Soccer Field: Vancent Twins vs Crash!

After the Vancent Twins have taken Calvin down, they followed Calvin in the portal to travel on Earth. While they were finding Calvin, they had to battle another Dragon Defender: Crash! Seeing as how the twins made a powerful combination move that defeated Calvin, will Crash be able to avenge Calvin alone?

"So, you're the next opponent we have?" She yawned, rolling her eyes. "Honestly you don't seem any more difficult to defeat than that other idiot, so this should be quick."

Grabbing a Gate Card from her pocket she tossed it onto the ground. "Eternal Rainstorms blanket the shore! Bakugan Brawl! Arise Aquos Kallua!" The dragon rose from the ground, making a much larger crator in the earth than it had on Olympia. "Looks like this planet is just as fragile as its inhabitants." Christy said laughing. "Try not to crush it Kallua."

[Caleb Vancent]

Caleb flipped some hair out of his eye, which was taken out of place by the small tremor Kallua had made just by appearing. "Oh wow, that's just plain pathetic." He said, grabbing the small red bakugan from his pocket. "Aratac, don't beat this guy down too bad."

Tossing it straight up, Aratac stood in midair, landing gracefully next to Kallua. "Ah, a new opponent. I hope you put up more of a challenge than that Khragonex did, he was hardly even a threat." He said, erupting in laughter.

[Crash Terron]

Crash looked across the field. He didn't even move from the tremor, he was used to it. Facing him was a white haired Olympian, and a beautiful white haired girl. While his face didn't show it, Crash did feel something, but he didn't know what it was he was feeling. It was very weird, but Crash HAD to impress her.


Crash: So... You guys are the ones that I have to beat? Fine by me. Too bad I don't know your names.


Crash shot a quick glance at the girl, and pulled out Quakeerion, and whispered to him.


Crash: Quakeerion, we gotta impress this chick.


Quakeerion: Gotcha.


Crash threw Quakeerion onto the battlefield.


Crash: Bakugan brawl! Stand, Subterra Quakeerion!


Quakeerion appeared from his ball form, his Sub Terra attribute coloring and craggy, rock like skin being pronounced. He opened his stunning electric blue eyes, those that would belong to an Aquos bakugan, and looked at the two bakugan facing him. He hit his long tail against the ground, and stood up, revealing a rather large crater as well. He opened his jaws, revealing rows upon rows of sharp, white teeth that could cut through almost anything, and released a powerful roar. The roar shook the very foundation of the stands, the rattling of the metal could probably be heard a few miles away.


Crash: I am Crash Terron, and this is my partner Quakeerion! We will avenge the defeat of our friend Calvin!


Quakeerion: Face our power!


Crash: Let's get this hoedown started!

[Christy Vancent]

Christy smiled shaking her head. "Oh wow, where have our manners gone? My name is Christy Vancent, and this is my twin brother Caleb. We've been sent here to destroy you." She said, smiling. He'd get the point soon enough. "Mutate...morph." She said calmly, looking up at the two glowing goliaths above the three brawlers. The glowing deceased and now stood Mutant Kallua and Mutant Aratac. Their appearances were now highly distorted, looking like the two had blended together. "Go Kallua! Attack!"

Kallua roared, drawing his head back. "Tsunami Stryker + Ensnare!" It roared, blasting a web out, entangling Quakeerion before blasting it with gallons upon gallons of water. "And that's not all!" He roared, sending hundreds of volts of electricity through Quakeerion's body.

[Crash Terron]

Crash smiled. He loved when people tried using electric attacks against Quakeerion. He did like the combination attack, however.


Crash: Nice combo, but seriously? An ELECTRIC attack? You do know that Quakeerion is Subterra right?


Quakeerion: Crash... We haven't activated our key yet. This slightly hurts.


Crash's face turned red. He was pretty embarrassed at the pitiful mistake he just made.


Crash: Oh right... Time for you guys to meet Terracodor! Battle Key, IGNITION!


A screen popped up on Crash's BakuScanner depicting a key going into ball form Quakeerion's back, and turning. In monster form, Quakeerion's wings spouted out of his back, and he began to grow to double his size. A metallic film began growing over his skin, forming almost a second skin. Parts of the metal skin propped up and became spikes, forming an armor. This kept growing until Quakeerion was fully covered in the metal. The electricity dissipated when the armor was done growing, showing that the metal had no signs of conductivity. Quakeerion simply slashed his way out of the net.


Crash: You guys might not know what this material is. This metal that formed around Quakeerion's body is none other than the metal Quantonium, the rarest metal in the universe! It is a nearly impenetrable defense, and there is so little of it that a pound could buy you a small planet! And guess what?


Crash smirked.


Crash: Quakeerion produces it naturally!


Crash swiped an ability through his Scanner.


Crash: Ability activate! Resonance!


