Season 4, Ep 9: Storm Warning

[Jason Cross]

After his victory over Caleb Phoenix, Gin advances to the second round. Unfortunately, it's against Kaden Miles, the number three contender for the championship. Before the match had started, Jason had informed his fellow partner of how Kaden had manhandled Carson Michaels in the previous round. He also hinted to him that he was very suspicious of Kaden and the other members of Team Shadow Storm and asked Gin to keep an eye out for anything strange. Gin agreed and headed off towards his match. It's Gin Estimaro versus Kaden Miles. Who will move on to the third round?

[Gin Estimaro]

"Oh my, you are my next opponent, too bad you will fall like Caleb" Gin said with laughter while waiking towards the battle field he had finished watching the battle between Jason and the other guy, he did not learn any new strategy since Jason won, "Are you sure Gin, this guy look very mean. I don't want my Dragon butt to be kicked around the battle field." Chamestreon said as he poped out of Gin's pocket and landed on his left shoulder. He has been hiding in Gin's pocket since their battle against Caleb just to escape from Gin's fans, "Are you having doubt about my skills", "Not at all, infact I think you can take him out with 1 hand tied at your back.", "You think or you know?", Now Gin, had already gotten infront of the battle field and now in opposite direction of his opponent, "Whatever just throw me in" Chamestreon answered with a sigh.


Gin picked up Chamestreon with his right hand and dip his left hand into his pocket and pulled out a gate card, "Lets do this Chamestreon, Gate Card set, bakugan brawl. Stand Darkus Chamestreon". "You got it Gin, lets show this punk how its done"

The gate card landed in the middle of the battle field, then the sky split apart, a long tail streched out of the portal, the tip of two long wings can be seen clearly and finally the whole body descended, Chamestreon the Ancient Dragon of Destruction raised his head and let out a sonic cry.

"Hey kid, you may defeated Carson but trust me stand no chance against the Darkus Master, which is me"

After hearing the crowd cheer for his cocky opponent, Kaden walked in the arena as the crowd began cheering him on as well. They figured that since the competitors were both very destructive from the most recent battle they took part in, it could be anyone's game in this brawl, or so they would soon reconsider. As he stepped up to battle, he couldn't help but hear the ignorance in his opponents voice. Such overconfidence was expected from the average brawlers in this tournament. No one should be surprised at that, but declaring that you're going to beat your opponent when the battle hasn't started is a pretty bold move. "You can bark as long as you want brawler, but it won't faze me." Kaden said. "Just like that other one, you may be able to talk big, but... " Dhradakor then ascended from his pocket in battle ready condition, "In the end, there's always the question whether you can back up your talk."

"Bakugan brawl! Ventus Dhradakor stand!!" Kaden yelled as he threw the bakugan onto the gate card. Dhradakor stood with many lighting bolts struck with his appearance. The dragon's eyes flashed red as his focus was on his target. The fight between two destructive bakugan was about to be unfolded. "Try and keep up!" Dhradakor roared.

Dhradakor entered the battle at 800G.

"Well, well, well Kaden, I have heard a lot about you and your Bakugan Dhradakor and I also heard you are kind of new here. So. this gonna be over really quick." "Gin why don't you hit me with an ability instead of talking". "lets start with this then".

Gin raised his right arm high above his shoulder level his purple ring glowed brightly he then yelled "Evo Gear, attach. Awaken, destroy, revenge, X-Chemicalon.".

A small purple energy appeared and dashed towards Chamestreon, it descended on Chamestreon back. immediately an explosion occur like an EMP bomb, causing all wc lights to go out, therefore the battle stage was dark. The ground erupted, volcanic lava arosed from the cracks on the ground, soon everything cleared out and Chamestreon was revealed, his claws became longer and sharper his wings spread half way across the battle field, his eyes glowed red. "This is the Evo Gear created for an Elder Dragon to destroy all his opponent prepare Dhradakor because this gonna be hot"

"Now, ability activate Darkus Blades of Fury and gate card open Tornado of The Darkness" Gin yelled.

Chamestreon let out a battle cry the noise caused series of shock waves to appear then Chamestreon stomped the ground three times and a seal crest symbol appeared beneath Dhradakor's feet. then chamestreon himself dashed towards his opponent with his super sharp razor claw.

"Yeah I plan on sealing your bakugan"

"Hmmm?" Kaden was immediately impressed at what the evo gear actually did for him. It somehow was able to fire an emp to disable the lights, which caused the arena to turn dark. This was a perfect situation for his opponent to take advantage of given that it's a darkus bakugan. In addition to that, it also gave him a considerable amount of power that his current form wouldn't be able to have due to his old age. However, none of the intel he was given from his teammates mentioned him capable of using an emp. It seems Kaden's opponent wasn't planning on spending that much time against him. "Let's see how you handle this one."

