If Dasia believed that putting Tec in the firing path was going to be enough to stop it from damaging the mechanical Bakugan, then she must have been grossly underestimating Jamal. That's one mistake she'll never make again once Jamal's plan is put into action.
"Not so fast. Ability activate! Weighted Stronghold!" The defensive parameters on Tec's body armor were unaffected by this ability. What this did to was affect his actual body's defense. No one could tell what this did, except for Tec. For simplicity's sake, his body was now durable enough to survive a hit from Gorem in his advanced state, which is precisely what it did during their matchup.
"Brace for impact, your 'highness,'" Tec sarcastically warned her in advance. Someone was getting hit whether she liked it or not.
"Ability activate! Primo Aegis!" The fist that the Fifth Paladin repelled regained its sense of duty. It pointed towards the ground and propelled itself downwards. It produced a rocking quake from the impact when hit the surface, stunning all of the enemies instantly.
This allowed Tec's other fist to strike without the mechanical Bakugan having any defense against it. It hit Tec first, making the Odin Shield dissipate on contact. When Tec was smacked to the surface, the ground all around them erupted, sending big piles of rocks and dirt everywhere. Seeing through it was practically impossible.

Dasia was able to keep her feet firmly planted on the soil, despite Tec shaking things up. It was unknown if the same could be said for the mechanical Bakugan, at least to everyone else. Due to her Hurranian mastery, she already knows what happened to them. The message was sent to her as soon as the hit occurred. She'll allow Jamal to think that she doesn't know...for now.
"You got them..." Dasia depressingly revealed; although, her smile leaves the accuracy of that statement up in the air. "Ability activate! Chaotic Siege!"
The Fifth Paladin hoisted their lances up. The tips became drenched in purple flames, which soon extended to the entirety of the weapon and onto the Paladin themselves. They united their lances to project a unified lance that looked like it was capable of busting down the entrance to a fortress. Ironically, that was about to happen to Jamal right now.

Jamal could hear Dasia, but he couldn't see her. He couldn't confirm the truth of the situation based on her voice, but he wasn't stupid. The best way to handle the Hurranians is to never assume anything.
"I'll be the judge of that," Jamal corrected. "Ability activate! Seismic Trigger!" This was what Tec meant by sinking them. With this ability, he could do just that and then some.
Tec's fists did not quite return to his body just yet. The one that punched the Paladin earlier hovered right in front of the approaching knights. It raised a thick wall of dirt that covered up to their waistline. This was done to slow them down by making them feel heavy.
Tec then jumped into the air using rocket propulsion. His left fist was attached to his body after it punched him. He didn't have any noticeable bruises on his body from taking the hit, possibly as a result of his earlier defensive enhancements.
"Miss me?" Tec's left hand made a large sinkhole appear on the battlefield. The Paladin and the mechanical Bakugan were all swallowed. The airborne fist started closing the sinkhole with all of them in it so they could be crushed without any way out.

Xavier held out on making his worries evident, but it turns out that Jamal could still hang. The only problem now was figuring out if what he did was enough to beat Dasia for good.
"Phenomenal job, Jamal," Xavier congratulated. "You've done us a great service. Now I just need you to do one more thing."
Instinctively, Jamal should already know this, but there was something telling Xavier that this was far from over. He made the mistake of thinking he had beaten Dasia earlier, but he realized later that he was had all along. It wouldn't be beneath him to think that the same wouldn't occur here.
"Finish what you've started..." he said, knowing that some form of trap was about to be sprung.

Dasia was humming after the mechanical Bakugan and the Fifth Paladin were supposedly buried. She was playing with her BakuScanner rather than worrying about what just occurred.
"Okay...so they've all leveled up..." she mumbled about her forces as if this were some kind of RPG. "I have just enough mental energy to tolerate one more summoning for right now. Which one should I choose...?"
The large mechanical beast that Dasia skipped over in favor of the Fifth Paladin last time appeared on the screen once again. She was considering bringing it out this time, and there wasn't going to be any doubt.
"I should really thank Kyuki for this, despite me stealing from him. I have acquired battle data from a certain Silver Knight. His name is...Alex, I believe? That Valiant Strive mode is very interesting, even though I like the Switch Code better for obvious reasons." She pressed on the outline of the model so it could materialize on the field. "X, your clinically-deceased colleague named this the Assail System. I haven't really decided if I should keep that name, so we'll just go with it for now. I'll have a better name later. Enjoy."
A large, mechanical dragonoid suit was outlined on the field. It was only a matter of time before it presented itself in the physical world.

