The Resistors managed to drive Nero out of his hideout, but as expected, it was only the beginning of the tough battle that they now have to deal with. Montai released the Resistors from what would have been a prison for them. Based on the tone of her voice over the intercom, she was afraid of what Nero had resorted to doing, and urged the Resistors to go outside with extreme prejudice. After feeling numerous earthquakes that grew in power with each successful one, they finally made it outside in time to observe groups of Belphenoid, Asmodeus, and Abbadon run towards a set location where a large biomass began forming. The result of their combination was a being that distorted the planetary balance itself, and it was an opponent that stood tall over many structures. What stands before them now is the Fusion Bakugan that calls himself Baalenoid, and it has the combined power of a whopping 8000G. Even after gaining that much power, Baalenoid remained loyal to Nero and continued referring to him as Emperor Barodius due to the effects of the chip. Nero kept his command very simple for his new Bakugan: the complete destruction of the Resistors. When he heard the order, Baalenoid made a heavy battle roar that was powerful enough to make several buildings topple over. Despite being blown back several feet, Noland angrily stared down this new enemy and gripped Drago as he prepared to face the massive creature with the Resistors, the police, the military, and even the community by his side. Nero made the decision to stay on the ground to support Hydranoid rather than allowing him to fight on his own as he would usually do. Meanwhile, Baalenoid would act on his own accord. It was him versus the world. Unfortunately for both sides, there would be no middle ground; one side was going to have the ultimate casualty, so any attempt to ensure the survival of the opposing side was a useless endeavor from here on out. The Resistors were constantly going back and forth with each other over how Baalenoid and Hydranoid would be dealt with. Noland believed that the best thing to do was to have everyone else deal with Hydranoid while he serves as a distraction for Baalenoid due to his hatred for Drago specifically. Surprisingly, Karen was the one who objected to this method since Baalenoid packed too much power for him to handle by himself and stressed for him not to do the same thing Elico did earlier. When she put it that way, Noland was reluctant to say anything in his defense. He finally said that he doesn't feel comfortable with Baalenoid being in the same vicinity as Hydranoid, and believed that everyone would have a fighting chance if they were to split them up. He was secretly concerned about having three people deal with Hydranoid since they ended up losing them the previous time, and didn't want a repeat of the past. Markus knew where he was going with this and told him that they weren't going to make the same mistake twice unlike last time. Tank agreed and suggested that Tracy and Seiki go with him for healing and support. Allen assured his best friend that he would make sure Nero is driven into the ground this time, but told him that he better be careful against Baalenoid. Since they seemed sure of themselves, Noland accepted their comments, but told them all to act carefully since Hydranoid fights dirty. With that done, they all threw in their Bakugan. Noland, Tracy, and Seiki mounted their Bakugan and left to confront and lure Baalenoid while Allen led the charge against Hydranoid alongside Tank, Markus, and Karen.
"I think that's the first time I've lost an argument to Karen..." Noland was on Drago's back as he flew upwards to have clear eye contact with the disgusting beast across the horizon. "Keep one thing in mind, you three..." Drago began with a noticeable hint of fear in his voice. "We normally wouldn't allow humans to be this close when dealing with something like this. The only reason why you're getting away with it this time is due to what bigfoot just did to display his power. We can't have any of you being crushed by these falling buildings nor can we stop Baalenoid from attacking you directly." Noland nodded to acknowledge his understanding of the situation. "Tracy and Seiki, if things get really bad, I want you both to fall back. This guy looks like he can kill someone in one shot. Don't let that someone be any of you."
As they were staring down Baalenoid, numerous Skyress appeared behind them to support them, which was the courtesy of the Air Force joining the fight. Noland placed an ability on his BrawlX to test just how durable his opponent was. He also wanted to use it to see if he could piss Baalenoid off enough to have himself as his main target. "Let this be the end to you and the prick Barodius. Ability activate! Molten Surge!" Drago opened his mouth to charge a blast using his Pyrus energy. Once the short time span needed for the charge was complete, Drago unleashed a fiery stream of energy towards his opponents in the form of a giant beam. He shot it directly at his face, and then moved his head downwards so the entirety of the stream would inflict damage to as many body parts as he could hit.

