Last time on Bakugan Evoblast! Drake battled Jimmy who was corrupted by Xecarlos, using everything he's got. Despite Jimmy using many Forbidden Cards, Drake still crushed him in the end, destroying his evil mind! After Jimmy was freed, he and Heronix had finally woken up, but they don't remember anything since their battles with Xecarlos. Drake then explained everything to Jimmy about him and Heronix being brainwashed by Xecarlos. This angered Jimmy as he wanted to take down Xecarlos once and for all!

Jimmy and Drake decided to infiltrate the dark tower, entering inside. Meanwhile, Xecarlos was watching them through surveillance cameras in his vision, impressed to see how Drake was strong enough to save Jimmy from darkness and make it to this tower. He then ordered Arungar to destroy them, and Arungar accepted to do so. Arungar had also made a promise to destroy Drake and make Xecarlos' plan successful, not wanting to fail again. After Jimmy and Drake continuously defeated the Equilibrian troops together, they were confronted by Arungar who was eager to eliminate the Team Blasters. Drake knew an ambush like this by one of the Chaos Rulers would happen, and decided to take care of the angry Arungar so that Jimmy can move on to continue his infiltration to finding Xecarlos. "BakuMonitor Battlefield Activate!!!" With the battle just started, Arungar revealed that he had become even more powerful than he was before as he was about to prove his enemy right now! Will Drake be able to surpass him?

"Gate card, set!" Drake threw down a gate card onto the field in preparation for dealing with Arungar. He tossed Zorvash in his hand patiently while he tried to keep himself from laughing at his opponent's attempt to prove his worth to someone he knows nothing about. "Lets get this over with. I don't have time to lollygag," he rushed.

He then prepared to toss Zorvash onto the gate card. "Bakugan, brawl! Bakublaster, launch!" The bakugan soared through the dark air and landed on the gate card. When he reached his destination, he stood in his monster form as he sent projectiles to the opposing side. He entered the battle with a rather uptight attitude.



"We know how this goes," the lower half said. "You make your speech about how you're going to destroy us, and you get humiliated at the end when you lose horribly. Throw hothead in here so we can end this!"
