"U-uh... N-n-nothing..." Allen dismissed. "Nothing's going on. Yep. Nothing."
"Nothing," Gorem reiterated.
"Uh huh..." Drago shrugged. From the way he sounded, he wasn't buying that for a second. Something was definitely going on here... "So...we're just gonna hear about Petra for today? No Jenna?"
"Yep. No Jenna," Gorem insisted.
"So what were you two doing while we were making sure Alana didn't kill anyone?" Drago wondered.
"I was being a concerned citizen and making sure no one got mixed up in the chaos in the bleachers," Allen summed up.
"Yeah, okay," Drago reluctantly accepted.

Later in the day in the evening hours...
Alana was getting out of the shower. Hydranoid - in his robed form - came up to the bathroom door and knocked on it.
"Yes?" Alana responded.
"Did you call your husband?" Hydranoid wondered.
"Ha ha ha," Alana fake laughed.
"Well, did you?"
"No."
"So you're not expecting him?"
"No. Why are you asking me these questions?"
"No reason." Hydranoid walked away from the door and went elsewhere.
Alana came out of the bathroom with a towel around her body. She found Hydranoid pointing towards her bed. There was a Noland sitting on it.
"...What am I going to do with you?" Alana wondered.

"I would've waited downstairs, but Hydranoid insisted I wait right here," Noland claimed so that he didn't get called out for being perverted or whatever.
"...I was expecting a much bigger reaction than this, like...you asking him how he wanted to die. I'm guessing him seeing you like this doesn't bother you anymore...?" Hydranoid expressed. "...I'll see myself out now before I get in more trouble."
"Alana, are you out of the shower now? I've been meaning to ask you. Are you planning to compete this year? We were wondering if you-" Alana's mother said as she walked into the room to see...well...a naked girl in the same room with a boy... "Oh...uh...I'm so sorry..."
"..." Noland nervously whistled, because he was really going to get in trouble now...

"Mom, no. Please. It's not what it looks like!" Alana claimed.
"No, no, no. It's alright. I'm leaving now!" her Mom claimed as she shut the door. "Please be gentle, Noland. No grandkids right now!"
"Oh. My. God." Alana really had murder on her mind right now...
"She really didn't see me in here?" Hydranoid wondered, because he clearly wasn't going to watch if something like that was really going on. Alana gave Noland a warm smile to mask how she was really thinking now that her Mom believed that they were having sex.
"You're here for a good reason, right?" Alana asked him.

"A very good reason, but...not good enough to invade your privacy and...trick your mother into thinking we're having sex..." Noland accepted. "I wanted to talk to you about something, but...it can wait until after you put some clothes on. I'll wait somewhere else... That's what I would've said if you didn't do this same thing to me last week."

"W-what? I didn't- Ugh. Whatever. Be petty," Alana pouted. She was pulling out some clothes from her drawer. She was moving to put them on, but...Hydranoid finally drew the line.
"So you're not going to go back into the bathroom behind a door?" Hydranoid wondered.
"Noland can see me anyway. What's the point?" Alana shrugged.
"Oh, come on. You've got to be exaggerating. There's no way Noland would use his powers to be a creep. He's not THAT bad."
"You said he's my husband, so why are you questioning it?" Alana poked.
"Alright... I won't do it again... I promise," Hydranoid surrendered.

"Oh...so that's getting said here too, huh?" Noland realized without sounding too surprised. "Grandma calls you my wife ever since Darius arrived. What a coincidence. Anyway, if you all were worried about me seeing anything, don't. I've had my powers deactivated all day. If I wanted to be a perv and see through your towel, I'd have done it already. And no, I'm not THAT bad. I'm not even 'bad' at all."
"But, really, Hydranoid's right. You should probably go behind closed doors...or you must want to change in front of me?"