Tracy partnered with Noland in battle once again, but this time, it was against someone who was arguably the strongest enemy that they've ever faced. One Pack member was already enough to completely annoy someone to death, but the fusion of a bunch of them was completely taking things overboard. Montai's description of Nero being pissed was an understatement when looking at Baalenoid for the first time. It would seem like he went completely crazy with power and wanted to destroy everything in sight. When Noland told her and Seiki to retreat if the situation spun out of control, she immediately responded by saying, "The only way I'm going to get back is if you come with me, Noland. I'm not going to leave you to face this thing by yourself; none of us will." Skystar gripped her staff when Drago began his attack procedure as she tried to get herself in the mental state of fighting someone so powerful. "We got your back, Drago. We're in this together."
Due to Skystar using her discs to achieve flight, any ability using Sentinel Automation would be impossible to use unless she were to find somewhere to land without being in range of getting smashed by Baalenoid. This was a good thing since she can bombard the enemy with her long-range attacks, which was what she was ultimately good at anyway. Tracy equipped the ability on her gauntlet and proceeded straight into the heart of the fight. "Ability activate! Arc Caster!" Skystar generated a steady flow of Haos electricity in her staff to shoot multiple lightning bolts in quick succession upwards. Because of this, a storm was formed above where a giant lightning bolt struck Baalenoid from the sky with unprecedented speed. The attack began zapping the enemy consecutively, depriving him of any breathing room from their attacks.

"Hai Hai, heard ya." Seiki says in response to what Drago and Noland had to say before diving into battle as she grips onto Ahio's white-green feathers.
"Yay! Look! More birdies!" Ahio cheers at the sight of the bakugan support from the Air Force, doing a small barrel roll causing Seiki to hug her partner.
"Calm down Ahio! Save your barrel rolls, flips, and dives for later when we are having to avoid the thing's attacks!" Seiki shouts, struggling to get a card out without the wind blowing it away. Her amber eyes glance over the text printed on it's surface. "You know... This song is rather fitting for a situation like this. Brings back memories" The girl sighs with a small smile, recalling the song she sang back before she was dragged into this mess.
The ventus bird hums in agreement, "You're right, it does match this situation." Her two pair of wings flap again to keep them in the air. "You know, before you start a war, you gotta know what you're fighting for." She chirps, referring to the song that Seiki had brought up
"Not revenge, but to help prevent stuff like what happened to me happening again. There's my resolve." Seiki replies as the card she was holding starts to glow. "Now I'm going to make that resolve happen to the best of my abilities! Ability Activate! Angel with a Shotgun!"
"The battle has begun!" Ahio shouts, once again referencing to the song as her wings started to glow and multiple feathers formed around them, much like their Senbonzakura attack but with more of a punch to it. The multiple feather bullets were sent towards Baalenoid's figure and went off with an explosion.

Baalenoid gradually moved towards the Resistors after hearing the command from Nero. It didn't take long for his challengers to step up and face him. Drago, Skystar, and Ahio sent powerful attacks towards him that caused numerous explosions to occur across his body. "Heh. Pathetic." Once the smoke cleared and revealed Baalenoid in the clear, he was still standing in the same place he was struck without any impairments. In fact, nothing on his body indicated that he had been damaged by the opposing side at all. He roared loudly after he had been hit to show that the only effect the attacks had on him was flaring his temper tantrum that was high enough already "It's clear where the difference in power lies after my transformation, Drago. You're better off just admitting defeat gracefully and silently as I tear through your hide over and over again."
Baalenoid looked beyond his Resistors after confirming that they were no threat to him at the moment. He observed the Air Force Bakugan being called in to support the Resistors in the air, but little did they know, strength in numbers was a concept that would never have relevance against a fearsome Bakugan like him. "Dispel Closer!" Baalenoid's eyes lit up before shooting a ray of light out of them. The shape of the beams was proportionate to his cornea, meaning that the beams were individually shaped like a cylinder. Anyone caught in its gaze would automatically have their power levels drained and placed into his possession, making this a technique that any future contender could not be hit by. "It will all be over soon, Drago! Just watch!"

