Now back to the battle, with the smoke cleared just after Drayper dealt the final blow, Dragonus, Knightorrior, and Crushrayder were gone! and were replaced by a new Special Fusion Bakugan! Darkus Khragonex! "With this new body of DoomFire Dragonus, Strike Knightorrior, and Assault Knight Crushrayder, I am now . . . . . DARKUS KHRAGONEX!!!!!" Khragonex is a half-dragon and a half-humanoid like Bakugan. He roared loudly as he rose. "So you're the new Bakugan?" Calvin felt surprised to see an alternate evolution.

".....WHAT!? A Bakugan fusion?! This wasn't part of the plan!"
Drayper: "Hehe, this is interesting. Its power level is enormous, even matching mine."
Skull was surprised to hear these words. How could this have happened? Drayper dealt the final blow, but a bakufusion saved his life. Whatever could have caused this, he had a good hope that this evolution is nothing. Drayper's power is absolute, and nothing should be able to stand against it.
"No evolution will change your fate Calvin. Ability activate! Darkus Burst Explosion!"
Drayper let out a roar, and multiple explosions scattered around the field, similar to his old Darkus Explosion.

Khragonex stood still, as he wasn't hit by any damage at all. "Heh! Is that all you've got?!" Khragonix said, jumping in the air. "Watch out Khragonex! Ability Activate!!!" Calvin's ability shined purple, as he was activating it. Khragonix's wings was covered in purple electricity, and put both of his hands in front of him. The electricity went into the center of his palms, and he fired a devastating blast towards all opponents! Causing a massive explosion on them! He easily defeated Drayper, Sorceror, and DragonStrike, with one shot! Returning them to ball form! "Incredible!!! Never seen that before! Now I get why Knightorrior and Dragonus wanted that!" Calvin said, feeling surprised.

Due to the immense power of Khragonix, defeating all 3 of his bakugans caused him to lose life gauge seperately to each of his bakugans, causing his life gauge to hit 0.
"...............I lost........again! But how?!"
Drayper rolled towards Skull, and said to him in a saddened voice, "I'm sorry Master. I've failed you again."
Skull looked at Drayper, and thought of the progress they made as being partners. The destruction, power, and the joy of just killing other bakugans. That is what made him as strong as he was, not because of ambition alone. The Black Dimension was a turning point in his power, as it tested him to survive in the darkness for nearly a year, and it allowed his bakugan to evolve to be stronger than everyone, but destiny has made it impossible for him to obtain true power....for now.
".......Drayper, it's not your fault. You've done the best you could, but the fusion is what got us."
Skull took all 3 of his bakugan in hand, and looked around at the darkness. Skull's final words to him were,
"I will admit, you're good Calvin Kuro, but farewell, my friend."
After Skull's last words, Calvin was transported back to the Dragon Arena in World Championship. Skull and Drayper disappeared, fading away.

Back on Earth.
Calvin stood in front of the entrance of WC, along with Khragonex standing on his shoulder. The crowd saw Calvin and was happy to see him back! They all approached Calvin, asking how the battle was, and Calvin responded them "Hah! No sweat! Everything is safe now!" After Calvin's words, everyone cheered harder! "Calvin, you're the man!", "You're the hero!", "You're the best dude!" The World Soldiers (Lucy, Vector, Benshiro, Alexander, Raven, Daisuke, Xian Tsu, Rei Kumo, Minato Lance) then approached and congratulated Calvin's victory. Before the World Soldiers were about give the World Fighters (Calvin, Alex, Raven) a final farewell and leave WC; Lucy shook hands with Calvin, while Alexander shook hands with Vector, and while Raven shook hands with Benshiro. "Alright then! See you later guys! Hope we can see each other again!" After the final words by the World Fighters, the World Soldiers began to leave, flying away with their airship.  Before the very end, Calvin looked at the sky, seeing Dark Calvin as in his vision, with a smile. |
