Boom grunted as he grew angrier, seeing that his opponent decided to show up at the arena. No one was ever brave enough to stand up to Boom; it may have just surprised him. The tense grew as his opponent who went by the name "Hawk Ryder" showed no fear or emotion towards Boom, which was one of Boom's secrets towards success; intimidation. "You decided to show up..." Boom said, his voice clearly revealing his anger. Boom was not like no other person or brawler, and was not to be messed with. His behavior is more like a bull which results in him being angry for no exact reason. He's more of an animal which needs to be tamed. Boom reached into his card holder and tossed a card towards the center of the field, which grew into a transparent brown.
"How about we start this, I don't have all day!" Boom shouted, kicking his feet as if he was ready to charge and attack his opponent, but instead he tossed a brown/orange marble onto the field, then transforming into a huge golem-like creature. "Subterra Triad Elympus, stand!!!" Boom shouted with might as the creature stood, causing the ground to dramatically shake. "Let's make this arena go boom!!!"

Hawk looked out across the arena. Today he would fight in an Aquos field, no problem. He breathed in the frigid air caused by the advanced technology of the Underground. He had brawled in this field before. A complete field of ice covered in chunks of icebergs. He also noticed parts of Ice that could easily crack from too much pressure. That was one factor taken care of. His focus shifted to his opponent, Boom. A fierce kid with good brawling skill, his anger was an issue though and, if Hawk played his cards right, it would be the boy's downfall. The Darkus brawler carried a microphone in his hand and spoke to the audience with his typical hardcore flair. "Ladies and Gentlemen! Are you ready for a show?!" The crowed cheered, most of them knowing Hawk's pre-brawl ritual, "Are you ready to lose your minds!?" More cheering, "Are you ready to get rocked by the sheer intensity of pure awesomeness!?" This time the crowd roared. "Then put your hands together for the one, the only, Hawk Ryder! The Bakugan Rockstar!!!" The crowd went wil giving Hawk plenty of time to pull out his BakuPad and place it on the holder on his arm. He tapped a folder and was greeted with a robotic response, "Formation Lambda, Engaged." Hawk pulled three balls out of his pocket and threw them into the air behind him. "Bakugan Brawl! Stand Darkus Synthsoul Reaper, Darkus Shadowsong Percival, and Darkus Deathbeat Aranaut!" "Support Weapons, ready for launch," the voice came from the Darkus brawler's BakuPad. "Alright! Support Weapons Launch! Synthsoul Bass, Shadowsong Microphone, and Deathbeat Drumset!" The crowd cheered as a bass shaped like a scythe appeared in Reaper's hands, a mace-like mic appeared in Percival's hands and two sticks appeared in Aranaut's hands as he was surrounded by a floating ring of drums of all sorts. "And now ladies and gentlemen," Hawk shouted, "I present to you the star of this show," he threw out one more ball, but this one landed on to the field, "Bakugan Brawl! Stand Darkus Minotitan!" A large, minotaur-like bakugan landed on the field. Despite his massive size, he gently landed on one of the tip of an iceberg so that he wouldn't cause more pressure to the ice and cause it to split. "Aww Yeeaaah! Are you ready to rock, Underground?!! Hit it Hawkman!!!" "With pleasure, Amigo!" Hawk pointed across the icy arena straight at Boom. "This one is for you, kid! I picked this song out just for us! Let's kick it boys!" "So...disapointing, your crowd will be of course..." Boom said softly, as the field changed with the snap of a finger. "Gate Card...open!!! Apocalyptic Wastelands!!!" Boom added shouting as the field transformed into a deserted ghost town. The sky became as clear as day as the sun directly beamed down unto his opponent's bakugans, draining their energy. The ground which they stood on became a rocky mountain top, causing the opponent's bakugan to lose their balance as they struggled to become stable. "I hope you'll adapt to our new environment...." Boom confidently said as he saw his opponent's bakugans become weaker.
"I'm not done yet! I summon Subterra Gaia Boomtrix!!! unto the field!!!" Boom added shouting as a meteor rose straight from the core of the earth, taking the appearance of cannons and equipping to Triad Elymphus. Boom looked at Triad Elymphus and needless to say, Triad Elymphus began firing massive balls which seemed to be combinations of the earth crust and core. Boom could hear the gasps of the crowd as they seemed surprised due to the smack talk his opponent said before the battle started.
"Hahahaha...look at you....your are just pathetic..." Boom said, followed by a somewhat evil laughter. "You're cheerleaders doesn't seen to be interested in you anymore..." Boom added as his tone immediately changed into a voice full of anger. |

