Hey guys/girls. Kaden here. Today I have for you the 1st ever World Tournament on this site that has nothing to do with the plot. Each brawler is welcome to participate and you don't even have to register. Without further ado, let's get right to what you have to do in order to get close to winning this tournament.
How do you advance in this tournament?
Each contestant will be given 4 weeks from Wednesday, April 10, 2013 to win as many brawls as they can. Brawls started before this date do not count. Only those started on and after April 10 will be applied. You must pm Damian or Kaden your wins so they can be recorded here. The top 4 players with the most wins will move on to compete for one of the most coveted prizes on this entire site. There is no limit to how many times you can battle.
Does it matter if you lose?
To a certain extent, yes it does. Players generally will not have anything done to their tournament standings if they lose a battle. HOWEVER, if you happen to be in the top 4 during these four weeks and you lose a battle, one win will be deducted from your total wins.
What will happen if "mistakes are made" in battles used for the tournament?
Players must refrain from cheating, boosting, and any sort of behavior that ruins the legitimacy of your brawl. The 3 strike system will still be used in battles. Here is what happens if you are caught doing any of these things:
1st offense: You lose the brawl that you were in and you are on probation for 3 days. (This means you cannot brawl for the tourney for those 3 days.)
2nd offense: You lose the brawl that you were in, but it will count as two losses. You are on probation for 6 days and are unable to use any items created after April 10 for your future first round brawls. If what you were doing was terribly bad, I can handicap you. ^_^
3rd offense: You are dismissed from the tournament.
Remember that cheaters never prosper. We're all trying to play a fair game. Don't ruin that for others or you will pay for it.
Is there anything else you may be hiding from us?
> You may not use banned effects in this tournament.
> You are allowed to take each other's bakugan. You can only do this twice in the entire tournament.
> This is season 2 style brawling in case anyone didn't know.
> The prizes are incredible. (I'm not trolling you all. This is serious.) I'm not going to spoil the surprise for any of you, but you would want to do your best on this one.
> Plot brawls do not count. (This is for those canons who thought they could abuse the potential flaw in my rules had I not said that.)
> This would be kinda wrong for me to say, but if anyone declines your brawl, report them to me and I will have to ask them why they did. If the reason isn't legitimate, then the person who declined it just gave their potential opponent the win. The reason why is to make sure no one loses or wins because you decided to decline brawls on purpose.
If you have any questions regarding this tournament, pm Kaden Miles or Damian Kirifuda for more information. Good luck brawlers. ;D