Quakeerion hit one of his spikes. The sound produced from the metal vibrating was excruciatingly painful towards Pyrus and Aquos bakugan. Quakeerion had a sound for every attribute. The sound made Kallua and Aratac fall to their knees, or the closest things they had to knees at least.


Crash: No use changing your attribute if you can. Quake here has sounds for ALL the attributes!

Christy winced, Kallua wasn't going to stand much of that sound. "Good thing this will work then. Battle Key Unlock!" The battle key appeared on Christy's scanner, and showed attatching to Kallua's back.

The reality was that a metal had been attatched to Kallua's body and was spreading, despite his thrashing. Two new heads then spawned, composed completely of that metal. "Surprised?" He said, standing upright again as the Mutate Morph began to spread the same metal across Aratac as well. "This metal creates a solid armor, almost a second skin, which will cover my ears and keep that sound from irritating me any further." He said, letting out a roar.

"If electricity won't work, lets try drowning you!" He said flying up into the air with Aratac. "Aquos Armada!" He roared, blasting billions of gallons of water into the stadium, filling it to the brim and submerging Quakeerion. "I hope you can swim!" He said laughing, and diving into the water after his foe.

Crash was surprised. Where did THEY get QUANTONIUM? However, now wasn't the time to be wondering. Now was the time to avenge Calvin, and impress that pretty girl he was brawling.


Crash: Nice innovation, but you should see what Quakeerion can do when he is angry! Ability activate! Crash Laser!


Quakeerion flew into the air and released a powerful blast of energy from his mouth, slamming it into Kallua and Aratac, sending Kallua spiraling towards the ground, then hit the ground, forming a drain, so to speak, that washed all the water down to the sublevels of the earth.


Quakeerion: Who needs swimming when you can fly?

Kallua managed to climb his way out of the crater in the ground. "Now...I'm mad...Rain of Eternal Sorrow!" He roared, blasting a small energy beam at Quakeerion. Quakeerion may have dodged it with relative ease, but that didn't matter. "Oh...I wasn't trying to hit you with it."

Immediately after that sentence, Kallua started to glow a deep blue and golfball sized hail began to fall from the sky at speeds fast enough to surpass that of a bullet, however the twins and their bakugan were surrounded by Kallua's energy, protecting them from the bombardment of hail.

Looking around, the bleachers began to crumble when the hail destroyed the support beams, the nets were reduced to bits and pieces of rubble, even the structures surrounding the stadium began to crumble into nothing. "And as reinforcement..." He said, looking at the ground. "Widow Maker!" He roared, blasting oil all around the ground before lighting it ablaze with Aratac's ability. "Stay up there and become swiss cheese or come down here and fry. Your choice!" He said laughing.

[Crash Terron]

Crash was impressed, yet feeling the pressure at the same time. He thought on his feet, and remembered one of his abilities.


Crash: Pretty AND battle smart? I don't see many girls like you around here, Christy. Too bad, too. It would be more interesting to see battlers like you around.


Crash swiped an ability through his Scanner, making the screen glow brown.


Crash: Ability activate! Rotation Shield!


Quakeerion rolled up into a ball, and began spinning. Slowly at first, but then his velocity sped up, his rotating accelerating by the second. The hail didn't affect him at all, in fact, the high speed rotating sent the hail flying back at Kallua and Aratac, pelting their own shield, but with nearly twice the power. The hailstones kept pelting, making dents, pushing and pushing their way through, trying to make an opening, until, finally, one made it through. The hailstones hit Kallua and Aratac in their many eyes, causing horrible pain. Crash smiled a cocky smile.


Crash: I'd hate to make a pretty girl and her brother suffer like this. Why don't you just give up, and we call it even?

[Caleb Vancent]

Caleb scowled, rolling his eyes at the comments the brawler was making toward his sister. "You need to learn something now bud." He said, activating an ability. "When you're ahead, don't drop your guard! Ability Activate! Silk of Eternal Sorrow!"

Aratac watched the bakugan spin, detirmining its path before shooting a chunk of webbing into it. The webbing knocked the bakugan over, sticking him to the ground before glowing a deep red color and began to sap his strength. "Now, Ability Activate!" Caleb roared, throwing in a new ability into the fray. "Blazing Venom!"

Aratac leapt forward and bit harshly into Quakeerion's neck, injecting the deadly venom into his system. "Now watch your bakugan suffer." Caleb said, smiling darkly.

((Just so we're clear, this venom is about 100 degrees, and thus will boil your Bakugan's blood, make it lose focus, etc.))

[Crash Terron]

Quakeerion lashed in pain. His armored skin broke through the webs, yeah, but the venom making his blood boil was distracting him horribly.


Quakeerion: Crash! Do something!!! I don't know how much of this I can take!


Crash: Come on! You survived laser blasts! How bad could this hurt?


Quakeerion: When your blood is boiling, then you can comment, now do something!


Crash: I gotta think...


