Listen to howl of our souls Hearing what Lydia says Alex nearly starts to panic and question her sanity. In all that serious talk he couldn't even realize what she was getting at. "Are you crazy, woman?!" Alex shouts angrily at her. "At the time like this all he can get by getting out is a bullet and you suggest taking him out."
"Oh excuse me, princess, for being so negative. I'm being realistic... unlike some of us in this room..." He complains to Lydia's statement that his attitude was so negative. In his opinion, which was not even necessary to explain, being negative and being realistic was close to being the same thing in this situation.
"Your attitude is killing my brain cells..." He hisses through his teeth as he turns towards the window and stares through it watching the streets that were surprisingly empty. Perhaps people were afraid to approach Knights' property at the time. Perhaps they are afraid of the fact Noland is there.
"Tremble in fear. That is all you can do, humans."

Hydranoid scoffed at Alex's response as if he of all Bakugan would cause any trouble. He wasn't too happy that he was a target...again. "Gee, thanks Allen. You're a really solid wall for us all, putting me in front of it to watch it all unfold like a little fairy bitch," he sarcastically insulted.
"Hydranoid..." Alana called out to him for the comments about the argument with Allen to cease. "I get what you're saying, but now is not the time. I'd...rather not do anything to piss him off right now. I'm afraid to admit that I'm...kinda afraid of him in this state. Why is that...?"
Thinking along those lines somehow brought an image of Barodius next to Noland's face. She didn't know how she was seeing that, but it wasn't welcome. She was looking at him the entire time he was asleep. Why is this feeling suddenly starting to happen? It just didn't make sense. Maybe it was because she just saw Noland and no one else before, but as the thoughts of his victims slowly start to sink into her head, the more she unwillingly sees Barodius in him.
"Noland...I'm sorry... If I was stronger, I would've..."

Becoming a Silver Knight sounded really cool in theory. It was a good resume builder...that is if it would matter after what he did. If Alex was any indication of the level of protection he'd have, Noland would be hard-pressed to not accept that invitation. Then there was Eden, Lydia's organization. He wouldn't even have to be protected all that much assuming he can be healed over and over again. That sounded nice in the given circumstances; however, this was not thought about too long. He knew he was in trouble, but so was Allen and Alana. This was where he ran into some issues with himself.
Hydranoid's comment helped him conclude that Allen was most likely responsible for their stationary actions during the battle, not that he was concerned about that fact at all.
"Stop it," Noland cut her off. He made eye contact with her shortly afterwards, not noticing any changes in her behavior based on her eerie thoughts about him. "I don't know what happened with the both of you while I was fighting, but no one managed to kill any of you. That's a blessing. I'm the one responsible for you two being put up for slaughter in public, so it should be me receiving all the flak, Hydranoid."

"We're going to have to disagree on that one, Noland," Hydranoid responded. "Gorem putting his big head in my way had me thinking a lot about what happened out there. I saw myself in Drago doing all of that damage. He was a good soul that had just gone mad, just like I had. Being forced to watch you go through that because of those pussies while you stepped out of your boundaries to save me is a really big problem."
Alana began to realize that Hydranoid was now saying what she was too afraid to say. Noland and Drago are the reasons why they're both still alive, so it only made sense for them to want to return the favor if they ever needed to be helped out of a dark place. Allen and Gorem wouldn't allow them to do that. She didn't care about the protective factor of it either. The possibility that he could've died and all they did was watch was what she focused on, and she couldn't overlook that.
"It was Allen...he stopped me from entering," Alana admitted. "I guess I remember how that dark power felt. I didn't want you to get too far into it like I had. It made me do terrible things; it made me lose you. I didn't want that to happen again..."

There was the comment full of a lot of implications. It had finally been said, and now Noland felt even worse.
"So be it, Hydranoid. Do what you do. Whatever happens happens," he conceded. He wasn't in the mood to argue with Hydranoid over who was right or wrong in that exchange. They're alive, so that was all he wanted to see or hear about. Anything else concerning their little quarrel was irrelevant to him.
"Just for your own information, I would've told you to stay out of it just like I told you and Allen to stay put on my way to Capitol Hill. I'm glad I didn't have to say anything this time. The only decision that could've been made if any of you were struck down would be to kill me because I definitely would've sunk this continent." That wasn't the dark power speaking for him that time. He actually meant what he just said.
"In any case, I don't want anyone in here to feel comfortable just because you're offering me your help. If these people want to hate me, then I'll settle for it being only me. I took away some of their family members, so it's to be expected. If her or Allen gets touched, I WILL destroy them all."
Noland then shifted to a calmer approach to the situation after getting that out of his system.
"So...what's the difference between the Silver Knights and Eden? Which one will we feel safer in? I'm saying we because...I got Alana and Allen mixed up in this, so I have to protect them too."

