Equilibria: Clyde and Arungar vs Edin!

Bakugan Evoblast Chaos Fury Episode 14


Edin and Dragoonior were also trapped in this world after being sent here. They weren't worried anymore as they knew what was going on with the Chaos Rulers' plans. Edin tried to break through walls with an axe, while Dragoonior (in monster form) used his weapon to help, hoping to find an escape hole. It wasn't enough as the walls are gigantic, and even though Edin got too tired, he still wouldn't give it up at all. Shortly after trying hard enough, Arungar and Clyde showed up, and taunted Edin about his attempt. Arungar suggested that Edin should give it up, stating that it wasn't worth to try, but Edin told him to leave him alone.

Enraged, Edin quickly challenged Arungar and Clyde to a battle, in hopes of taking them down for their disrespects, and possibly their responsibility to trap him and the other Team Blasters to this world!

[Clyde]

"Ha, look what we have here." Clyde sneered getting Fordeon out, "Bakublaster Launch! Gate Card set! Bakugan Brawl! Lets go Fordeon!"



"I'm going to crush you from out last encounter Edin." The sea serpent growls.

[Edin Ryu]

Edin completely disregarded Fordeon's comment towards him. His attention was directed towards winning the battle. "I'm a bit flattered that two people were sent to confront me. I guess it's already been proven that none of you stand a chance against us by yourselves," Edin taunted. He immediately activated his BakuMonitor and prepared to battle; however, the current circumstances can potentially be disadvantageous due to facing two Chaos Rulers. Despite the odds, Edin didn't care about it. At this point, he didn't have much a choice.

"Gate card, set!" Edin shouted as he threw his gate card onto the field. He gripped Dragoonior as he was getting ready to launch him onto the field. "Bakugan, brawl! Bakublaster, launch!" Edin threw Dragoonior onto the gate card, and he stood in his monster form. Projectiles were instantly sent to bombard the enemy while he used his shield to protect him from theirs.



"Bring it!" Dragoonior roared.

[Arungar Hephastion]

"Don't flatter yourself Edin." Arungar laughed. "I only came along because Clyde didn't want to come alone.  He doesn't like this area you see.  But since I'm here, I might as well help him to crush you." He looked at the bakugan sitting on his shoulder, "Are you ready Vesuvonoid?" He asked.  "Of course I'm ready!" The bakugan replied.  "Then let's go!" Arungar grabbed Vesuvionoid and threw him in. "Bakugan brawl! Bakublaster launch! Crush him with your massive fists Vesuvionoid!"

[Edin Ryu]

"That excuse was terrible. I'll give you credit though. It was better than the ones Clyde made in our last battle," Edin commented. He began observing his opponents to figure out the best tactic that he can use to beat them both. He paid close attention to his subterra opponent since he hasn't battled him before, and he doesn't know what that bakugan may bring to the table. He thought about keeping up the pressure on his opponents to see how they would react to it, and that's exactly how he was going to start off. 

Edin pulled up two abilities on his BakuMonitor and proceeded to activate them. "Ability activate! Burst Destruction!" Dragoonior unleashed a volley of gigantic fire balls from his mouth and targeted Vesuvionoid and Fordeon. The attack behaved similarly to a missile, and the impact would result in explosions. "Heat Thrasher!" Dragoonior roared. Using his power as a pyrus bakugan, he was able to call forth a meteor storm that consisted of large meteors that were going to burn and crush his opponents with a mighty force from above.

[Clyde]

"Ability Activate! Monster Wave!" Clyde shouts as Fordeon summons a tsunami-like wave that protected him and Vesuvionoid, and also giving Dragoonior a bit of damage. "This ability will protect both Fordeon and Vesuvionoid from the danger form above, while sweeping you off the ground, and maybe drowning a bit." Clyde shrugs. Shira really had to stop rubbing off on him.

[Edin Ryu]

Sweeping him off the ground and drowning him a bit? Edin almost laughed at his opponent's remark. It would seem as if they had forgotten Dragoonior is capable of flight, so he could easily just fly right over the wave and not suffer any of the effects of the attack; however, Edin was already thinking ahead. He wanted the attack to be a distraction as he knew they would have to do something about it. Now is the chance to land a severe blow on his opponent.

"You're still green, Fordeon..." Edin sighed. As soon as Dragoonior's attack was interecepted, Edin immediately activated another ability card. "Red Driver!" Dragoonior shouted. He got into a position to prepare to charge towards his opponents. His sword became surrounded in a red aura along with his shield held up to guard against any unexpected retaliation. With his sword pointed towards his foe, he rushed towards them, splitting the wave in half as he traveled along his path. He was able to land a severe jab to Fordeon, causing a lot of damage and sending him flying backwards. Dragoonior was able to use the impact's recoil to retreat back to his side.

