Helios was cackling about what they just saw. The anticipation was killing him, but now, he can finally exercise his power in the way that he wants to without someone ordering him to do it. He was in the process of turning around to address this Gundalian problem.
"YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" Helios shouted in excitement. Since he was in the Second Layer, his roar was terrifying. With that alone, he unleashed a pressure wave strong enough to stun every single Bakugan around him, including Tec. The effect on him was significantly decreased due to his sturdy frame.
"Dasia probably sent him out just to distract me. Too bad it worked," Damian conceded. He pointed directly at Barodius when Helios turned around to face Dharak. "I'll save whatever weakling they come across the trouble of being killed by this disgusting coward. I'll kill him myself."
Helios jetted straight for Dharak. Damian has quite the past, but nowhere does he tolerate what this man did, even if it was against Earth. None of his shenanigans would have worked if Damian was there when that 9/11 crap happened. It was a shame he wasn't.

Jamal waved behind him as Damian went to annihilate Barodius. While that happens, Jamal can assess the situation. Due to his brawling style, there was barely anything that could phase him. The only problem would be Dasia or Kyuki, but none of them were around at the moment.
"What are we going to do while they have their fun?" Tec eagerly asked.
"Thinking..." Jamal paused. As he did that, he started getting blasted by the giant Dharaknoid that were scurrying throughout Washington. Pretty soon, the Misfortune 13 combat forms would come over there to be annoying. That's probably why they were even there in the first place. They'd annoy the crap out of you until the real threat goes off.
This made sense in Jamal's head, as he would soon express.
"You don't think Dasia's sending out her best, do you?" Jamal pondered.
"Probably not. There's too many brawlers here that can match her forces, not even counting the Legendary Soldiers. It's probably a diversionary tactic to stall us for as long as possible until the BT System goes off. I'd do the same if I was up against all of us." Hearing Tec say this made Jamal a lot more keen on what he should do. He wasn't going to follow Damian's lead, but something a lot more...dangerous.
"Tec, over there!" Jamal pointed to powerful energy signatures going off in the distance. He could clearly see their power being put on display, with auras rising into the sky and attacks clashing to the beat of the quakes this overwhelming power was sending out. That's where his services were needed.
"Joke's on Helios. I got the better deal," Tec remarked. "Let's wreck this place."
Tec mostly ignored the incoming fire and went straight to that battle zone. Something was telling him that things were about to get very ugly. What better scenario can one ask for in a battle to save the entire universe?
Probably for Dasia to die. That'd be nice.

Tracy was understandably shaken by the idea of Nero being around. She reacted like any normal person would when they were faced with such a disturbing foe. She had to ask.
"Is he...on our side?" Tracy asked.
"He's not on her side. That's good enough for me right now," Oberus responded. "I understand there might be some...animosity towards him, but if there's two enemies going against each other, make sure the lesser one wins. "
"What about making sure they both lose?" Tracy rationally countered.
"Worry about that when there's not a doomsday weapon ready to wipe us out!" Oberus unintentionally screeched.
She'd screech about what's coming next in a moment...
An unholy amount of headwind was generated along their flight path. This made it difficult for any fliers to remain in the sky, as they were constantly fighting against the wind in order to move forward. This was more evident on Skystar. Since she was not as flight savy as Oberus, her mobility was drastically shortened.
"What...is...that!?" Skystar struggled, swaying in the air as she tried to keep up with Oberus, but to no avail.
"Your planet's weather is destabilizing due to the BT System's power," Oberus explained. "Can you still make it?" This was a good question. Oberus was flying through as if the headwind didn't affect her. She'd try to help Skystar in any way she can.
"Maybe..." Skystar theorized. Her familiar exited her body. It quickly transformed into an Ahio. The being then reentered Skystar, and colored her wings in a sparkly zephyr color. This came with the passive ability of being able to travel through hazardous wind environments. The one they were in now was a perfect example of such environments.
"Oh?" Oberus was definitely impressed by this.
"Nothing to worry about. We're still here," Tracy confidently confirmed.

