If you've watched Bakugan for a long time, you'd notice a pattern that the developers started with Dan, Marucho, and Shun. Across the entire span of the franchise, there are thee-person groups that were formed at one point and had a great significance in the story in a certain way. Which trio is the one that catches your attention the most, and what about them makes them such a hit?

Bruce, Kenta and Zack. I've read the story and it's much better than usual 'trios' I see. Dan, Shun and Marucho were a good trio in second season, but since the half part of second season Bakugan started to suck by bringing those Battle Gears and other stupid things. So, I lost interest. Third season sucked to me in first 5 episodes and I concluded I will give up on watching.

Gotta be Noland, Tank, and Tracy. There's a lot of development between the three that make them a powerhouse trio. Tank's strategic, yet offense centric style melds well with Tracy's defensive, more gung ho style and Noland's balanced battle style.