Tec's right fist was returned to his body as he slowly descended back to the ground. He was just as eager to figure out what was about to come their way just as Dasia was to use the freaking thing. He was looking up in astonishment as this "Assail System" was huge, dwarfing him in size.
"Um...Jamal...are we in trouble?" Tec asked with a concerned tone in his voice. The digital outline of the creation was something to be wary of. It looked like it was going to pack a serious punch.
"You tell me," Jamal responded, as Tec was the Bakugan here. "Let's at least wait to see. It could be as overrated as Dasia's threat level, or we're about to get bodied. Either way, stand your ground. We're not done yet."

As if there wasn't anything else in the area that made him feel like a nuisance to Jamal, there's another Hurranian creation on the horizon. What don't they have?
"Jamal...the Valiant Strive Dasia is speaking of was in the possession of the one Damian got into a fight with on Earth," Xavier reminded him. "I don't know about this mode too much, but act as if it's in league with the Third Layer's destructive power, just to be safe. The power level I'm feeling from this is getting really dense."
Xavier measured the incoming creation with his eyes. Tec was not even taller than this mechanical's feet. That became more apparent when they creation became physically view-able. His eyes became wide at what he was looking at.
"You used him to salvage parts from Farbros' creation much earlier..." Xavier realized. This "Assail System" had looks similar to Farbros, and now to Diablo as an extension.

"Mhm. Yes, I did," Dasia acknowledged. "I had it all laid out when MAC Spider was first created. You knew of this process in a way, but I had your colleague infected at the time, and he took away any memory you had of it. How shameful. You never even realized that much of what I've planned has already been made ahead of schedule. I'm not very big on procrastination."
The Assail System projected rays of blinding red lights towards the ground. Outlines of the buried Fifth Paladin were seen. They shined brightly before disappearing to an unknown location. Diablo, Boriates, and Dryoid were seen shortly after. They disappeared. They were then seen on the surface. Diablo was in the seat of the Assail System. Its skin was radiating with energy, hinting that its frame was repaired by a certain function. Boriates and Dryoid were under this same benefit. FARBAS was likely to be the culprit of their survival.
"It seems having Noland's abilities worked out nicely after all, Jamal. He can outlive anything you try to do in real life. My creation will be no different," Dasia said, confirming that FARBAS was used. Now in control of the Assail System, Diablo pointed the massive barrels on its back at the entire party.
"Ability activate! Meteor Driver!" Lethal trails of energy were shot out of these barrels in an attempt to blitz right through Jamal's defenses. Even though the blasts were not close to the ground upon its initial release, pieces of the ground were torn up just from the pressure of it all.

No matter what Jamal did, he could not have stopped this from happening, at least not on his own. No one could have done it. Combating them is a process, and it wasn't complete yet. This new enemy should be the last of what Dasia can offer in her defense. If this Assail System falls, this fight should be over, and they can destroy Dasia, because she will not have the resources to avoid it.
That was the key issue here. Could Jamal beat this machine and save the universe?
"There it is," Tec announced.
"An all new challenge? Let's go." Jamal got a bronze-covered ability ready. Anyone should know what this is going to be. "Ability activate! G-Factor!"
Tec's bracelets cycled as he held his hands out. He produced a gravitational force capable of containing the weight of these blasts. Minor energy leakage occurred during this halt, so sizzling energy was seen dropping off from these blasts.
"Catch!" Tec repulsed the blasts back towards the mechanical party and Dasia.

"Sure!" Dasia excitedly answered. Dryoid would be more than happy to honor that request for her. "Ability activate! Gaian Reflector!"
Dryoid joined both of its pistols together to form a larger one. It then jumped on the right arm of the Assail System, spun the conjoint pistol between the palms of its hands, and used its thruster pack to provide the push necessary to contain the repelled blasts. Diablo swung it around so it could capture all of the energy.
"I can play this game with you all day. Your gravity manipulation will not work against me." Diablo poised itself to stomp right on top of Tec to score an instant victory.

