It’s the fall of 2022, and we’re at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Long after the Second Wizarding War and the death of Voldemort, the school has seen peaceful times throughout thirty years, give or take a few. While there are some things that are being taken care of throughout the wizarding world (the banishment of whatever Death Eaters are supposedly still in hiding), things have been pretty calm elsewhere.
The Muggle eye has never been able to see Hogwarts. The partnership between the Ministry of Magic and the Muggle government, however, has allowed some leniency regarding underage magic outside of the school in recent years. This is thanks to one of Hermione Granger’s smaller concepts, a few years after taking over as Minister of Magic: Students from Hogwarts are now allowed to perform little spells during the summers, as long as they’re with a parent or legal guardian. That’s not a problem.
Where the problem began was when students were heading through the bricks to get to the Hogwarts Express before the 2021-22 school year. Muggles never seemed to raise a big fuss in years past, as they were seeing kids with pushcarts full of supplies and owls running towards an inanimate object. And if anyone spotted Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley in the air with the Weasley family Ford back in their Second Year all those years ago, did anyone pitch a fit then?
Some of these concerns have been panicking the wizarding community, considering that there had been peace between both Muggles and wizards alike for centuries. Now that eyebrows are finally being raised and questions around small communities with known Hogwarts students are coming up every day, will there be too much tension to keep both worlds at peace?
You Muggles are gaining a second wind over something that's so pointless, really.