"Nothing," Drago blurted out after noticing Baalenoid survive their attacks without any signs of damage. He tended to ignore his opponent's baffling about the power difference and preferred focusing on his actions rather than his speech. Unfortunately, the ability that Baalenoid just deployed spoke loud and clear for all to hear. "Move, Dragonoid! Move!" Noland screamed in a panic. Drago managed to make a quick descent below the radius of the two laser beams to avoid making contact. The Skyress that were following them apparently didn't get the memo. Once they were struck, Noland and Drago could only watch as their power was drained from them, which turned them into stone before they crumbled in mid-air, leaving no traces of the Skyress ever flying there. "Are you serious!?" Drago was stunned by what would have happened to them if they were included in that multi-kill. "He just...took out the Air Force...in one shot...one measly shot..."
Noland couldn't believe what just happened either. He was close to believing that they were truly out of their league so early in the battle after watching Baalenoid kill that many Bakugan so easily. Without saying another word about the scary amount of power his opponent had, he got ready to activate another ability. "Are you both okay?" Noland asked his battle partners before swiping his card across his BrawlX. "Ability activate! Oppressive Air!" Drago's body began to radiate intense heat that was sent across the skies towards Baalenoid. It enveloped the demon in his entirety in an attempt to cause multiple burns and clog his airways with the lack of oxygen the volcanic air provided. "It's going to take a lot more than talk to take me down, Dharak!" Drago bravely declared.

Tracy and Skystar were lucky to evade when they did since they are not as quick in the air like Drago and Ahio. She deactivated her discs to fall backwards to go under the laser beam before it hit her, only missing her by her chin. Tracy held on to Skystar as best as she could while Skystar went through the back flip and was relieved when she returned to her upright position with her thrusters back online. "Whew...that was close...way too close," Skystar sighed in relief. She observed the results of Baalenoid's ability along with Tracy and was not pleased with the effect it had on those poor Skyress. "Well...so much for strength in numbers." Tracy then addressed Noland's question before he moved to his next plan of attack. "We're fine, Noland. Just barely..."
Tracy followed Noland's lead with his attack and decided to use an ability that would aid in his attempt to subdue Baalenoid. "Ability activate! Sparking Field!" The hilt to Skystar's staff lit as a force field was created around her, Drago, and Ahio, which would not allow any attack of Baalenoid's to pass through; however, any attack made by her and her allies would ignore the shield. The shield also had numerous light particles appear in the sky that traveled from Baalenoid to Skystar, meaning that her foe's power was being transferred to her in atonement for the power he stole from the Skyress he murdered. "This one should do the trick..." Tracy hesitantly told herself in her mind, fearful of what other powers Baalenoid hasn't revealed yet.

The beams sent their way was somewhat uncalled for, but Ahio manages to dodge them with her numerous barrel rolls and flips. The Skyrresses on the other hand weren't as lucky, being shot, turned into stone, and crumbles in the air. "A-All in one shot?" Ahio whimpers, catching her breath. "That Baaleniod is the actual real deal here..."
Seiki's heart was being tugged a bit at the sight of the bakugans which were wiped clean in one shot, leaving no trace they were ever there other than the stone remains of them lying on the ground somewhere.
"So Drago is going offense and Skystar is going defense." The bird notes, watching as the Drago goes with a fire plain and Skystar puts up a magical looking barrier.
"Then we'll do a mix." Seiki responses followed by, "Ability Activate, Radioactive Force!"
Ahio shoots multiple spheres of energy towards both foe and friend. To allies, the force had double their abilities, as for the opponent, it did the opposite. "I still have a had feeling about this... This is just the beginning, isn't it?"

Baalenoid's opponents did not have anything spectacular to show for their opening attacks, so they responded back with another wave. This time, the dragon boy sought to bring Baalenoid down through methodical tactics as opposed to overpowering him, which was completely understandable after realizing the giant was impervious to his attack. He was consecutively seared by the Dragonoid's air attack while his power was being sapped by Skystar. Ahio, a bird who he would have liked to include in his Skyress massacre, strengthened their power to inflict even more damage to him. "Please, Drago. Leave the tough guy talk to your superior," Baalenoid asserted regardless of the attacks he was being affected by at the moment. Using Abbadon's Pyrus energy, he made short work of Drago's ability by covering himself in a red aura that allowed him to bypass its detrimental effects without any trouble.
Without delay, he prepared an attack that was derived from the capabilities of Asmodeus, the Bakugan known for his explosive power of the voice. He inhaled briefly as he activated his ability. "Vibrant Blow!" Once activated, Baalenoid released the most powerful sound wave ever emitted from the demon that carried all of the benefits from every sound ability Asmodeus ever had access to. The effects had all of the power necessary to reduce everything in his surroundings to rubble, stun all of those who were unfortunate enough to have an ear to listen, and disrupt the flow of a Bakugan's energy, which easily nullified a little speck of a shield Skystar surrounded herself with. Once he was done, he looked at the aftermath of his technique and said, "Is that enough action for you, Drago, or do you need another demonstration?"

