about."

"...The task force is gonna have a busy day thanks to this..." Andrew thought to himself. He knew Noland wasn't bullshitting, so...he was going to have to figure out how Noland was able to piece that together. But, for now...
"Thanks for the private tour and for accommodating us for longer than usual visitors," Andrew thanked. "We'll be going now." Andrew started directing Noland and Markus outside. He stayed close just in case any of the officers tried to take a shot or swing at Noland.
When they left via a dimensional portal, Andrew decided to have some words with Noland while they were on their way back to Earth.
"I can't have you on anymore excursions unless your power is absolutely needed," Andrew informed him. "You potentially put our contact with a much-needed informant in jeopardy. You're too hotheaded after what happened. After we get to the bottom of what you felt in there, you're benched. Not up for discussion."

"I couldn't care less. Before we went, you specifically authorized us to use lethal force if it was to guarantee our safety. She was standing right there, and we already know what one of them did against Markus and Tank. She could've killed any of us for all we know," Noland countered. "If you and everyone else wants people like that kicking around, then you and the task force can look stupid in front of them all you want. Until all of you grow some balls and decide to make one of them an example, I'm finished with all of you."
"Noland, that's enough," Drago ordered him.
"Whatever. You kids have fun playing with these idiots. I'm out of here," Noland replied. Right when he said that, the portal opened on Earth to spit them out. They all landed on the floor from inside of the CIA Hidden Base, but, before he left, he had to get one last thing.
"Neat. You actually got the destination right this time. Hope you keep that up with the Tribunal. Not like you've showed it," Noland spat before 'jumping' out of there on his own, leaving Drago where he was.
"..." Drago was utterly speechless. "He went to Alaska... He's safe..."

"Never thought I'd say this, but...I agree with everything he said. You can't seem to ever get it right, can you?" Makoto spoke up.
"That's Vestal's problem. Not ours," Andrew countered.
"Since when did you ever care about doing things by the book?" Makoto wondered. "Didn't you hear a damn thing Deon said? These rules that you're following could've been made by the ones that are trying to kill us. They're controlling you, and you're letting them win."
"I'm not having this discussion with you. As of right now, you've worn out your welcome and my patience," Andrew shut down. "Markus, let's just call it a day. We'll come back to this once you fulfill whatever obligation you made with him, if you even want to honor it that is."

"...Alright," Markus accepted. "Take it easy then." Markus waved as he walked away from the conversation. As he was going, he was a little lost. It wasn't because of Noland's reaction, which was expected due to how much suffering he must be going through after all that has happened over the years. It was what Noland's reaction implies is going down on Vestal.
"Roxy replaced...by someone like that?" Markus thought. "I can't believe that Vestal would even allow that to happen... What are they doing...? What are they NOT doing...?"
"Don't think about it too much," Gargulion warned him. "We'll take these guys on one step at a time. They're getting in our head too much. Let's stop that."
"...Heard," Markus acknowledged. "I just hope Noland makes it out okay..."

At Lydia's apartment...
Lydia came home from work three hours ago. There were several surgeries she had to take care of, but it was shockingly easy for her. While she could just let Maste adjust body of every person or heal them she prefers doing it by herself and let Maste teach her how to perform better. Two have bonded well and have been working well in all aspects. Maste enjoys aiding her and not just because they are friends, but because Lydia is the most promising of Achron blood she had ever laid eyes upon. With Lydia being taught so many things there is no doubt she will accelerate the process of evolution for humans and potentially for those in Vestal and Advent; it is a revolutionary breakthrough that could make these races step into the future several millennia sooner.
However, all fancy and great things aside...
"Feeling better?" Lydia inquired upon arriving into the living room with two cups of tea. There was Petra sitting by the table, still visibly uncomfortable. Vergilius in orb form was near her and Leon's orb was placed on a soft cushion at the center of the table.

"I guess." Petra replied with stutters. She looked up and and took one of the cups. "Thanks." She muttered and placed the cup in front.
Vergilius was silent. He would prefer to be with Sydney, but he had little choice on the matter and had to remain with Petra for the time being. Alex told him in secret about something he would try on Sydney to help her get out of this tricky situation. Vergilius lacks confidence in that field, but they certainly lack options. As for Leon- he did not warm up or find time to defend himself and instead defended Vergilius. That kept bothering him... he did not know what to say to his friend- it felt like betrayal no matter how many excuses you bring up. Leon was fully recovered by Maste; Bakugan that not too long ago was known as Angelight or Devilin... sometimes recognized as the weakest of Eden's Bakugans and yet... she sure now seems like the strongest right now. Thanks to that miracle-worker Leon just needs rest and that is all. Petra and Sydney though... especially Sydney will need therapy; hopefully Lydia can aid with that.
"So... why ain't you after Noland or... refusing to talk to me?" Petra questioned. Lydia is the only other Eden member that was not acting weird around Petra.

Maste entered the room in orb form, flying towards the table and landing on its edge by Petra. In her previous form she was not able to do such thing because she is not a true Bakugan, but thanks to her new powers she can imitate the orb form as much as she likes to fit in with the crowd.
Lydia looked at Petra and then looked back at the tea cup. "Vice president is unable to assert control over me and make me act in such ways towards Noland. Other than that, I consider him my ally and have no reason for hostilities. People refused to talk to you or relay information because you were being used and they were under a spell." Lydia calmly explained to Petra and took a sip of tea.
