"Okay. She's in her dorm room. Case closed," Noland quickly answered.
"...That was easy..." Drago commented.
"Okay. So...go to them..." Montai clarified.
"No," Noland defied.
"Someone has to do it. Markus is our best choice for cheating death if it comes to that, but...he just got ran over, so..."
"The Angels are probably going to be on my ass if Petra tells them what the curse made me do, so I'm dead either way. I might as well just kick back and relax until then."
"...What he said," Drago backed up.

"...Allen...?" Montai asked without really knowing what was going through his head right now.
Allen was doing his best to stay out of the conversation. Seeing what happened to Kendrick was enough. Now, they want him to go next to the person causing all of this mess. Like that's about to happen.
"...Alana's got this one..." Allen volunteered.
"You're scared too!?"
"I'm just saying she has the best luck out of all of us. Granted, nothing happened to me yet..."
"...You're not supposed to say that..." Gorem sighed.
"...Nothing happened to me yet. I say we keep it that way."

Alana scoffed at the idea of her going anywhere near Tracy. Allen did have a point in mentioning that what happened to her wasn't really bad luck, but no one would catch her saying that out loud. As far as anyone knows, her being touched was very bad and she feels terrible about it.
"Hm...let's see... Oh, I know. I'm not doing it. Allen just jinxed me," Alana replied.
"Um...I don't really know how this stuff works nor do I care, but... I like not being killed by bullshit," Hydranoid rationalized. "I like not being killed in general. You have any idea how that feels? Staying alive? Eyes not closing permanently? Still being able to breathe?"
"Alright...I get it..." Montai sighed. "So what are we supposed to do then? It's going to get worse if we don't stop it if Lace is correct."
"Don't worry. I know someone whose luck can't get any worse," Alana alleged. "Plus, I hear he's a huge fan of ours. He'll be great."
"...You're really mean to that boy..." Montai sighed again.
"Don't care. Sacrifice him," Alana shrugged.
Since she suggested it..
"Yo, this is some bullshit!" Maurice loudly complained when he was tasked with confronting Tracy about the curse. He was standing outside of a dorm on a college campus he had no idea about, because...
"You're going to kidnap me AND set me up to get cursed!?" he screeched.
"Awwww. I just 'borrowed' you. I'll put you back where you were once this curse is lifted," Alana assured him over their BrawlX communication. "Now...we just need you to draw her out, get her comfortable, and Dasia will take care of the rest."
"Bitch, I'm uncomfortable!"
"What did you just call me?"
"N-nothing. I-I was just talking about how I was gonna help such a lovely lady get this job done so I can...live..."
"That's what I thought. Now, Tracy is about to come down any minute now. Get in there and live, or I'm gonna make sure you don't. Got it!?" Hydranoid commanded.
"...Yes sir..."
"Good. Don't make me come down there."

Tracy came outside of her dorm in jean shorts and a tan shirt. She looked left and right to find the person she was supposed to come into contact with. Her eyes crossed Maurice, but she unintentionally looked him over, because she didn't expect him to be there.
"Um...you looked right at me..." Maurice sighed.
"Hmmmm?" Tracy jumped a little when she saw him. "Um...sorry, but now's not a good time for a battle..."
"I'm not here for that...yet," he said.
"So...you're here to...go out with me...?" she guessed.
"...I'm not like the people I hang with...and Markus would torture me even if I was..." he groaned.
"Then...you want me to train you...?" she wondered.
"Are these really the only reasons why I would visit you?" he asked.
"Um...yes?" she confusingly answered. "I'm at LSU..."
"Right...I knew that. Nice campus too..." he simply stated.
"Get to the point already!" she snapped.
"You're cursed!" he quickly stated.
"...I'm what...?"

"Aw man...I really did all of that...?" Tracy groaned. "Is everyone okay?"
"They're as okay as they can be right now, but if they don't fix what's wrong, something worse could happen," Maurice warned her. "That's why we need to get this rolling, but everyone's too scared to approach you, because they think the curse is gonna get them."
"I would do it myself, but...we're all out of magic right now. Skystar is sound asleep in that gray ball form, and I can't cast any magic without the book. I suppose I could-" Tracy was saying, before being rudely interrupted by a passerby...
"How could you hang around someone like that?" a random girl wondered.
"...I'd say that I'm not so bad of a character now..." Maurice offered as a bright opinion of himself.
"Not you, Maurice! I'm talking about Allen!"
"...What could he have possibly done wrong? That man's a saint!" Maurice assured her. They were shown a news report where Allen made the headlines.
"Child molestation!?" According to the news report, Allen was allegedly using the children from a local community center to satisfy his own...desires... You think you know a guy... The police were already looking for him. In fact...the army was about to get on his tail considering him and Noland have already proven to be stronger than the army itself...
"Nuh-uh. We're getting rid of this curse right now," Tracy declared. "Maurice, what do I need to do?"
"They want you to go to a wide-open area in case the curse affects anyone nearby. And do it fast, they said," Maurice informed her.
"Alright. If they say so."

