[Atom]

(Last post before going to bed.)
I smiled. "But you forgot one little thing." The armor reappeared on us. "Rock Shield is a shop card, meaning it's Attributeless. Thus, it's not prevented by Subterra Negator."
Subterra Atom stopped fighting the others. "Thanks for helping me put on that show!" He said.
"How about we use some other abilities." Suggested Ventus Atom. "I've been waiting for so long to attempt some of these." I looked at Leo.
"Think you guys can stay back for a minute? It seems my clones want to try something out."
"Yep, we can do that." Agreed Leo. "We're your backup. Call if you need." The six Leos flew up, away from the battle. I turned back to Ivan, along with the rest of the cones.
Darkus Atom punched his palm. "Oh yeah! Time for some real fun!"
"Just don't get carried away." I said.
"Carried away? Us?" Asked Aquos Atom.
"Never happen!" Added Pyrus Atom. I shook my head.
"Okay guys, get ready!" I placed a few cards into the Gauntlet. "Time for something special. Remember Ivan, this is a no holds barred battle. Sequential Activation!" My Gauntlet glowed purple first. "Shadow!" Darkus Atom glowed.
"Time for my fun!" He dissolved into a shadow, and approached the other Bakugan. He encompassed them all, shrouding them in darkness.
"Twister!" My Gauntlet glowed green.
"I'm up then." A tornado whipped up around the Bakugan, and sealed all of them off except Janthide, who was higher than the others.
"Attribute Merge!" My Gauntlet glowed blue.
"Time for a nice switcharoo!" A blast of water struck Janthide, and changed her Attribute to Subterra.
"Pyrus Zero!" The blue quickly switched to red.
"Finally!" Pyrus Atom burst into flames, and quickly went around Janthide, singing her in a few places, before sending her down to the ground.
"And now, my turn." I said. My Gauntlet glowed yellow. "Haos Switch!" I dove down, and dragged my hand around the Gate Card, causing it to glow. One of the cards in my pocket began to glow as well, and they switched. "This changes the Gate Card to one of mine, and opens it at twice it's usual power. Also, every other ability I've played up until this card, excluding the Reversion Ability, was a shop card. So, yeah. Good luck!" My Gate Card opened, revealing the G-Power Twice card. "The next ability I play would normally be doubled, but instead, it'll be quadrupled! Figure out how to deal with it, quickly."

[Merchant]

"Atom this is for his sake. Serperios forgive me." Grimm pickup from his clip a bakugan with a barrier around it. "Ivan! I personally wont help you. But you can give orders to her. You just got to hope she will listen. With this bakugan try avoiding using your voice. That should help you think. Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rain Down Your Wrath My Elder Dragon Amastu. A Bright green light and blue light does appear. But There is no immediate bakugan. Then it begins to rain. The winds pick up. A storm appears out of nowhere. Lightning flashes. And then a roar. In the flashes of lightning you both can make out a figure. Then she descends. A beautiful dragon with two golden horns. A breath taking yet terrifying sight to behold. Above the sound of the rain Grimm yells. "She is yours for this test. You have the power to command an elder dragon. But be careful. If she finds reason to kill you. She will. After all this is an animal with the intelligence of beings like us. A sort of god if you will. She does not need you voice to act. May that spare you your energy. Go punch Atom. Hold nothing back!"

I gazed upon the dragon with awe. "Whoa!" I uttered. "Thanks Grimm, but I'm not so sure about this!" She charged soaring at the Atom clones. Her swiftness of battle was perfection as she slammed her tail into them. "Double Ability Activate: Counter Blast Plus Hammer Swing-Back!" I shouted. Vladiator charged up a burst of energy and slammed it into Darkus Atom countering his shadow ability. Reginas drew his hammer and cocked back. He swung with a great force smacking the rest of the Atom's away. "They all flopped around everywhere in comedic way. "OH YEAH WHOO-HOO!" "Thanks to this Reginas Gains power up to where it equals to yours!" I boasted. The Atom clones climbed to their feet each battered and bruised. Janthide weakened flew to the ground. Reginas quickly stepped in front to protect her. "Stay back Janthide I will protect you." He exclaimed. "Thanks Janthide." She panted.

[Merchant]

"Grimm be ready. She likes to fire her water laser in wide arcs. Do you think your safe guards can handle that?" Serperios talks to Grimm in the storm.

"Nope not at all. If she hits Atom with that I have to be really really fast. Or he is dead dead. She is strong enough to blast through Atom's shield. Even if he did have a stronger shield it wont matter. A direct blast, and the target being blasted with consecutive water explosion burst will blast through anything." Grimm responds.

"So if Ivan gets the urge to kill too kill for even the slightest moment. . . ." Serperios starts to say. With Grimm finishing. " . . . I may have accidentally killed Atom."