For a large build, the Assail System was quite fast. It didn't help that Diablo didn't need to lift its foot off of the ground that much to get it over Tec's head. He needed to be fast.
"Oh boy..." Tec used the powers of G-Factor to lessen the push against him by Vestal's gravity. This made him extraordinarily powerful against the Assail System. Despite being stomped on, Tec was able to hold the foot over his head. He didn't even have to get into a squat to hold it up. "Tell you what... Give me an hour, and I'll regret skipping leg day for sure."
"Tec, this is a setup. You realize that the moment you flip this thing over..."
"I'm getting shot," Tec instantly realized. "Great..."
Throwing the Assail System may send the G-Factor into cooldown. He had already stopped very powerful blasts from striking him. He may have to rely on his natural defense to hold up against what Dryoid has in store for him. He tossed the Assail System over so that it would crash into the ground.

The moment the Assail System toppled, Dryoid leaped towards Tec and was prepared to unleash its contained blasts - all of which were at three times their original power - at him. Getting hit by this attack was not advisable, even for someone of Tec's build. Someone had to stop Dryoid from doing that. That someone zipped past Dryoid from its back.
"Nope!" Helios denied. He lashed at Dryoid's thruster pack with his tail. This led to Dryoid being unable to support the weight of the containment, causing it to drop out of the sky like a swatted fly and be consumed by the blasts that it attempted to use against someone else.
"It's about time, Jamal. THIS is the kind of fight that I was waiting for," Damian expressed. He and Ebony were dropped off next to Jamal so Helios could have his back free. It would be hurting enough once he has to carry Tec through a battle he couldn't win on his own.
"I should have let that hit you, just to see how much it would take to get you to drop," Helios remarked to Tec. He wasn't really going to allow that to happen, despite what he just said.
"So you weren't lying when you said you took on hundreds of Hurranians all at once after all," Damian realized. "I wonder if any of them were as big as these guys over here. We wouldn't want you to seem like you're overrated."
"What he means to say is that he's here to help," Ebony interrupted.
"That too, but I mean it when I say that I'm proud of what you've done here. Now...I believe I owe her my presence."

When Dryoid collapsed on the ground from what Damian just pulled, it was evident that things were starting to look good for the Spartans. Dryoid was blown apart by that stunt. On the flip side to that, Xavier realized the extent to which any of the Spartans could be damaged if they are hit by the Assail System's firepower, which could be well beyond planetary-level destructiveness.
The only saving grace for this situation was that the Spartans had a fighting chance.
"I never thought this would be coming out of my mouth, but...I am so glad that you're here, Damian," Xavier surrendered. "I also never thought I would ask this of you either... Kill my sister for me. Please."

"You actually came...?" This is what Jamal muttered when he initially saw Helios enter the fray. Turns out Damian wasn't as self-centered as he was depicted to be. Then again, it could just be Dasia that he wants to kill, so he chose to help based on that factor alone. The latter statement kinda ruined the moment. Maybe it's better to just give Damian the benefit of the doubt, and that's exactly what Jamal was going to do until he was given a reason to believe otherwise.
"We can worry about that once that machine is taken offline," Tec replied, ignoring Helios'challenging claims. "Perhaps you could take the hits for me and tell me how they feel so I can plan ahead, that's if you can handle it."
"Talk trash all you want, Damian. You've earned that much for coming," Jamal openly accepted. "Thank you so much..."
"Ebony, I'm counting on you to keep these guys in check. You're the voice of reason among them, so our survival rests on your shoulders," Tec assured Ebony.

Diablo returned to its feet slowly, possibly due to the Assail System's massive size. It hissed at its opponents. It was not happy to see Helios here at all. That was just the icing on the cake for what Dasia was feeling when she saw him. She was livid. His presence here disgusted her.
"I just had Dryoid rebuilt..." Dasia grunted. "I suppose this means my loyal 'subject' has joined forces with you. It's not like Deon to let people just walk away, unless it's a poor girl named Seiki. What an annoying little bitch he is."
Dasia sighed, as it couldn't helped. She can finally put Damian to rest now for his shenanigans throughout the entire tenure of his Spartan leadership. Plus, even the Silver Knights would want to thank her for doing it.
"How about we do a roll call so I can accommodate your destruction. Are there any more of you that will just show up out of nowhere just for the sake of convenience?"