Someone might not have been too happy to see Oberus in the sky. This assumption was made, because a bugging noise was heard not too far from where Oberus and Skystar were flying.
"...Uh oh..." Oberus grieved. "It's that 'thing' again..."
"Thing!? What thing!?" Tracy shrieked. It turns out that the 'thing' Oberus was talking about was a giant, green insect. Tracy has never got along well with bugs, but that was far from the issue. Its size dwarfed both Oberus and Skystar. Its screech was almost as disgusting as the slimy-green coloring on its skin.
"Why...oh why...?" Skystar groaned. Of all people to get thrown into this mess, why did it have to be Tracy and not Seiki? "It makes Hydranoids look good."
"Exactly!" Oberus agreed.
Without warning, Lucanus charged towards the ladies. It wished to collide its giant body with their small bodies, and at an impressive speed. Bone Breaker was an ideal name for this kind of technique. Oberus did not have to use an ability to dodge this. She turned her body so she could face Skystar. She flapped her wings once to send a gust of wind that bounced off of Skystar, letting her blow herself back. At the same time, this force also blew Skystar back. The duo was able to salvage their well-being for a while longer.
"We don't have time for this!" Oberus complained. "Skystar, watch your feathers. They might want you dead more than me right now, because you're a healer. May I suggest you kite it to conserve energy?"
"Okay..." Tracy got her nerves together before Lucanus turned around to confront them again. "Ability activate! Rage Mana!" This technique was devised by Tracy in secret. She was planning to show it off when she applied for Eden, but this situation will have to do.
First, the familiar converted itself into a copy of Allen's Gorem. Then, the magic happens. Skystar can convert her familiar into power for her to use. While this generally means that she's stuck with that Bakugan's power for the duration of this technique, it did open up a variety of abilities for Skystar to use that goes beyond what she could do with the power levels split.
Her armor began to resemble Gorem's as well. She was now able to withstand the headwind without any issues, as her ability treated her condition as if she was within Gorem's league. This meant that her body was considered trained against this opposing force. That was the basic premise of this technique: gift her with the bodily characteristics of her allies.
"Let's give it our best shot, Sky!" Tracy pumped up.

Lucanus' speed increased to threatening levels via the Storming Scissor ability. Using its wings, he would be able to dash back and forth through Skystar and Oberus, slicing and dicing as it saw fit.
"Ability activate! Glory Wand!" A rather vicious attack for a healer, this ability converts the scepter into a mace. She turned around to meet Lucanus. Each time Lucanus came to attack, Skystar would clash against its claws with this mace. Doing so repelled both of them; however, due to Lucanus' large size, Skystar was repelled a bit farther. This was the plan, as Skystar got farther ahead to her destination as she did this.
To make matters worse for this insect, for each time Skystar strikes someone with this ability, her combat and healing prowess receives a significant boost.
"Nice!" Oberus encouraged.
Things were looking good until Lucanus activated a fusion, Metal Edge Storm. This enhanced its already sharp claws to a level where even diamond would get sliced into tiny bits.
Tracy saw this change in appearance, so she decided to buy time until she figured out what to do about that.
"Ability activate! Terra Barrier!" A powerful, blue-colored barrier was erected around herself and Oberus. This provided a nice defense against Lucanus, but it wouldn't last for long. Oberus was content with this, as anyone who was inside the barrier would have their abilities executed much faster. Fast was a nice word for Oberus.
"Yeah...I can get used to this," Oberus celebrated. She took one glance at the ground before using an ability. She was going for something very important here.
"Scarlet Twister!" Oberus blew a puff of air that quickly materialized into a fierce twister. The atmospheric destabilization from the BT System made this twister even more frightening in power and in speed. It went after Lucanus directly. It was engulfed and was speedily pulled towards the ground.

