"Eh...how embarrassing," Skystar commented on the Reality Shifter's behavior.
"Yeah...I didn't know we could piss people off that much..." Tracy expressed.
"I was talking about the Reality Shifters, not us."
"Oh...yeah... This kinda reminds me of how dysfunctional the Spartans were at one point. These guys might be worse though..."
"Good for us, I suppose. At this rate, we'll win without having to fight their leader. That'll be nice to see...except for the part where they get destroyed by the Dharaknoid for getting disqualified."
"Awwww...poor everyone on that team...except for Grimm."

"...Oops?" Noland shrugged. He knows exactly what he started by how he behaved in that battle. Everyone's going to be gunning for him and Tank more than ever now that they have rattled so many feathers.
"This is all your fault," Drago blamed.
"Y-you sat down! You're in this with me!"
"I played along with what YOU were trying to do. You made me do it."
"No. Absolutely not. I'm not taking the blame for this by myself."
"You have no choice. You heard what they were saying over there. They're really liking you right now."
"Tsk...whatever. Allen's got me covered."

"Hey! We are combination of enemies and rivals. Working together is not really our strong point. But. I guess it takes cowards to rely on the fact that half of our team are villains and the other half being heroes. But losers be loser right. I guess it takes losers to know. The biggest losers are the team leaders." Grimm is out from the ropes somehow, and lights of another firework. This one reads 'scardy cats'. "Want to shut me up then do so by force. I will be happy to take somebody on. After all. I'm a worthless target right. It shouldn't be that hard to get rid of me." Grimm is goading them. "I'm bored, and none of you losers wish to face me. I don't blame you. Being the most wanted in my dimension is awesome. People want me. But that is a positive spin on it."
"Grimm is right. They think they are high and mighty because they are all on the same side. I'm itching for a fight. Or are you guys too afraid to chose me. Drago should take a break. Fine sure. If he wants to take me on. Then I will give him hell. After all we old bakugan shouldn't have to move about now." Serperios is also goading the opposition. Even with a disadvantage hanging over their heads.
"You do know you just called yourself an old man. You old hand bag." Grimm pokes fun at his bakugan.
"Said the brat." Serperios responds. "I can tell our words do reach your ears over there." Now talking to the Opposition. "We should be easy targets. We even have the disadvantage. Unless you are actually scared that we may prove you wrong." Taunts the hydra bakugan.
Grimm, and Serperios have been taunting the Resistors. Calling them cowards for not choosing such a big mouth idiot. The two start slinging more insults at them. Like he is begging to be chosen for a fight. Like he doesn't care who he fights as long as he gets it.

"Right..." Noland rolled his eyes at Grimm's nonsensical banter. If there was someone from that team Noland wasn't taking seriously, it was Grimm by a huge mile. "Maria would LOVE these guys... Wish she was here."
"As long as we don't stoop to their level, we're good. That means you and Tank need to chill out," Drago suggested.
"I didn't even- Alright. You know what?" Noland looked at Kendrick with a stare that should tell him to hurry the fuck up and choose before something happens that gets them penalized. "I don't care who it is. Send me out there for all I care. Just pick and let's go."

"Hm...alright then. My mind's made up then," Kendrick accepted.
"What is your choice, my dear?" Wavern inquired.
"Before I say, I need to know something important since it influences my decision," Kendrick started off. "Can you give me a specific time on how long one of them will be penalized for when they start the battle?"
"Five minutes," Wavern answered. "Due to what Grimm was asking for, I decided to make it a long time when it comes to a battle. A lot can happen in five minutes."
"Five minutes... Okay. So the first thing I want done is to have that penalty extend to two people." This meant that the next two people that battle for the Reality Shifters will suffer from the penalty.
"Done."
"Then, I want to spend one battle point to buff one of our fighters."
"Okay. Do your thing."
Kendrick then grabbed Lydia for a favor. "Hey, Noland said a lot of great things about the buffs you have. Can you give Petra one of those, please?"

