Carson walked through the doors of the record store. "Easily around $1000 each," Carson said, "There's airfare for us AND our guardians, then Mr. Wiggums needs transport, too. I can see if I can convince my record company to get us hotel rooms, but I'd have to do some serous compromising."
Carson walked up to the counter to an overweight, balding man wearing a Coldplay t shirt.
"Carson Michaels? What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Cut the crap, Wade," Carson said threateningly, "How bad is Gimnasio?"
"There is no dissidence right now, but I'd be careful," Wade said meekly, sweat rolling down his cheek.
"And my album?" Carson asked.
"Selling well. Almost out of it," Wade replied, his face fearful.
"Good, thanks, Wade," Carson said, "Sorry for being pissy. Lots of stuff going on."
"It's no problem, Carson," Wade said, wiping his brow.
Carson did an about-face and got on the phone with his boss. He conversed a bit, lots of "yes sir"s and "no sir"s, and hung up. Carson began walking out the door, shaking hands with some fans.
"Let's go. We're going to Gimnasio," Carson said. A black limo pulled up in front of the store, "Everything I need is in there. Where do you need to go before we leave?"

Rez just blinked for about a minute. "How well does that thing handle roadless mountains? That's where I need to go."

"Not well," Carson replied, "Why don't you do that whole teleport thing? I'll wait here."

It took Rez about 10 minutes to teleport to his temple, gather some things nd return. "Alright. Should be everything"

"I-it's okay. I don't want to meet any new people." Naru said quickly, stammering.
"Oh, come one. It'll be good for you to socialize with someone of your own species. Besides, we don't know what's happening between those two." Silan hooked his thumb at Rez and Carson. "We'll go."
"I don't trust them." Light said bluntly.
"That's why we're going with them. We might be making a ton of new friends, Light."

There was a purple light glowing from the black cat, and the light landed infront of everyone and was formed as a black, purple fox with five tails and a glaive. "Hello there!" She chirps, bouncing up and down. The Ventus wolf then draws a few symbols from the ground, which flashed orange and black as a girl with two hair clumps that looked like ears rise from there. She slowly opened her eyes, "hi." she greeted barely above a whisper.

"Um... Hi." Naru hid behind Silan.
"Don't mind her, she's shy." Silan laughed, "That's Naru, and I'm Silan. Nice to meet ya."

Rez looked over at the new arrivals and Gale. "Hello there." Rez then turned to Silan. "You don't seem the stealthy type. If you're coming with, how could you assist the operation and do you have the necessary funds?"

"Funds? Bro, money is of no object to me." Silan laughed loudly, "Light here does my taxes and he makes my refund practically double, and Rooke's a sensible investor. They help me out a lot."

Rez whacked Silan on the knee with his staff. "You didn't answer my first question which was more important than if you had the funding."

"What's everyone talking about?" The five tails asks, slowly waving her tails around. The human-fox shrugged and turns to Naru, " I'm Mutability Chamomile and this is Niner, Darkus Kyuubius." Mutability said, her calm amber eyes looking at the other soon-to-be ninetails.

"Hehehe... Guess I wasn't listening well enough," Silan said, plastering an unphased face and screaming on the inside. "Check these guys out. Guys, tell him."
"You may call me Light." A darkus bakugan said, "I represent the Diamond. I used to be a Pyrus bakugan, but my personality alone drove my teachers away and I learned from the Draconian Dignitaries, a guild of darkus bakugans from the west. They specialize in ruthlessness, calculation, and dark arts such as ritual sacrifice and soul binding. I'm not going to sneak around, I can take them out myself."
"He's a little smug."
"I'm Nora," Another darkus bakugan, "I'm echelons better than my timid little sister, but I'm not here to rub it in her face. I represent the Spade. Originally, bakugan that represent the Spade are taught by the Sovereign Slayers, but that wasn't the case for me. I was trained in a harem because I wasn't physically built to become a Soverign Slayer. I tend to gravitate more towards emotional manipulation."
"My name's Rooke," A third darkus bakugan, "I'm not as strong as Light, so I haven't been able to relinquish my darkus attribute for haos, but I'm still a bishop no less. I represent the Clove, but I didn't join the Courtyard Drole's. Instead I joined the church, so now I'm more of an exorcist."
"Speak up, Naru."
"Right... I'm Naru." The only pyrus bakugan of the group. "I'm not strong enough to be a Hegemonic Brute, but I didn't train in a harem with my sister either. Instead I trained in the wild, with other foxes. I learned how to act as they do, but I also became really lonely out there."
"She's really strong, just give her a chance."

"Alright. Your skills seem adequate. If Carson is in agreement, you can draw the guards to the front gate" Rez turned the pendant on his neck thrice in hand, confirming it was still there.

Carson got into the limo, leaving the door open for the others.
"Come on. The plane is waiting," Carson called to them. He opened up a can of soda and sat back. The record company sent some copies of the new album. Carson sighed. So much advertising. Tritonus popped out of his pocket.
"You sure you're ready to go back?" Tritonus asked.
"I gotta go back," Carson replied, "If not for me, then for them."
Carson reached into his wallet and pulled out a faded photograph of five kids. Carson sighed while looking at it.
"It's not your fault, you know? Gragion Reaper is to blame," Tritonus said, trying to console Carson.
"I know," Carson said back, "I just wish I was the one, not them."
"I know you do," Tritonus said.
Carson put the picture back in his wallet, fighting back tears. He took a long sip of his soda, but wished it was whisky. There was nothing he wanted more in the world than to see his childhood friends again.

Rez got into the limo and took a seat. Closing his eyes, Rez practically fell asleep with his elbows on his knees and his head on his hands.
