Dharak was smashed by the sudden turnaround coming from Gorem, a much-needed one to say the least. The ground shook by the dark dragon being put down in this fashion. He was shown on the ground once the dust settled, unable to move at all.
"Well...that one...had a bite to it..." Dharak admitted before digitizing away from the scene. "Ouch..."
The masked person didn't seem all that disturbed by the sudden defeat considering that he/she had plenty of more resources to use with that species. Dharak was sure to be seen again, just like he always seems to accomplish.
"So you've defeated him," he/she said just to announce the obvious. "Dharak's true body was brought out because the Hurranians salvaged his DNA from the Hynoid's body. This allowed them to separate the two species so they can be used independently from each other. Now he's registered in their database on his lonesome, and he may very well be the most powerful species in their arsenal. They can only make him much stronger now with all that they have."
The arrival of a few people was very audible since they were running full speed towards them both. That was clearly the time to leave before he/she got put in an ugly situation.
"Remember this mask, Juggernaut. I shall return for you sooner than later." He/she digitized away from the location, just like the Hurranian-influenced Dharak.

Dharak was defeated. He actually beat the more powerful form of the pack. But that was all he could manage. Right after they left, Allen fell, unconscious.
Allen oppened his eyes. He appeared to be outside again. Gorem sat at his usual place on Allens shoulder. Something felt completely different about where he was. At first he couldnt put his finger on it. It wasn't until a few minutes had past, and he surveyed his sorroundings that he figured it out. The entire world was without the veil of death and pain. He turned to Gorem." Is it just me, or is everything much happier than a minute ago?"
" I feel it too. Its like none of it ever happened. " Gorem responded, just as confused as Allen was at the current state of the world." No pack, no hurrians. Just the normal earth problems."
Allen continued to look around, and he saw many more bakugan than he was used to. He then focused on two people he could see, not too far away, but just close enough where he couldnt make out features. As he got a little closer, he saw it was Noland and Alana, both actuallly smiling." I dont know where we are, or how we got here, but i like it here."
" its been a long time since we saw this scene."
" yes. Way too long."

"Ugh, you bloody nuisance!" Yita snarls as she hops off Neri's back and marches up to Allen who was clearly under the effects of her brother-like sister bakugan's sleeping ability- whatever it was called, that tattoo there was 100% proof that Niko is the reason. This wasn't the first time, not the last for sure. "Sometimes I wonder how I'm related to you." She mutters, glancing at Niko before going back to the task at hand.
How was she going to wake someone like him up? He wasn't Noland so that option was out of the question. Okay then, time to go with the boring ways to wake someone up. She kneels down beside the subterra brawler and pats his face with her clothed hands. "Hey, get up." When that didn't work, she went with harsher pats. "Get up!" That seems to have done the trick, Allen was stirring from his sleep and the sleep tattoo on his eye was fading away.
She then glares at her sister and walks over to her sleeping form. "You deadbeat!" Yita growls as she kicks Niko's side, causing the older sibling to flop to the floor and slowly awaken from her slumber. "How many times have I told you, stop putting people to sleep like that!?" Yita screeches, waving her arms towards Allen to emphasize her point.
Neri trots over to Donovan, swiping her claws in his face. This causes the darkus bakugan to awaken and jump back with a yelp. Niko had already gotten off him so atleast she wasn't hurt by him. "You two have really got to stop doing that. It's unsettling seeing people drop down to sleep like they're dead." The feline growls, her tail flicking in an aggravated manner, her fur somewhat standing on the end making her look bigger than she appears to be.

A faint smile appears on Niko's face, "So that's what it is..." She murmurs before slowly getting up using one hand, the other one rubbing the side Yita had harshly kicked.
"He has such a nice dream..." She mumbles, slowly getting up with the help of Donovan. It had been a while since Yita had kicked her this hard, she could have woken up with a broken rib. "I wish I could tell her... why..." Niko mumbles before wincing, holding her hand to the kicked area. Another bruise would most likely form there by the next day. Atleast it wasn't as harmful as the rest of them. "But... she wouldn't understand..." Donovan nods and gently nudges her in reponce. He is the one that told her that Yita wouldn't understand after all.
She shifts her attention to behind Yita, "So... did you bring them?" Her question was answered by some figures in the distance. The Silver Knights came up to the scene and began to, separate the people taking the audience out of the area.