It was an easy day, or at least it was suppose to be. Of course something bad had to happen again while her and Ahio were out, going to to get food seeing how the fridge was close to being fresh out of consumable food items. They were walking and not flying, though Seiki low key regrets not flying at this point.
They were surrounded and nearly ambushed by a swarm of gundalians it appears to be? They looked rather zombiefied though. The area went rather dark, fitting for this mood, groans and cries could be heard from both the lands and the skies, both of sorrow, and the drive to fight. This certainly did feel like some sort of war zone, why did it have to be while the duo were just trying to get food to feel their bellies for the next few days?
"What?! Another zombie apocalypse!?" The bird screeches, growing in size and swiping her tail across to get rid of the oncoming swarm. Hm... this scene certainly looks familiar. Though, it was different than last time, more favorable in a way. If it wasn't for Ahio's quick thinking, then the two of them would have been in some deep trouble. "Two in one lifespan is too many, too many!!" Cries the bird to to one one in particular. Though, there is one person she spoke to loud and clear.
Seiki rolls her eyes and nudges Ahio to direct her to swipe in another direction to keep these anomalies from getting too close. From all of her partner's rambles of ships and what-not, this one Seiki had to full heartedly agree with. Another invasion, even if it is from a different species and all, it is still too much. She would have so many stories to tell her children then- wait. No. Stop. Ahio is rubbing off on her too much. "Stupid thoughts," Seiki grumbles as she nudges Ahio again, which the bakugan responds with smashing the next oncoming wave.
These things were easy enough to deal with, though there was a sudden turn of events. It seems like some sort of figure came falling out of the sky, one that the two weren;t able to sense due to fighting off these swarms, and the impact of whatever it is was enough to send Ahio and Seiki right up into the air. Seiki was fast enough to mount Ahio who then used this burst of force to simply go with the flow of the wind and go upwards. They were expecting something to happen, maybe they could just hide up here in the clouds if they were lucky. Of course, there was stuff in the sky here too. What they weren't expecting was the additional presence of some familiar faces.
"Hi there! Fancy meeting you here on zombie apocalypse take two!" Ahio chirps, rather all too cheerfully for a situation such as this one. Optimism does help in times such as these, so Seiki didn't say anything too much, and only nods her head as her way of saying hello.

"You're very welcome, Ahio," Oberus responded without Ahio giving her the due gratitude. Gratitude for what, she might ask? Lucanus might not be so thankful for this one...
Very shortly after Lucanus hit the ground, dozens of shots rang from all sides of it. It was not known who was responsible for making these shots, but they were significant in scope and in power. They hit Lucanus all at once, causing a huge explosion that completely rocked Washington. Oberus didn't know who would want to brutalize Seiki and Ahio that badly, but for now, that danger has been averted.
"Brilliant strategy," Skystar praised.
"Oh, it wasn't that special. Frosch does that sort of thing a lot better than us," Oberus laughed off in a humbled way. "You did most of the work holding it off. Now we get to move on...scratch that. No we can't."
"Wait, what?" Tracy was shocked to hear Oberus go back on her statement. Lucanus wasn't done yet...
This annoying bug came back into the sky very slowly. It had been damaged considerably, but this pain had to be mitigated by some form of protective shell covering it. This was the ability called Hard Scale. Through some form of mutation, Lucanus was able to harden its shell. This was likely, as it looked dented all around it from the attacks it took. It was very clear from the look on its face that it was highly pissed from what Oberus just did to it.
"Someone's not too happy," Oberus teased. This provoked Lucanus to lunge at Skystar, knowing that it had no chance of winning unless she was torn apart. Oberus countered this attack without having to use an ability. She quickly moved in between Lucanus and Skytar and flapped her wings once to produce a wind that traveled upwards. This did not damage Lucanus, but it did stun it, forcing it go come up and stop its approach.
"Wind Down!" Oberus opened her mouth to breath a green, fiery substance on Lucanus. It covered Lucanus almost instantly. Exposure to this energy drastically decreased its reaction time and overall mobility. Breaking down its hardened body was the least of its troubles when Lucanus was now too slow to ever dream about hitting any of the ladies with its murderous attack. Oberus then latched onto Lucanus with her claws.
"Ahio, would you like to do the honors and get this disgusting creation out of here?" Oberus offered. With her claws digging into Lucanus' compound eyes, it would be hard-pressed to know that its end is near.

