Bakugan Evoblast Episode 22


After battling Drake in an intense match, Jimmy decided to leave the Team Blasters, wanting to defeat his brother by himself without the help of his friends from now on. When Edin, Wendy, and Sinado overheard Jimmy and Heronix's conversation about abandoning the team, they confronted him. Jimmy then got frustrated, wanting to stick with his new plan about fighting solo, which led to an argument. Edin then mentioned to Jimmy that Jimmy already promised his professor Rumiko to always stick together and not to leave the team. Which is betrayal of what Jimmy was doing, but then Jimmy stated that he changed his mind to fight solo, only if he is to determine to win the fight against his brother. This argument ended up to Jimmy challenging Edin to a battle! If Jimmy wins, he may do whatever he wants. Edin accepted the challenge, confident that he won't disappoint Rumiko. With the deal settled, Heronix and Dragoonior agreed to fight against each other.

"BakuMonitor Battlefield, activate!" His glasses began to glow as the area was now prepared for the battle to commence. 

"To think it would come down to this..." Edin said in disappointment. Jimmy is actually considering abandoning them and becoming a one man army against Drake's massive army. It was one of the most silliest things he's ever heard, and Edin was now the only one who could attempt to knock some sense into Jimmy before he takes the wrong path. He knew they would eventually meet each other in battle, but not over something as trivial as this.

"Gate card, set." Edin threw down the gate card without any sort of excitement or vigor, and it expanded across the area in which it landed. Just the thought of fighting a teammate over this turned his smile upside down. It would have been rather inappropriate to show that kind of emotion in a serious battle such as this. He knew losing was very far from an option here. 

"Dragoonior, I'm sorry that you're being asked to do this on my behalf, but..." Edin said, but was shortly interrupted by the bakugan. "It seems pretty hard to take in from everyone, Edin. You're doing what you believe is right. There's no shame in that. I'm by your side regardless of the decision you make, and if it's to go against our allies for the greater good, then it shall be done!" Edin then nodded in agreement, and prepared to throw his bakugan onto the field. "So be it. Let's make professor Rumiko proud! Bakugan brawl!" Dragoonior was thrown onto the field and landed on his respective side. He stood valiantly, and got in his defensive stance while sending projectiles to the other side simultaneously. 

"Bring it on!"

Before the battle started, when Edin's glasses glowed, Jimmy put his BakuMonitor in front of his left eye to activate the battlefield, with their friends, Wendy and Sinado watching the battle. Wendy got a little worried of this situation, and while Sinado remained silent. However, Jimmy did not seem to care of what his friends were thinking after all. All Jimmy wanted is to face his evil brother in an one-on-one battle, which he could think that battling solo would be his opportunity to bring his brother back to his sense. Confident enough, if he wins this battle, his friends will leave him alone.

"Alright let's go Edin! You know that neither one of us would back down!" Jimmy shouted, preparing to throw Heronix into the battle, "Bakugan Brawl!!" Exclaimed Jimmy as Heronix was being thrown in the air. "BakuBlaster LAUNCH!!" Heronix opened its ball form, and turned into monster form while firing projectiles at Dragoonior. As the incoming projectiles (fired by Dragoonior) flew towards Heronix, Heronix crossed its arms, hoping not to get hurt by them. KABOOM!!! "Dragoonior! Even though we are teammates and we have nothing against each other, we will do what we have to do in this battle! Now let's do it!!" Heronix remarked, preparing to fight. Not a friendly battle, but a real battle.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Heronix and Dragoonior fought each other with Jimmy and Edin using everything they've got. Edin won the first round using his Gate Card Ring Zero. In the second round as Jimmy played his Gate Card Lightning Clear, Heronix knocked Dragoonior out by emitting a shining beam to blind him.

Jimmy's Life Points :: 250 (50%)
Edin's Life Points :: 200 (40%)

Jimmy and Edin continued their battle in rough until Professor Rumiko appeared, using her device to shut down their battlefield to cancel the match! "Professor Rumiko! Why...." Jimmy questioned, as right after Heronix and Dragoonior returned to ball forms.

Rumiko, wanting to break up the arguments between Jimmy and Edin, answered that true friends should not be battling the way like this. She also explained to Jimmy that the Team Blasters should never be separated or they would never win against the Giga Bakugans. Jimmy understood after Rumiko comforted him. Later Jimmy and Edin now made up and apologized to each other.
