This brawler was starting to actually fight him. This made Scarecrow even a little pleased. He had reached where he wanted the brawler to be. This was the beginning of his final defeat." You have made a huge mistake, Bryce Witherson. You believe that your technology actually accounts for skill." Scarecrow began to say. His cold tone making it a somber talk to the naive brawler." Yes, you did get this far. But from now on, it's a mono y mono. This is brawling in its esscence. Either you adapt and gain your own power, or fail and lose." He then glanced at the bakugan sapping Zerevix's power." Show them what I mean. Go ability magma victor." As he shouted his command, Zerevix shattered like a mirror. Behind it stood the magma monster perfectly fine from the attack." Now then, go Lix hunter normal ability activate.." Scarecrow commands of his bakugan.

Zerevix charged up the red energy same as last round. Following suit, when it grew large enough, he tossed it up into the air. The ball begins to fire bolts of painful energy at the fish bakugan." This is my magma victor normal ability, it protects me from your effects. And now my Lix hunter is online once again. You are now a target because of your own attack." He then waved his pointer finger from side to side. He was having fun with this weakling." Now give up. I want a real challenge."

Activated effects:
Magma victor: protect Zerevix and his abilities from opponents effects
Lix hunter: send back the opponents bakugan, and they can't send out one with the same base name, transfer 400g

Bryce smiled, knowing this attack from the previous round. He did his signature gesture of pointing his finger at his opponent and said, "Ya know there is a reason why lightning NEVER strikes twice in the same place. Get ready to see your weakness!" He guffawed as Terrokoi was hit by the attack and returned to ball form. The bakugan returned to Bryce's hand as he glared at Scarecrow. Bryce pointed toward the scoreboard that showed the two brawlers' life gauges. Oddly enough, Bryce's life gauge did not decrease.

"You see," Bryce taunted, "Bakugan returning attacks are only effective if I have a bakugan on the field after the attack resolves. Since I have no bakugan on the field, I take no damage. Now we start a new round. Set the gate freak!"

Round ended. New round begins.

"Haha!" Terokoi laughed, "Good one bro!"

[Scarecrow]

Scarecrow scoffed at his foolish opponent. He thought Scarecrow was stuck in a corner." Zerevix, I'm growing tired of this stupid kid. Lets crush him next go." Scarecrow told his partner nonchalantly. Zerevix returned to his ball form. The pyrus brawler picked up the bakugan and prepared for his next battle. He then oppened his CDS." Gate card set. Bakugan brawl!" He said as he threw his bakugan on to the gate. Zerevix took shape for what would hopefully be the last time against Terrakoi. Scarecrow was at his last whim. Two rounds down, and this battle hasn't even been put to a end.

Bryce guffawed. "Are you scoffing at ME? Well, don't you think that you're all mighty? No matter, I'll just finish you off easily!" He gripped his bakugan and flung him onto the field. "Bakugan Brawl! Let's go, Aquos Terrokoi!" The fish-like bakugan took form onto the battlefield and let out a "Booyah!" He flashed a fin at Zerevix as he widened his stance.

"I'm sick and tired of this game of patty cake!" Terrokoi shouted. "Come on! Let's end this!" Bryce nodded, "I agree, it's time to show this circus sideshow and his molten friend who's boss!"

Terrokoi has entered the field.

Scarecrow had his last move to make. He wanted to end it in one shot." Special ability negmatic overload, activate." The masked brawler called out. The CDS, in response to his command, glowed red. Zerevix charged red energy in his mouth once more. But this time, instead of bieng fired up, the ball was shot straight at Terrakoi. It was slow, yes. But also was scarecrow's second most dangerous card." My card lowers your g's to zero and adopts its second effect from another card. Hmmm..." Scarecrow pondered for a good 5 seconds what to say." I'll chose my fusion Lix Ceaser."

Imideatly following the call by the brawler, a spear of red energy shadowed the sphere. This was Zerevix's deadliest combo." Take this fillet-o-bakugan!" Zerevix taunted the bakugan. If the spear makes contact, the fish will be a subterranean bakugan, leaving him open to be crushed.

Negmatic overload: drop opponents g's to zero. Use a effect in your bakupack

"Hahaha! Good try punk!" Bryce taunted his masked opponent. "Ability Activate! Shark Missile!" He gestured at Terrokoi to attack Zerevix. "Take him down!"

Terrokoi's claws and fins shone blue as he leaped forward into the air. He dodged the attack with excellent agility and landed on the ground. With his extremities still glowing, he crouched down and let out a guttural war cry. "Kuuuyyyyyyaaaahhh!" He sshouted as he launched himself in a straight line. The Aquos bakugan had transformed himself into a projectile. He flew towards Zerevix with his arms extended, ready to ram himself into the bakugan. Even thought the Pyrus bakugan was naturally stronger than his own bakugan, Bryce new that even this powerhouse wouldn't be able to muscle his way out of this attack.

All enemy cards are turned into SWs thanks to Shark Missile. All enemy SWs are removed from the game and Terrokoi's G-Power is doubled.

Scarecrow smiled under his mask. He was happy this kid had really begun to see the reality of brawling, but now, he had a brawl to win." I will not let my Zerevix lose here. Go... Normal ability, ra bullseye." Scarecrow called, with a weak sound in his voice. In all reality, he had prepared everything to end right here. If this doesn't work, then his ultimate combo would have to be used. That card made him mad. He never wanted to have to use it.

