Chapter 1
Prelude
Way back into the past Shokraan and Human lived together. Shokraan were a peaceful spirit beast. Man hunted for them and provided a peaceful environment to live in, and the spirits in turn taught Man in the ways of the Energies. Man soon aquired the ability to hone their inner spirit power themselves, granting them their power of the Energy Xzenos. A Xzenos is a humans base spirit much simpler that capturing a Shokraan spirit. But there was a snake in the grass, Senryo. His lust for power was far greater than that of any spirit user. Sen managed to capture a Shokraan spirit and quickly learned that his human body could only contain 1 Shokraan. His lust drove him to create another energy, Kronos Tel, and this damaged the balance of the universe. For there were only meant to be 3 Energies; Shokraan, Xzenos, and Mythe. Kronos Tel managed to expand the limits of the human body, but it also capured the Shokraan of a defeated enemy. Soon enough Senryo ruled over Pangaea, under the title Demagaraeus, meaning Victor over all Commers. This drew the Mythes out of there place in the 8th Dimension, Watchplace of the universe. That is exactly what Demagaraeus wanted. He wanted to capture the Mythe Beasts. They confronted him on the Plain of the Mythe, where it is believed that the Mythes created Pangaea. This battle was not swift as Nagaa Mirokus had planned it, but it turned into a 1 man war between Senryo and the 5 Mythe beasts. This war lasted 3 months as it was known as the battle of Mythkrakko. The Mythes suffered a loss but weren't captured. Before Senryo could slay and capture them they blinded him with a flash of light as they escaped. They knew that they wouldnt be as powerful as Demagaraeus. So they seeked out a suitor that was pure of heart. They found Magraroarke. They trained Roarke in the Arts of the Mythe, and when his training was complete he was able to control all powers of the Mythes; Nagaa Mirokus, Vexegennoxzene, Zedriyo, Exodus, and Ultriyatix. When he absorbed these beasts he cast a spell on himself and Senryo so that age would not occur to them as they fought. 2 months later Senryo was confronted by Magraroarke at the Plain of the Mythe. And so their epic battle commenced and ran on for 200 years. They both were extremely exausted, but couldn't stop fighting. As if it were their dying urge. But Senryo had some dirty tricks, and the next 100 years those tricks had really taken a toll on Magrarorke's dropping stamina. Magraroarke was on the brink of destruction, when he heard a faint whisper.
"Magraroarke. Think of all of the ones you are leaving, then think of how you are leting us down."
It was Nagaa.
"Magraroarke. Tis is not a battle you can afford to lose. Think of the worlds fate if you lose this battle of epic proportions. Look inside yourself, for you must win this battle. Not for you, or us, But for the universe' sake. I know you will find a way.
A final burst of Nagaa's dark energy ended this 1 on 1 war. A purple bolt of lightning clashed and engulfed Demagaraeus. And the spell of agelessness was broken, causing Magraroarke to age rapidly into dust and nothingness. Dying with title: Mythe Rokus
Now in the future year 2296 Magraroarke and Senryo's descendents are born. Dan Shari/Magraroarke, and Luc Gallows/Senryo. Dan and Luke have ensued in a fierce rivalry, and now they are basically on each other's throats.[/spoiler]
Chapter 2
Almost Late
"WHAA, WHAA, WHAA," the alarm blares in Dan's ear. "Dan," called his mother, "you'll be late if you don't wake up. You don't want to be late on your first day of school do you."
Dan sluggishly got out of bed and made his way to the bathroom. Dan sighs. Another semiboring year of non-stop fighting with Luc, he mused. Dan washed up in the bathroom when the doorbell rang out through the house.
Irene, Dan's Mother, opened the door with a smile that seemed like it never went away, "Hello Jaden," she said, "Dan is still upstairs getting ready for school. I hope you dont mind waiting a bit." Jaden looked in the kitchen where stood Dan's sister, Laila. "It's okay," Jaden said, as he stared at Laila, "I don't mind at all." He mumbled as he sat on the couch. Laila picked up an apple, "Hey, Jaden." She said as she sent the apple flying towards Jaden, "Think fast!" Jaden snapped his fingers, and in an instant the apple split in half and fell to the carpet. "Did you really think you could get me," Jaden said as he thought that he had impressed her.
"I don't know since the last time I hit you was," she yelled sarcastically, "every day for the past six years!"
"Well I was an inexperienced Psyche for the last six years." He said calmly.
"Oh you just-" she cut off as Dan came down the steps, but after he steped a single step she called out, "Hey Dan. Think fast." She sent the last apple towards Dan, who quickly snatched it out of the air. Dan took a bite out of the apple and simply said, "Hah, owned." Dan looked at Jaden, "Where's Django."
Jaden picked up his apple and made his way for the door, "I don't know," he said, "I think the story is Assassins training gone wrong, somethin about gettin' Pnumonia or somethin' like that. We leavin' now?"
"Yeah, 'ts go." Dan smiled at his mother, "Bye mom, seeya Light."
Light barked out the door as the three left the house.
They began flying out towards school, when they heared a voice singing. "Hey Dan," Laila asked "do you hear that?"
"Hear what," Dan and Jaden said in unison "hey stop doing that, no you stop it." They growled at each other until Dan ended it by whacking Jaden on the head. Jaden began hovering and holding his head as it started to swell. "C'mon man," Jaden winced. Laila shushed them and began flying toward the direction of the song.
"Bokura wa tsuyokunaisa tsuyokunakute i-" She cut off as they came up behind her.
"... um, hello?" she said timidly.
"Hey, I'm Dan Relics," Dan replied with a smile, "this is my twin sister, Laila, and my friend Jaden Retriyo."
"My name's Erin." She said, she didn't seem like she was comfortable with them, but she wasn't as shy asa she was before.
"That was a really nice song you were singing," Laila asked, "what was it?"
"Velonica," Erin answered, "it's sung by Aqua Timez."
"Never heard of a band like that," Jaden said quickly, "who're they?"
"Wait, Velonca, was it?" Dan asked
"Yeah, that's it." She answered.
"Hey just outa curi-" Dan cut off as the school bell began to blare.
Dammit we're late, Dan thought. "You guys, and girls," Dan said comically, the joke sucked, but it always made Laila laugh, and he could see that Erin had giggled a bit, "we're gonna need to fly at full..." Jaden and Laila were already far ahead, "...throttle."
"C'mon," Dan sighed. He began to fly off when he saw that Erin hadn't taken flight too.
"What's the matter?" Dan asked, he could've left her behind, but he would never turn his back on a new friend.
"I can't fly." She said. She may not have noticed, but Dan had seen her blush a little when she said it.
"That's nothin' to be embarra-"
"No, I've never told anyone else this," She cut him off, "noone ever taught me." she said sadly.
"Then I'll teach you." He declared with a smile.
Dan took her hand, and Erin blushed even more. Dan didn't notice it, and began lifting her up into the air. After about a hundred feet he let go, she fell though the clouds and dissappeared.
"Huh, what've I done!!" Dan went on yelling at nothing until he heard Erin giggling at him. Apparently she thought it would be funny if she had played a little trick on him. Dan groan in frustration and flew ahead.
Dan had ignored all of Erin's apologies until they got to the school.