When Baalenoid began inhaling, Drago knew that it was leading to a breath attack as was the case with Asmodeus plenty of times before. He chose to activate a defense to react to the ability as quick as he could before he was struck since he knew no one was dodging the attack. "Faultless Guard!" Drago covered his body with his wings when the ability came into effect. While it did prevent him from suffering a direct hit from the sound wave, he was still flung backwards as if his defenses never mattered. Vibrant Blow actually took him completely out of flight and was very close to crashing towards the ground. He was able to rebound in time to avert any substantial injury; although, skidding along the ground made the result of Baalenoid's power more terrifying than before.
Although he was dazed from all the sporadic movement, Noland quickly used an ability on his BrawlX as a quick response to Baalenoid's display of power. "Hold it together! Ability activate! Rage Fire!" Drago jumped backwards while he was still in motion and ignited both of his arms. When he landed, he punched the ground with his fists to send a fiery trail towards Baalenoid. Once it reached him, the ground beneath him collapsed to submerge him in a pillar of fire, causing him to topple over and feel the brunt of the attack. Seeing that an attack of his actually worked against Baalenoid, Drago yelled a suggestion to his teammates that was more of a command as he returned to the sky, but he tried his best not to come off as bossy. "His defenses will be down after hitting the ground that hard! Use one of your heavy attacks to get him while he's vulnerable!"

Skystar's shield was easily breached by Baalenoid's Vibrant Blow. She was not as fortunate as Drago was when it came to minimizing the damage received. The attack completely took her flight capabilities offline and made her plunge all the way to the ground. "Not good, not good!" Tracy shrieked as she was mainly the one to be concerned about when it came to damage. For this reason, Skystar placed Tracy in her hands and held her close to her chest as she crashed into the ground. "That one really hurt..." Skystar grieved when opening her hands to expose Tracy, forgetting to ask if she was okay before worrying about her own misfortune. Tracy returned to her post on Skystar's shoulder as she recovered. Noland and Drago managed to slip an ability past Baalenoid's field of view that allowed them to pull the rug under him, causing him to fall flat on his back. This was their chance.
"Nice shot, Noland!" Tracy shouted to commend his efforts. She pulled out three ability cards to use for her retaliation against Baalenoid. "Now it's our turn! Triple ability activate! Sentinel Automation plus Frost Fire plus Combustion Striker!" Skystar opted to remain on the ground throughout the duration of her attack procedure. She sent her discs outward to confront Baalenoid. When they reached him, Skystar's belt shifted to the Aquos symbol to make use of the Aquos attributed ability. They unleashed a blue streak of fire around him that would be able to encase the target in ice. This made it easier to break down opponents in a literal sense, and it also restricts the use of abilities. She then followed up with a Pyrus ability, shifting her belt to Pyrus to correspond to its attribute. The discs shot multiple bursts of fire balls towards the downed Baalenoid that caused numerous explosions over him with each individual impact. "Please...please have this assault hurt..." Tracy thought in her mind.

"Ack! Another one! Ability Activate, Galestorm Festival!" Seiki says as quick as she could, having Ahio rapidly flap her wings, putting up a wind barrier to avoid the soundwave attack. Even though this was a fairly sturdy wind barrier, Baalenoid's attack was much more powerful. Not only did it pierce through the barrier but it also damaged Ahio quite a bit. Luckily, the shot missed Seiki on the back of the ventus-darkus bird.
"I hate soundwave attacks." Ahio whines followed with a huff before listening to what Drago had to say about the situation. "Attack him hard?" She asks out loud, still somewhat recovering from the lazers that could have ended her life right then and there. "Seiki, do we have any good abilities? Indignation is one of my few bests, but I don't have enough energy at the moment to actually do another one..."
The said partner shakes her head, pats her bakugan's feathers in reassurance, and takes out a card, "No worries Ahio, I've got an ability as back up if this happened. Lets see how this one will play out. Ability Activate, Absolute Configuration !" And once she said that, Seiki ducks down to hide as well as she could in Ahio's white feathers so the ability could work at its best.
The bird holds her head down and murmurs some kind of incantation, causing multiple illusions of herself to surround the surrounding skies, around 20-ish illusions. Those illusions shot themselves towards Baalenoid, and even though there were just mere illusions, they sure did feel like the real deal.

