The BeginningWithin the beginning, one lone man began trapping wolves from around his estate. This man had an idea within his mind that would just not go away and everytime he tried to sleep all he could do was think about what things could happen if only he worked hard to make this happen. Only a couple months ago, the mans wife had a bad car accident and due to this, she could no longer walk or take care of herself. It depressed both the man and his wife that she would not have the life she had always wanted, children, and taking care of her husband. Only within the last few weeks though did he start thinking of a scientific way to give her life back to her. He had begun by thinking of super heroes and how much stronger than normal people they were and how it enhanced all of their senses. Then he thought, what if he made a drug that would have those affects, then his wife would be able to walk again and probably even better than what she used to. So he thought about this idea for quite sometime then he decided that the only way he could find out was by trial and error. If he could come up with a syrum to make her better then all their troubles would be over. He also knew though that he would not be able to test the syrums on his wife or himself for it could have bad affects which neither of them would want to suffer through. He thought of many animals which he could do the tests on but one day he saw a lone wolf come onto his home and take one of his chickens. The theiving scoundrel had done this many times before. So why not experiment on this savage beast who wished to steal the mans lively hood? So the man began setting traps for the little beasts and even used his own livestock to lure them in.
The SyrumSo within the next few years all the man concentrated on was making this syrum to help both him and his wife. He was sure that if he could only perfect the syrum that his wife would be able to walk again and she would no longer feel sad from having her life taken away from her. The man spent more and more time in the lab, leaving his young son to fend for himself and not paying attention to any of the going ons about the house. His son was normally the one taking care of his wife, though the boy did not know why his father spent so much time within the basement. The man started off with a syrum which actually made the wolf deteriorate much faster than it ever would have and within hours the specimen was dead and the doctor removed the animal with a saddened pace. He was sure that this would work but it was going to take a lot of time and he wasn't sure how much time his wife would have. He burned the carcass of the first wolf and continued his work. Within just a few months the results were already looking better but none of them seemed quite perfect enough to give to his wife. Many of them had bad symptoms after taking the syrum like becoming blind or getting rashes that would not go away no matter what he tried. Everytime he made a new syrum, it got better but the symptoms would change and somestimes get worse. Within the first year, he had went through over 100 wolves and they were starting to thin out around his lands. He would have to have a lot of wolves imported soon to be able to keep us his research, or else he would have to move. After another 6 months, he decided that they would move to a more remote area with wolves abundant in the area.
The Super GeneAfter another year the man had finally found a syrum which he was sure would work. He was sure that this was the specific one that would cure his wife and he excitedly waited for a specimen to try it out on. Within a few weeks he caught a red male wolf and the wolf seemed quite agressive and aggitated with the man. The man used the syrum upon the male anxiously waiting for the results which he was sure he would get. The wolf hated the prick of the needle but after the syrum was administered.... nothing happened. The wolf seemed normal as ever and so the man put him back in his cage, again dissatisfied with the results. Within the next couple of days, still nothing had changed within the wolf so the scientist decided to release him back into the wild. When he was on his way back from doing so, he caught sight of a lone white wolf within the confines of the trees. He stopped and set a trap near where the wolf had been then went back home. Within the next week he went back to his trap and found the wolf he had seen earlier and no one seemed to have stayed around to help her. This one must not have a family like some he had caught before. He took the lone wolf back to his lab and did as he had done with the male. Within moments, her eyes seemed to get brighter and the man stared at her anxiously. He stuck her back in the cage and sat down in a chair, keeping his eyes on her progress. She was a sleek wolf and everything about her seemed to change right before his eyes. It had worked! Finally he would be able to cure his wife. But first he would need to run quite a few tests, just to make sure that his wife could be injected safely.
The EscapeThe scientest decided to run tests on her to find out what all had been affected by the syrum. He made her run on a tredmill as fast as the machine would go and he stared at her facinated. He put a rabbit so far away from her that he had to drive and yet she could smell it just fine and he could tell she wanted to go and hunt it. He went without feeding her for weeks, wondering how long she could survive without having something to eat. When she became weak, he finally let her eat again. The main caused her pain which would kill any normal wolf and all she did was get more and more pissed. The man did not happen to think of the savagery which was behind her eyes or notice how everytime he got close, her anger would get worse. The man was in for it if he ever made the mistake of giving her one small chance of killing him. The wolf's name was narcissa not that this human knew that. She was only about 2 years old when the trap had captured her. She had just left her family's pack in search of finding herself a mate so she could have pups and live that happy life. Then this man had taken her and her life had become a living hell. She knew that soon she would be back out within the forest because her mind told her so and so she kept to herself and did what the man asked of her. The pain she endured turned her cold as stone. The pain was all she could feel most of the time. Then one day, her body told her to run, and not stop. Even with a thick wall standing between her and freedom, don't stop. So she ran at the wall and to her surprise, it gave way to her bodice and she was within the grass once again. And all her pain still remained within her mind but it was no longer physical pain.
The PresentNow the Super gene is out within all the lands. Only 5 super wolves exist for the moment though. And one of them happens to be the origional. They must watch out though because the man recruited other scientists to his idea and they hunt for the one wolf who can give them the true syrum. They need her blood in order to create the syrum for humans. Other wolves banish or kill any that they know to be super due to the fact that those wolves are the reason for so many wolves being taken and killed by the humans. If it weren't for them then none of this would be happening. Who will win, the wolves, or the scientists?