I am a devil wearing angel's wings
Lydia was listening to two Resistors' conversation and honestly felt bad for both of them. Neither one of them wanted anything bad to happen, but there was nothing they could do in the end. It was quite hard on Alana who wanted to do something, but did not do anything. In that situation maybe it was for the best, but that was not for present, but for future to decide.
"Silver Knights..." Lydia calmly replies while typing on her laptop checking her schedule for the day.
She then continues. "Almost no one dares to attack them. Those who did so ended far worse than their victims..." She explains quietly about the Knights. They are quite dangerous when someone tries to do harm to them. That is why no one dares to attack them.
"Eden's strength is tiny compared to Knights'. You should go with Knights. They will protect you, Alana and Allen. All other Resistors if you seek so... " Lydia explains not wanting to say positive things about Eden since she knows that protection is Knights' thing and unlike with Eden those who tend to harm Noland would be very reluctant to do it since he is a Knight. With Eden there would still be a chance of getting attacked since it is not primarily oriented on fighting.

Hydranoid turned around in confusion at what Lydia suggested. He was thinking that she was serious with the Eden proposal. He didn't think she'd be trolling, not at a time like this anyway. "So much for thinking Eden was actually equal or close in power to the Knights..." Hydranoid sighed.
"Well, we're on your turf, so we should be able to work with whatever we're given. That's all we can really do now." As much as he thought differently about the whole situation, Hydranoid had to accept that this was happening and must adapt accordingly; otherwise, he'd be left behind.
Alana wasn't too accepting of that happening, so what she said next may very well be the most insensitive remark that has ever left her mouth.
"So this is what being a Terrorist feels like..." She mumbled that under her breath, but some definitely heard what she said.
"That was all in your heads. That wasn't actually said." Hydranoid curled into his ball form and flew straight into Alana's noggin. As much as he said some things that are a bit controversial, he never long-jumped over the line like that. That was too much, even for him.

If Alana felt like a Terrorist for her and Allen's situation, then what was Noland? Surely, he either had to be equal to a Terrorist or someone worse. That's all Noland heard from the remark. She just had to add fuel to the fire by saying something filled with implications and unnecessary badgering. He didn't want to give her or Hydranoid the benefit of seeing him react to that. He looked them over and continued on about his business.
"If it's alright with you two, I'll wait a little bit before I consider joining either organization. I don't want to commit to either one of you unless it's absolutely necessary. I have a feeling it will come to that, but I'll let my faith run out before I choose."
Noland wanted to be optimistic about someone out there seeing what the police did wrong and actually exposing it, but they may have seen his horns and skin and simply said nevermind.
"I'm thinking of only one thing I absolutely need to know about," he remembered. "What are we going to do about the infected?"

Listen to howl of our souls Alex felt an urge to punch Alana in the face for saying what she said. Not only that she called herself the terrorist, but implied people like Noland Allen were terrorists. And that was not the worst thing. Three members of Grim Reapers, special division of Silver Knights, are people very close to Alex and they ALL were labeled for being different and were either called terrorists or freaks. They were all forced into things, like Noland, and were hated for that. They all became Silver Knights, so they could fight for what they really believe in; with their free will. What Alana said implied that even they were terrorists altogether.
That especially disturbed him because one of those three was his own brother who was forced into mass-murdering and still cannot sleep like a normal person because nightmares of those events repeat in his slumber. And yet, Alex decides to keep his mouth shut not wanting to start an argument with an obvious all-out pessimist like Alana. In Alex's opinion she could not complain; when you fight for the right cause these things are bound to happen.
"They were gathered not long after we brought you here. They are in our quarantine area with Eden doctors... If they fail I am positive Lydia will not." Alex explains. "If you want visit them you can do it through the glass and speakers. Maybe you want to talk with your grandmother."
"Tremble in fear. That is all you can do, humans."

"I do." Noland slowly got off of the bed. The sound of the claws on his feet touching the floor took some time to get used to, but that's what the form came with. Complaining about it wouldn't take it away.
"While we're on that topic, I think it's important for you to know that Kendrick and I may carry an inherent immunity to Hurranian infection."
That was the only explanation he could come up with to answer how he and Kendrick were unaffected by the first outbreak considering they were around infected people before without any negative effects to their health. Kendrick was also around Grandma and the Hedericks while they were infected. There weren't any reports that showed any Hurranian being active in his system. Their Gundalian heritage may have proven to be useful to them after all.
"Is there anything else I should know about my health? Anything I should do specifically?"

I am a devil wearing angel's wings
"You are doing well so far." Lydia says. "Stay away from stress and overdoing with physical activities. So, no pointless arguments like the one minute ago and no running around chasing Pokemons, okay?" She explains and closes her laptop. She thought it might be a good idea to check on infected people brought to the quarantine.
"I assumed you two were immune after finding zero tracks of that virus in your blood. Perhaps your immunity could lead to a vaccine. It would save us a lot of time." She explains slowly to Noland. If their immunity could be used as a vaccine that would be a huge breakthrough and perhaps it could change opinion of Noland and Kendrick in front of many since no bloodthirsty alien would willingly do such thing as helping humans.
That cure could certainly save lots of lives that were threatened by Gundalians who were not like Noland and Kendrick. That one problem would be permanently removed from the face of the Earth.