"You wish," Alana accused. "Fine. You win. I won't show up in your room unannounced again. I promise. Now, please don't suddenly reactivate your powers when I go back in there. I know you won't, but... You technically have a girlfriend right now, so... Yeah. Just looking out for you..."
One minute later...
Alana walks out with a shirt and some leggings. She turned on the TV and took a seat right next to Noland.
"So...what's up?" Alana wondered. "If this is about the battle, Hydranoid and I are doing fine. Honest."

"Not about the battle at all," Noland assured Alana. "It's about...well, before I say that, please just keep this between us, alright? I shouldn't have done this, but I was there, and it affected me more than I want to admit right now. That conversation you, Allen, and Tank had... I heard it all. I know what's going on with everyone involved..."
"I know how weird it must be for you to weigh in on this at all, but just know that I'm not gonna think of you any differently for thinking or saying however you feel about all of this, okay? I know that Markus called you after he got out of jail. I was at the scene. What did he tell you?"

"..." Alana feared that Noland was on the case. With Noland's powers, there was virtually nothing they could sneak past him.
"...As long as you meant what you just said...I'll talk..." Alana accepted. "There are some things I was told not to tell you out of fear you would do something, but...I guess you're going to figure it out one way or another..."
"...Markus and Tank uncovered something huge. There's this organization called the Tribunal. Maurice's dad was a member of that, and that's why he ended up dead at Legion's arena. He fought Markus and Tank...by bringing back your Dad... I'm sorry I never told you earlier. They told me to keep it a secret..."

"..." Noland didn't expect to hear that at all. Even Drago had to pop out of ball form into robed form, and then looked at Alana with his eyes bulged.
"Do I really look like I'm gonna blow up the Earth over hearing about that? I'm more mad that this has to be kept a secret at all," Noland facepalmed.
"I agree. That's a load of bullshit," Drago concurred. "Which one of them told you that?"

"Your Dad told them not to tell you," Alana clarified. "It was his last request before Markus sent him back to the afterlife. Once him and Tank got sent to jail, Alex and Victoria came in there, and that's when they found out about the Angel's motive for keeping their eyes on you. They said that the item Asuka gave you has them suspicious about what it could be used to do."

"So...a ring? They're stalking me over a ring?" Noland summed up.
"Even if that was the case, what about when we didn't have it?" Drago brought up.
"Petra's in the unit that's looking out for it too. If they wanted it so bad, they could've just asked for it. I don't understand why I'm getting put through this. It's not making sense. And Lydia knows about this and never said a word to me about it?"

"We wanted you to remain happy, Noland... So did I," Alana admitted. "We tried to make sure it didn't look like everyone and everything was out there to screw you over. Lydia led us to believe that Petra wasn't in on this, and we still don't believe that she is. But, we see how it's affecting you, so we were digging up some information so you could decide for yourself when it was time..."
"You said you wouldn't think any less of me, so I'm just going to say it whether you like it or not, okay? You NEED to get out of this NOW," Alana expressed. "With the mess with Asuka, the Angels, and a higher-up at Eden prying into your business in an attempt to gain something, it's just too much. I know you're not happy, Noland. Petra's not a bad person, but she's bad for you right now... You shouldn't have to just accept all of the bullshit that's getting thrown at you like this..."

"Not to beat a dead horse, but...I side with Allen and Alana on this one," Drago concurred. "They know what's best for you, because this is the kind of advice that should've been given to your father many years ago. When there's a plot brewing in the background, and there's romantic feelings involved in it, it spells disaster. I was going to come out and say it earlier, but I wanted to hear for myself what your closest friends had to say."
"..." Noland gave a loud sigh. It's not that he didn't want to listen to what they were saying to him. He didn't want to accept that the situation was unfolding the way it was, even though his decision was made... "Honestly, my feelings for her started disappearing after going through this for one week. I've been single for a while as far as I'm concerned," Noland admitted. "I guess I've been afraid to let her go. We're like a perfect match for each other, but...I've been keeping this going at my own expense. I had no idea that everyone was going out of their way for me like this... I"m sorry."