Crash went through his bakupack in his mind. He thought and thought. The only way to get out of this would be to nullify his ability, but even then, Quakeerion would still be very weakened. Weakened to the point where he probably wouldn't survive another attack. Crash thought of something. It was a desperation move, and would probably only take out the already weakened Kallua, but it was something.


Crash: Time to get rid of that pesky ability, and your pesky bakugan! Special Ability activate! Ultimate Crash Laser!!!


Parts of Quakeerion's Quantonium armor-skin came off, and formed a highly reflective tunnel. The parts that came off were quickly replaced with new Quantonium armor-skin, protecting him from attacks that may harm any weak spots. Then, powerful energy surged through Quakeerion, cancelling out the effects of the venom that plagued his blood stream. He focused all that energy into his mouth, and then fired the laser into the reflective tunnel. The laser bounced off the inside of the tunnel, gaining more power with every bounce, while Quakeerion used nearly the last of his energy to manipulate the end of the tunnel into two exits. Finally, the laser hit a part of the tunnel that split it into two seperate, yet equally powerful lasers. The two lasers exited the tunnel, slamming into Kallua and Aratac, sending them flying in opposite directions, both hitting what was left of the stands. Smoke filled the arena. Crash didn't know if Quakeerion had enough energy to fight off Aratac and Kallua. He hoped that this at least took down Kallua, if not then Crash might need some help. Quakeerion fell to one knee, panting.


Quakeerion: I don't know how much more I can take...


Crash: We can do this! We have to keep fighting! We must avenge Calvin!


The smoke cleared revealing the still standing Kallua and Aratac. This powerful team of brawlers was proving to be too much for Crash to handle alone.


Quakeerion: Looks like we need some help.


Crash: If only another Dragon Defender was here!

[Bruce Shoumetsu]

With their guard down looking at Quakeerion, Bruce knew they wouldn't see this coming. Suddenly, a mysterious entity has put both Aratac and Kallua in a choke hold, as well as continuously delivering punishing blows to them nonstop. It was the work of Draykus's ability Killer Shadow. With them affected by the ability, Bruce and Draykus landed near Crash and the damaged Quakeerion and looked at them with pity. As if he didn't have enough problems of his own, they get themselves involved in a fight with other people that does not concern them. Nonetheless, they were Zack and Kenta's friends, so he had to help in some way.

"Seems like you need a little help here. I'll heal your bakugan's wounds, but it'll take a while. In the meantime, i'll take these two on myself."

Draykus: "Super Rejuvenation!"

He aimed his his hands towards Quakeerion. A light surrounded Quakeerion, healing him of the wounds the duo had inflicted on him. Still, the damage was great, so he doubted that Quakeerion would be able to fight. He'll see about Quakeerion in a moment, but these two needed to go down. He looked at Caleb and Christy and the constricted Kallua and Aratac and said,

"Alright. I'm your new opponent. Show me what you can do!"

[Crash Terron]

Crash looked at the Olympian. He was at odds with himself. He didn't know what to think about Olympians anymore. After seeing this duo battling, Bruce helping him, and these odd feelings towards that girl Christy, he didn't know what to think.


Crash: Super Rejuvenation. Why didn't I think of that.


Crash swiped an ability card through his Scanner.


Crash: This is my fight. I thank you for helpin' me, Bruce, but I always finish what I start. Ability activate! Super Rejuvenation!


Quakeerion's recovery was hastened as the two Super Rejuvenations worked together. Quakeerion got up, now fully recovered, and roared.


Quakeerion: Thanks for the help Draykus. It's time to take these rodeo clowns down!


Quakeerion was silent for a bit.


Quakeerion: ... Great. Now I speak like Crash.


Crash: You'll get used to it. C'mon Bruce! They don't stand a chance against us!

[Caleb Vancent]

Aratac hissed and began to thrash about at the invisible force. "Oh now THIS just isn't fair!" He roared, spitting at his invisible captor. "Here I am enjoying myself and you just have to run on in and ruin it!" He managed to struggle his way free, and his eyes began to glow a deep red.

"This makes me very upset..." He said, signaling Caleb. "Battle Key, unlock." Caleb said, pressing the appropriate button on his scanner. "Silk Spitter." The armor-covered Aratac inhaled deeply before expelling an even stronger type of webbing, completely ensnaring Quakeerion. "Now, Ability Activate, Spring of the Psychotic Spider!"

Aratac leapt forward, biting deeply into Quakeerion's neck once more. "A negation ability coupled with his venom...I hope you enjoy the display." Caleb said, smirking slightly. "Your little recovery abilities won't save Quakeerion now...all that will save him is defeat."

Drawing back, Aratac patted the Sub-Terra bakugan on the head. "Now stay there like a good little worm while I handle your buddy over here!" With that he leapt at Draykus, holding the same venomous advantage he held over Quakeerion.
