Drago emerged victorious leaving ashamed demon on the ground. It lost all its power and the only option was to escape. Noland saw that coming and attempted to stop the demon from escaping and possibly hurting innocent people. Demon turned back to Noland, covered in dirt and dust, ashamed and defeated by Drago and then hissed with its irritating voice. "Thisss...iss...unacceptable. How could I lossse?! How iss it possible?! I musst dessstroy...you!!..." . Demon was in a great pain and knew it could not fight anymore. Suddenly, it started hissing again: " Don't worry...you won this battle. But not the war...I will dessstroy you....once they give me the Syn...cough..." Demon did't manage to finish when it passed out. Then a voice was heard from somewhere; strange voice that obviously spoke to demon. "You are a failure. Defeated so easily...I give you way too much credit, but I still might need you" said the voice and a portal opened and pulled wounded demon out of the area. Noland was angry and disappointed. First Daniel escaped and now the demon as well.

Noland suddenly became interested in what the Bakugan had to say when he heard it's final comment. "Once 'they' give you what...?" Noland questioned before the Bakugan lost consciousness. "Who are 'they'? Why do you want to destroy me? What war are you trying to start?" It was just him speaking out loud at this point. There was no way he was going to get an answer with it in this condition. "Who are you?"
Suddenly, a portal was opened near their location, and a voice came out from it that was most likely directed to the defeated Bakugan. The portal then began to suck the demon into it. "Drago! Hurry up and finish it!" Noland signaled. Drago responded quickly by launching a fireball at it to deal the killing blow, but the attack did not reach it in time as the portal already closed with the Bakugan nowhere to be found. "Damn! That's two problems we have to worry about now!" Noland shouted in frustration. Drago also noticed a small detail that Noland hadn't at the time. "That's potentially three problems if that voice we heard wasn't Daniel's," he added as he returned to ball form and landed on his shoulder.
Noland began to hear the sound of sirens approaching the area they were in. The police have finally dispatched reinforcements to deal with the situation, but they were already too late. "It took them too long to get here. Lives were already lost and they were nowhere to be found as they were before. They make me sick sometimes," Noland pointed out. He was about to be in the process of slipping away from the scene undetected before Drago stopped him in his tracks. "Aren't you forgetting something? You need to speak with them." Noland strongly disagreed with this statement due to the circumstances of the surrounding area. "Right. I guess I'll allow them to see an African American male with a Bakugan standing next to the ruins of several corpses. I'm sorry, but that's not happening. I'll tell them at a more appropriate time," Noland countered.
With that said, Noland escaped the area without being seen and headed straight home. As he was traveling, he began to reminisce on what occurred that night in his head. "'Don't worry. You won this battle, but not the war,'" he repeated. "Is it inciting some kind of revolution? Judging by how persistent it was, I can see it coming back, and by then, I need to be ready. That goes for Daniel as well...wherever he may be."
