A year has passed ever since Drake and his Giga Bakugans have been defeated, and Jimmy has been declared a hero, and is now the new number 1 battler in Mecha City! All things seem to be in peace. However, a species of demons, known as the Equilibrians, attempted to invade Earth, threatening all the people everywhere! Xecarlos has been planning this invasion for a long time, and now has finally begun to strike! Not wanting to let that happen, the Team Blasters and their allies must stop the evil organization, or else the Equilibrians could fulfill their goals of gaining control of the universe! The battles will be long and fierce against the forces of light and darkness, the epic season that you don't want to miss it!

New Features:
- Equilibria: Equilibria is an energy world where the Equilibrians live. The Equilibrians are a race of demons, and they are able to disguise themselves as human-like beings. Unlike the ordinary Bakugans, the Equilibrian Bakugans have chaos powers inside, which they are mysteriously powerful. The main goals of the Equilibrians are to take over Earth, and possibly the universe, led by Xecarlos.
- Clear Attribute: A new attribute introduced in this season. All Clear Bakugans have a crystal clear body. Despite having no type, they have their own strategy, with their ability to become invisible in battles against the opponents. The symbol of this attribute is a silver circle.
- BakuSoldier: BakuSoldiers are a new type of Bakugan that helps the teammate Bakugan in battles. However, they have two battle positions, attack or defense. In attack mode, they help the teammate Bakugan fight the opponents, just like the Bakugan Traps. In defense mode, they battle solo and protect the teammate Bakugan while they stay behind. Unlike normal Bakugans, the BakuSoldiers do not have Ability Cards. However, they have four different attacks or techniques of their skills. Outside of battle, they are rocket-shaped in small forms. To summon the BakuSoldier, insert its rocket form in the launcher worn on the wrist, and launch the BakuSoldier with it. They can also be launched upon the opposing Bakugan to blast them. They do not have to match the battling Bakugan's attribute in order to be summoned. When a BakuSoldier is defeated in a battle, the owner does not lose a Life Gauge.
- Transformation Chaosmode: Transformation Chaosmode is an evil evolution only used for battle, and is the dark counterpart to Transformation Ultimode, which is more powerful, but risky. It is created and used by Xecarlos and his group for evil purposes. When the Bakugan evolves, it gains the enormous dark energy from their battler, doubling their G-Power levels and the effects of their Ability Cards. Also, the battler's personality transforms and becomes more aggressive, and they must have the strength to control their evolved Bakugan, otherwise the evolved Bakugan may self-destruct. When the battle is over, the evolved Bakugan returns to its normal state. This temporary evolution may only be used when the Bakugan and their battler share their chaos power.
- Transformation Ultimode or Chaosmode Extreme: This is an advanced transformation that can make the Ultimode or Chaosmode Bakugan evolve even further. It is a very powerful temporary evolution that can quadruple the Bakugan's power as well. However, this type of evolution may only work when the Ultimode or Chaosmode Bakugan has a low energy left to fight.