Noland shook his head at the thought of a vaccine being created to help the rest of the humans cope with what many have been bringing onto themselves. It looked heartless on his part for his refusal to participate in that procedure, but who could blame him after what happened?
"If it's to save people in here and for your organization, then sure. As for everyone else, they can rot," he asserted. "Our blood can't cure racism and stupidity. I'm not wasting it on them. The death of their mob mentality may change my mind, but for now, I'm going to watch them suffer and hear them beg for me to save them again."
With that said, he followed behind Lydia while she was walking to the quarantine zone. It was convenient for him since he didn't know where it was. What wasn't convenient was that Alana was following them. At least Alex was tagging along as well since he had nothing better to do in there.
Noland was looking around more than he was looking forward, partly because he was amazed at how well-maintained the place looked. It looked like a high-tech fortress of some sort, and that was just for the medical wing. All of that looking around made him see someone very familiar around the central hallway they were walking in. He stopped in his tracks, causing Lydia to stop as well.
"Long time, no see...huh?"

DARKNESS IS LURKING IN EVERY CORNER. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN.
Mysterious person appeared before Lydia and Noland who were on their way towards the quarantine zone. Person was a young man whose signature appearance, burning crimson eyes, pale skin and black clothing, were not too hard to spot from the distance. It was none other than Daniel Andersen; former terrorist, or at least what many outsiders believed, and a member of Grim Reapers, division of Silver Knights that specializes in assassinations.
"Indeed a long time..." Daniel replies quietly to Noland and examines him slowly. Noland seems quite exhausted from Daniel's perspective. He had every right to be after what happened. "...You look like hell." He states after seeing how exhausted Noland is.
"Looks like we might be in the same bowl..." He sarcastically adds to what he said earlier. Not that he lied about it. Both of them were seen by public and government in the same way; as danger.
Earlier that day Daniel had a rigorous training with the rest of Grim Reapers. Except for getting control over Deathcrown's power as a buff he had also drastically trained Kuzuha and Wolveride. Wolveride mainly slacks off, but is still not willing to admit that Dante might be stronger and that rivalry is his motivation to train. Kuzuha simply does not have a big reason since she was rejected by her own race for accidentally becoming a Darkus Bakugan; her only reason is to protect her master. And with all that training she is still no match for Wolveride.
Two Bakugan orbs roll over Daniel's right shoulder. One was colored in dark-purple color and was emitting similarly-colored light from purple fox-head-like decorations. Other orb was colored completely in white with golden decorations that emit golden glow. Those were Kuzuha and Wolveride. "How are ya, kid?" Wolveride lightly asks.

"I feel like hell," Noland said, agreeing with Daniel's assessment of his condition. Seeing Daniel in good shape was a solid change. He didn't look as crazy as he did before nor did he show any signs of losing control. This was the Daniel that was always in there somewhere. It was a shame that it never truly showed while they were enemies.
"I guess I'm doing okay aside from the obvious things I've turned into, done, and...heard, but yeah...we understand each other now." That was the first time he'd ever been spoken to by Daniel's guardian. It was unexpected, but not unwelcome.
"I'm guessing you play a certain role for the Knights now? Makoto and Akane didn't come here too, did they?" He was curious about Daniel's involvement here. He was hoping that the actual terrorists Daniel was allied with weren't there. Those were definitely the ones he hoped not to see while walking around in there.

DARKNESS IS LURKING IN EVERY CORNER. KEEP Your eyes open.
"Their division, Grim Reapers, seemed like a good choice." Daniel says referring to that division he has been part of for a month or two. As already mentioned, Grim Reapers are mainly assassins, but they are up to any task that is done away from the eyes of the government...or anyone for that matter. His only tasks so far were silent eliminations of terrorists' facilities that were supposedly related to the Dark Hole Phenomenon.
Daniel did not like to hear about Makoto and Akane. "No. Silver Knights don't hire actual terrorists, don't worry." He explains. Letting Makoto and Akane join Silver Knights would be something beyond crazy. All they could get from Silver Knights is a foot in the ass and Daniel still thinks it would be amusing to kick their asses if they escape their actual prison.
"I should thank you." Daniel begins again. "If you hadn't defeated that lunatic who controlled me then I would not be here today...many more wouldn't be alive." He says referring to Virus, being with AI that threatened the entire planet with its monstrous powers stolen from Deathcrown. "I would like to return the favor... To you and to all Resistors. For saving my and many other lives from that menace."
"Being a monster does not seem so bad anymore."