Ahio keeps her flying steady as she watches this thing be handled swiftly by the legendary soldier of wind. "Ew, could you even call that thing a creation?" Ahio huffs as her flapping grows stronger, allowing her to gain some height. This was for that oncoming attack that Ahio was about to unleash, hopefully it would end this thing's existence. If Oberus was making sure that this thing felt pain, then it must be some sort of nuisance. A really big and annoying one too. "Alright, ready whenever you are." The bird-dragon chirps once she got high enough.
The girl on her back huffs softy and nods in agreement. "We took a sip of a poisoned cup, might as well down everything at this point. Ability activate, Serbasa!" Ahio's scales and feathers were enhanced with some sort of spell or hex as she spreads her wings and makes a dive down towards Lucanus who was being held by Oberus, making him a much easier target to hit. Sure Ahio could hit thing thing while it was flying around, but it would be a tad bit harder, and may not deal as much damage. But this should land the killing blow, considering how weakened this thing is an the amount of energy Ahio has going in her as she smashes into the thing, a loud crack and snap could be heard upon contact- But did it really do the trick?

Tracy winced when Ahio dealt the critical blow. The sound of Lucanus being terminated was disgusting. Which one was nastier? Oberus clawing its compound eyes, or Ahio effectively smushing...whatever was on that despicable sight?
Tracy really hates bugs...
With Lucanus being sent back towards the ground in a diagonal line, she won't have to worry about it anymore...hopefully, as long as it doesn't want to come back again.
"Solid skills, you two. Quick and easy, right?" Oberus commented on how little time they wasted dealing with this bug. "Just in time..."
The party was nearing the location where Dasia and the BT System were stationed. They were hovering about two-hundred meters away from where powerful forces were rippling through the air. It was almost unsettling, even for someone as powerful as Oberus.
"Here's where things will get...a lot more dangerous," Oberus warned them beforehand. "Skystar, get down to the ground and STAY AWAY from Diablo and Hades." This was the most important thing Oberus could've said to Skystar, and it was a definite order. They couldn't afford for anything to happen to her as she was the only healer around that area.
"Ahio, it's you and I against the world." Seiki might be shocked to hear that Oberus was teaming up with her. It shouldn't be a surprise though...
"So...am I supposed to heal Nero, or..." Tracy confusingly asked.
"Whatever it is that you healers do to not attract attention," Oberus cut short. She swiftly got above Skystar and blew her straight to the ground. It wasn't a violent push by any stretch of the imagination. It was very light, and would ensure that Skystar lands light enough on the ground so that they don't make too much noise.
Skystar gently landed on the ruined streets of D.C. By the time she looked back up, she could not see Oberus or Ahio. The skies were getting so dark that aerial targets were practically going unseen. Whatever Oberus has planned, Tracy hopes that Seiki will literally live up to the expectation.
Then it started to snow... How odd. Tracy had this dirty thought that the whiteness of these particles will become red very soon, perhaps due to all the bloodshed that has already gone on in the nation's capital.
Tracy didn't have to say a word. She gulped as she prepared to see Nero with her own eyes. Whatever she did from here was by her own decision, so her plan was...to survive, regardless of whether a hero or a villain has to win for that to happen.