Lydia stopped typing on her laptop and briefly looked at Kendrick. She then quickly typed a few more things and a silent beep sound went off. Leon's orb faintly flashed and Lydia continued on typing like before. "'Kay, done." She responded. There did not seem any sign of Maste doing anything- perhaps Lydia could simply buff others' Bakugans via her laptop without a Bakugan. It is like an advanced version of game devices used in brawls; on the spot it may download abilities and skills, merge existing ones into a new one, change qualities of abilities and so much more. She did not put a lot of effort into this activity at all.
"Don't break too much, sweetheart." Lydia loudly commented to Petra who was waiting for her match. She knew the nature of her favorite Eden redhead when she enters a fight and begins breaking things. It often leads to people needing her to stop before she goes overboard. And with the Blessing of Aarias is what allows her to... break even more.

"Perfect," Kendrick accepted. "Now, for our attack. Petra attacks Atom. Final decision."
"Alrighty," Wavern acknowledged. "Since Atom is the bodyguard, no one is allowed to fight for him, so we'll get the battle underway shortly. Contestants, if you would step up to the arena, we will begin in a timely fashion."
"Okay...I'm a little nervous. Not gonna lie. Only God knows what those Reality Shifters can do..."
"I know, right? Oh wait...expression again..." Genesis Dragonoid replied.
"No pressure. Just business as usual, and we'll make it out just fine no matter what."

I sighed, realizing exactly what was going on. "I'm up against the one person we know nothing about, and I have a massive disadvantage." I thought. "Well, no time like the present to pull all the stops." I stepped forward. "I'm ready if you are, Petra. Bring it on." I made sure to focus on what could go wrong, and made sure I had a contingency if the worst happened. "Ready Leo?" "You bet." I stepped into the arena, ready to go. My Attribute Wheel lit up, preparing for everything that it was about to undergo.

"That...that's a messed up combo, Kendrick..." Noland commented on what his little brother just unleashed. It sounded like he was very aware of what Lydia did to Leon. That he was. The Blessing of Aarias is too savage to put into words, well...except one word: Leon.
"I'm just glad I'm getting my money's worth on this one- Er, I mean...won't even try to play that off. I said it..." Noland surrendered.
"Aren't you a gentleman?" Drago sarcastically questioned.
"Be 'nice'," Noland advised Petra, knowing that the word 'nice' to her would piss people off way more than the arrogant behavior Noland intentionally displayed against Blaze.

Petra slowly walked up to the front where everyone could now see her. She did not say or do anything during this time- she may be aggressive, but not idiotic to get penalized for no reason. She was highly disappointed in what Genesis Dragonoid put them up against. "One evil dude who's batshit crazy, one non-evil guy who is double batshit crazy, a crybaby who can't take trash talk and an edgelord with an appropriate name to go with the description. Yep, if they can use all this dimension, reality and parallel universe stuff or whatever difference between those is then whoever gave it to them needs to take therapy." Petra thought to herself after observing everything that was going on with some of the opposing team. Their mouths appear to work quicker than their brains- provided they have any brains to begin with. These kinds of people do not survive very long in a harsh combat environment as they are yet to see one. Drago was merciful with his 'polite' way of using power, but against someone who implies sheer brutality in their move the opponents may rethink facing Petra ever again regardless of the result.
"Leon, your go." Petra signaled to her Bakugan, picked up the dark-orange orb from her left shoulder and casually tossed it at the ground. Orb flashed releasing radiant flames from which a humanoid figure appeared. Leon's monster form.
A large humanoid lion Bakugan appeared on the battlefield. Despite the fiery entrance he had his presence was radiating with warm and soothing feeling for those who could lay eyes on his magnificent form. He had posture of a brave and honorable warrior standing proudly on his piece of the battlefield and looking over at the enemy team. Despite some knowing about Petra to be an intimidating persona Leon seemed to be much calmer and collected. "HA! Enough games! Let's show these kids how adults dominate the battlefield!" He said in a roaring and thunderous voice with a magnificent German accent that made him seem just better and better. He did not seem to carry any weapons but a single katana that was visibly scarred by countless battles he had gone through.