Despite the massive fireballs coming towards him, Hawk laughed wildly. "Wow, I didn't think that you were this predictable of a brawler! Are you trying to lose!?" Although he knew that Boom was no pushover, he had absolutely no fear of him. The strategy was too simple. The kid was a bull. He would just keep rushing with power and anger until he made a rookie mistake. Then, Hawk could easily capitalize.
He shook his head, "You call me pathetic, but you can't even keep up without that silly field of yours. It's about time that I rock your world. Ready Minotitan?" "You bet! Let's rock'em till they drop!" Hawk knew what he had to do. Deflect the attack and break the gate card. Simple enough, but what about afterwards? If Minotitan used brute force to crush the gate from under him, he would crack the ice and fall through, even if he was standing on an iceberg. This wasn't going to work, unless......
As if a lightbulb shone over his head, Hawk flashed an almost wicked smile. He knew what he had to do. He tapped the BakuPad on his arm. "Ability Activate! Whammy Hammer!" Minotitan used his strength to bring his hands together with a thunderous clap. The action produced a wide net-like shockwave that sounded like a piercing guitar chord as it soared through the air. The attack worked like a flying shield, blocking the cannonballs and sending them in the opposite direction. However, the attack didn't stop there. The shockwave continued until it headed towards Triad Elymphus, but it never touched the bakugan any more than slightly as it smashed into the ground at the golem's feet.
"What a shame," Hawk spoke with mock dissapointment, "It looks like I missed." The frown soon changed to that almost wicked grin, "I bet that's what you wanted me to say, didn't you?" He laughed as the desert ground cracked and the gate card finally gave way to the massive pressure from the shockwave. The field returned to normal as Minotitan stood proudly on his iceberg once more. Hawk motioned to the ground below Triad Elymphus' feet, indicating that it wasn't over. The SubTerra bakugan was immediately surrounded by cracks in the ice, and the ground gave way merely seconds later.
Minotitan laughed, "I hope you know how to swim Rockhead!" Hawk joined in the taunting, hoping to make Boom angry so he'd lose focus. "What will you do now, Boomy-Boy?"

Triad Elymphus started to lose balance as the landscape all around him began transforming into it's normal state; the ice-biome arena, thus causing him to lack aim ect. Triad Elymphus then traveled to another part of the arena that allowed him to become more stable. "I'd thought you would do that!" Boom shouted as he held an Ability Card in his hand which began to glow an increasing transparent red. "Ability Card Activate! Caving Destruction!!" Boom shouted once more as the ice bergs began to close in on Hawk's bakugans, almost crushing them.
Now that he had the bakugans where he wanted him, he thought it was the perfect opportunity to end the battle. "Ability Card Activate!!! Alpha StoneBreaker!!!!" Boom roared as the ice bergs which once surrounded Hawk's bakugans began to shatter into pieces. "I think our work here is done..." Boom quietly said to himself as he thought the battle ended.
Though there was a feeling that Boom could've been wrong. "Boom, it's not over yet..." Triad Elymphus said, putting Boom's hopes down. If he'd won, it would've been the fastest win Boom had achieved while brawling in the underground. The two then stood in silence as they waited for the smoke screen to clear to see the outcome of the match.
(OOC: Okay, just so you know. I'm curious, how did the battle arena even become a ice arena? The Bakugan Underground is just a regular arena, not many arenas that support different attributes  |

Hawk stood still calm and ready for his opponent, as like the opponents bakugan said it wasn't over yet, and Hawk had a pretty good move for this turn. He found that Boom got more and more angry, the longer hawk stayed calm and sensible. This was how Hawk was use to brawling, but it was also some more difficult to stay calm."You should listen to your bakugan a bit more, Boom." Hawk said just to tease Boom a bit to make him even more angry to throw him off his brawling style. Then Minotitan started to get annoyed because here he was with ice bergs coming at him and Hawk was playing around. "stop playing around and play a ability already!" Minotitan said to get hawk to play an ability.
Hawk looked at Minotitan and shook is head "settle down i am getting there" He raised his arm in the air "Ready ladies and gentlemen!" He slowly took his hand down and started to tap on his bakupad that was placed on his arm to activate the ability that would once again place him infrount of his opponent, Boom. "Ability activate! Shadow Shield!" The ice started to shake as a purple shield came up from the ground to protect Minotitan from the ice bergs that where coming at him. "what shall you do now?" Hawk said as he finished off his last move with a pretty good idea of what he would do next. But, if he will do it is a totally different move is pretty usual.

