Questions about the New Rules

I've read both this site's and the official rules for Battle Planet. I have some questions to ask so that everything is clarified for everyone:

Note: Just like the original system, this is not completely mimicking the official rules, but I do still want to be clear about certain things. You know how people will expect everything to be a carbon copy of real life. You've seen it before.

1. Hide Matrix

The official rules makes the players take turns putting BakuCore on the field. It also tells the player where BakuCore can be placed and where it can't. Since there's no mentioning of this in the rules, my assumption is that you're making the BakuCore a combination of gate cards and support weapons from the old system. That's what I'm seeing anyway.

So, are the players taking turns putting BakuCore on the field to setup the Hide Matrix? Or, are we only taking the BakuCore into account when we push the 'Boost/Decrease Damage Rating with BakuCore' button?

2. Charging Energy

The official rules has a Magic/Duel Masters way of charging energy. Are we going to have to use this method to charge energy, or do we just keep track of our energy in posts without having to place cards face down (On the start of my turn, I just say that I have +1 energy, so now I have ? energy)?

3. Victor

My old man brain is having trouble with this one. I understand that the winner stays on the field. What I'm struggling to understand is where it says I can't use that Bakugan until it closes. Can that Bakugan be attacked by my opponent when he/she rolls another Bakugan to the field? Am I still able to play cards for the Bakugan (main reason why I'm asking since the rules say I can't use the Bakugan)? It would greatly help if this was explained.

1. Hide Matrix: Since I haven't mentioned about this in the rules, we don't do the players putting BakuCores to setup the Hide Matrix. Therefore, we only take the BakuCores into account when we push the 'Boost/Decrease Damage Rating with BakuCore' button.

2. Energy: Not to confuse with the Battle Planet rules, we do not place card face-down to charge energy. You just have to keep track of your Energy in your posts. So yes, we just say on the start of our turn: "On my Standby Phase, I charge +1 Energy, so now I have "X" Energy....)

3. Victor: The standing Bakugan cannot be attacked when the opponent throws in another Bakugan. However, you can still use cards on the standing Bakugan. Such as this card, which lets you close your standing Bakugan so that you can use it once again. (I planned to add this card later on in the future update anyway)

4. Phases

Standby Phase > Roll Phase > Brawl Phase > Damage Phase > End Phase

There are a couple of questions about this area:

1) Are these phases for each player's individual turn, or is this for a whole round? (There's a reason why I'm asking this if it seems obvious. I saw the wording in the thread, but I'm just verifying for everyone else's sake.)

2) When it comes to the standby phase, it is the only phase where you can charge energy. The said energies can only recharge during the end phase. So, if you and I had Bakugan on the field, and we only had 1 energy each, does this mean that we're stuck with that 1 energy until the end phase?

5. Factions

Aurelus' Avalanche ability has me thinking about ways I could potentially use this to my benefit. It also made me think of one way a member might try to cheat with this. So, I just want to ask this obvious question so that there's no excuse for anyone else. Can you use another faction-specific card for a Bakugan that doesn't belong to the said faction?

6. Money

A lot of us are already stacked with cash, so buying the things we need won't be a problem. Other than generous donations (which I'm planning to do), is there any way for a new member to earn money aside from their post count?

7. Battle Field

I won't lie to you. I have my concerns with this, but I'll give it a chance for now. One concern I will bring up goes back to my previous question about money. Newer members may not have the resources to cover all of their bases. If they face one of us, and we end up choosing a battle field that directly benefits us and not them, they'll be at a disadvantage for the entire battle.

So, the question is, will the choice of the battle field be randomized?

4. Phases:

1. If I understand your question correctly, these phases would be for each player's individual turn, by keeping things simple. Here is an example the way it will work:

   Player 1's post: "Standby Phase: Charge 1 Energy, now have 1 Energy.
   Brawl Phase: Bakugan Brawl! Pyrus Dragonoid Stand! (200 B-Power)"
   
   Player 2's next post: "Standby Phase: Charge 1 Energy, now have 1 Energy.
   Brawl Phase: Bakugan Brawl! Darkus Nillious Stand! (500 B-Power)

2. Yes correct. At the beginning of the brawl, each player is stuck with 1 Energy. Next turn, we will make it to 2 Energies, and so on...

5. Factions: This is something I forgot to mention in the rules. I will make an update on it soon. As long you have the Bakugan with that 'faction' on your team (it has to be the one you are planning to use), you can use the card from that faction on another Bakugan. (e.g. You are currently using Pyrus Dragonoid in battle, and while you have Darkus Nillious on your team that you're planning to use (whether standing or closed), you are still able to use Darkus Card on Dragonoid.

6. Money: I have opened this thread once again. Members can get $200 for each advertisement. If you have another suggestion besides that, let me know!

7. Battlefield: It's up to members to discuss with themselves which battle field they would like to battle through Private Message or chatroom (Discord). If no one is too sure about that, there is always the default option which is for the Regular Field.
