The next morning at the CIA Secret Base in No Man's Land... Montai was sitting in a chair near the the battle arena with her laptop in her lap. She was monitoring data on two combatants that were testing out some simulation software that the armed forces were currently using. She had Nero's data on one side and...Seiki's on the other? Indeed. The Ventus Legendary Soldier was having herself a practice bout against Nero. Their simulation was in No Man's Land just as it was when Nero himself was the villain. It was his souped-up Hades vs Ahio. It was now known as Myriad Hades. Just like Hydranoid, it has four heads now. What separates it from other Hydranoid like Alana's, Maria's, and Necro's was that Hades has access to their respective skillsets, albeit at a less powerful rendition. This makes Hades more versatile while still maintaining what makes it so dangerous: insane destruction. ( Mini-Boss Theme)

Seiki was getting put through a workout with Nero. This mech's destructive power combined with Nero's experience made it one hell of a challenge. Currently, Hades was trying to mow Ahio down with its guns. The blasts were huge, around a quarter of Ahio's size. The pressure from these blasts felt like it could melt flesh in an instant...
"Jeez...now that I know what it feels like to really brawl...Nero's really strong..." Seiki thought to herself. "All the more reason to give this one a lot more effort then..."
Ahio wasn't having too much trouble dodging Hades' attacks, but soon, she was going to need some help. It would be boring to keep moving side-to-side and up-and-down the whole fight, especially when Hades could eventually hit her. "Ability activate! Aerostorm!"
Ahio quickly moved in circles in three spots on the field. Her high-speed movement helped form tornadoes that were so strong that simply labeling them as EF5 misrepresents their strength. It's dense wind power completely negated all of Hades' blasts and threatened to carry it and the surrounding area into oblivion.

Hades' internal parts were making some annoying noise due to all of this wind. It didn't help that it was being pulled towards the tornadoes. Andrew himself was finding it hard to stay on the ground himself. He had to do something about that quickly.
"Ability activate! Myriad Merge!" Andrew declared. This was an ability that could function in one of four different ways, each way coinciding with a Hydranoid species' power. In this situation, Andrew was going to employ the power of Hades itself rather than rely on the other species' powers.
Hades opened its mouths and sucked all of the tornadoes in. Rather than assimilate their energy to add to its reserves - as the precursor ability from the previous module would've done - it stores them into one of its dimensions. It could spit them back out at any time, but no one really knows when...
"That had some impressive power...but it didn't impress me that much," Andrew smugly remarked.

"Oh...alright then..." Ahio sighed. She wasn't happy about her attack being dealt with so easily, but she didn't allow that feeling to slow her down. In fact, she got even faster. What was once a blur in the sky started producing sonic booms. Her plan was to position herself within the 360 degree circle around Hades so she could use her next ability without it getting countered by Andrew's godly abilities.
"Sonikkubūmu!" Seiki immediately activated. Ahio's scales opened briefly to unleash gusts of wind powerful enough to break the sound barrier. This was done by Ahio vibrating her body at a high enough speed to achieve this speed rating and to produce staggering forces of power that were sent towards Hades as sonic booms. It was unknown how many sonic booms were actually fired since it happened in an instant, but it was safe to assume that being hit by even three of them is asking to be dug six feet under.
Hades was ragdolled almost instantly and was getting torn apart by this ability. It can count itself lucky it was a mechanical Bakugan, because if it could feel pain, who knows how well it would hold up. "I was told not to care about that too much, if at all," Seiki responded to Nero's assessment of her previous attack.

It was fortunate enough that Hades was built to take apocalyptic blows, or this machine would've had its internal systems busted from this stunt. It didn't seem like much effort was given into producing an attack like that. Fascinating...
".." For now, Andrew chose to keep his mouth shut. He was secretly startled by the sudden display of force, which is something he's not usually prone to do. Quite the impression was made on him then...
"Ability activate! Forbidden Shell!" he activated. This was a jacked-up version of the Zero Shell ability Maria used against Noland two years ago. Hades' body was encased in an ice covering to prevent further harm against it. The surrounding area started to freeze to temperatures well below sub-zero, making it more difficult for organic beings to perform physical feats and to receive enough oxygen after strenuous exercise.
From here, Hades can mix-and-match the Hydranoid species' powers in any way he wanted to. He could passively increase its power via battle energy, or produce a black mist that can cause necrosis. In fact...that seemed to be a very good idea at the moment. Ahio's regenerative healing factor comes from her speed, not by some special power like the Switch Code. If necrosis reaches her wings and feet, then it'll be time for Seiki to high-tail it right on back inside Vestroia to see where she went wrong.
So, Hades set the situation up accordingly. As for how Seiki intends to combat that, it was anyone's guess.

