Mecha City Streets: Inferno and Arungar vs Jimmy and Drake!

Bakugan Evoblast Chaos Fury Episode 8


After the Team Blasters split up in Mecha City to find the Chaosmode users to stop them, Jimmy unexpectedly ran into Inferno at the park, and challenged him to a rematch. While Inferno wasn't alone, a mysterious Subterra battler named Arungar showed up, wanting to join in the brawl. Over confident enough, Jimmy still accepted a 2-on-1 challenge. Before they are about to start the battle, Drake showed up out of nowhere, joining in the brawl to help Jimmy. Why is Drake helping him despite being angry enough about the loss of Drazardon?

[Jimmy Kyudai]

After the battlefield was activated, Jimmy expected to battle fight both Inferno and Arungar by himself. However, he was then surprised to see his brother Drake here. "Hey Drake, what's up? I wonder why are you helping me...?" Jimmy asked, turning to Drake.

"Gate Card Set!" Jimmy shouted, throwing a card that hit the ground, and expanded, "Bakugan Brawl! BakuBlaster Launch!!" After Jimmy's shout, Heronix was thrown to the Gate Card. He then turned into monster form, launching projectiles forward. "I will make you pay for what you've done, bring it on!" Heronix said, ready to battle.

[Drake Kyudai]

"Well, there goes the planned ambush. I'm not sure why people like those two are in an amusement park anyway..." Drake said in his mind when he saw the other two brawlers. "Why am I helping you?" Drake repeated his question in a sarcastic tone. He expected his reason to be obvious to Jimmy due to who his enemy on the opposite side is. He looked at his younger brother with disapproval with what he was about to do. "It's quite simple, Jimmy. I told you before that I wanted to destroy Heronix to get my revenge. You would have ruined that for me if I allowed you to continue with this one alone." Drake immediately pulled out a gate card and threw it right next to Jimmy's. 

Drake gripped Zorvash as he prepared to launch him to the field. "Bakugan, brawl! Bakublaster, launch! Stand Darkus Zorvash!" he shouted as he threw his bakugan. Zorvash landed on the card and stood, sending projectiles towards his incoming enemies. 




"Here I am!" the upper half joyfully exclaimed to Heronix. He knew Heronix wouldn't have survived this ordeal if he wasn't there. "Slow me down, and there'll be no question as to how you got destroyed today!" the lower half said to Heronix.

[Arungar Hephastion]

"Master Inferno," Arungar said as he strode from the shadows, "Allow me to aid you in this fight."  He stood, feet solidly planted, his red eyes glowing with an internal fire.  "You must admit, the strength of a subterra warrior would aid you greatly in this fight."  He looked across the field and then raised his arm over his head.  "Come my warrior of flame and torture.  Bakugan Brawl!  BakuBlaster Launch! Rise Subterra Vesuvionoid!  Let the eternal flame within you, burn this battlefield to ashes!"  Arungar raised his head and his eyes flashed.  "Where fire and earth combine, Vesuvionoid is born!"

[Inferno]

Inferno expected that the battle would be only between Jimmy and him, but still, he didn't seem to care if there was an interruption. "Alright then, very well. Show them your new transformation, and prove them that you are a worthy opponent." Inferno said, as he pulled out a card and threw it to the field. "Gate Card Set!" The card that Inferno threw shined dark red and expanded. "Bakugan Brawl! BakuBlaster Launch!!" He shouted, as he launched Duskronoid to the gate card. Duskronoid then stood in its monster form, and sent projectiles towards Heronix and Zorvash.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

KABOOM!! As each Bakugan turned into monster forms, they received a few blasts from the opposing projectiles. Both Heronix and Duskronoid then emerged from the smokes as they were shown to be fighting in a hand-to-hand.

"This battle is different Inferno! Ability Activate!! Exo Grothia!" Upon the activation of ability by Jimmy, Heronix glowed yellow, as he increased his powers. "This is the power of Haos!" Heronix added, as his fist was surrounded by lightning sparks, which grew into a ball of electrical energy. Heronix then punched Duskronoid. It seemed like Heronix had become stronger than his last battle with Duskronoid.