Noland's eyes flashed open like he was breaking out of a trance.
He was laid down on top of a hospital bed. It was comfy, but there was some discomfort to be had. He had the feeling that he was being watched very closely, and that he was. A group of five high-ranking officials within the Silver Knights lined up around the room to keep watch over him in case he woke up the same way he was a couple of hours ago - definitely not as long of a slumber as Seiki's was.
Then there were his restraints, pulse-like chains wrapped around his arms and legs to fasten him tightly to the bed. This was likely a countermeasure in case he broke free from them, which was very possible given his increased strength in his Gundalian form. It did seem to be a bit much that they would curb his movement and have guards stand around him, but it was necessary for obvious reasons.
During this time, he got the feel for the room: a high-tech rectangular room vibrant with tools and guards. He finally caught wind of Alana being in there. She was the closest one to him out of everyone. He made eye contact with her. The scared, worried, and concerned look she had on her face failed to register in Noland's mind enough to get him to respond. He had no words to say.

I am a devil wearing angel's wings
The moment Noland wakes up and looks around the gloomy doctors' room filled with officers is when Lydia slowly heads in through the main door with her laptop and Angelight in human form by her side. One of Noland's 'four girlfriends' stands in the room mixed up between fear and care towards Noland and is not saying anything, so Lydia decides to take the word instead. "Oh, look who's alive." She says jokingly and puts her laptop on a nearby desk. She drops that cheerful attitude real fast as it was not time or place for jokes. Eden member inside Silver Knights' facilities was always a matter of tensions, but considering what is going on she and her personal team are allowed to enter this specific facility to treat Noland, Kendrick and Drago. No, forget about that. She is going to exploit her staying here to the fullest.
Lydia carefully examines all the machines in the room to check if there have been any chances since the last time she checked up on Noland's status. She then quickly takes her glasses of and her violet eyes mildly flash and after a second she puts glasses back on. "Ah, it seems you're going to be fine." She says silently and moves away from the bed and turns towards Noland again. "You and Drago were treading on some thin ice with that stunt you did back there. You endangered your own lives." She says again silently as she was concerned for her patient's health. Seeing people getting hurt in front of her is and has always been something horrifying, but it just seems to be the world they all live in; just a big pit of despair surrounded with monsters and deaths.
"Little Kendrick is the luckiest one of you three. Surgery was a close call. And you are lucky you haven't suffered any brain damage." Angelight starts talking about Noland's little brother whose health was in the worst condition; his Gundalian form was unleashed and on the top of that he was injured by police officers. Silver Knights were practically forced to invite 13 doctors from Eden to save Kendrick's life and even with that it was still a close call. "That's if I don't cause you brain damage, idiot!" Lydia angrily interrupts Angelight's talk and hastily walks towards Noland's bed grabbing him by his right ear and pulling it aside causing him very unpleasant pain in the ear. She then hisses some words through her teeth, but far beyond understanding. She then lets his ear go and backs away in a few steps putting that anger aside. "Anyway, how do you feel now? Any better?" She asks with a straight face and considering she just pulled the hell out of her patient's ear it might be considered as sarcasm.
"I sleep in darkness, I feast on light."

"And you're lucky Drago missed."
There was no question in anyone's mind that Noland was going to be upset about having his ear pulled. The increased tension in his head caused his body's inherent electricity to surface and instantly short-circuit his bindings. He didn't move a muscle when this happened. It was for the better that he didn't since he alerted everyone in the room by accidentally showing his destructive capabilities once again.
Despite the short-lived anger, he understood why she did it. He was surprised that was all she did to him.
"Yeah...I deserve that...probably even more..." he conceded. He yawned briefly, still a bit drowsy from the sleeping spell Donovan put on him. He didn't bother covering his mouth either. He was still afraid of what the guards might do if he lifts an arm.
"Anyway...I'm fine. I'm just angry, sleepy, and a bit worn out. I've never felt so drained before." He turns his head to look at Lydia directly to ask a question he almost didn't want to ask. "What does it look like outside?"