[Atom]

I smiled. "Grimm, does her water laser typically kill Bakugan? I'm guessing not, so don't worry about me. Like I said, while in Reversion, I'm about as tough as an actual Bakugan." We all took into the skies again. "Okay guys, time for another unified assault!" The Leonidases swooped down, ready to go. I raised another ability. "Reversion Ability Activate!" All twelve of us got ready to fire. "Reversion Annihilator!" Twelve blasts of energy were being charged up, two of each attribute. We encircled Ivan's forces, and continued charging.
"This is one of our stronger abilities." Proclaimed Pyrus Atom.
"Its sheer power will leave you in the dust!" Added Darkus Atom.
"And take you down!" Finished Aquos Atom. The attacks finished charging, and we all took aim.
"Better think fast." Said Leo.
"Because your defeat is nigh!" Finished Ventus Leo. We all focused, and changed our aim from my Bakugan to Grimm's Amastu. We fired, creating a blinding light on her.
"This ability is special. You see, it will remove all power from the opponents, and multiply our power by how much was lost." I explained. The light continued shining brightly. "You have about five seconds before Amastu is defeated. Think fast." My clones changed targets, leaving Amastu alone, and took aim at the other Bakugan, hitting the same attribute as their own.
"Tick tock." Added Subterra Leo.

"Got to act fast." I thought in my head reaching for an ability card. "Sorry about this Amatsu but I've got no choice!" "Ability Activate: Rage Flash!"

    I launched the card and Amatsu let out another powerful roar. The soundwaves from her mighty declaration of power collided with the united attack. She began to struggle against it's power. Before long she was struck and a giant cloud of dust filled the sky. The Atom clone and Leonidas floated to the ground with expressions of disappointment. However before they cold see anything an enraged Amatsu struck all twelve opponents with her tail sending a powerful cyclone of wind spiraling into the air. I smiled.

"Thanks to Rage Flash the power of your ability wasn't negated oh no but instead absorbed."

Amatsu turned around and let out another roar this one releasing a current of wind towards me and the five other baugan at my command.

"Ahhhhhh!" I screamed as I was blown away.

Grimm struggled to hold on as he had got hit too.

"You idiot you put the damn dragon in a rampage!" Reginas shouted trying to hold his ground. His heavy body made it much easier to do so compared to others. He caught and balled up his fist not too tight however a she did not want to hurt me. I balled up inside and began to weep.

"What have I done there's no way I can win now." I began to sob louder. "Are you crying?!" Reginas boomed as the winds calmed. I sniffled, "NO!" The other four bakugan settled having recovered and sighed. Amatsu let out another roar. "Grimm call her back now or so help me I will!" Reginas shouted.

[Merchant]

"Reginas I can't stop her. Ivan has control of her. With the goal laid out. This is his test. I can only keep you all alive." Grimm yells over the raging storm.

[Atom]

"Time to shut you down!" I declared. My hand glowed. "I call upon Past Abilities!" Dozens upon dozens of cards began to circle around me. I reached out and grabbed one. "Ability Activate! Doomic Transport!" Twelve Doom Portals appeared behind me, Leo and the clones. We all ducked into them.
"You guys may think this is foolish, but it is in fact very clever." Said Leo, coming out of another Doom Portal.
"Leo originated in the Doom Dimension, so what makes other Bakugan weaker makes him stronger!" I added, coming out of one. We grabbed Amastu, and began to drag her down.
"No matter how much you resist," Said Pyrus Leo.
"Your power will drop!" Finished Pyrus Atom. They came out of their own portals to grab onto Amastu as well.
"She's a dangerous one, so don't mind us if we take her out first." Ventus Leo came out and grabbed on as well. A Portal appeared under her. Darkus Atom and Darkus Leo came out of it.
"Time to drag you under!" They declared. They grabbed on, and pulled her down further. Subterra Atom and Leo came down from above.
"And time for you to fall!" Five more appeared around her, and everybody else grabbed on.
"Get ready, because down you go!" I yelled. We began dragging Amastu down to the Portal that the Darkus ones opened.

It was without warning. A water laser blasts a hole right through the Subterra Leonidas. Sending him back to the original. The resulting water explosion, Destroys the formation setup. Splitting apart the group. A faint glow shows up and disappears around Atom. The portals get shattered by the same water lazer used.

I stood there feelings of confusion and regret on my mind. "Look at me needing help." "I'm not cut out to be a shifter afterall." "Atom's too powerful and without my gene I can't stop him!"

Tristar popped out.
"Dude get a grip you keep complaining about not having any power,but dude your wrong." "You have more power than you can comprehend." "Your going to let some stupid gene hold you back." Tristar preached.
"Look Ivan having power isn't what makes you special." "Can't you see your a fighter by instinct you have the power you just have to learn to draw it out!" Tristar stated. 'Way to state the obvious that's why I need the gene." Tristar shook his body in disagreement. "Are you blind remember when you faced "The Destruction" you managed to pull out some of that power." Tristar continued.