I shook my head, knowing the mind games they were starting. "You know, if you want to talk trash about our battling style, learn what it is first. Additionally, I may have the body of a 17 year old, but I spent about twenty years drifting between Realities trying to find my way home. So, yeah, I don't care that you're calling me a child." I grabbed Leo, and took a special stance. "Let's see you deal with this! Bakugan, Brawl!" I threw Leo especially hard at Leon. "Special Shot!" Leo lit up brightly. "Capital Shine!" He struck Leon in the head. While it most likely wouldn't deal any damage, and it wasn't even certain to annoy him, its effects were transferred with the light. Leo landed on the ground, and revealed himself in his base form. "Let's see if you battle as well as you talk." He said. He took off into the air, ready for anything. I looked directly at Petra, and Clate talked to me mentally. "She's quite powerful. And she has lots of arrogance." He said. "Good luck." My Attribute Wheel lit up brighter, preparing for the battle ahead.

Noland had his arms crossed as he observed the incoming brawl. He wasn't hoping to be impressed by anything this guy puts out, since he doesn't want to get disappointed. Still, he pretty much had to pay attention in case the Destruction guy was actually a threat to him and everyone else. Lydia couldn't care less, so he has to. "Remember, keep it clean, you two," Genesis Dragonoid reiterated. "Try to finish the fight this time.""And with that said, you may begin whenever you're ready!" Wavern announced. Atom and his Bakugan were looked at by Wavern. A spark left her eye as energy that is usually untraceable seized Atom and his Bakugan. There was nothing felt by them, so they won't know that Wavern inhibited their overall capabilities by just feeling her execute the technique. They'll know in due time. ( Petra vs Atom)

Ivan, still binded thanks to Atom's magic, turned his attention to the brawl at hand. "I better do what Atom told me to do and pay CLOSE attention to this fight." I thought to myself. "Be careful Atom, because of me and Grimm's impulsive moves your not going to be able to operate at full power."
I looked towards the other team. "Those guys how could we let them get to us, and now because of it were suffering." I continued to regret in my mind. No sense in feeling sorry now, I just have to hope that Atom can win this we need him."

Grimm takes a break from his mud slinging to look at Atom. "Oh you sly dog. Ivan shut up a little and look at Atom." Grimm's mask is coming in handy. Hiding his wicked grin. "This is going to be almost to easy. I honestly feel sorry for Petra."
"The girl is reckless and arrogant. That will be her downfall. As long as she is either of those two traits. Atom will always win." Says Serperios. "You were looking forward to being chosen were you?"
"Hey it's not often I have a handicap imposed on on myself. I have to hold back a lot so I don't end up accidentally killing somebody. It would be nice to not have to worry about that." Grimm states. "Besides. If it were me vs her. Well her lack of general safety will endanger her bakugan."
"Atom being good to his word won't attack her. But this fight will not last that long. If it does. Then we can call her Ivan 2.0" Serperios adds.

"So I was right..." Noland said as he watched Atom's power come into play. It confirmed that their team's defining trick was that the brawlers' own powers are highly potent, greatly exceeding what Noland and company are able to do individually. "That guy's going to be dangerous."
He didn't need to see anymore than Atom's first move to figure that one out. The idea of him being able to manipulate the battlefield is nothing less than impressive since it should be a gateway to even more capabilities, one of which was the little trick that he was pulling.
Still, despite all of that, Noland seemed pretty comfortable. It wasn't anything to get him riled up for, especially when one pays attention to how he made the comments. Atom is going to be dangerous to Petra, but for now...not quite.
"Leon should be able to see that..." Drago remarked. "It's painfully obvious to me..."