Listen to howl of our souls Sound of doors fills up the room and dark figure enters the room. That is Alex returning from drama with media and military on the outside. He hears question that Noland asks Lydia and decides to answer it instead of her, so he just jumps in with the talk. "Outside is just peachy." He says sarcastically and at that moment Dante enters the room through slightly open doors. "Stop running." Dante complains to Alex who was way too fast to be followed by Dante in orb form.
"After 2-hour long negotiations with stupid politicians, what did not go well, we had to put the barricades around our Headquarters because not everyone was very happy about you still being alive." Alex says rapid-fire-fast. He hastily walks through the room facepalming at all that he just went through and what he is about to go through after his chit-chat with wanted Gundalian is over. "As if that building being in ruins is not enough, we had to come up with a cover-story for the media, but it's kinda hard when there were many who saw you transform over there. And THAT is only a tiny problem..." Alex complains scratching behind the ear in stress.
He moves curtains slightly and a little strain of light bathes the room. Alex sighs desperately while looking down at the street where several Knights' Bakugans were lined up expecting government's agents or crazy civilians trying to do something. "You are the most wanted person in the USA. Those politician bastards want you dead. Even civilians. God knows what other Resistors think. Bastards are working so hard to sneak someone up in here and slit your throat. As that is not enough we had to send someone for your grandmother and that other Resistor's family; they could be infected."
Alex sighs once again and leans against the window. He gazes towards the ground deeply plunged in thoughts. He has a very exhausted and stressed facial expression; almost like an old man who was struck hardly by all the horrors life has to offer. "Pfff...you know what? They're gonna make it. YOU are gonna make it. We'll make sure you do. Do you have anything you want to tell us or ask us? I'd be glad to help you in any way I can."
"Tremble in fear. That is all you can do, humans."

"Of course..." Noland expected that kind of answer, not that it would soften the blow. He may as well consider himself a worldwide criminal. He didn't look like he had any regrets about what he did since Kendrick dying to them wasn't an option, so if he had to take the uncommon route and trade several lives for one, he'd do it all the time when it came to Ken. That's just how he felt about him, and that wasn't going to change with a couple of fur.
The comment that struck him the most was the thought that Alex was on his side despite his occupation and their confrontations.
"Gee, you're really doing a good job at making me feel like a jerk right now, even if you're not trying to," Noland responded, referencing their previous encounters, including the one in his outburst. "I'm not really understanding why I'm still alive though. Isn't it supposed to be your job to kill me because I'm a Gundalian?"

Listen to howl of our souls That kind of question made Alex think. It is a job of a Knight to eliminate threats that threaten lives of others, but yet Noland, who is a Gundalian, is being protected by Knights. "Killing you for being a Gundalian would be like killing an African because his skin is not white. No rule says that every Gundalian is evil. And you I reckon you feel bad after all this. Would an evil bastard feel bad after that? I doubt it." Alex states calmly answering Noland's question. It is not just him who feels the same way; entire organization he belongs to is based on similar beliefs.
"Why would someone with intention of harming humanity fight terrorists and Hurranians so persistently to protect humanity? We all have our dark moments. To be perfectly honest, if someone shot someone I cared about I wouldn't have acted any different than you. They shoot someone you love because they 'think' he is a threat..." Alex sighs and crosses his arms and legs taking a relaxed posed while taking a long time and words to answer one question. This is not the first time someone was in the same situation like Noland. It is not the first time this question was asked. It was asked many times; by many who have been accused of something they did not do or were forced to do.
Alex sighs again and then moves away from the window walking past Lydia. "Plus..." He begins again and his left eye starts glowing intensely as he looks at Noland. "...Being 'different' is something we share. I've been in your position a few times. Called a monster because I am...well, whatever I am actually. Daniel was in the same shoes as you, as well. He did not want any of that to happen...but it happened. Killing you, Noland, wouldn't be much different than killing my own brother. " Images flash before Alex's eyes as he remembers what happened to Daniel and then what happened to Noland. Both did things they did not want to do; both still regret it and are afraid of what future holds for them. Daniel was known as a vicious terrorist and now is part of Silver Knights.
"And being part of Silver Knights is not doing what government tells you. It is about doing what is right. We consider you an ally. A friend." Alex ends his long answer silently. Despite what happened he does not take a hostile stance towards Noland. For a reason. As already said, his brother was in the same situation. He could have easily killed Noland when he was put to sleep by Donovan, but he did not do it. He could have done that and said police did it, but it was this simple to him; Noland was simply not evil.
"Tremble in fear. That is all you can do, humans."

Noland was completely silenced by Alex's sentiment. His view of him took a completely turnaround. He wasn't as bad as he thought. It became a repetitive thought, but the word "ally" popped right above Alex's head after pushing "foe" out of the way. This kind service put all of that tension to rest.
"I'd get up to shake your hand right now, but I'm too tired to move." The remorse started to sink in a little bit. "I guess I'll have to settle for thanking you from here despite it not being enough for what you did for me. I know I must have been a hassle to deal with. I'm sorry for putting all of you through that, especially you, Alex, for the time before last."
Noland turned his head to look at Lydia next.
"What's your reason? If I remember correctly, you aren't apart of this organization. I'm guessing I'd be wrong if I thought you wanted to rip off my ears the next time you put your hands on me?"