"She's moving," Drago announced.
"Good," Dasia acknowledged. "Lace, do you have any further information on this curse?"
"Yes," Lace answered. "The curse's designation is 'Onesh', a mystical punishment to those who use black magic. Onesh is able to bring bad luck to anyone who is the closest to the victim. That closeness treats those Tracy likes or dislikes as viable targets, which means it uses emotional connection to inflict damage. Alternatively, Onesh can also affect those who attempt to help the damned. The punishment for that...is greater than the ones who are already suffering."
"...So it's capable of killing us..." Dasia guessed.
"Ordinary protocol would force me to abandon the mission and to return home when I am endangered in this manner; however, King Turano has given me the right to stray from protocol if it is to help the Resistors. What should we do, Princess?"
"I think enough damage has been done to make turning away a shameful option. I say we go for it," Dasia quickly decided.
"Acknowledged. I shall prepare for battle immediately," Lace accepted.
"You don't have to get yourself hurt, you know..." Montai told Dasia.
Dasia smiled at her. "No need to worry about that," she said. "The fighting you all did that ended up saving me in the end makes helping out worth it. Plus, this could affect the Spartans by extension, so I can't allow that to happen."

The kid was standing idly by as all of this went down. His eyes were open-wide as if he was in a trance.
"...Onesh..." he said to himself. "...You hurt Mommy and Daddy last time..."
"Say what now?" Hydranoid gasped. "You knew something about this curse the whole time?"
"..." The kid's hand started glowing in a bright green aura. He grasped a Darkus Bakugan orb in his hands. Doing so energized the Bakugan enough to where it was brought out of the grayed-out state it was in before.
"I'm gonna go destroy it!" the kid wished.

"..." Noland looked at his 'son' do what he just did. It looked eerily similar to how Noland activated his imperfect Switch Code power. It even showed some healing factor. This got Noland interested. VERY interested.
"Alright," Noland acknowledged as he hoisted the kid up on his shoulders. "You want to fight some evil? You got it."
"...Not gonna question allowing a little boy to say and eventually do that," Drago shrugged. "Let's just fight this thing so we can relax and not go to prison. I'm starting to get pissed off with how much running around we're doing."
"Allen? Alana? Link up?"

Tracy hurried to an open space on campus. Unfortunately, she didn't get very far. Her fitness didn't allow her to cross obscene distances in miles within a couple of seconds, not that it ever would. Of course, she was tired, but she made it.
"Okay...I'm here..." she said in between breaths. "You can...do whatever you're going to do now..."
"Okay," a familiar voice answered.
"...You again..." Tracy gasped.
"Yes, it's me, Betadron," he happily answered.
"But...Drago killed you..."
"So I've heard..." a foul, venomous energy seeped out of Tracy's being and formed into an incomplete-looking version of Betadron himself. He stood tall on the open field. "I appreciate the 'concern' for my well-being. I'm still alive."
"..."
"You want to know how? Thanks for asking. I wager that Skystar has stumbled upon some interesting concepts in the damn book she reads all the time. The ultimate goal of having your power transcend the limitations of the body and mind. In basic terms, it is making sure your power is not simply tied to your mortal body. Difficult task. Godly task. Very few mortals have ever accomplished reaching such a state of being. I've already done it, hence why my body's destruction at the hands of Drago was only a short-term deficit."
"How do you know what's in that book?"
"...Did Lars Lion really not tell you why? Heh...you have no idea how old I am?"
"..."
"...You really don't know! That's amazing! Since I'm antagonizing you, I'll let you in on a little secret. Those spells you were using when I turned you over to the dark side... 'We' made those."
"...We?"
"Yes. WE."
"So you're ancient?"
"I COULD be. Then again, I like to think I'm still young. It helps me cope with how long it has been."