"Oh my..." Seiki gasped. This was an extreme move that was likely to cost her any hopes of winning. Ahio stopped to look at her impending doom coming right for her, but - unlike previous times - she didn't show any signs of uncertainty. They knew what they had to do to survive, so they just had to trust their training...and their instincts.
"If you can't punch your way through a barrier...then just go through it..." Noland's voice reminded her. Seiki knew just what to do.
"Hen'i," Seiki declared. Ahio flew towards Hades without worrying about he death mist and the surrounding temperatures. Before coming into contact with the gas, Ahio vibrated her molecules in such a way that she was able to achieve the ability to phase. This is what she used to go straight through to Hades' ice containment without suffering any harm. She briefly materialized herself when she got inside of it, knocked Hades out of it, and then shattered the barrier by phase-cutting it. Ahio then flew high into the air to prepare for another attack.

Hades was sent flying back from the tackle. It stayed upright as it skid along the ground with its feet. It had to slow its momentum by placing its hands on the ground in front of it. With some effort, it managed to slow itself down, but now it would have to slow Ahio's momentum down before things get even worse.
"Hm...guess my tricks from our earlier battles won't cut it anymore. Nice job," Andrew congratulated. "Now...let's see how you deal with this..."
Seemingly getting more serious, Andrew put one card into play, one that would hopefully be able to turn the tide. "Ability activate! Battle Sphere!" Hades surrounded itself in a transparent, spherical barrier. Its power was proportionate to the amount of battle energy in the area. The longer the battle lasts and how much power the combatants put into their abilities, the stronger it will get.
Unfortunately - due to not being the original practitioner of this ability - the energy sphere will have to vent its energy to not overload and possibly explode, which would harm Hades. To compensate for this, the attack was engineered to unleash razing pellets and laser blasts in all directions to ensure that the energy sphere was stable.

Ahio kept her cool and took the incoming hellstorm directly. Once again, this was very strange, a huge departure from how she used to be. She was able to use her speed to maneuver around the blasts, but the sheer power behind the attacks made sure to burn Ahio each time she was passed over. It won't be long now before she's cooked and ready to be served.
"Um...help!?" Ahio screeched.
"Wow..." Seiki sighed. A part of her was still in shock over how powerful Nero actually is, and how strong her powers must be now that she's able to compete with it. It really puts all of her progress into perspective. She's now starting to understand what it really means to be one of them... "Blow Away."
A vintage ability from the Ventus soldiers, Blow Away allows Ahio to summon a gust of wind through the flapping of her wings. It is strong enough to carry opposing attacks away or Bakugan; however, thanks to Ahio's innate speedster physiology, this ability can be used to a much higher degree like Oberus did. With it, all of the blasts were blown away as well as the barrier Hades had around it. She sent the attacks into outer space so that they would never reach her again.
"Whew...I really thought I was toast there. Thanks," Ahio thanked.
"Of course," Seiki acknowledged. "But...you still have to beat it. We can't keep dodging forever..."

"...Huh..." Andrew was noticeably stunned by Seiki's sudden growth. "As far as I'm concerned...you did just that...for now."
Montai ended the simulation right there. Both Andrew and Seiki were standing on opposite sides of the arena as if nothing happened. This would imply that the software being used to simulate the brawling environment may be due to reality manipulation, which is very impressive given the U.S. track record of always being behind.
"Looking really good there, Seiki," Montai commended. "Very proud of what you're doing. Keep it up!"
"Hm...Seiki...remind me again... Why are you seeking power?" Andrew requested to know.