[Drake Kyudai]

"This battle would be different? You actually lost to this guy?" Drake suspected that this would be the case. He didn't think Jimmy would be the type of person to say that if he won the battle before unless he actually wanted to lose to Inferno. The fact that this person was capable of defeating Jimmy in the first place could cause some problems in this battle if he were to underestimate them.

"Master Inferno? So mister tough guy over there's the boss man." Zorvash's upper half pointed out. Drake didn't catch that one at first since he didn't bother listening to what either of his opponents had to say. He didn't consider them that important to listen to until he heard Jimmy's reaction. "Ability activate! Specter Claw!" Zorvash took his cape and allowed it to shift its claw-like ends into a shadow-like being. As a result of this, the ends of his cape began to move as if it was alive and began to glow in an indigo color. He then opened up a portal for the being to travel through in order to appear wherever it would like to in order to viciously tear through his enemies. Multiple portals began scattering across his enemy's space and the claws began to lash out at Duskronoid and Vesuvionoid. 

[Inferno]

While Vesuvionoid fell by the attacks, the claws may also have hit Duskronoid, but they still needed to do more than that to really hurt Duskronoid. Inferno smirked, and pulled out an ability, "You look strong, as for the Darkus attribute. Now Ability Activate, Dread Roar!!" Inferno said, holding a card in the air. "You know what's the consequences if you dare to underestimate me!" Duskronoid let out a loud roar, causing some portals to disappear. Not only that, but the roar also blew Heronix and Zorvash back, as it weakened them. Duskronoid then ran at Heronix, tackling him. PAM!!

[Arungar Hephastion]

Arungar didn't get an ability ready quite fast enough and Vesuvionoid was hit hard by the attack. "Get up you weakling," Arungar yelled at Vesuvionoid even though it was clear that the bakugan was severely injured by the attack.  "We have a lot of work ahead of us Vesuvionoid!  We can't back down now.  Ability activate!"  Arungar held a card high and it flashed as the ability took effect.  "Flowing Fist!"  Vesuvionoid growled and then his fist began to stretch and grow, becoming more fluid and becoming a bright shade of red.  The hand continued growing and stretching until it wrapped around Zorvash and constricted him.  The fist then hardened, trapping Zorvash in a rocky fist.  "Take that!" Arungar yelled.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Heronix was sent flying as he was hit by the tackling Duskronoid. "Ability Activate! Luminous Garde and Phoenix Surge!!" Jimmy shouted, activating two abilities. "That's not bad for a move like that!" Heronix said, as he charged up an energy bolt with electricity from his hand. He then quickly appeared in front of Duskronoid, as he had teleported here, thanks to Luminous Garde ability. Finally after fully charging up his energy bolt, Heronix launched it right at Duskronoid in the face. To do something more than that, Heronix's fists charged with alot of electricity, and repeatedly punched Duskronoid with them.

During the multiple hits, Heronix was blown back by Duskronoid's loud roar. Not wanting to fall, Heronix spread its wings and flew up high in the air. He charged up another energy wave in his hand, and launched it at Duskronoid.

[Drake Kyudai]

Drake was a bit disturbed by Arungar's choice of words towards his bakugan. Although the statement may be true, his lack of respect towards who he's using is atrocious. He used to be evil just like they were, and he could recall treating numerous bakugan as minions and even destroying other bakugan just for the fun of it. He felt bit shameful for not treating them better than he should have.