I looked at him wiping tears from my face. The day I faced The Destruction flashed through my mind. Tristar was right. What was I doing? I clenched my fists as determination filled my soul.
"Hey Tristar thanks buddy." I whispered. "HEY GRIMM ENOUGH STAY OUT OF THIS!" I shouted. The other bakugan at my command were shocked at this resolve. Reginas seemed to smile. "So he's finally realized it huh?" Reginas thought.

I looked at Atom as Grimm calmly called back Amatsu before she was pulled away.

"I just realized something this whole time I've been thinking I was powerless when really I'm not." I exclaimed. My body began to glow the bright haos color blinding everybody. I looked at my arm as the cool calm energy washed over it.
"What the- my arm it's mending!" I thought in awe. The light dimmed and I smiled.

"Hey Atom!" "Gene or no gene your going down!" I boasted.

A burst of energy was released pushing back all six Atom's and even grazing the Leonidas forcing them all back a few feet. When the energy calmed there I was in an entire new attire. I was now dressed in samurai-like armor with two katanas withdrawn in sheathes attached to my back. I now had a belt holster containing six shuriken three o each side. My hair seemed to glow. (I have waves so just imagine like blonde waves I guess XD)

Everybody looked in awe.
"His arm it's healed." The original Atom noted.
The bakugan at my command were more than shocked they were amazed.
"Incredible." Slight commented.
"B-but how?" Vladiator asked.
"This boy's power is off the charts." Reginas chimed in.
Pyreon smiled see what did I tell you, but Ivan you're not done yet." Pyreon added, looking at me.
I looked at him and smiled. "I know."
I faced my opponents and pulled a card.
"Alright now the real fight begins get ready because here I come!" Janthide I'm borrowing your storm power!" "Ability Activate: Supercell Storm!"

Janthide began to flutter her wings and zip around in circles conjuring heavy wildy winds that transformed into tornados. I then charged my speed was almost uncontrollable and I pierced the Aquos in the chest with one of my swords. He gasped and turned into a puddle of water. However he was far from defeated he reformed next to his Leonodia panting heavily. The Atom's gasped.
"He's fast!" Pyrus Atom exclaimed.
I looked at him and smiled.
"Don't be so coo I know I haven't seen everything you guys got, but I'll warn you now this battle won't be as easy as it was before."

[Merchant]

"All he needs to do now is get Atom into a state like death." The storm begins to fade. "I wonder how long it will take for him to get a bean attack? Oh the dry cleaner's is going to charge extra." Grimm is talking to himself. Keen eyes will see that he is preparing a cage.

[Atom]

I smiled. "Ivan, you're doing pretty well. Just don't get" A sudden pain from my hand stopped me from going further. I instantly collapsed, landing face first on the ground. "I can't believe I forgot about that." The Subterra Symbol on my hand stopped glowing, and the pain stopped. I slowly got back on my feet. "Don't worry about me. It's a side effect from Attributic Split." I finished getting up. "When one of the clones is defeated, which doesn't happen often, I get a huge burst of pain from my Gene, trying to compensate." I took off into the air again. "So, Ivan, you now know something that most people face, but don't deal with. Their own sense of powerlessness. It's happened to everybody, just at different times. Now, let's see what you can do with those blades." I reached back, and grabbed my sword. My clones did the same. Each one burst to life with the corresponding Attribute. "I call upon past abilities! Mythril Armory!" Blue Armor sprouted up on everybody, followed by a Shield for each Atom along with a ball, and a sword and shield for each Leonidas. "Mythril Armory allows us to generate Mythril Armor, along with two Mythril Weapons. As you can see, all of the Leonidases went with a sword and a shield, while me and my clones went for a shield" I held up the ball "And Mythril Bombs!" I chucked mine in their direction, and it exploded, scattering them. "And you're right. This battle is just heating up!"

I said not another word as the attacks raced my direction. Using my newfound speed I zipped across the battlefield. I reached for card and inserted it into my gauntlet.
"A storm is what I need it might not do much against the bombs but It should cause plenty of confusion." I thought to myself. "Ability Activate: Category 3!"

Janthide took off into the sky. She fluttered her wings graceful increasing with speed gradually and before long the battle field was now encompassed with a giant storm. The storm collided with the bomb attacks from the Leonidas causing wild explosions everywhere.

"Everyone get behind me!" Regina shouted shielding his bakugan comrades from the aftermatch explosions. "Not bad kid, but lets see you finish it." Reginas thought to himself.

"Good now that my bakugan are safe time to head for the Atom's." I continued in my head.