I am devil wearing angel's wings
Alex sure does take his time answering a tiny question, so Lydia simply plunges back into her thoughts and turns laptop on to pass time. She notices that officers are keeping an eye both on her and Noland. Reason for it was that two organizations have never trusted each other completely; many still accuse one another of pretending to follow the same goal. Nothing weird considering how conservative and over-protective these organizations are, but if some greater evil was to strike their lack of cooperation at times might be a problem.
"Huh... Me?" Lydia snaps out of her laptop-time after Noland asks her why she wants to help. It is truth, she is not a member of Silver Knights. She became a member of Eden long time ago; after she was saved from claws of doctor Kyuki. Eden does take same stance as Silver Knights in terms of treating Gundalians like trash; that law is pointless and too violent in their opinion. However, Lydia's personal reason is not the law Eden abides by, but her own moral. "I don't want to see anyone get hurt..." She replies to Noland. She does fight from time to time, but seeing someone get hurt is a terror in her eyes. She is often reluctant to hurt her own enemy and for this reason is often behind the lines as a support rather than real fighter despite her potential. "Everyone's life is precious. As long as I live I'll go by that." She explains.
"Just as he said...you are our friend. You helped us out more than you know. We will never turn our backs at you." She admits happily.
"I sleep in darkness. I feast on light.."

It was difficult for Alana to hear these things coming from Alex. The most disturbing details were obviously how Noland now outranks the terrorists when it comes to who is at the highest threat level and Alex being related to Daniel. Their blood relation had nothing to do with Daniel's previous activity, but it was what Alex could have been thinking while that was going on was what was troubling to think about. She didn't know what Noland did to help them as Lydia says, and she didn't really care either. All she wanted to know was what happens next.
"Hey...um, sorry to interrupt, but I have a question," Alana chimed in unannounced. She turned to Alex for a possible response in case he listens, which she assumed he would. "What does this mean for Noland in the long-term? What are you going to do if this doesn't blow over?"
"And what does this mean for us?" Hydranoid spouted."Is there a possibility that we or any other Resistor could be targeted too?" He didn't want to imply that he was going to betray Noland and Drago if the answer was yes, but he wanted to know for his own information, just so he wouldn't be surprised if someone attempts an assassination.

Listen to howl of our souls "To be perfectly honest, I don't know at the moment." Alex replies to Alana's question. This problem was still being discusses among higher-ups of Silver Knights. They all know that just letting Noland go out of the hospital after he recovers will probably immediately end in him being attacked by someone; government's assassins, terrorists who know he is 'like them' and even random civilians. "Right now, if he leaves the place he will probably be targeted by someone in a minute. Terrorists, crazy civilians playing heroes or even government's assassins. That is a problem." Alex explains the issue of what would happen upon him departing from the hospital. While he was inside Silver Knights' areas not even government dares to make a direct approach, but outside would be a mess.
"As for the rest of you a situation is a little brighter. Some say Resistors are Noland's partners in crime. Some say opposite. The fact that you and Silva did not do anything when he transformer made it look like to some as you were supporting that act. However, if you play your cards right you won't have to worry...And by that I mean 'don't make scenes'." He explains to Hydranoid. That was their situation. Other Resistors were in a bit better position, but it was still fifty-fifty.
"Superiors are working on a story...so they remove dirt from your names. I don't know the details, but it worked before. In case people don't buy it that might be a problem, but we have our ways of fixing that. In the worst case I'd suggest you to take our protection or become a Knight yourself. " He suggest to Noland. Protection of Silver Knights is something consisting of being protected 24/7 by highly-skilled Knights. And being a member of Knights was a solution that would make anyone terrified of pulling the trigger. Government pulling a trigger on Knight would be straight way to war. Same would happen if Hurranians decided to attack a Knight. If terrorists or civilians attempt something like that their punishment would be worse than victim's death itself.
"Tremble in fear. That is all you can do, humans."

I am a devil wearing angel's wings
Seeing all that serious talk a slight yawn came to Lydia as her mind continues to get plunged into thoughts from all that boredom. Since Alex is basically the source of all that seriousness in the room she decides to take him as her next victim since pulling his ears so many times was not enough.
"How about we transfer him to Eden then?" She smilingly says to Alex with a relaxed tone and draws a few looks from Knights' officers who were guarding Noland.
"All this serious and negative attitude from you is going to put him in the grave before he gets out of here." She 'complains' to Alex expecting him to make an outburst just like Daniel did when she attempted to make him marry Admiral's younger sister. Sometimes distinction between her being serious and joking was impossible to recognize.
"Maybe he'd feel better there. I vote 'yes'." She smilingly says again and raises happily rises her hand in the air.
"I sleep in darkness. I feast on light."