Drake quickly got over it after seeing Zorvash become constricted by the enemy. He snickered at Arungar's response to Zorvash's actions and brushed it aside as a simple annoyance. "We both know you can do better," Drake said as he prepared his next attack. "Ability activate! Cryptic Shadow!" Zorvash converted his body into a shadow. This enabled him to escape from his constraints as he was shown traveling along Vesuvionoid's arm. "I took it!" Zorvash's upper half celebrated. He transformed back into his physical form as soon as he got as close as he wanted to without getting too close and personal. "Here's my thanks, 'weakling'! Just as your master describes you!" the lower half mocked. "Devouring Smog!" The lower half exhaled a gas that began to envelop the enemy's side of the field. The ability was heavily caustic and would begin to corrode any victim it comes into contact with. "Disappear!" Drake exclaimed.  

[Inferno]

Inferno and Arungar coughed as they were filling by the gas, as well as Duskronoid and Vesuvionoid. Jimmy tried to celebrate the advantage, but it wasn't over yet. "Heh heh heh..." Inferno laughed as he was still inside the gas. Duskronoid then emerged from the gas, as his body became darker. "Ability Activate, Dark Reversal!" Shouted Inferno, as he already played an ability. Duskronoid didn't look like to be affected by the gas at all. But on the other hand, maybe or not, Vesuvionoid may have damaged by the gas, and Inferno didn't seem to care about it. All he cared was to destroy the enemies for good. "You two are so in trouble. Go Duskronoid!" Inferno shouted, putting his hand forward. Duskronoid created a fire ball energy from its mouth, and shot it at Heronix and Zorvash.

[Arungar Hephastion]

Despite the words sent his way, Vesuvionoid stayed silent.  He was hurt by the words of course, but he knew that Arungar was just saying it to get him to work harder to win the battle.

Arungar was very angry at the actions and words of Drake, but also Inferno, who didn't even help him.  "Come on Pompeii!  BakuSoldier discharge!!"  Pompeii stood on the field with his towers shadowing the field.



"Tower defense effect activate!  Negates your ability freeing Vesuvionoid from your abilities!"

[Jimmy Kyudai]

"Gate Card Open! Lightning Clear!!" Jimmy shouted, pointing towards the ground as it shined yellow. Heronix and Zorvash's side of the field flashed brightly, as the effect absorbed Duskronoid's attack. Heronix and Duskronoid ran towards each other, and continued to fight. "This time, I will win!" Heronix exclaimed, battling Duskronoid head on.

"So you've got a BakuSoldier too, then you're not the only one!" Jimmy said, and took an item in the shape of a rocket from his pocket. Putting it in his launcher worn on his left wrist, he launched it to land to the field. "BakuSoldier Discharge! Rise Subterra Crushman!!" Jimmy exclaimed, as Crushman revealed its monster form.



"LOCK-ON TARGET!" Crushman said, ready to attack. It locked-on to the tortoise-like BakuSoldier, and fired two blasts of energy from the cannons of its shoulders at him. As the blasts hit, he continued firing blasts of energy again, hoping to break Pompeii's defense.

[Inferno]

Inferno smirked as he saw Jimmy just summoned a BakuSoldier. He knew what to do to get rid of that easily. "Your BakuSoldier means nothing Jimmy. Gate Card Open... Explosion!" Inferno snapped his fingers, and the field shined red as his gate card was activated. An explosion then occurred in Crushman's area, sending it back to its rocket form. KABOOM!!

Zorvash, Vesuvionoid, and Pompeii continued their battle against each other. This is where Arunguar started to have a grudge on Drake, considering him as his worst rival. Arunguar then activated the Transformation Chaosmode for Vesuvionoid for more powers, while Drake activated the Transformation Ultimode for Zorvash to defend. Since they were occupied, Duskronoid decided to only focus on Heronix. "Duskronoid! He may have become more powerful than before, but that doesn't mean he can beat us!!" Inferno angered, "Ability Activate!" Inferno held a card up high and it flashed by the effect's activation, "Delta Crash!!" Duskronoid roared. He created three powerful bolts of energy from his mouth, and his hands. As soon as he charged up, he releases the energy blasts towards Heronix. The energy blasts grew bigger as they were heading forward, and if Heronix is hit by them, he is done for!