"Ability activate! Giga Iron Cross!" Kaden yelled as he tapped the ability card on his CDS.

Dhradakor began to glow with a dark green aura upon activation as a pillar of green light surged from his position. This ability amplified his body with raw power to enhance his durability and offensive potential, giving his body armor-like characteristics and increasing his power by double. This acted as a protection from the attacks he would receive. Both bakugan went at each other with their respective abilities as the claws began bouncing off of Dhradakor like they were nothing. They went back and forth a couple of times until Dhradakor caught Chamestreon off guard by seizing control of his claws. "You're going to need to be stronger than that to beat me peasant!" Dhradakor said in his face. "Begone!" Dhradakor repelled his attacker by using his mouth to send a wave of raw power at point blank range. In case anyone happened to notice, there was a reason why Dhradakor won that engagement if anyone could see what happened to the gate card.

"Now, gate card, re-open! Tornado of the Darkness!" Kaden shouted.

The ability had enabled Kaden to re-open the gate card to use it in his favor. Dhradakor had used the power given to him from his gate card to power himself up even further, and sent a dark tornado that was included with fierce lightning crashing down towards his foe.

Ability activate! Giga Iron Cross! This ability can be used anytime when you decide to remove anything of mine from my side of the field. Instead, Dhradakor will stay in the battle with his power level increased by double of what I had before you sent him back. Also, I can re-open the gate card.

Gate card open! Tornado of the Darkness! I can use an effect from my bakugan, double my effects, and I can add your G power to mine. (This means that Giga Iron Cross would actually increase me by quadruple of what I would have had.)

-Tempest Shredder: This card can have any 2 strategy effects, I can protect everything of mine from being effected.

1. I can change your bakugans attribute to Haos and your cards attribute to Subterra. You know perfectly well what this means for you.

2. Your effects must have 2 other active cards/support effects to be active. This means that in order for one of your cards or supports to be active, you must have at least 2 other active cards/support weapons. You currently do not have any active stuff right now, which means nothing you do can be active.

"This kid is kind of good but as I said before you will fall like my other opponents"

Gin raised his left arm up and pointed at Dhradakor and yelled "Revenge and Destroy that bakugan, X-Chemicalon".

Immediately their was a darkus black hole which sucked up every attack of Kaden's bakugan. But Chamestreon seem to be changing form again. "You see the stronger Chamestreon enemies are the more Chamestreon shows is through form, now it is due to the Ace Dominators, they are currently enhancing my bakugan's power"

A space rift opened and 4 red orb descended, then each on them landed on different part of the body, one on the head, covering his head with a thick adamantium metal, on the left arm, transforming both arms to missile launchers, though he can transform them back to his original hand. One landed on his chest, this covered his chest with a thick metal, unpenetrable my any fire power, the armor on his chest had a crest of another ancient Elder dragon and finally one on the feet transforming his feet to nitro booster, this allowed Chamestreon to stand fully upright. He raced towards Dhradakor with incredible speed, while running towards his opponent, two missile launcher where revealed on Chamestreon shoulder, he aimed at Dhradakor chest and fired two missiles at Dhradakor.

Kaden looked on as his opponent became souped up by his support weapons into a seemingly unstoppable force as one would see it. "So you have a few extra toys to play with. You're forgetting one thing though." He said before putting a smirk on his face right as the missiles appeared to hit Dhradakor. Smoke began to surround him as a result of the impact. "I can play that game just the same."

The smoke began to dissipate. As it showed, nothing was sighted when it became clear enough to see with the naked eye. The average spectator would think that the attack was powerful enough to destroy the bakugan, but little did they know that Dhradakor was in the air completely unscathed from the assault with something strange equipped to him. It seemed that he was able to avoid the attack by using the same method Chamestreon used to avoid his in addition to being able to avoid his rush. "You should know by now your trivial power doesn't mean anything." Kaden said as he revealed a ring glowing on his finger. "Do you really think you can win?"

Dhradakor's pulse arms obtained through the evo gear spread as he allowed them to try and pierce through Chamestreon in multiple directions. He was hoping to incapacitate his enemy in one dirty move.

I throw in Neon Zerker at 400G, but not in the normal means. This is an extra support weapon granted to me by discarding my fusion ability count. I activate it's effect to copy/reuse any effects. What this will do is copy your Evo Gear's effect to negate all of your effects, then it will copy your Darkus Blade of Fury. I believe you already know what that does, except that it's doubled on my side.

(Before you say my attributes were changed as a result of you reflecting my effects, you would be incorrect. You already negated all of my effects using your support weapon, so my stuff would already be inactive. You can't reflect something that's not active, and nothing you played stops me from doing this. Even though my bakugan would be a clone without me using the actual counter, the attribute of it is still ventus. ^_^ Edit: Before I forget, that's strike 1 since you used your gate again since you tried to reflect inactive effects.)