"Hmmmm...." Seiki hummed as she thought about what she was going to say and how she was going to say it. Her reasoning may come as a surprise to them. "Two reasons... One is a little selfish: personal satisfaction. I was tired of being...well, you know, weak. And two...because people believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself. One of them sacrificed herself so that I could live, and all of the things she said about me even though she didn't know me...really inspired me to pick myself up and become strong."
"And there's Noland. Can't forget about that," Ahio chimed in unnecessarily.
"...I did make a promise to him..." Seiki admitted. "So...I'm here. As a Legendary Soldiers, Resistor, or just a plain old friend."

"I have to say... This transformation of yours...I can see what you're talking about, and it inspires me as well. I'm happy for you," Andrew admitted with a warm smile.
"Me too," Montai agreed.
"You're strong. Very strong, but now you need to get stronger," Andrew informed her. "If you're truly serious about becoming a full-fledged brawler...you would go show Noland up one of these days, show him who's really the top dog. What do you say to that?"

"I say you're out of your mind!" Tank shouted with the scene cutting straight to him and the meeting of the minds between himself, Markus, Houston Keene, and associates. They were in the Hall of Fame room at Legion.
"That's not very professional," Gladion advised him.
"With all due respect, Mr. Keene, there's no way in heaven or hell that people are going to go for that. Who would really want to watch someone taking turns setting gate cards, throwing in Bakugan that can only defend themselves with 1 card with the setter having the advantage, and then watch as some poor dude gets swept with Tsunami Wave or something?"

"Tank, Tank, Tank, let me explain something to you," Houston started. "You...are absolutely right. Mr. Brackeen, what in the world was that?"
"What? What's wrong with variety?" Mr. Brackeen wondered.
"Variety should NEVER be included just for variety. It has to make sense, especially when we're trying to solve a specific problem in the brawling scene right now. That, and...Tank does have a point. That's like telling White to have three on three fights and have fighters only throw one punch or kick."
"But people want strategy, not just nukes," Brackeen argued.

"No disrespect, Mr. Keene, but I'm really close to getting up and walking out," Markus admitted. "Mr. Brackeen is saying things that have nothing to do with why we're here. We're here to talk about the barriers and solutions to the CURRENT issue of views and stadium attendance going down by 30% over the past year. If any of you honestly believe that implementing a new brawling format is going to fix the actual problems right now, then we may as well pack our stuff and leave. Introducing new things does not and will not put a bandaid over what's really going on here."
"If you want to talk about barriers, we need to be talking about how to make sure what happened with the Hurranian doping doesn't happen again. We need to be talking about how there's no one in the scene aside from Tank and I since we're the only main faces out there that haven't been banned for doping or are suspended due to involvement with those people. We also need to talk about why people don't feel safe since Tank and I are showing vulnerabilities in the barrier infrastructure. We DO NOT need to be talking about Brackeen's ideologies right now."

"Mr. Brackeen was just leaving. No worries there," Houston responded.
"Wait, what?" Brackeen asked in shock.
"He's no longer in the meeting and is off to do other things," Houston said since Brackeen wasn't getting the hint.
"I'm still here..." Brackeen stupidly responded.
"Get the fuck out of here," Houston gave up and ordered. Brackeen did so in earnest. "Alright. I'll come clean. He's probably the biggest critic right now in terms of the brawling community. Even though less than a quarter of the community actually agrees with what he's saying, I still brought him here since I thought he'd at least put some ideas on the table that we're not thinking of, but I guess it was all a front to push his agenda some more. You're right, Hederick. That's not why we're here."
"I'm gonna be honest with you two. What happened with those Hurranians may have damaged the brand to the point of no return. The current political climate is that Bakugan are weapons wielded by savages who want to destroy your family. There's that, and there are conspiracy theories going around that the Army is beefing up their ranks with some...less than ethical means. It's like the government isn't trying to hide their corruption anymore. It's like one big business empire that I can't compete with, because...I unfortunately operate in this damned country where even someone like me can be elected President."
"So, with you two knowing the ins and outs of what's really going on with the community right now, I need you to help me understand what we need to do here so we can attempt to bounce back from this."
