Card Name: Form Change - Shifter Specialty Card Type: Ability Card Card Classification: Green Attribute: Any Bakugan: Shifter Bakugan (Leonidas(Evolutions), Slight(Evolutions), Pyreon(Evolutions), Janthide(Evolutions), Vladitor(Evolutions)) Played: During Battle Description: While undergoing Form Change, the affected Bakugan is/are immune to having Attribute Specific Abilities that were not negated before not be negated due to an attribute difference. Effect: Change the Bakugan's Attribute. Don't negate abilities not previously negated due to Attribute difference. (IE, say Leonidas used Haos Switch. By using this card, it doesn't get negated because he changed his Attribute. Doesn't apply to stop abilities from being negated due to someone else changing the Bakugan's Attribute.)
(I've been thinking of this ability for a while, so let's see if it's viable.) Set: Private

We don't use "negate" when referring to items being rendered inactive by attribute change. We only use that specific word when referencing counters. Changing attributes is not countering.
The only question I'd ask is if you really want to use one card to do this, because you're not really doing anything using this card alone.

So, if I change Negate to Deactivate, would that solve that specific issue?
And in regards to your other question, it’s just an idea I came up with for a specialization of Form Change. The original only changed my Attribute, so it deactivated any abilities that were not white or usable by the changed Attribute. My thought process was along the lines of being able to seamlessly change my Attribute without worrying about deactivating my abilities, which is how I originally envisioned Form Change working as I wrote my fanfic.