"Useless, I shall crush you with your Evo Gear" Gin said with confidence.

After a lot of thinking in his head, "Ability Activate, Doom Dash"

With the speed of Lighten Chamestreon Dashed towards a safer area of the battle as he turn around to face Dhradakor, his eyes glowed purple and Dhradakor Evo Gear seems to be inactive, siezing that opportunity, Chamestreon activated one of the Ace Dominator Evo Gear again, this time Chamestreon body glowed purple, the energy grew even more by the seconds that passes by. Then Chamestreon fired four Atomic missile at Dhradakor this missiles can sense the whereabout of there target, therefore it cannot be dodged easily, Chamestreon then lept towards Dhradakor with full speed.

"Today I tell you, I will defeat you"

Ability Activate Doom Dash protect me from opponent effects, use an effect of any of my s and copy all effect.

I use the effect loop an effect from my pack.
I loop Darkus Extreem Nullify opponent sw effect.

I copy the effect loop an effect from my pack and I loop the effect I will always have the advantage.

I activate one of the ace dominator effect I can loop an effect from my pack the effect is gain 1 limit(2) I will gain 1 looping limit and 1 copying limit.

And you got a strike too, you never started you used a ghost ability in your first move.

"They're a persistent bunch." Kaden said in his mind. As long as those Ace Dominators powered his opponent, the likelihood of inflicting serious damage was not as high as he would like it to be. Still, it's not enough power to amount to what other competitors have already shown. More than likely, he was going to have to take this one seriously. "This is what you get when you get a big head brawler," Kaden said out loud.

"Ability activate! Wind Pressure Cannon!" Kaden said as he tapped the card on his CDS.

Dhradakor fired a massive air blast from his mouth directly towards the incoming missiles instead of aiming specifically at Chamestreon. This was done on purpose. Considering the fact that the ability not only inflicted severe damage but also contained large amounts of wind pressure, the collision of the blast at those incoming missiles would generally create an explosion. The wind pressure contained inside the blast Dhradakor fired would make the explosions worse, and since his opponent willingly fired a total of four of them, the explosion would be catastrophic, and Chamestreon had already dashed towards it.

"Let's see how you manage to crawl your way out of this one!" Kaden roared.

Ability activate! Wind Pressure Cannon! This will increase my power level by 200G (400G) for each turn that has passed and will negate all of your effects. This will count as countering other effects.

Also, you just got another strike for making a false strike against me. If you look closely, I did say the word anytime. This would be contradictory if my card wasn't a ghost effect because you had an effect in place that would prevent me from activating it, and it obviously would not be able to be used anytime if there was something in place that prevented it. Nevertheless, if you decided not to think about that when you knew out of all of the times you've battled me that I was equipped with such, that's not my problem.

"Not bad, not bad at all, but still you will lose"

Gin searched through his CDS for a specific ability. "Ability Activate Quatom Shield"

Chamestreon let out a battle cry causing series of Shock waves, then the explosion started moving closer and closer to his opponent, a portal then open sucking Ciamestreon in and then it re-opened at the point black of Dhradakors sight giving Chamestreon a lot of time, space advantage over Dhradakor.

"Let him have the Gravity Zero" Gin yelled.

Chamestreon body glowed purple and purple aura started over flowing from his body, it could be noticed clearly that it seems Dhradakor had no gravitational force around him, which would restrict his movement, so they thought, and again Chamestreon activated anothe Ace Dominator this time the Ace Dominator caused an emp blast and all wc lights went out, this would give the Darkus bakugan serious advantage over the Ventus bakugan. But spectators could hear the sound of four missile heading towards Kaden's bakugan.

"This is your end Kaden"

Ability Activate Quatom Shield, reflect opponent effects and loop an effect from my pack.

I loop Gravity Zero- All my stuff cannot be affected by the opponent, opponent cannot play effects that would affect my gs.

I activate 1 of my Ace Dominators effect loop an effect from my pack, I loop Plasma Energy Sword I can change your attribute to "Zyton"

Kaden cracked a smile when he heard those words. He couldn't help it after toying with Chamestreon long enough to fully realize that not even an ancient terror could hope to stand up to him. "The end for me? I don't think so." Kaden said as he held out his right hand with a ring glowing on his finger. "In fact, it's only the beginning of what I'm about to do to you. Cross Tempest Evo, unleash!!!"

While seemingly immobilized, Dhradakor began to mutate after the evo gear was equipped and transformed into this terrifying dragon. Lightning surged from the ground up when he transformed, making his appearance even more of a spectacle than what it needed to be. It was also used as a defense by destroying the missiles in near point-blank range. The explosions that resulted from doing this did not damage Dhradakor in the slightest due to his armor, which further shows the difference in power between him and a so-called "darkus master."