Zerevix fired a extremely fast blast of energy at the fish bakugan. This would be so fast, scarecrow can't even see the bolt being shot. Zerevix had begun to put all of his current power he had stored within. The blast was aimed at the mouth of terrakoi. When he felt he had launched enough power in this attack, he closed his mouth." Teach you to open your mouth, crab cakes!" Zerevix boasted.

Ra bullseye: negate opponents effects, gain 1 ability counter

Bryce smiled, he didn't know what it was, but there was something about this freak that he kind of respected. He shook out the cobwebs in his head and refocused. As okay as Scarecrow was, he was still an obstacle, and obstacles only had one purpose, to be pulverized. He pointed another accusing finger at the masked brawler. "You say we can't beat you in a battle of strength, but when it comes to speed, you are out of your league!"

"Ability Activate! Hydro Bomber!" Bryce shouted as Terrokoi unleashed an attack that was equally as fast as Zerevix's Ra Bullseye attack. The two attacks collided as the water from the Hydro Bomber attack splashed all over the field and covered the floor. The attack had succeeded, causing Bryce to grin. "You see," he said a bit too overeager, "Not only is this a powerful attack, but the water from this attack gives me control of the Gate Card." He gestured downward at the ground as the water seeped into the floor and caused it to pulse with a blue light.

"Wooohooo!" Terrokoi shouted, "You've fallen right into our trap!" The bakugan pumped a fin into the air as his partner continued. "That's right, freak! We've had a blast, but it's time to end this. It's time you face the full force of our ultimate combination, The Deep Sea Death Trap! Gate Card Open! Marina Mayhem!" The field suddenly became submerged in water as a large crater formed below the arena. Although the water itself was harmless, the farther below a bakugan would go, the higher level of pressure would be acted upon the bakugan. Terrokoi was already used too the pressure, but most non Aquos bakugan have problems' withstanding the pressure.

"And that's not all!" Bryce continued, "Feeding Frenzy!" immediately, several clones of Terrokoi appeared from the sea crater and charged after Zerevix "Victory is ours!" Terrokoi shouted with triumph.

Hydro Bomber negates all of your effects, transfers 400G and gives Bryce the gate card.

Marina Mayhem let's Bryce name a word and all bakugan with that word in their name are sent back. All enemies may only brawl with guardian bakugan. The word is "Forget" (Zerevix is safe). a gate card effect is then looped.

Feeding Frenzy tranfers 400G, lets the use gain 1 ability card count and prevents all opponents from using normal abilities.

Scarecrow had all the pieces in place. Now for the coup de grace." You fell into my trap. Playing your ultimate combo just sealed your fate." Scarecrow boasted. He knew he had this ace in the hole. But now he had to reveal it to his later opponents." Go, signature special ability Molten Friender Cannon activate." The pyrus brawler commanded. Zerevix charged another energy blast, this time near his chest. Once it got as big as it could, he fired it at Terrakoi. It appeared to absorb the power that hydro bomber and marina meyhem gave the fish. That was its power.scarecrow chuckles." Mind explaining this one Zerevix?" He asked of the magma beast.

Zerevix just scoffed." 'Course Scarecrow ol' pal." He answered. He then pointed at the huge ball moving at the fish bakugan." That is my molten Friender cannon. It absorbs all power that was released here and sends it back to you." He began. Keeping to his insulting nature, Zerevix was not done there." So, how do you like your shark cooked? Medium, well, or charred?!" He added, exclaming the word charred, giving it extra emphasis.

"How about rare?" Terrokoi shouted as he and the clones charged at Zerevix at full force. "Because it's a RARE occurrence that you will beat me!" Bryce face palmed. "Terro...That was a horrible joke..."

The fish-like bakugan laughed as he tried attacking Zerevix. However, he was stopped in his tracks by the energy blast's effects. It drained away the water in the field, bringing him and his fish down to ground level with Zerevix. "Oh. So that's how you wanna play it. Bring it on you molten slab!" Terrokoi and his clones continued their assault on their Pyrus opponent, intending to overwhelm the giant with sheer force of numbers.

The barrage was stopped quickly as the energy blast rammed into the clones, incinerating each and everyone of them. Bryce's overconfident smile turned to a scowl as he saw the tides of the match quickly turn to his opponent's favor. "Terrokoi!" He shouted, desperate to get his partner to fall back. If the Aquos bakugan could escape the powerful attack, it would give him the time he needed to regroup and come up with a plan, "Get out of there!" Unfortunately, even Bryce knew that his efforts at this point were fruitless. There was no way that he could win this fight.

He gritted his teeth as Terrokoi returned to ball form and landed in his hand. He was so sure that this was his year. He was so sick and tired of landing a spot in the Final Sixteen year after year, but never getting past round one. Although he was frustrated, he gave Scarecrow a thumbs up. He didn't give any sass or sarcasm. Instead, he just turned around and left. Once again, he would have to leave everything up to Greil; And people wondered why the Krakkens couldn't recruit more members.

Zerevix, in usual fashion, continued to boast on his victory against Terrakoi." Well done it is! And another five star entree by me!" He says, a estatic sound in his voice. Scarecrow simply caught the bakugan ball as the pyrus bakugan returned to his ball form. Scarecrow then looked at the brawler who was walking away.

" I hope that teaches you the truth of bakugan brawling. I will not be beaten by you. Not by anyone..." He began. The brawler thought on how his life began. He rose to the top from basically nothing. But, that didn't matter. All that did was getting a brawl against the one opponent he thought could insure a great brawl. This opponent led the Nova brawlers. He was Jason cross. All that stood in his way was the tournament itself. "... Not until I face him. Jason Cross, I'm coming for you." He ended. He then turned his back to his opponent and made the walk to the back of the stadium.