While battle to stop the BT System is happening a few kilometers away doctor is having his own battle against the Admiral of Silver Knights, Maria Zenovia. Her Zero Hydranoid has already gone through Misfortune 13 transformation to end the job as quickly as possible- she has already eliminated three prototypes fighting on doctor’s side. Each one of them got a cold icicle filled with mass of darkness lodged inside their skulls. Those things were test product anyway, so it is not that big of a loss for the doctor. However, he needs some method to defeat the Admiral whether it is a strong monster that can actually defeat her or thousands of weak ones that will gradually weaken her to a point where she is weak. Does not seem to be working so far, so doctor plans to introduce a new strategy into the system. Main plan is to take control of the Admiral once she is beaten, but it does not seem like a situation that can be easily achieved. In ideal scenario he could deceive two scouts from Advent and then infiltrate Advent using mind-controlled Admiral and steal as much data as possible and use it to create unbeatable weaponry. In scenario where he losses it is obvious- Admiral will kill him with no hesitation or remorse.
“Only 43 seconds- impressive.” Doctor says referring to the time it took Admiral to beat three prototypes.
He then snaps his fingers and a blue portal forms before him. Two figures emerge from the portal- they both wear Chrono Elite uniform and red masks on their faces. Powerful forces can be felt coming from their hands- must be their Bakugans. They toss the orbs onto the field. Orbs flash and reveal two Bakugans- Harusue and Akimi. Admiral’s eyes widen at the sight. Not surprising- she should know these two Bakugans very well. “Let me introduce you- Emperor and Empress of Advent- Mars and Caia.” Doctor says and two people take their masks off. Admiral instantly recognizes people who she once could consider her parents and rightful rulers of Advent. Years ago slaughtered by maniacal terrorists and now turned into doctor’s servants. If this will not cause her blood boil then nothing will.
“Hello, dear.” Woman greets her daughter.
“You look like you've seen a ghost.” Man says.
Along them stand their two partners. Harusue is a Pyrus champion on Advent- also known as ‘Ruler of the Battlefield’. Akimi is an Aquos champion known as ‘Merciful Fairy’. Two used to be strongest Bakugans on Advent back in the day- times have changed, but doctor has enhanced them to be even stronger and way more dangerous than they used to be. “Look, it’s the little Hydra.” Harusue notices with a mocking laugh. “Poor thing- these Hydranoids do not know their place. Let’s give her a good time.” Akimi says. Harusue prepares his giant shield and lance and Akimi releases her three Aquos lanterns to boost and heal Harusue as he proceeds to destroy Zero Hydranoid- just as he did countless times back on Advent. Except, this time he will destroy her for real and for good.
“Here I come! Rage Infusion! Annihilating Crash!” Harusue exclaims and rushes towards Hydra with his enhanced shield that will do severe damage on impact.
“Fairy Blessing!” Akimi says and claps releasing multiple blue streams of energy that surround Harusue enhancing the damage inflicted by all his attacks.

“Maria…” Hydra says silently as she sees two Bakugans incoming.
“Forbidden Ability activate…” Maria declares with a snow-white card in her hand. “…Forgotten.”
The second Maria calls out for this vicious ability Hydra’s body begins to quickly and aggressively release snow-white mist that shrouds the battlefield. This type of strategy is unique among ice Hydranoids- mist that manipulates time and space from the beginning until the end of time- whatever happens in the mist stays in the mist. If one is to die inside the mist their name and existence would forever be forgotten by everyone and everything. Only those who witnessed their death inside the mist and those who cast it would remember, but everyone else would forget. Not only that they would forget their name and existence, but any deed deceased person did- including all the pain they caused to the world. Not knowing why Maria activates this against Harusue and Akimi she questions Maria’s intentions. “But why now?” Maria readies another card in her hand- this time it is a pitch-black card; also a forbidden class. “If they cease to exist- if HE ceases to exist… Sylvia will lose all those painful memories inflicted upon her.” Maria replies.
“Forbidden Ability, activate! Doom Curse!” Maria declares.
For strategic purpose Hydra allow Harusue’s attack to make contact. She is hit by a giant and enhanced shield that pushes her back a few meters. However, that was a trap. One of her heads quickly maneuvers around Harusue and chomps on his shoulder with its long fangs. After a few seconds of causing pain to the knight she lets go and then sends him flying with her tail. Before he could counter-attack another head goes for Akimi and chomps on her shoulder as well and then sends her flying with the tail. Two Bakugans are not that heavily damaged and they stand up seconds after being knocked down. Seeing how overconfident they are about overcoming the Doom Curse, Maria gives them a wicked smile full of murderous intent.