"I don't stand a chance against the "darkus master" hmm?" Kaden taunted. "Don't flatter yourself child. Your power is meaningless compared to the Shadow Storm." Immediately, Dhradakor unleashed numerous streams of lightning at Chamestreon. The speed of the attack was too great for it to be dodged, and it began to damage his opponent without mercy.

I throw in Cross Tempest Evo at 400G. (Be mindful that Neon Zerker was an extra support weapon.) This will negate all of your effects.

"You ain't gonna get away with that"

"Ability Activate, Destruction Extreme" Gin yelled as he tapped an ability on his CDS.

Chamestreon started to glow purple, dark aura overflowed from his body soon, purple energy surrounded Chamestreon, it countinued to increase by every seconds that passes by, then Chamestreon released the energy causing a shock wave like attack causing all the lightening to disappear to the thin air, Chamestreon then opened his mouth wide and started to gather purple energy drained from the over flowing aura, Chamestreon countinued to gather more and more untill it became extremely big, the ball was covered with dark red aura. Chamestreon then force the energy ball into his mouth and fired it like a beam, the attack raced towards Dhradakor with incredible speed, even the spectators where amazed, the beam became bigger each seconds and it seems to be aiming at Dhradakor chest.

"Ignorant boy, you should know defeat when you see it"

Kaden disregarded his opponents final attempt to defeat him knowing that the flow of this match was already too far in Dhradakor's favor. The attack traveled at an impressive speed towards Dhradakor with the audience in awe, thinking that the attack was coming too fast and could cause severe damage if the attack connected. Aside from his opponents overconfidence in the matter, he decided to show him how big of a mistake Chamestreon had just made.

"I thought the Nova Brawlers had more to offer than mediocre brawlers such as yourself." Kaden said as he pulled up a card on his CDS. "This battle ends now! Ability activate! Supreme Judgment!!"

Upon activation, Dhradakor countered the attack by using a barrier of force to block the attack, and it appeared as though a strange symbol appeared under Chamestreon similar to some sort of seal a lot like an Eight Trigrams. This trapped his opponent in its place since it did not recover from initiating its earlier attack. While his opponent was seemingly hopeless from escaping, the situation became increasingly odd as a massive meteor suddenly appeared from above out of a portal while covered in green flames. This revealed that Dhradakor was able to pull this object from another dimension into this one. He sent it crashing down to Chamestreon in order to not only dishonor him by crushing him with it, but the force of the attack was sure to severely or even fatally injure a bakugan.

"Defeat is reserved for the weak." Kaden said. "Only the strong have the right to claim victory."

"Now vanish!" Dhradakor said with glee.

Ability activate! Supreme Judgment! You lose 1 (2) effect(s) on the effects you play/played, and everything of mine is protected. Then I can switch any of my previous power levels with any other power level recorded in the match. I think I'll switch the 800G I had at the beginning with the 40,000G I earned last turn. Just so you know, the card you used last turn should not have worked since you messed up severely on your move with Quatom Shield. You had reflect opponents effects, which doesn't have any specification on which ones you were reflecting, so it was assumed you were intending on doing that to all of my active effects (two of them were support weapons). You already lost that limit, so you couldn't counter my Cross Tempest Evo.

[Gin Estimaro]

"Heh. You may be a little tougher than I thought. But I'm not letting that stop me."

"Chamestreon! Let's get them!"

Chamestreon shouted out a battle cry and charge forward, only to be stopped in his tracks by some invisible force field. The bakugan looked down to see that he was sealed by some sort of bizarre symbol. He punched and thrashed around, trying to break free from the seal, but to no avail. The Darkus dragon became tired as more danger approached. He looked up to see a portal open. A massive meteor passed through the portal, heading towards Chamestreon at a blinding speed.

Chamestreon snarled at Dhradakor, "So, this was your true power!"

An explosion rocked the arena. Within the dust and the debris, a purple ball bounced towards Gin and landed in his hand. Gin looked down at the ground with a furious look on his face. He lost. How was this possible? He glared at Kaden, "This won't be the last that you heard from me!" He turned to leave, noticing that Chamestreon wasn't moving or speaking at all.

Dhradakor laughed as the crowd cheered Kaden's name. Although the outcome of this brawl had been decided before it had started, he was pleased with the results.

"I take it you agree with this brawl." Kaden smiled wickedly at his partner.

"Of course," Dhradakor responded as he opened up in his brawler's hand. "I'm also pleased that you let me send that pathetic excuse for a bakugan into another dimension. That weakling Darkus brawler won't notice until it is too late." He gave another throaty laugh as Kaden turned to leave.

"Soon." Kaden spoke in a low voice as he gripped the Ventus bakugan in his hand. "We will execute our plan soon. Come Dhradakor, we need to make preparations for the next phase of our operation."