Baalenoid was able to blow back his opponents with relative ease, but he didn't expect to be challenged by Drago in his rebound attack. His Rage Fire ability collapsed the ground beneath him so that he would fall to the ground. He was successful in causing the massive beast to do this, and his teammates bombarded him with powerful abilities to capitalize on the opening the Dragonoid gave them. "Lucky hits, Resistors," Baalenoid decided. Due to his large body, it did take him a bit longer to rise to his feet in comparison to how he was in his miniature forms, which is a trait that can become rather annoying at times after getting used to how it felt to be a Hynoid. Once he stood back up, he had numerous traces of smoke trailing off of the specific places he was shot. Not one of those attacks had any visual representations of significant damage on his body, so he got back in to keep on keeping on as he usually does. "It's a shame," Baalenoid conjectured. "You won't be getting any more of those."
Reinforcements arrived to replace the deceased Skyress that Baalenoid easily took care of. They appeared as a squad of Lasermen that began annoying him through the repeated usage of mortar strikes. The Robotallion battalion didn't do a good job at putting a smile on his face either since they were using heavy ordnance against him. "This is what you've resorted to after realizing your inferiority to me? You would dare waste my time with fodder?" Not wanting to distract himself with the non-immediate threat, he chose to call upon his own resources; although, the method he chose to call them with was a bit disturbing. "I hope you don't mind having a player two. Havoc Spawning!" Rather than regurgitating the Pack members inside of his body to use as his fighting force, he opted to have them use their cloning ability instead of having to bring them out. He opened his mouth as the technique was being cast. Belphenoid, Asmodeus, and Abbadon flowed out of his mouth like a river.
Once completed, Baalenoid shut his mouth and returned his attention back to the annoying pests who have shown to be problems to his overall reign of terror. "Go, my brothers! Seize the opportunity! Eradicate them all!" The newly spawned Pack jumped across all directions using a variety of abilities in their arsenal such as Thunder Probe, Gehenna Maximum Striker, and Apocalypse Vortex to rapidly assault their enemies with high-powered attacks and summon Doom Beings to add to their already impressive amount of soldiers. With everything else taken care of besides the Dragonoid, Skystar, and Ahio, who were having difficulty coping with this many Pack Bakugan all at once, Baalenoid sought to deal with them as quickly as possible. "You're mine, Drago!" Baalenoid amplified his claws with his powerful energy and made long strides towards his opponents to get physical.
While Baalenoid was taking his time picking his opponents apart, Nero was locked into a final duel with Allen Silva, and he was backed by Tank, Markus, and Karen. Using Dual Hydranoid's heavy-hitting abilities and utilizing his durable body to its strengths gave Nero the safe haven he needed against four powerful opponents. Neither side really had the upper hand against one another in terms of inflicted damage, so Nero continued playing it safe since he was essentially forced to after the Resistors received Robotallion and Lasermen as reinforcements, and they chose to target Hydranoid as well. He was now more in tune with his enemies after Baalenoid spawned the Pack, and they also summoned Doom Beings from the Doom Dimension to aid in his destructive endeavors. Now it was a considerable number of Pack Bakugan standing by, awaiting the command to aid Nero and Hydranoid whenever they deem it necessary.

Allen was fully prepared to end this right here, right now. He even had some backup in this final battle. Both sides had powerful defense and offense, trading blow for blow." This is it guys. Our opportunity to take Nero out. All that pain, all that destruction, here's where we lay that to rest." Allen was as focused as he'd ever been. His best friend was covering Baalenoid, and left Hydranoid to his group. And Allen won't let him down. Allen held up his first set of abilities." Dual ability activate, Gravitron Balistae plus Fusion ability Gravitron Triad."
Gorem charged up the energy blast, preparing to launch the attack. After that ability got on the way, he also shot the two other prongs to his opening move. The three blasts each headed for one of the heads blind spot." Take this you psychotic monster!"

"You really think an army is going to keep us down?" Tank yelled, grabbing two abilities from his pocket, "Seriously, how dumb are you? Double ability activate! Weapon of the Gods - Bow of Artemis plus Poison of the Hydra!"
Next to Gladion, in a burst of silver light, appeared an intricate silver bow. Grabbing it, Gladion became equipped with a magical quiver that held too many arrows to count. Running towards the army, Gladion used Gorem's massive body to launch himself into the air. Drawing a few arrows and placing them all on the bowstring, Gladion pulled back and launched the volley, quickly reloading and firing subsequent vollies after.
The arrows struck true, landing in the hearts of the Doom Dimension army. Their bodies began to crack and decay, falling apart quickly as their life force was drained. A large number of arrows planted themselves into Hydranoid, penetrating his hide and infecting the massive dragon with multiple large doses of a legendary potent poison.
"Hit him again, Allen!" Tank yelled.