“Oh my, Hydra suddenly got brave. After all these years I have to commend.” Akimi confidently says.
Harusue picks himself up from the floor and stands once more, ready to attack. He definitely did more damage to Zero Hydranoid than she did to him. With a few more supports from Akimi this battle should be over in a few minutes. Everything like the old times- two of them throwing Hydra a bone and then devastating her with unbreakable defense and unstoppable attacks. This will be no different- nothing will change. Hydranoid is going to be defeated and, this time, once and for all. “Don’t make me laugh, lizard.” Harusue mocks the Hydranoid. “Your kind belongs on a leash- let me give you one.” He insults her and then his lance begins to charge. His shield disappears and is swapped for a longsword. He charges towards Hydra while declaring his abilities.
“Dragon Slayer plus Ravenous Predator!” He shouts
“Mythical Strength plus Lantern of Power!” Akimi adds her power.
Dragon Slayer is an ability for newly summoned sword that replaced Harusue’s shield. Damage it inflicts leaves terrible wounds and if it faces a dragon Bakugan its power triples giving it a definite critical hit every time it is used. Ravenous Predator goes with the lance and it causes heavy damage after what it drains life from the target- no matter if damage is done by the lance itself or with another weapon. Akimi’s Mythical Strength is an ability that instantly reuses all her and allies’ abilities that were used during the battle and adds their power-ups and buffs to one target- Harusune, in this case. Additionally, Lantern of Power multiplies target’s power and makes it gradually increase. With this combo Harusue basically becomes a god on the battlefield with all this strength packed into his attacks. He swiftly strikes Hydra severing one of her heads and then destroys another head with the lance. He proceeds to do quick strikes until Hydra is left with only 3 heads. Before attacking once more he lands.
“Why do I feel so tired…?” He asks himself and notices his body has begun to sweat very quickly and his breathing got quicker. And this was not even supposed to be a warm-up. His body feels heavy for some reason, but then he jumps once more, ready to finish off three remaining heads.

“Heh…” Maria laughs wickedly. “Special Ability, activate! Abyssal Blaster!”
“Here comes the pain!” Hydra shouts.
Blinding blue lights surround Hydra’s body. Her heads instantly regenerated and grew back as if nothing ever happened. She opens all her mouths and blue mass forms inside every mouth. She then violently releases thirteen dark-blue blasts at incoming Harusue pushing him back and eventually melting down his two weapons and sending him flying as his armor begins to melt down and body becomes very heavy and tired. Before Akimi could do anything to buff him again or heal him she should be taken care of as well. “Special Ability, activate! Abyssal Jaw!” The moment Maria declares this a large cyan-colored Hydranoid head emerges from the ground; below Akimi. Head charges upwards and grabs Akimi chewing on her body and causing her unbearable pain. Abyssal Blaster is an ability that accumulates a lot of destructive power through thirteen heads and adds power equal to received damage through the brawl making her attack quite overpowered. Abyssal Jaw copies all damage done by Abyssal Blaster and does it on another Bakugan while also applying ‘paralysis’ ailment.
“Thought I’d stop there? Ability, activate! Tyrant Blaster!” Maria declares.
This time Hydra charges thirteen crimson energy masses in her mouths. She then proceeds to barrage two opposing Bakugans with countless crimson projectiles that explode instantly on impact and drain life from both Bakugans adding it to Hydra and causing multiple status ailments on enemies. Damage done to their bodies is clear and visible- cracks in armor, broken bones and limbs. When it comes to vengeance Maria sure does not waste any time hurting enemies and making them utterly desperate. Doom Curse, forbidden ability, she put on both enemies origins from Doom Dimension and is unique to several Bakugans- it saps away strength from Bakugans by tainting their body and mind; effectiveness of their abilities goes down by a lot and their bodies are sapped of the strength until they are left as empty lifeless shells. Tyrant Blaster does even more damage thanks to this combination.