The Atom clones readied themselves as I approached. I leaped into the air and released the shuriken on my holster. Pyrus Atom quickly intercepted the attack with a fire blast however the shuriken seemed to be unphased. The Atom clone tensed with shock as they pierced his chest. The other Atom's gasped. I however did not I continued on and struck the clone with my sword. He cried out in pain, but then smiled.

Kaboom!

He released a point blank range fire blas that sent me flying away. Darkus Atom lunged in dragging me down to the ground using his manipulation over the shadows. He held me down as the rest of the Atom's prepared another attack. I had to act fast otherwise I was a goner.

"This isn't over yet!" "Haos Light pierce the darkness!" I cried out.

As I did my body emitted a bright light that turned the bindings to ash causing Darkus Atom to retreat. The light had blinded the rest of the Atom's. Now was my chance If I wanted to end this I had to do it now! I climbed to my feet and closed my eyes. "Grimm said true energy manipulation takes concentration and action right." "Well let's see what I can do!" I shouted.

The two swords I held began to radiate with intense Haos energy. The energy bounced around the whole battlefield.

"Let's see you stop this I'm calling this one: ALL FOR ONE!" I cried out.

I lashed out with the blades one after the other sending a shockwave of power that collided with the otherside. I never knew if it had won me the match because as soon as I did it my world went black as I reverted to my normal state.

[Atom]

All of us thrust our shields forwards, blocking the brunt of the attack. We were all blasted back a few yards, though, and I landed on my back. I propped myself back up, and surveyed the battlefield. I smiled at what I saw. Ivan had expended enough energy to knock himself out, but his combination attack had done enough to devastate the battlefield. I stood back up, and cancelled Attributic Split. Me and Leo returned to being one each. I went over to Ivan, breaking Reversion as I did so. Leo returned to me, ending the battle. The rest of the Bakugan returned to ball form and landed around Ivan. "Good job guys. You've really helped Ivan to discover his true energy, his true power." I smiled, and grabbed one of my bracelets. I put it on, and three familiar gates appeared around me. I grabbed the ball, and held it above him. "Awakening Pulse!" The energy hit Ivan, and he shot back up to his feet, as if nothing had happened. I got back up, and held out my hand. "Ivan, good job. You've really shown me what you can do, and how well you can work under pressure. As long as you still want it," a small, black box generated in my hand, with a red button on the top, "this is your Realital Gene. This one is permanent, so you'll be able to access everything a Reality Shifter can typically do for as long as you live." I put the box in his hand. "And, you've also earned your spot on my team. Again, only if you still want it." I took a step back, to let it sink into him, when I felt the chaos in me surge again. I wrapped my arms around myself, as this one hurt instead of giving me the chills. "What the?" I turned back to where I set the leaves Grimm gave me down, only to see that the bag had fallen over, and the blowback from the battle had scattered the leaves who knows where. "Crud! This is bad!" I looked at my Shifter Symbol, and noticed that my chaos levels were covering 4/5th of it. I looked at Grimm. "Whatever it is you're planning, you better do it quick!" I felt another pulse of pain as the chaos within me steadily rose. I should've paid more attention to how long that battle was taking!" I fell forward, and my Shifter Symbol burned into the ground a bit. My breathing turned labored as I felt my pulse quicken. My Energy Twist Triangle started going crazy, every symbol on it glowing and fading, as if trying to rebalance itself. The dark symbol started glowing brighter, while the other two faded. "Hurry!"

[Merchant]

Grimm walks up to Atom "This is going to feel really bad." Grimm reaches his hand out. His hand sinks into Atom's chest. "If you let Ivan fully hit you. This wouldn't hurt." A loud piercing sound is heard. It grows louder and louder. The finally with struggle Grimm pulls out his hand. What you both see is a grey bug, worm like creature get pull out then shoved into the cage Grimm had prepared. "You really can fed on him. I wonder." Grimm opens a portal and drops the worm in. "Destruction meets something indestructible. I wonder how he will react. As you now Ivan. Consider me very pleased. You have a fire. And I can't wait too be the one who will smother it. Atom. Considering the situation you handled yourself fine. Yet you pose no threat. You maybe powerful. But. Out of the three of us you are the weakest one here. Weak to something that exist everywhere. Weak to its natural predator. You are weak even compared to destruction. Oh and Ivan. I have yet to get my payback from the time you punched me back at Orlando. So I did say I will make you bleed." It was a flash so fast that the fading form of a sword is in Grimm's hands. A small but very painful cut is now on Ivan's face. Only one drop of blood comes. Grimm blows air out of his mouth pushing Ivan over. "Things have been so interesting. I have even more info than ever. Oh hey relax. That cut will only be there for what. A week. Things have been fun. Hey Atom. I want my own test. I want to see what kind of power I get." An aura grows around Grimm. "I want to see what I'm capable of. Don't hold back. You know how to contact me. Just turn on my device. Tootaloo." With that Grimm fades away. No longer even there.