"That shield won't protect you!!!" Boom shouted as he grew angrier while activating another ability. "Ability Card Activate!!! Cosmos Breaker!!!" Boom added as he tossed the ability card towards the center of field which then sunk into the land that surrounded them. The ability caused Triad Elymphus to glow a bright orange which showed the energy that he was draining from his opponent without the need of close or physical contact. If Triad Elymphus continued draining the energy of Minotitan, then the shield would eventually break, leaving Minotitan vulnerable for any attack Boom had in mind.
"Cosmos Breaker is a special type of ability..." Boom said confidently, sounding more calmer. "It basically uses all of your strength against you, and when it is done eating you up, your strength becomes mine....no matter the protection you have.." Boom added as he voice became more of a evil tone, rather than calm. Boom stood, staring at Triad Elymphus as he grew larger and more powerful than ever before. Boom was clearly ready to end the brawl for good. "Patience Boom, as I'll wrap this up" Triad Elymphus said as he launched himself towards Minotitan, attempting to give a fatal blow. |

"let's see, i am stuck, so you think, right?" the rock star pointed to the band "time to turn up the volume!" the crowed cheered as Hawk jumped in the air and started to once agin tap on his bakupad that held all the data of his magnificent cards, and other things. a bakugan type thing flew and landed on the field and stoo next to Minotitan, "this has a very good effect that can help!" then, Minotitan started to drain Tridal Elymphus"s power, just the way that it had happened to Miniotitan.
Hawk then signald for the band to stop, the then did a finnal solo. Then, there was silence, then, Hawk yelled "Attack!" The music once again stated to play dramaticly as Minotitan charged at Booms bakugan "time for Boom to go, boom!" Hawk said to once again cheek his opponent.

Minotitan began draining Triad Elymphus's power and he couldn't move at all. The pain was excruciating and unbearable, Boom was out of effects that could help released Triad Elymphus from the aurora that seemed to be draining all of it's energy. "Crap, I wasn't expecting that to happen..." Boom said in surprisement as he held another ability card and threw it towards the center of arena. "Ha!!! This should work!! Ability Activate!!! Ballistic Ironshield!!" Boom shouted as it was the last resort and was the only thing left that could help release Triad Elymphus from the drainage.
The crowd grew louder as the tensity increased between the two brawlers. A shield appeared and seperated Triad Elymphus from the aurora and began protecting it from everything his opponent had to throw at him. "You okay Elymphus buddy!!??!!" Boom shouted. Boom was known for being angry and merciless towards everyone else besides Triad Elymphus. Boom was beginning to change as he realized the pain he was putting Triad Elymphus through and wanted to end the match and call it a loss. "I'm fine Boom, just....just don't give up on me yet!!!" Triad Elymphus shouted as the shield burst, releasing iron-like spikes in every direction.
Ballistic Ironshield had a massive recoil and ended up making Triad Elymphus return to ball form, but he wasn't going down without a fight and severely injured Minotitan as well, unfortunately, Minotitan was still in his bakugan form which meant Boom and Triad Elymphus had lost. There was an awkward silence, and just a few moments later, the crowd stood up cheering for both of the brawlers for the amazing brawl even though they wanted to cheer for Hawk Ryder, they cheered for Boom as well out of fear.
"You have defeated me....therefor you have earned my respect...." Boom said as picked up Triad Elymphus and began exiting the arena.

Hawk looked in amazement as he had won the brawl that quick. Probably only because he caught him by surprise, he didn't know. This was crazy, he did not think that he would win with that card but, he is strong, can't say otherwise. He is a strong allie there is no doubt about that. "hey" Hawk said, but Boom kept walking "well, stay around" then Hawk held his hand in the air and his bakugan flew back into his hand, then he slowly placed them into his pocket.