“Ghh… what is going on?” Harusue asks. He slowly begins to stand up, but his body feels so heavy- as if he could give in to it and fall unconscious at any point. “What have you done to me, lizard…?” He angrily asks, but it becomes difficult to form words at this point. He can even feel the power of all those abilities stacked fade away so quickly- quicker than the time it took him to gain all that power. It becomes ridiculous to believe that in only a few minutes a Bakugan that was a weakling years ago brought him to his knees in only a couple of minutes. “Heal me!” Harusue commands and Akimi stands up.
“Fairy’s Blessing!” Blue light emerges from Akimi’s hands and surrounds Harusue in attempt to heal him, but Akimi is taken over by sudden pain all over her body and stops casting Fairy’s Blessing. Healing she did on Harusue did nothing- that was somehow affected by Hydra’s abilities. It became very ineffective.
“I… I can’t…” Akimi says in fear. “She won’t let me…”
“W-what!? I won’t… I won’t be die… I won’t be beaten by this little filth.” Harusue says.
He stands up once more and summons back his destroyed lance as if it was new. He attempts to charge towards Hydra, but half way there tiredness gets the best of him and he drops the lance and kneels down in pain. “Dragon Blood!” He yells and red energy emerges from the ground surrounding him. This gives him strength to stand up, pick up the lance and charge towards Hydra. “Dragon Impale!” His lance hits Hydra’s center head, but instead of hurting it lance shatters into hundreds of pieces and all strength he gained through Dragon Blood fades in a second. He kneels once more in disbelief that he cannot do anything.
“Fairy’s Blessing!” Akimi attempts to heal once more, but fails again.
“This is… bullshit…” Harusue angrily says. Their sight begins to turn foggy.

Hydra looks down on two helpless opponents. They overestimated themselves when they thought that power of Misfortune 13 was something to compare to one of Freeze Hydranoid she once was. With knowledge to manipulate powers from Doom Dimension she can immediately triumph against opponents with no cure for such vicious power. Once they come in contact with it their body is tainted- dark scar lodges deep into their bodies and eats them from inside. With a little time they will just fade away. Same thing is happening here. Two opponents cannot even control their own powers anymore now that every part of their beings is taken over by vicious power of Doom Dimension. Maria despise Harusue’s will to continue fighting under these conditions.
“You are already dead. You just don’t know it yet.” Maria says to the struggling Bakugan.
Dark wounds inside their bodies begin to spread deeper and it is soon clear that two Bakugans are close to certain death. Their strength does not serve them anymore and their abilities cannot last for over ten seconds. Maria and Hydra have already claimed victory over two former friends and all they need to do is wait for the Doom Curse to eat away anything left of opponents’ power. After trying to ignore it and adapt to Maria’s wishes Hydra changes her plans. “Doom Burst!” She exclaims activating an ability related to Doom Curse. Maria turns towards her partner and gives her a strict gaze.
“What are you doing!?”
“They might be under his control, but they are family… We will find a way to free them later…” Hydra says.
“…” Maria does not say anything. She keeps that serious gaze, but does not stop Hydra.
Doom wounds disappear from victims’ bodies in exchange for a powerful electric shock that goes through their bodies and links with Emperor and Empress. All four are hit by the electric shock and fall unconscious- unable to fight back or resist in any way. This leaves Maria and Hydra with only one opponent in sight- Kyuki. “I hope you know what you’re doing.” Maria says to her partner and then draws a card.
“Ability, activate! Abyssal Artillery!”
Hydra turns all her heads towards Kyuki, who is standing still on his position; surrounded by his defeated defenses. All thirteen heads fire of attribute-charged blasts towards Kyuki aiming for the kill. Blasts cause large explosions on impact rising up the smoke and destroying the surrounding area- until the smoke clears result of attack will remain unclear.