Noland, Allen, Alana, and the kid arrived via the advanced movement technique Noland constantly uses. Dasia arrived via teleportation, which Lace conveniently created as a power to get to the location without being cursed...yet. "What is that?" Dasia asked. "Oh, hi there. Don't mind me," Betadron said to excuse himself. "I hitched a ride. I was just leaving.""There's a high probability that he's lying," Lace analyzed. "...Thanks...""Scans show that this dark energy is coming from Tracy's inner being. She's tainted," Lace deduced. "Whatever you're doing here, there's no need to worry about anything else. It's over," Dasia assured him. "I'm ending this now.""Alright. Good luck," Betadron cued as a large blob of darkness revolved around Tracy and Skystar's being. It culminated into a skinny, archangel-looking demon with an eclipse-looking orb in the palm of its hands. This was the will of the curse, Onesh. ( Boss Theme)

The Bakugan summoned themselves in monster form to stand across from Onesh and Betadron. Hydranoid immediately scowled at Betadron and pointed in his direction.
"You!" Hydranoid roared.
"Yes...me!" Betadron celebrated, believing that Hydranoid was pissed off about his presence.
"Tell me! How does one get a cool-looking weapon like that?" Hydranoid requested.
"...Wait...what? You're not upset that I'm here?" Betadron asked.
"Oh wait. That's rude. Who are you exactly?" Hydranoid wondered.
"...You've seen me before... I'm the one who put you here on Earth..." Betadron seethed.
"Right. The irrelevant cuck that sat on the side while Fury told you when and where to satisfy him. Make yourself useful and give up some info," Hydranoid spat.
"Alright. That's it. You done fucking asked for it," Betadron decided.
Onesh began chanting some ancient Vestroian spell using Vestroian language. It sounded like evil whispers to everyone else. Uneasy vibrations came from the eclipse orb and rattled reality itself.

Whatever Onesh did ended up attracting the attention of a large creature. A shadow loomed over everyone's heads as the said creature arrived. The Resistor trio should know who and what this was.
To make matters worse, the Louisiana state police, the National Guard, the Army, and the Air Force were making their way to the area. A bunch of Juggernaut, Skyress, and Robotallion littered the landscape. Dwarfing them all was none other than Giganox himself. And with him was...
"Sargon!" Drago called out.
The general himself was confused. He was looking around him with very wide eyes. The look on his face hinted towards him NOT wanting to be there.
"...I know we have our differences, but...this really isn't what it looks like," he stressed. "You see..."
"Tracy did it?" Drago guessed.
"...Yeah..." he surrendered.

"..." Noland was not for the respective armies and whatnot coming for them. He could guess why this was happening though. The last thing he wanted was a repeat of what happened the last time they ganged up on him.
"...Having this extreme power really sucks sometimes..." Noland sighed when he is now starting to realize that the United States requires several armed forces to deal with them.
"Indeed..." Drago agreed.
"You'll get used to it," Betadron claimed. As he did, Giganox began pulling out a certain weapon. Whatever it was made Noland scared for the first time in a very long time...
"Please don't do that..." Noland begged.

"Uh...if what my gauntlet says is correct, then..." the general started speaking. "He just pulled out 'Duke'...which is a name for...a nuke..."
Giganox was armed with a payload on his back. His entire body was being charged with a shield meant to protect himself and the payload from being harmed before it is fired. This mechanism was in place so that there was a minimal chance someone could stop Sargon from firing it if he ever needed to use it.
"I didn't- I didn't tell him to use that..." Sargon desperately claimed. He kept trying to recall the weapon, but it was no use. For some 'magical' reason, Giganox was prepared to launch it anyway.
"...I'm in so much trouble..." he knew. Despite saying this, he nearly died from a heart attack when Giganox launched the nuclear payload.
"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!" he panicked. "I didn't think he'd actually launch it!"

"That payload possesses enough firepower to split the continent," Lace analyzed. "The radiation from the fallout could and probably would wipe out all sentient life in this hemisphere. Response?"
"Now's a good time as any to setup shop here," Dasia signaled. "Activating the Creation Index."
"Creation Index accepted," Lace acknowledged. "Forming..." Digital blue lights flowed from her fingertips to create a cylindrical pillar. She stuck it into the ground. Then, it began emitting a pulse throughout the area. This was an anti-curse pulse that was meant to prevent Onesh from targeting anyone within the United States. It also nullified its hold on anyone in the country as well.
"Word of caution, Princess. We will be subject to the curse since we've gotten involved per the earlier descriptions of Onesh's power," Lace warned Dasia.
"That's fine," she said. "This will give everyone a chance to respond and stop the nuclear threat now that Onesh can't affect anyone for a certain amount of time."
