"Nuh uh. No apologizing. Even you said this to me back when you saved me from the Maverick virus. We support each other," Alana insisted. "We're gonna support you even if you do decide to stay with her, but ONLY if you promise me one thing. Whatever decision you make, make sure it's the right one for YOU. Don't worry about us. Just focus on what YOU want, okay?"

"Yeah. I promise," Noland accepted. "I'm not keeping you all in suspense though. I'm getting out of this. What you and Allen said made my situation very clear. I should have a reasonable expectation of privacy like any normal person, and if they can't respect that, then oh well."
"..." Drago nodded in approval of that decision. The only question was...how was Noland going to follow through with this?
"Hey...um...I know you all have been doing a lot, but...I can't lie to you. I have half a mind to blow something up with how much care the Angels don't have about what they're doing here," Noland admitted. "I'm not saying I'm gonna resort to violence to deter them, but...if I attempt to do that..."

"...Okay..." Alana agreed without having to hear what Noland was going to say next. "If you need to talk to me some more, then please. Stay here as long as you want, but don't confront them with that on your mind. Don't let them cause you to do something that's irreversible. We've worked too hard for these ladies to drag us down now."
"Markus and Gargulion seem to be doing a good job getting the information they want. I say we let them do their thing until we get to the bottom of this. If we attack them, we might never find out," Hydranoid warned Noland.

"..." Noland took a deep breath, because after hearing that, he wanted to bolt out of there and confront all seven of those Angels to give them exactly what they deserve. It was something about someone telling you not to do something that made you want to do it even more.
"Alright," Noland agreed to without an argument. Of course, what was on his mind may sing a different tune than what he just said...
"So...I heard Jimmy is supposed to be fighting his brother for his pro debut," Noland remembered. "...I bet that Jimmy will win."

"Oh... So you're ready to lose again, huh? Alright then. You're on," Alana gladly welcomed.
"How about us Bakugan make the wager this time? You went overboard with the last one," Hydranoid suggested.
"Sure did," Drago quickly agreed. "...It was helpful though. I think I'll go back."
"Losers tell their current most embarrassing secret," Hydranoid proposed. "I'm trying to figure out what you've been doing on this planet for the 300 years you've supposedly been here, old man."
"I'm still a teenager," Drago corrected. "But, I'm sure your time in the jungle produced far better stories."
"Too bad you boys won't find that out, because - just like last time - I'm gonna win," Alana knew.

"Nope," Noland disagreed. "I got this matchup figured out. Only way Jimmy screws this up is if 'pro nervousness' gets him. He's too positive to allow that to happen."
"Plus, Drazardon's gonna have to be a lot faster to keep up with how Heronix has developed over the past couple of years," Drago added.
"We got this one," Noland confidently said. He changed the channel to the network that was getting ready to broadcast the battle.

"Drazardon's not that fast, BUT...as long as his spacing is good, it'll be like the disadvantage isn't there," Alana believed.
"Plus, Drazardon's freakishly powerful too, so if he gets a good hit in, I dunno about your boy," Hydranoid mentioned.
"Better figure out what you're gonna tell us," Alana confidently said.
Thirty minutes later...
"...Ah shit..." Alana lamented.

Back at Noland's house - around the same time Noland was at Alana's house - Darius was running around.
"Quit that running!" Sandra yelled out from the living room.
Darius complied, but the reason why he was running still wasn't clear. He found Kendrick in the basement doing homework. He seemed like a good person to talk to right now.
"Uncle Ken, I can't find Dad anywhere, so you get to listen to what I have to say," Darius informed him. "I know something about the bad guys cousins Tank and Markus fought."

Kendrick became wide-eyed when he heard Darius talk. What he said spooked him like nothing else has before.
"Wait a minute..." Siege stopped. He was dozing off in the corner of the basement until Darius soundly interrupted him. "What are you talking about?"
"I don't really care how or why, but let us have it," Krakix requested.
"I'm listening..." Kendrick announced.

"Vladitor and I are descendants from those people. I don't know the identity of my ancestor though," Darius revealed. "They were banished just like I was, except their banishment was spiritual while my people's were physical. Their banishment is tied to the same one that currently keeps Betadron and Fury in the Doom Dimension; however, since I was able to escape the seal, they were revived."
"Unintended consequences, just so we're clear," Vladitor added.
"Their awakenings are different. They need physical bodies since theirs are long gone," Darius continued. "If someone's DNA matches theirs by even a little bit, they can come back to life through them. That's how Maurice's dad became so powerful."

"...Alright then..." Kendrick accepted. "...Give me a minute..." Kendrick picked up the phone and dialed a number.
"Good idea," Krakix approved.
"Hello? Markus? This is Kendrick. Can you come over here, please?" Kendrick requested. "Yes, I know what time it is and that you have some things to take care of. This is an emergency. A REAL emergency, not like those pranks Maya and I were pulling."

Markus rushed right to Noland's house along with Tank. In fact...all of the Resistors were in the house, including Seiki. It was like a team meeting.
"So, I'm having trouble finding the right words to let you all know how fucked we are," Markus started off.
"Language," Sandra reminded him from upstairs.
"Oh. Right. Sorry," Markus apologized. "So, Darius, explain this to me. If what you told Kendrick was true, and if we have proof that Noland and Alana are in fact your parents, are they in danger of getting possessed?"

"Nope," Darius gladly answered. "Mommy and Daddy are safe."
"...I'm not gonna lie, kid. You almost gave me a heart attack there," Drago expressed.
"Because they're already possessed."
"..."
"To be more specific - just so that revelation doesn't alarm you or lose trust in them - there's an old saying among our people. It goes something like, 'The bad will always outweigh the good, but the good is still there.' You weren't possessed by evil people, but the ones who are Darius' parents have decided to go into your bodies when they were released," Vladitor clarified.

"Glad you cleared that up, because I was getting really scared for a moment," Allen expressed. "So, from what I'm hearing, it's like reincarnation, except that they never died."
"Sounds complicated," Gorem added in.
"You know what? I'm glad you brought that up, because if I recall correctly - which I am - Noland and Alana have been the hot topic at Eden based on what we've been hearing. That's a pretty big coincidence that Noland and Alana can't catch a break and we found out that two ancient people are in their bodies."

"...It's scary how you might be right, Allen," Markus shuddered to think. "I mean, we still don't know why Noland has been getting followed before Darius shows up here. It's possible that someone in Eden knows about the bloodlines of the ancient Tribunal members, or it could be for a completely different reason that us civilians can't know about. Either way, it reinforces what I was telling Tank about. We can't trust anyone..."
"This is worse than the Hurranians," Gargulion declared. "Depending on how far back the Tribunal dates, we could be looking at a large percentage of the human population descending from a Tribunal member. We don't know if anyone else aside from Noland and Alana are descendants, and we now know that Maurice is a descendant since his father was possessed."