[Arungar Hephastion]

"Well it didn't take Edin long to fire himself up" Arungar thought, "But let's see how he likes this." Arungar raised his arm into the air to activate an ability and called its name.  "Ability activate! Flowing Fist!" He chuckled as Vesuvionoid's fist shot into the air to grab Dragoonior. "This ability will leave Dragoonior in a rocky prison." he explained.  "Vesuvionoid's melts his fist and then, after surrounding the opponent with his fingers, Vesuvionoid allows it to cool, enclosing the opponent and restricting them from moving.  You won't get out of this one dragon boy."

[Edin Ryu]

Dragoonior was caught while in the air while attempting to make it back to his side of the field completely, and was constricted by Vesuvionoid's ability. "This is interesting..." Dragoonior commented as if he was a bit confused by the process his Subterra opponent went through. As soon as the ability's effect was completed, Dragoonior could move his head and neck as much as he wanted to, but anything from the chest down was immobile.


"I won't?" Edin challenged. Even though he said this, he did think about the situation he was in at the time. He still had to worry about the other hand that was available to Vesuvionoid that can potentially block a direct attack. Instead of attacking him directly to break free, he remembered that he doesn't need to attack him to get out of the hold. "Ability activate! Ability Breaker!" A flash of light was emitted from Dragoonior. The ability canceled the Flowing Fist ability that was holding him there, releasing him from the imprisonment and making his Subterra opponent's effect useless. "That was easy," Dragoonior commented.

The time it took Dragoonior to escape from the ability gave Fordeon time to regroup with his partner. Although Edin would like to keep up the pressure, he didn't want to rush into things due to him already being outnumbered. He didn't want to be too reckless as fellow Team Blaster Dimitri is. "This should make Dragoonior better suited for taking on multiple foes," he thought. He uploaded an ability he rarely used, and one that he thought he wouldn't have to use. "Ability activate! Absorbing Rage!" Dragoonior's eyes began to glow red. His sword glows and extends, making it more lethal and increasing its range. His shield also expanded to cover a larger area, increasing his defensive capabilities. His battle behavior will also be more aggressive in this state as opposed to his usual battle style. This could very well be comparable to Drago's lack of control over his own power; however, Dragoonior is in full control.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Dragoonior continued battling Fordeon and Vesuvionoid and he was doing fine against them, until the opponents managed to nullify Dragoonior's raging ability, Absorbing Rage! Dragoonior had then become unconsciously weakened, proving to be no match for Fordeon and Vesuvionoid. Edin and Dragoonior were nearly defeated, but luckily Jimmy arrived in the nick of time, throwing Bakugan to help save his fellow Team Blaster. This shocked Edin who was relieved to see Jimmy and Krystal here.



"BakuBlaster Launch!! Rise Blaze Betadron!!" After Jimmy shouted, Betadron shot projectiles at Fordeon and Vesuvionoid. This angered Clyde and Arungar to see Jimmy interrupting the battle. "Which one of you wants to be obliterated? How about you two?!" Betadron pointed towards the opponents Bakugans. In this tag battle, Betadron and Dragoonior started to work together very well.

"Edin, remember when we shared our fire powers in a tag team battle? Let's do it again together!" Jimmy suggested, giving thumbs up, and Edin agreed. Jimmy and Edin also decided to share the Bakugan, Betadron, in order to increase both Pyrus Bakugans' fire powers together to the maximum. "Ability Activate!! Blazing Nova Shot!!!" Both Jimmy and Edin shouted, and Betadron began charging up. "Go Betadron! Let the blazing duo rise to the maximum!!!" He reached out his hand, as flames appeared right behind Jimmy and Edin, declaring their epic move. Betadron became fully charged up. He flew forward with speed, and flames that surrounded him grew even bigger. Finally, he slammed onto Fordeon and Vesuvionoid real hard, with the energy bursting into flames. At the same time, Dragoonior released gigantic flames from his mouth at Betadron to help him increase power. This attack is similar to Flare Blitz and Fire Blast from Pokemon, as in combined moves and more powerful. Unable to survive a very high temperature blast like this, Fordeon and Vesuvionoid returned to their ball forms. They were severely burnt along with Clyde and Arungar who just fell. "Okay we did it guys, let's go now!" Jimmy said, catching Betadron as he turned back to his ball form. With that the brawl was over, Jimmy, Edin, and Krystal ran as they continued to search for the other Team Blasters, leaving Clyde and Arungar laying on ground.
